Long-distance move from Grass Valley, CA
    Sandy July 2019

Proceed from CA to TN No celebrity really a negative evaluation.

We contacted America on the Move who stated they could proceed our (my son’s home and mine) into Tennessee within 7-10 days. They offered us a total of $9,295.28. I gave them a none refundable deposit of $2,300.93. Subsequently on July 12, shortly prior to the scheduled transfer date of July 23, 2019, I got yet another call from another individual saying the cost was likely to become another $3,000 and asking another deposit of $1400. The movers showed up a day early and after they stuffed their truck along with my son’s belonging told him that the cost was now $10,718.33, only because of his home and demanded a second $5000 up front. When I went into the bank to cover is when I understood they weren’t America about the move. They arrived at my home the following day and shifted my cost to $17,872.60 and stated they had an extra $8000. They already had $8700.33 and each of my son’s possessions (spouse and three children ). Decision I gave them the 8000. They have $16,700.33. They loaded up my stuff and off they went. I flew into TN to our brand new homes, and we waited, and waited, over two weeks. I maintained known as Fernando who delivered plenty of texts in response to my calls all stating busy Ill call you back, which he never did. I called Diana who had been rude and when I informed her we had been informed 7-10 days, she got very snippy and said that they had 21 business days. We had three children without beds or fabrics or some other furniture. Stuff came 2 months afterwards and Fernando stated I needed to pay and extra $1,200 for a transport fee. And then refused to unload the truck before I signed is newspaper saying I obtained everything. When I explained I didn’t need to cover anything else or signal his newspaper before I could see my possessions, he advised me international wold take back everything to CA, promote it and sue me. He said I had $16,000 in insurance. He watched all of the broken and damaged stuff, all of the smashed boxes. He gave me the title of the insurance policy person who had me jump through hoops in the end of September during February 2020. She eventually told me she wasn’t an insurance provider and that she’d advised Fernando to not cover out on the promise since I had signed off to the harm. I informed her I had been made to register and she suggested I phone Fernando and ask that he for move the signed record, which I did. Diana said it shouldn’t be a issue and she’d call me back, and that she didn’t do, nor have some of these shot my calls since then. I’m filing a suit. These folks simply can not continue to do so and remain in operation.

    Long-distance move from California
    Move from CA to FL

This business is a scam and shouldn’t have the capacity to take care of people so badly. I genuinely wish I could speed this provider even lower. My husband and I moved from dangerously to FL. Select up date was October 19, 2019. We were initially told that this movement would require 7-10 business days onto the telephone. After we paid our very first deposit and signed the contract, then the movers didn’t appear till 10:45 pm on going day and we had been advised that it may take up to 21 business days to get there. Next, while studying the arrangement, we noticed that it states 30 business days. We’d doubts but had already paid a deposit so we moved ahead with companion for our relocation. We waited for THREE weeks in our new flat using ZERO furniture or kitchen/ toilet things. We predicted several times/week and even obtained an attorney involved. They’ve a clause in the contract saying that they will compensate for the consumer $20/day after 30 business days. This would indicate that they owe us $880 and refuse to cover it. But once the movers finally came, Fernando (the man in charge) dismissed texts and telephone calls and eventually simply sent a text saying that I needed to pay the entire balance owed or the movers wouldn’t eliminate our things out of the truck. After we had our things, we obtained broken furniture, broken glasses and dishes, plus also we had been overlooking 3-4 pieces of high value (a wonderful tent, brand new JBL speaker, etc.).

In general, this firm was bad to use. They ignored us all the time on the 3 weeks and then told us several lies during the procedure to get us off their backs. We had been informed 3-4 times within the previous 3 weeks which our stuff had been on its manner or’d abandoned their warehouse, every time this was to be untrue. As luck would have it, this final time we really finally obtained our possessions (January 17, 2020). Please please please spare yourself the problem and cover just a tiny bit more to get another company or simply rent a Uhaul in order to understand your things are protected. I guarantee it’s well worth it. It’s been overwhelming and stressful to take care of Leadership Logistics.

Run run run do not use a broker cuz that is the logistics business you will wind up using and they’re the worst any of us have ever experienced don’t utilize them
They’ve such a lousy reputation it is impossible for them to receive any company with their own name in order that they get all their company via Agents who are not any longer than workers of Leadership Logistics. That is a whole scam perpetrated by direction Logistics ought to be prohibited I despise them

Long-distance move from San Diego, TX
THEY ARE SCAMMING BROKERS STAY AWAY!

Direction Logistics are COMPLETE SCAMMERS! My transfer has been from San Diego to Austin. Unfortunately the first moving firm I hired was be a broker and they offered my occupation into Management, I never heard this before the day of my movement. Direction showed up and promptly tried to extort money from me, they said the project was under bidding, also that my possessions needed at least 700 cubic feet, maybe not the 438 cubic feet I had been initially quoted for my own entire service contract together with 20 boxes contained, they also broke blinds on the door I needed to cover, and their personnel confessed they broke the dividers and also to take it off the previous payment. Well once they loaded my possessions the last record it revealed 438 cubic feet rather than the 700 they maintained and just 16 boxes not the quoted 20 box limitation. So I asked a refund, and they said they’d take it away the last payment due on delivery, so they whined. I talked with Fernando the afternoon of my transfer when matters were going down hill immediately, he explained he’d secured a place for my possessions on a truck departing the next morning March 24, which we can settle the gaps on the last payment. Fernando whined naturally , I left messages with his team to get a return call from Fernando for fourteen days and everyday I’d be assured I would find that phone, I never did. Additionally, I talked with their logistics individual Diana and she had been a nightmare and pathological liar! So ultimately they didn’t ship my possessions immediately as promised by their proprietor Fernando they postponed the shipping of my possessions for 3 months without a excuse, because I don’t believe”Well, [EDIT] occurs” a valid explanation that is the only excuse I received from Fernando. Well after living in a vacant apartment for 3 months, being made to purchase an air mattress, I eventually obtained my possessions. It was a JOKE how badly they packed my belongings, I’d floor lamps smashed, coffee table, end tables, entertainment center furniture ruined, eyeglasses broken. . .etc. Additionally, the day of shipping they decreased my final invoice by nothing…. No, maybe not even the broken blinds, I talked to Fernando because his worker was unloading the truck and told him that lots of things was ruined, which he had to decrease the final bill by $545 as promised, and he need to educate me on how to document for my ruined possessions, he hung up on me, which is last time I have been able to speak to him, he’s a COMPLETE SCAMMER!! Avoid this organization.

    Long-distance move from California
Your moving company may give your business to Leadership Logistics

I initially contracted my move via Sentry Van Lines because their online reviews appeared to be great. I obtained a minimal quote ($6323) and created a deposit of $2908 which wouldn’t be refundable for annually at case I changed my mind and went with a different moving company. That detail ought to have raised a red flag straight away. Two days prior to my transfer, Henry Stripe (“Quality” out of Sentry Van Lines) predicted and ran a much more comprehensive stock, leading to an updated estimate of $12,000+. An additional deposit of $2215 has been demanded. I was confident that my moving costs wouldn’t exceed this $12000+ sum and may even be less. What a joke! On the afternoon of the movement,”Morris” came, added an extra 1300 cubic feet for my bill of lading, also raised my shifting price to $18,4124. Morris demanded $7000 in money”on the spot”. This last amount was based on a total of 3000 cubic feet of my possessions. At that stage, I’d no option but to proceed with the transfer, as I had a flight booked, job interviews, etc., that couldn’t be postponed.

Morris had leased a 26-foot box truck. That size truck retains just 1611 cubic feet (I googled it). The truck was full, but another truck wasn’t needed. What’s more, if my possessions were sent into a 10 x 30 x 10 storage area, the space wasn’t filled (likely 2/3 stuffed, at best). In case my possessions did really occupy 3000 cubic feet of space, why would be the storage area not packed to the rafters? In my own possessions did really occupy 3000 cubic feet of room, why was just one 26-foot box truck necessary for the possessions? To say I have been overcharged is an understatement.

Once I took delivery on my own possessions, then I discovered that Sentry Van Lines was just the”agent” who procured my small business, which Leadership Logistics was the firm that Sentry Van Lines hired to furnish the movers to perform the job. Morris, as a worker of Leadership Logistics, was the individual who overcharged me. Since I’m certain that you have figured, Diana listened politely to my criticism and explained that Direction would be calling me shortly about this situation. This was 10 days ago, and they still have not contacted me — no surprise there. I also corresponded with”Admin” in Sentry Van Lines, that had been rude and insulting in the beginning, but afterwards offered to assist me along with my grievance from Leadership Logistics. It’s been 48 hours, and I haven’t heard from him either.

For all those of you out there that, like me, are the victim of overcharging and deceitful business practices bordering on fraud, please submit customer complaints into the following bureaus:

    • United States Department of Transportation
    • Your State Department of Consumer Affairs
    • Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
    • American Moving and Storage Association
    • Better Business Bureau

Additionally, please post negative customer reviews on these sites:
    • Yelp (“Direction Logistics”)
    • QQmoving.com (“Direction Logistics”)
    • Leadershiplogisticsinc.com (“Direction Logistics”)
    • Sentry Van Lines (or even the van lines company that you hired)
    • MyMovingReviews.com

I would also encourage you to get in touch with the regional television channels and broadcast your views with all the customer activist on team. Let’s not let those dishonest and unethical business practices to continue unchecked. Stand up and make some sound — if for no other reason than to frighten others to prevent these businesses.

    Fraud, scammers and theives

Buyer BEWARE! Don’t utilize California Van-Lines who then subcontracts to Direction logistics. They conduct a scam company!! They’ll charge you more than what’s guaranteed and if you call them out on it, so they’ll float your own belongs. . Abandon them in front of your home and stop you. And even after being requested for another chance, you will still walk off with extra charges. They will not deliver your own personal belongings in time, will not compensate you for some of the gross neglect and in the ending… you might not get your own personal belongings whatsoever! Regrettably, I trusted this business to transfer my family’s possessions from California to Washington. Not merely did my possessions arrive late, but REPACKAGED, MISSING AND DAMAGED! Sentimental items from my marriage and family heirlooms were BROKEN .Items were stolen out of my first boxes and repackaged in different boxes. When I eventually got a grasp of the agent, he not only was very impolite but had no opportunity to listen to my cares or concerns.I’m totally appalled, frustrated and frustrated with all the careless acts of the organization. To make the most of households needing moving assistance is unforgiveable. The choice to proceed is stressful enough, particularly once you go from 1 country to another. The very last thing you ought to need to be worried about is that the maintenance of your possessions when you employ a”Professional Moving Business”.
Erica, Perhaps if you like the supervisor or some other manger could have granted me a call once I asked to talk to upper direction, would understand the reality. Nothing you’ve said is close to the fact, but no concerns. . I’ve pictures and documentation which says the reality. The very first team that arrived out needed to charge me a $150 for allegedly 175 feet away from your door to truck that was not true at all and actually all he needed to do is ask me to open up the gate to allow him to pull in. So after we solve this problem, ” he then wanted to charge me $200 for two addictional boxes, so this left no sense to me personally. This was when he discovered me calling Marcelo using California Van-lines that he began crying, cursing and telling me that he was the boss and that he stopped. In the point he’d even went off on Marcelo.now if your telling me that your team is professional and great at everything they do, then great Lord I’d hate to find out exactly what you think bad, since his behaviour was quite dishonest and unprofessional. Never once did he visit that my AKC Boston terrier Dogs. . NOT pit bulls. In reality, the next team who arrived the next day played together and shared that his family also raised the identical breed. Marcelo is the person who ask me to be individual and that he’d figure out it. So far as the shipping proceeds, we paid down a fee on the 7th of February to substitute the test. I’ve got it in text that direction logistics had obtained the postal money order in their accounts and would begin working on receiving out my shipment. It took just a couple of weeks and two weeks to receive my possessions. It required me to contact you about some upgrades and obviously you men waited till the final minute to receive my cargo outside and it was late( 8 weeks late). Your contract says that for any reason why you men are late..We the customer will get $20 compensation and you guys didn’t honor this. The afternoon we finally got our cargo, once more we were being told that the motorist (Peter) might not have the ability to go into the gate. Peter didn’t wait well we have a Uhaul. I explained to this Peter that we dwell in a military housing area and that there was only a family that transferred outside that had the identical truck, however, he refused to go into. Now my husband made the choice to offload in the front gates and we’d transfer our possessions via our very own vehicle. I was not completely upset before the driver opened the doorway and 2 boxes came flying outside and dropped and saw the way my possessions were still throwing in there without no maintenance. To make things worse, each box which he redeemed you are able to listen to the broken glass that he did record it to the loading sheet.

Long-distance move from El Cajon, CA
    EXTORTIONISTS - Do NOT Use

I hired US National Movers to move my home products from CA to GA at the start of June 2018. They quoted me $2,240.08, half since afterward ($1,017.10) and another half due upon pickup, in the kind of a cashier’s check. I decided at the time that it had been more cost effective to maneuver my flat rather than selling my decor, because I wouldn’t have the ability to refurnish a 1-bedroom flat for $2,200. I had been scheduled to be picked up on June 26th or 27th. I talked with US National Movers that a couple of days ahead of the scheduled pick up date to take closing inventory of my things to be transferred. Apparently, my mattress wasn’t recorded originally and the individual on the telephone, Justin, told me that he would look after the mattress but the extra boxes could bring up my total and that I owed an extra upfront sum of $112.22, which I paid at that moment. I advised Justin that I couldn’t pay much more because I wasn’t working with a massive budget. He didn’t comment, simply processed the payment info. Upon the movers coming on the 27th Jose, the agent from Leadership Logistics, advised me that with all the boxes I’d had, it seemed the total given about the quote was marginally low. He explained that so as to measure it properly, he had to put everything about the truck since the boxes between the living area and bedroom (of the 1-bedroom flat ) were spread out, so I consented to let them load the truck. In addition, he suggested that we take good care of the paperwork straight away so that he could combine his team in loading the vehicle. As we finished the paperwork, he let me understand that the total would be about”950 more.” At that moment, I had been frustrated in having to invest an additional $950.00 but understood that it was still within my way to cover. While we had been sitting at the table signing up paperwork, I asked about them maybe packaging my dining room table and 4 chairs as I was unable to locate a box large enough to the glass table top. Jose I want to know that they may package the dining table to get an extra $150.00, which I declined since I of my own budget. After we completed registering and completing the paperwork, Jose combined his team in loading the vehicle. After all of my things were filled, Jose I want to understand that the total was really less than the”950″ he offered previously, it had been just”550.” Then he took his phone out to do a few calculations and also to my surprise,” said the new complete are a whopping $5,131.80!!! I advised me”I didn’t have $5,000 to offer them” and that he responded with a increased and stern voice,”your stuff is already on the truck so that I’d need to charge you anyhow!!!” When I inquired about the extra”$950″ he said, he let me understand that he was talking in terms of cubic square feet rather than bucks, which as a customer, I know nothing about. Not knowing what to do or believe at this time, since I needed to proceed, be from my location, push from California to Georgia to fasten my new flat and begin my new job, I reluctantly wrote him a check and gave him my credit card for half of the extra charges. After considering how they tried to extort over double my initial quote, I determined that I wouldn’t pay them from duress, so I place a stop payment on the test and billed back the further amounts on my charge card. Now , I feel as if they’ve stolen all of my possessions including clothes, clothes, furniture and each private effect I have. I’m not informed about the moving company however I do know when I’ve been scammed along with the bait and switch was performed. I simply hope and pray someone can help me in regaining my things as I don’t understand where they’re at this moment. Upon attempting to speak to the first contact firm, US National Movers, I had been wrapped up on, along with the movers, Leadership Logistics are still hoping to accumulate and bill me for storage I was told could be free for 30 days, which seemingly started on the day that they picked up my possessions. I now have received a letter from their lawyer, saying that if I don’t pick up my possessions out of Los Angeles county from August 24th, my whole family is going to be auctioned off on August 27th.

The same review I gave to Open Road Moving on July 19, 2018

I’m referring my criticism to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, California Dept of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau and American Moving & Storage Assn.. I’ve similar criticism given by men and women who employed Open Road Transferring and Leadership Logistics Inc.. I also have contacted my attorney to examine my contract(s). I compensated Open Road over $2,000 through credit card and Direction Logistics $4,500 (cashier’s check). These men ought to be researched so that the consumer is protected.

If I could give 0 Stars I would

I hired this moving company that will allow me to go in CA to CT.. Prior to the move I have quite sick and then hired them to package for me too. I must mention I don’t have any evidence of these, but I’d pearl earrings, a diamond ring, with a pretty wonderful watch and imitation diamond rings in my jewellery box. The business told me they’d call half an hour beforehand but not did and showed up in my door to begin packaging. As I was talking to one of those gentleman concerning paperwork that the other went right into my room and filled my own jewelry box. I moved back to receive my jewellery after speaking to the very first gentleman . however, it was already packed. I figured it’d be fine. As soon as I got my cargo my jewellery box arrived totally fine with of my most valuable jewelry. Today I am unable to state the plumber took this for certain since I don’t have any firsthand evidence however, you can deduce anything you please out of what happened. The kicker is that if I needed to speak to the proprietor Fernando concerning my lost things he laughed at me and informed me quote”I understood that you were going to be problem .” Personally, I think that everyone who had lost jewelry could be problem, particularly because it shines a bad light on his firm.
