    Long-distance move from Atlanta, GA
    Smooth

Thank you for a terrific experience! The organization was great to employ:-RRB-. Moving is obviously such an inconvenience, but they left it a very smooth, painless, transparent adventure for me personally and loved ones! I’d suggest them to anybody who desires moving to be simple as you can. Costs were fair also. Employ them:-RRB-

    Long-distance move from Lodi, NJ
    Worst Move Ever

Moved 3 weeks back and am literally still dealing with this provider. Our quote grew by 600 + if the movers showed up and’reassessed’ our little 1 bedroom proceed.
The business promised to have the ability to send in a three day window and we foolishly believed them. Our possessions were sent a week after after exceptionally impolite interactions from the business. Upon delivery, our headboard was lost, so after waiting an excess week for delivery we still couldn’t sleep in our bed for one more complete week and a half as it was suitable for your company to drop by with the missing thing. They refused to make a special trip.
After delivered, a brand-new desk had a busted leg. I’ve attempted to contact them for reimbursement, but have been not able to find any solid answers from anybody besides it isn’t their problem.
I’ve filed a BBB complaint and intend to discover every possible location to make a negative review with this business so nobody else needs to go through this hassle whenever they proceed.
    They’re rude and inconsiderate!!!
    Don’t trust this organization!
They’ll charge much over the estimated cost!

    Long-distance move from Florida
    Deceit, Misrepresentation, and Damage

We had an extremely negative experience with National Movers (U.S. DOT# 984339) throughout our transfer from Florida to Utah in July 2016.
To start with, I am a military veteran with extensive experience with motions as a consequence of changing duty stations within my army career. Within my 28-years of active duty, I’d 16 moves, all of which were performed with professional moving and storage businesses. National Geographic’ recent movement of my own possessions, in my view, ranks in the very base of all my motions.
    1. When my wife and I reserved Nationwide Movers for our relocation, they gave us a”Binding Estimate Price for Services” that in our view and in hindsight, seemed to deliberately underestimate the magnitude of our relocation. The estimate was based on a phone interview where we moved room-by-room within our home and explained the entire contents of every room to the sales representative (Ron). Despite our comprehensive disclosure of all of the contents of our property, it’s our view Ron intentionally left things off the Binding Estimate so as to invalidate the Estimate on move-out afternoon and induce us to consent to further charges/fees. By way of instance, he didn’t include our King-size mattress on the list although we specifically advised him of the merchandise.
On pick-up afternoon, the motorist (Itzhak or Isaac because he introduced himself) anticipated that our home goods dispatch was 2,300 cubic feet rather than their 1,541 cubic feet calculated on the Binding Estimate. This was 759 cubic feet or 49 percent more than the quantity calculated on the Binding Estimate. The motorist filled out an aide quote form according to his visual review. He recorded a number of things in this revised quote as justification to invalidate the Binding Estimate and bill us to get more quantity. But a number of these products were actually already contained in the first Binding Estimate. Even in the event that you account for the things that Ron didn’t increase the original Binding Estimate (and weren’t duplicative), the record of these extra items was significantly less than 20 items which in no-way must have added up to a extra 759 cubic feet of volume onto the moving truck.
    2. On pick-up day, the movers considerably damaged a wall in our home. A mover backed right into a wall with his shoulder whilst carrying a bit of furniture and left a 14-inch hole in the drywall. We immediately brought this to the attention of the motorist after it occurred and again at the conclusion of the day prior to his death. He did not appear to take care of the harm brought on by his group’s negligence. He said he’d take a photo of the harm and ship it to his manager. In addition, he explained his manager would contact us, but nobody has done this so far.
    3. On delivery day, our dispatch came at a moving truck belonging to American Eagle Van Lines, Inc.. This was not the business we contracted with for this particular move, nor were we ever informed that our dispatch could be dealt with by a different carrier than the one we contracted with. In case Nationwide Movers was behaving as a Moving Broker with this movement, they then failed to disclose this to people.
    4. Our general impression of the status of our household products as it came from the truck was very, very damaging. It was obvious that little to no maintenance was accepted by Nationwide Movers to guarantee damage was kept to a minimum during transit. The motorist (Miki) seemed to be more worried about quickly restarting the truck than he had been with tackling our possessions with care. An overwhelming majority of those boxes were destroyed, ripped, gouged, or otherwise deformed in their initial square-cornered shapes. Apparently our dispatch got wet sometime following pickup in Florida and earlier shipping in Utah. Several things were seriously water-damaged throughout the 19 times in transit. The most upsetting issue is that not only were they water-damaged, but many also had layers of mould growing on them. By way of instance, a dresser mirror/hutch had extensive water damage which has been covered in mould.
We know we can submit a claim for all the damaged items through National Movers’ outsourced claims processing firm. But, our entitlement for any harm claim couldn’t exceed 60 cents a pound, per ruined thing. We opted to forego filing a claim through their lengthy and cumbersome process since, in our view, any potential settlement wouldn’t come near covering the damages, or tackle the harm to my own home, or even the misrepresentations from the quoted quote. After all was said and done, what was initially quoted as a transfer from Florida to Utah for $7,979.31, finished in us paying National Movers a total of $12,831.50. This signifies a 60.6% growth within the quotation that has been utilized to affix the bidding from Nationwide Movers.
Our lessons learned from that experience are: 1.) Never consent to or accept a Binding Estimate based on a telephone interview. 2.) Never utilize National Movers or urge them to anybody again. 3.) Stick with the bigger reputable moving companies like Mayflower, Allied, etc..
