Where to Begin? Well, I guess I must begin by stating that when they came a complete month after than the first agreed delivery date, then they strove to provide me other people’s items, delivered several things which were so badly damaged I was only at a loss for words, and to top it all off they did not understand where a few of my items were as they had been’lost’ in the truck. Basically, they did not get packaged on the truck and so were abandoned back in California. The movers were absolutely no assistance, and also left without even giving me a reception! The motorist Alex, refused to return and offer me the receipt once I called him over and over, and instead claimed to get it sent me when he got to the workplace. Where he’d also notify them that a few of my items weren’t delivered and that they would have them delivered to me personally.
Fast forward to a couple of days after, and that I was essentially informed by the guy who answered the telephone in the workplace that they don’t even bother with trying to locate your items and just pay out the insurance asserts that individuals submit. So, I submit an insurance coverage for all of the damages and missing things. Unsurprisingly, I have received no communication from them at all regarding my insurance case. This business is a fraud, and I have since hired additional movers which 1. Do not need money before even doing this, and two. Treated my things with respect.
Do not deal with these folks. They will not answer the phones when you call and they’ll ignore you until you move away.
Unresponsive, cover more when need be but appear elsewhere, wish I’d had. Thought I’d hired Purple Heart Movers just to wish I’d asked if they’re just a broker, which they are. Instead, they subbed out the job.
Below is the message I’ve delivered a couple of days back after getting my home products. I tried phoning Mike Zive, owner/manager and his reply had been”text me” that I did, without any response. (4) mobile discussions,a lot of texts together with promises to solve issues and deliver me exactly what they’discovered’ left behind. After 3 weeks I’ve already spent at least $300 on handheld gear, among those things they assert was’abandoned’ behind.

Mike,
The motorist, Edan, had been fantastic and did a great job, was really cautious with all of our things and Nancy wasn’t there to get the entire procedure. The team that picked up the substance out of my house in Menifee also did a fantastic and attentive endeavor, I had been there. Somewhere in between matters went variety.
The very first thing that I noticed missing was that a sizable Dewalt tool chest with all of my hand gear and also the box weighed at least 50 pounds and was on among those center shelves around the racks that I’d stretch wrapped for ease and safety. You will find at least 1000 of gear, laser tape, stud finder, wrenches, saws etc..
The horizontal display 55″ TV that was under a year old was lost around the corner and now there is sound, no image since the display is broken.
The Sanyo surround audio system, that was tagged as such at a box, isn’t available everywhere.
I’m missing a Massive Lithium battery for my own EGO lawn equipment
I’ve got a bed frame that is NOT mine, even a number house décor that isn’t mine etc..
The big thick book instance has a enormous chunk broken off on one corner and harm to the other.
The very pricey glass top sofa table gets got the nook of the glass broken, and the glass is roughly 3/4″ thick and hefty
The Massive pedestal lamp needed the glass part smashed in bits, the tower divided
The depressing thing is that I don’t even know Just What is missing because It’s Been some time since I transferred from this house
Instead of write a book, please inform whom I need to document and insurer to recover my losses.
Wish I’d heeded the testimonials on this website and many others, but I had been duped by the first customer support that I received from the sales rep, Brendon. We moved from California to Nebraska in February and that I picked this company due to the low-to-mid quotation range I had been supplied and since we wanted the confidence of working with a small company as opposed to a large company.
Brendon made the quote process look simple. I gave him a record of most of our larger items, and also a quote on the amount of boxes we’d utilize. Brendon promised me I could upgrade that list around 24 hours before pickup. Close to our package date, we chose to ditch a lot of our bigger items and understood we had lots of more sticks than I initially thought, therefore I shipped Brendon an email with our upgraded household products list. Brendon’s quote of 600 cf because of our house didn’t change. I thought it was strange, but I guessed it had been possible that eliminating these bigger items was offset by the additional boxes and presumed he knew exactly what he was doing.
On the day of pickup the loading team was really the best aspect of the experience. They did a fantastic job fitting our things on the truck and managed them with caution. Then we had been called out into the truck to find an upgrade our overage. We realize that a quote is not that… however we also supposed that a professional who runs a company and uses a particular software application to create these estimates would have the ability to find something relatively close real quantity. Perhaps with 100 cf roughly. When we got into the truck, the interior was indicated with a permanent marker to demonstrate the cubic feet that our items were carrying up. We had been at nearly 1,000 cf and we did not even have all of our things onto the truck at that moment! We were not surprised.
Seeing our response to this eccentric overage, among those workers who had been loading said”off the album” that when they see a quote from Brendon, they automatically assume it is actually going to be far bigger of a burden. My husband caught his electronic measuring instrument to assess the region inside the vehicle, and we found the markers on the walls of the truck which were being used to ascertain our closing cost proved nearly 150 cubic feet brief!!! (Therefore, if the products were 300 cf, then the truck marked them as 450 cf). We’re livid. We predicted the owner/manager, Mike, to explore our grievances.
Mike is unprofessional, misogynistic, disrespectful, and attempted to use his own military history as a shield against his poor business tactics. It was at the point that it had been brought to our attention which our estimate per cubic foot could go up an extra $1 per foot for whatever within our quote. When my husband talked with him concerning the difference in cost not being shared with us by his own sales rep, then Mike wouldn’t help him in any manner. He said that it was a part of the contract which we signed and that was closing. We, sadly, had to accept that the growth each foot over the quote was something which we missed at the fine print of this contract. But, we’re still grossly underestimated the amount of cubic feet for our loved ones by his sales partner, Brendon. Mike didn’t care.
When my husband drew up the wrong markings inside of the truck which was being used to ascertain not merely the magnitude of our merchandise but other client’s too, Mike confessed that the truck was incorrect and said he’d take off that additional footage… but he stated it as though it had been a favor to us. If we didn’t possess the tools or if my husband didn’t be able to assess the interior of the truck, then we’d not have known about it.
Fast forward to our products being delivered in March. They left our giant California King seat off the truck and it wasn’t sent to us. We filed our promise to Proceed Wisely and they’ve yet to provide us a response. They all do is forwards us exactly the exact same email saying we’ve got nine months to submit a claim and that it generally takes that long to finish it. Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You may regret it.
Listen to this copious quantity of reviewers detailed under. They are completely persistent in their messages. I moved to Idaho in CA at January. It took them 10 weeks to return to me for instructions about how to create a claim to get broken, badly bundle furniture. As an instance, they flexed a floor lamp, then scraped a packed canvas picture, and also left with no building furniture which has been stipulated in the contract. Brendan and Mike eventually told me the way to submit a promise. So I filed. They said that they have 90 days. I called, asked for upgrades, also waited the entire 90 days. The proprietor, Mike, will not call me back. Go right ahead and browse the remainder of the inspection since in case you go for this particular disgusting and unprofessional company, you’ll have the same happen for you.
1. They’ve no incentive to give an exact quote based on their own protocol. Especially, they did not even come out into the home to view my stock to get a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom after encouraged. My error. They then supplied me with a quotation. Come going day, we had been above the projected cubic square footage from 1000 cu.ft, also Mike from Transfer Wisely billed me an extra $3,200. Yes, even if we moved across the projected cu. Ft., I’ll cover this; nonetheless, I should not be billed twice the cu. Ft. speed that was originally quoted. It is not my fault you’ve got a dishonest incentive to below estimate individuals to gain more income.
2. Several things were damaged in the movement. Not things like glass, because you anticipate that. Items like canvas artwork, paintings, and wood furniture which has been”packed” from the firm. I have a lot of scrapes for my canvas art that can’t be replaced. The timber furniture wasn’t coated properly and today has many gashes in it which can not be repaired unless I invest more income. A floor lamp which has been broken down, wrapped and packed in bubble wrap has been bent. In addition they lost components to my fridge. Really? Set the trays and bolts back into the sealed doorways!!! I have pictures of each of the chipped, scraped, and dented things.
3. Move Wisely said they’d send enough men to find the truck unloaded in a fair period of time. They also said that should they broke it down to packaging, they’d reassemble it. It took just two men 12 hours to unpack all out of 1 truck. They did not put together the beds, both the status garage shelving components, the fridge, along with other furniture. The reason, they needed to push back to Southern California from Idaho that night (just a 16 hour drive with no traffic), therefore that they needed to depart.
3. I filed a form requesting reimbursement of those broken items and also the building of the substance that has been likely to be finished by them. Mike has now”missing” the paperwork, but fails to answer calls in my spouse, will not call me back. So here we’re on Yelp. Next Stop, the Better Business Bureau.
Don’t hesitate to phone me,Mike, differently it’s Small Claims Court.
Move Wisely was contracted through Gold Standard Relocation for our movement and they saved the day!! We’d hired another firm that lied to us. Crystal in Gold Standard understood how important it was for our movement to be straight from CA to TX for my elderly parents and place Move Wisely on our movement. This movement was stressful till Proceed Wisely showed up. They’re courteous, professional and trustworthy. I’d love to thank each of the movers in pickup and shipping Jonathan, Juan & 3rd man in CA and Jose & Danny which delivered in TX. They all were mild with our possessions and place everything where we desired it. They took great care of us throughout this movement, Their Manager Mike remained connected with me and also did a fantastic job. I’d suggest them to anyone desiring a trusted firm that will do exactly what they say!
I had to move my family from California to Florida and has been contacted by Move Wisely. Their cost was correct within my budget. The movers were professional and attentive. Shipping has been a day late due to an issue with weather, but all in all they did a excellent job without any damage or issues. Surely would use them again.
Saw one of the trucks driving around and had to maneuver thus gave them a telephone. Was connected with brendon. He was educated and walked me through the procedure. Pickup went smooth. The foreman Mike along with the employee Sammy were fantastic. The cost went up a bit since I had a couple more things I could not sell prior to pickup. Delivery took a bit more than a week. I would recommend this organization and use them later on.
On 03/26/2018 I entered into a contract using Proceed Wisely through there Representative Brendon. Please see attachment (First Move Wisely Binding Moving Estimate) Payment of 10% deposit of $913.70 was compensated together with my American Express Card. I also advised Brendon I’d be paying the 50 percent because of pickup of these things along with my American Express Card that Brendon advised me wouldn’t be a issue.
The contract called for 2550 cf. @$3.40 a week I advised Brendon that the products were in two (2) places. One being my home with household goods I would pack the tiny items and the next place was my small business warehouse roughly 3 kilometers off where I’d replicas of candies out of my company which would also must be loaded onto the truck. I also advised Brendon that I had both a pallet jack and a forklift to load the pallets on the truck. Brendon advised me that this wouldn’t be an issue since they’d fill my things at my home 1st and then visit my warehouse to load the items. Brendon advised me they’d be sending a Tractor Trailer therefore that there wouldn’t be a issue.
I inquired Brendon at the time when I didn’t utilize the entire 2550 cf. could I still be billed for the whole distance and Brendon advised me after the truck had been loaded they’d quantify the cf. utilized and would than dismiss so should it be less. Brendon also advised me that there was a minimum of 1400 cf bill even when I went under that.
I advised Brendon that I wanted the truck to be at my home early on the afternoon of 04/16/2018 because I was also going to be driving a U-Haul truck and a trailer into Tennessee therefore I had to leave early day. Brendon advised me that this wouldn’t be an issue because he’d have the truck there between 9am and 9:30am.
On 04/16/2018 in 9:25am I got a call in the driver which they’d be there in roughly 1 1/2hours. This means that they would be two hours late from my scheduled time.
At 10:50 am the driver showed up at a Penske Rental Truck and I counseled him this wouldn’t hold all of my household things along with the 7 boilers in my warehouse. The driver advised me that a 2nd truck was approximately half an hour behind them. I advised the driver I was advised by Brendon that a Tractor Trailer truck was to be used. The driver told me they’d move the things to the Tractor Trailer in their warehouse because it’s tough to have a Tractor Trailer into home areas to load them.
When the next Penske Rental Truck came I took the next truck into my warehouse and packed the 7 pallets along with my pallet jack on the next truck.
Upon returning back to my home the employees had practically finished wrap the furniture and began to load the 1st truck. I discovered then that the front part of the box truck was just being filled half way up the interior of the truck but didn’t say anything as I had already been told that the things could be reloaded on a Tractor Trailer in the warehouse therefore this shouldn’t matter.
At approximately 1:15pm the employees had completed loading the 1st Lease Truck. The driver handed me a revised quote with extra fees for Absolute substance and packaging of $980.00, and surplus cf. of 350 to be billed @ $4.40 per cent.
I advised the driver that the initial quote quoted revealed that I had been to acquire Complete material and packaging value $1000.00 for $0.01 and the driver said that they wouldn’t honor this!
Additionally, I argued with the driver concerning the surplus 350 cf.. Then he called his manager Mike.
I talked with Mike on the phone and again the $1000.00 of overall material and packaging wasn’t likely to be honored. I also contested the surplus 350cf. And Mike tried to inform me about the way the 1st Lease Truck was nearly full and the 2nd Lease truck had seven pallets on it. I advised Mike that the front on the 1st Rental truck had been hollow half way up and the rear had at least 4 feet of vacant space. I also asked Mike about why a Tractor Trailer that I had been told could be used so that we could find out the cf. then and there and also Mike advised exactly the exact same as the motorist which they don’t utilize Tractor Trailer trucks at home areas as they sometime could not get in or playground.
Mike advised me that the things would be moved to some Tractor Trailer in the warehouse and then the cf. would be set. Mike also told me that he had a different client that was going to Tennessee and that my things could be loaded on precisely the exact same truck as the other men along with my things could be loaded last so that they might be sent 1st.
Mike and I talked about the complete cf. along with the fees again and Mike promised me that when the Tractor Trailer was affluent they’d recalculate the cf. at the time and he’d correct the last payment so. I agreed and approved the payment of $7800.00 in my American Express card with the arrangement that the last payment would be corrected if the cf. was lower compared to 2900 cf. on the contract.
After reviewing the contract again I noticed that the calculations about the contract were incorrect. The five things on the contract less one discount on the contract says it’s $13,207.00 but when calculated in regards to a total of $11,714.00 ($8670.00 + $1540.00 + $980.00 + $867.00 + $150.00 – $493.00 = $ $11,714.00).
Mike advised me he’d call me if the Tractor Trailer was loaded to provide me an approximate shipping date and just how much the last payment could be if it had been lower than the contract stipulated.
On 04/26/2018 I hadn’t got a call from Mike since he stated he’d so I phoned him and Mike told me that the truck had been on it’s way to Tennessee and that I could call the motorist”Dan” to program the delivery.
Then I called Dan the motorist of this Tractor Trailer and he informed me that my things had been loaded 1st (maybe not exactly what I had been sworn be Mike) and he’d be moving past me to Nashville 1st to float on 04/28/2018 and then driving to my home in Tennessee on the day of 04/28/2018. I counseled Dan that could be nice but maybe not exactly what Mike had promised me.
About 04/27/2018 I drove approximately 1 hour each way to Wells Fargo Bank at Florence Alabama to find a Cashier’s Check in the amount of $3900.00 for the balance due on delivery.
About 04/27/2018 Dan the driveway of this Tractor Trailer called me to notify me I’d require the last charge of $3900.00 upon delivery of this shipment. I advised Dan that I had a Cashier’s Check currently designed to cover it and Dan advised me that could be okay.
On dawn of 04/28/2018 I got a telephone call from Mike saying that they couldn’t take a Cashier’s Check and that I would have to pay by either cash or US Postal Money Order. I suggested Mike the trunk was an hour off and I couldn’t move and cash the check and then get him money until Monday. Mike advised he’d speak to”his boss” and then call me backagain. Mike never called me back!
At 3pm on 04/28/2018 Dan the motorist called and I moved to where he had been situated at Savannah TN and escorted him back into my home.
After Dan obtained the truck positioned I suggested Dan that I wished to gauge the interior of this Trailer to determine precisely how many cf. was utilized. Dan advised me he couldn’t even start the Trailer before I’d given him that the Cashier’s Check for the balance of $3900.00. I told Dan that wouldn’t be an issue since I understood that he was just the driver and had nothing to do with all the fees I had been billed.
After giving Dan the Cashier’s Check, Dan opened the trailer so that I could quantified the distance that was utilized. As soon as the Trailer was started I discovered that when the truck had been loaded 3 of those seven pallets were disassembled to combine the distance that was used for its dispatch. The quantity of space utilized was roughly 1/3 the interior of the trailer. I needed to measure from the exterior the span so I’d Dan admit the external point and also the interior point are the same from the rivets on the trailer. I then measured the interior width and height of the trailer. The dimensions have been Length 252 inches, Width 108 inches, and Height 117 inches. This calculated 252″ x 108″ x 117″ = 3,184,272 divided by 1728 = 1843 cf..
This mean that I had been overcharged 707 cf. @ $3.40 = $2403.80 and 350 cf. @ $4.40 = $1540.00 to get a total of $3943.80.
I advised Dan the motorist of the and also advised him he knew that he would do nothing about the overcharge but desired him to admit that I’d done the dimensions properly. I also advised Dan I’d be calling Mike on Monday. Dan advised me he’d also let Mike Know.
At the afternoon of 04/30/2018 I telephoned Mike and informed him I would prefer a refund to the overcharge and asked him how he was going to manage it. I also advised Mike now I had physically measured the total amount of space utilized at the Trailer. Mike stated he’d speak with”His Boss” and could call me back by 2pm his period on such afternoon. Mike never known again!
On the dawn of 05/01/2018 I called Mike again and inquired what he and”His Boss” had determined? Mike reported that”His Boss” had approved a $400.00 refund. I advised Mike that this wasn’t acceptable since the refund must be over 10 times this sum. Mike told me that I may not have produced the dimensions properly and that I assured him that not only had I measured them properly but I also had the motorist Dan admit the dimensions.
I suggested Mike I had been attempting to let them make this error on their role directly but Mike just kept making excuses on why the fees were right. I counseled Mike to have a look at the contract and he’d observe that the improvement was incorrect and he informed me he wasn’t in the workplace to examine the contract.
I told Mike I didn’t need to have to submit a dispute with American Express and Mike told me that completing a dispute could don’t good as I’d approved the payment to that I answered I’m not disputing the entire payment however the overcharge on the calculation about the contract along with the overcharge about the cf. charge.
Mike advised me he’d speak to’His Boss” again and that I told Mike that the ideal thing to do would be to possess”His Boss” telephone me straight and Mike said he’d. I never got a call!
I then contacted American Express Customer Service and request them to submit a dispute about the $7800.00 fee that has been created by Transfer Wisely in the sum of $4843.50.
Contract Calculation over cost $899.70
Cf. over cost $3943.80
Complete more than cost $4843.50
I will begin with the pickup date. They were two days late to pickup, and we were not informed they weren’t coming to the first date before late in the day. Something about somebody not showing up for work and they had been not able to establish that afternoon (June 1st, a Friday) and also another as they had been shut on Saturdays. I needed to escape work on short notice to get a Sunday so that I would be there when they came.
The movers were very pleasant and loaded up my stuff attentively. Although I did find several bits out of the bookcase on the floor. I didn’t need much. Only 1 bedroom value of items that comprised a bed, bookcase, along with a design table that folded down on itself and ended hardly any space. It had been largely boxes and bins, but somehow went over the initial quotation from 50 cubic feet. I used ton’t know just how this was possible, however they appeared to understand exactly what they have been doing, and consequently I paid the gap.
I advised the shipping for 13 days after, June 16th, that was a Saturday. When I inquired if this would be okay, the plumber advised me it’d be OK. I transferred from So Cal into Texas and came the afternoon before the movers were scheduled to arrive. On this day no one revealed and nobody was replying any telephones. I phoned again on the next day to the major office and obtained Brandon, who led me into Mike. Mike told me that the truck hadn’t left yet, and they’d be leaving the next day, Monday, and might arrive at Thursday. He explained he’d also send me that the drivers data so I would keep tabs on his or her place.
I surfaced , and on Wednesday, the present date that I’m submitting this review, I phoned Mike back again. He advised me that my matters hadn’t been packaged on a truck yet, and’could’ be packaged and put out for shipping which Sunday OR Monday. Sunday will happen to be 21 days in the pickup date. He didn’t understand where my items were and wouldn’t give me some more info. I phoned their office again and was advised they just install the motions or receive any updates beyond the pickup. He didn’t understand where my items were, the reason they were not in their method, or anything related to my purchase. Rather than attempting to figure out anything he attempted to guide me back into Mike, that didn’t understand anything either.
Finally, they’re insisting that I pay them in cash before they even unload my items. When they finally get here naturally. Without me wanting to see the way my items are, even if it is all there, and when anything else is damaged. As it stands I don’t understand where my things are, even when they are going to even get here, or just how much extra they intend to charge me. I’ve been becoming distracted ever time that I call and receiving no replies.
I had been billed 75 percent more (i.e., almost double) than that which I had been quoted. The quoting procedure is disingenuous, as it takes one to imagine at the quantity of your possessions (nobody has that right), plus they bill a cubic foot (which they did not mention before the truck was loaded). For instance, I informed them I had a mattress, but I said I never told them that I had a box spring (for me, which sounds implied).
Second, they broke a cupboard, missing a step ladder, missing a vital part to my amusement centre, and strove to give me someone else’s table. In addition to this, the movers created a few dings from the door frame in the destination, and that I am sure I will wind up paying for.
Additionally, they demanded odd kinds of payment. There was a bizarre debacle having to do with the credit card payment initially, they then needed money or even a”postal money order” (nobody has ever asked me for that before) for your destination payment, which makes a stressful transfer more stressful. In addition to this, they said I would pay 50% up front, however that I really got billed 65%. I was even going to cancel, but they said it would cost the greater part of a grand to cancel.
Another piece that I will mention only to be comprehensive (I do not especially mind) is that the destination movers had something wrong with their truck, so it appeared to take them longer time to unload matters than it might otherwise have shot had their gear been functioning.
Some things I valued were that the destination movers braved the Montana chilly (it was snowing) and that the moving business held my belongings before I figured out where I was planning to proceed. Additionally they got it there within 4 days of the move so far (they stated up to 21 was that the maximum ).
