Our transfer in the mainland to Hawaii required a great deal of planning and research to obtain the greatest and cheapest way. This was a bit harder since we lived in a metropolitan region of Colorado. We’re far from major towns and cities to send from. We read out of others it’d be best to market all and rebuy at Hawaii. We made a decision to downsize and just ship things of sentimental value, important significance and things which we’d need to pay more for to substitute. We determined on Pineapple Express Movers, 44117 4th St Lancaster, CA. Since they’d send door to door. Down we sized enough, down to 400c. F. to discuss a container.
Initially, when they needed our company, they responded immediately and politely. They stated they had been quite a new firm but had all of the proper paper workthat were really useful. The first quote was for $1,600.00. They did need a credit card deposit of 285 but just cash upon pickup & delivery. We paid $2,172 money at pickup and $543 at shipping for an amount of $3,000. Our things were packed on 08-14-2018 and sent to our new residence in Hawaii around 10-17-2018. When the things arrived we assessed over as far as you can and detected 2 priciest items lost. Our grandmothers heirloom 1860s Victorian seat, also a 30yr old hand woven oriental wool carpet plus a fresh new Queen sized mattress. We also noticed a few boxes smashed a 4 busted products. (Surprisingly our huge screen TV made it undamaged.) The proprietor Kenny said he’d look and ship them on another container. Later that day we found more things missing and called them straight away. We’re writing this review in hopes to recoup our things after 7 weeks of trying. We had been told all of our things were found and could be sent on another container that they shipped. They lied to people on Sept. 5th by telling us how that the products were about a container in sea and should arrive in 3-4 weeks. As they’re a new business we wanted to provide them the opportunity to make it appropriate. We waited 4 months without a word in the beginning. We text the proprietor on Oct. 8 and also called upon the 10th without a response, known as left message in office again on October 18th, text Oct 19th. We eventually got a response which our items were found (again?) They had been placed in a container leaving weekly. About Nov 29 we publish them again with no reply. On Dec. 3rd we had been advised they’re in the front part of the container(again?) And on and off….Now they let us just be patient with them and they ought to be on here the 2nd week of March… Moving on 7 weeks and still stringing us along. They maintained our things with no intention of arriving and whined on multiple events.
