Employed a broker and compensated them plenty-did not understand they had been a broker, believed the $$ were moving toward the transfer. . .NOT. Subsequently Prestige revealed up announced with just two little a truck, maybe not sufficient movers and billed 50 percent more than has been lent to me. Yes harm to a lot of insurance and items provided to pay $36, actually!! What a scam. I am attempting to get reimbursement, but unless I wish to take years off my life, nothing will most likely happen. It is not pleasant to fool/scam Seniors. Can anybody help? This needs to stop.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Not only did they gun through our whole household products, they stole my sons whole wardrobe along with his assortment of Nike sneakers. We only employed Prestige Van Lines to move from NJ to FL. We had a massive move 4 bedroom home and full basement and garage. All of our furniture were hefty Ethan Allen bits. The transfer went well. Everything was wrapped and packaged well. Movers came punctually equally in NJ and FL with all our furniture. The motorists Michael and Owen were particularly valuable in keeping us informed throughout the procedure. The price wasn’t cheap, however, the furniture arrived safely and on time that will be what we were trying to find.

Finest Interstate Moving is a broker who put me up with a moving company that, seemingly, is the low bidder to them – And you do not have any choices or input regarding who the true mover proves to be. In cases like this, the true plumber has been Prestige Van Lines, Union City, NJ – DO NOT USE THEM EITHER – They’re worse than Greatest Interstate!
I found out that the true mover was likely to be two days before the actual transfer and that I googled them and watched horrific reviews.
I emailed Best Interstate and asked that they replace the true mover – No answer from Greatest Interstate, so I place them on notice that they’d be liable for any extra expenses and/or flaws.

My first quote was just under $5,000; My closing price was $8,800! (that you do not understand until what’s loaded…) When they have your furniture and possessions, they have you. I had to register all of their paperwork and I needed to pay money or bank check until they’d unload – I needed to use nearly my entire savings differently they’d place my furniture in storage (and billed me) before I paid.

My contract with Greatest Interstate Moving & Storage was presumed to be based on fat – that I had been to get a certified weight reduction in the inspector for your truck empty, then I was to obtain another certified weight reduction together with the truck loaded. The gap between the tickets are the burden of the furniture and possessions. I never received either weight ticket in Prestige Van Lines, only 5 pages of’Things’ recorded, and that’s how they get you. They consider every little bit of whatever (snowboard, shelf, etc.) as a’thing’ and cost accordingly.

In fairness, I’d added some things to my first list of Things that was used for the first quotation. These extra items caused roughly two hours of extra loading time and one hour of unloading time. I calculated that at $250/hour occasions 3 extra hours should have been +$750; Rather I had been charged an extra $3,800! I pleaded with Amir (Owner ? ) Of Prestige Van Lines) to decrease the overcharge – He initially wanted $4,000!
I’m Thinking about lawsuit however, suffice it to state – STAY CLEAR OF BEST INTERSTATE MOVING AND STORAGE in Addition to PRESTIGE VAN LINES, Union City, NJ.
