Speaking from my experience, I wouldn’t use this provider again & highly advise anyone reading this to locate another moving company. I’d Lyon transfer a few my mom’s items from Connecticut to Texas. The quote & sales pitch has been exceptional, yet I heard Lyon is entirely deceptive. Critically read”Knowing Your Quotation” from the quote they email you. Lyon won’t inform you they believe that their ESTIMATE to turn into a”contract” and if my things were sent (on truck in my drive ), that is the point at which they gouged mepersonally. Lyon promised fantastic cotton glove service and excellent cost of 1098, which finished up in $1,500!!!!! As soon as I phoned them to explore the $400 growth, they insisted that I pay it or else they won’t provide the furniture inside their own truck on my own driveway. Even the”contract” that they had to gouge me isn’t binding & that I propose individuals examine the”contract” they promise that you have that’s nothing more then the ESTIMATE of this transfer, foolish! I clarified the way that they conduct business was incorrect & severely disturbed me. The last payment is the place I got me; I either pay them the remainder of transfer with escalation in cost or I don’t get my things. I think this is the reason they don’t accept credit card payment since the iniquitous exaggerated bill could have been contested & I’d have won! Lyon ONLY accepts cash, postal money order, check or certified check, that left me no other way to dispute the incorrect & egregious sum they lent me. Once I sensed extorted, needing to cover their inflated invoice, I call back again, the girl on the telephone was among the very crude people I’ve ever spoken together & she wrapped me up since I had been refuting the growth in price. I called back again requesting a manager, first telling him that I expected that their calls were listed so that he could listen to how disgusting & insulting the girl employee handled me. Then the way I had been disputing the cost gouging and also the unbinding arrangement that they had to gouge me (that I NEVER signed up ANY touch, and a buddy signed something once they loaded things on their truck at Connecticut ) & asked for the sake of their $400 that I believe that they extorted out of me. The manager actually agreed with me, even stating there was a great chance I’d get a number of my cash back, yet another LIE! I effectively pointed out that the illicit manner they billed me & asked to get a last copy of the statement and also a duplicate of the newspaper my buddy signed up in Connecticut, and of course they never sent. I left this asked a couple of times so that I could pursue a civil situation , they refuse to send me anything. Additionally, I told them when they didn’t return a number of their overcharged amount I’d actually provide the business negative testimonials, which I’m true to MY word. There are so many moving businesses to pick from, I wouldn’t suggest Lyon.
