    Long-distance move from Rhode Island
    Packers are thieves

This shipper was organized and paid for by my company, so that I did not think to read testimonials before utilizing them. I wish now that I had and noticed the numerous references to thievery. I’ve not ever had a worse going encounter although I’ve moved a lot of times all around the planet over the last over 20 decades. I’m witness to the fact of the other adventures of thievery. I had several brand new quite expensive household things stolen by the dispatch from the packers. I found this after getting the dispatch, but I was quite skeptical during the packaging procedure. They packed all three boxes from the cellar but carried them out into the truck without repainting them. When they were allegedly already packed and started hammering closed I needed to wander out to the truck and watched among those packers moving loose things around within the truck. As soon as I appeared, it was that they were a few of my own belongings stashed in the rear of the truck, rather than in the boxes which were allegedly already finished packing and prepared for taping closed. The man made some lame excuse and packaged a few of the items in front of me, however I afterwards found lots of items lost. Do not use this provider ever in the event that you don’t need to lose your items.

    Great Moving Company

I’d hire Jones Moving & Storage again in a heartbeat.   The Expense of the movement was even less than what was quoted.   The movers were on time, professional and very curteous.   They managed All the items with care and also wrapped the furniture to protect it during the transfer.   Their costs were cheaper compared to other moving companies we all predicted.   Have recommended them to numerous family, friends and coworkers.

Jones Moving & Storage Prov. R.I.

I had the misfortune of selecting this set of thieves and that I regret doing so. Here’s a listing of items that they stole. Six collectible knives, several diamonds, antique diamonds, a world/satellite mobile radio, $1,000 value of colognes, all of my kitchen utensils, in addition to some other items that I am unaware of. I think that they may have even stolen several pairs of my newfound underwear. They played with my athletic gear damaging among my very costly products. They started up every small thing which they may potentially get their hands on looking for more cash to sneak, illegal or prescription medications, gemstones, and whatever else which they may put into their own pockets. Whomever makes the decision to hire these scoundrels following reading those testimonials (without mggsoph) will risk losing their house and getting their furniture and other possessions damaged or broken. I can go on and on about just how unprofessional and utterly untrustworthy this set of individuals are but if those testimonials do not convince you then, there’s not any hope for you along with your possessions. Take my advice and hire somebody else to the moving day. Jones Moving and Storage is your most powerful moving company ever. I would not recommend their solutions, not even to my worst enemy. They stink !!!

    Long-distance move from Rhode Island
    Terrible Experience

I generally do not bother posting testimonials however we had such a profoundly horrible encounter with Jones that I wished to let other people understand, particularly discovering this website.

We had them pick our stuff up at Rhode Island and send our items to NY a couple of days after. In the start they have been unreliable and self explanatory – after promising us that we’d be first on their agenda, they came very late. After people called the central workplace, Mike answered the telephone. He was so rude, abrupt and provided no apology or excuse.

The actual tragedy came after when they were assumed to send our stuff into NY. We gave them special instructions to finish the delivery until 4 pm according to the principles of our brand new construction. We repeatedly made it obvious to them that the shipping had to be finished prior to 4 pm and coordinated with the managing of the new construction and they promised us that this would not be any issue.

They came after 4 pm since they’d loaded the truck wrongly – they set our belongings on the interior of the truck so that they needed to create 2 additional deliveries first. It was an great hassle since we had been outside of the nation and had a person waiting at the flat all day, expecting the shipping. After we learned about this and approached them we coped with Mike again. He had been discourteous, defensive and completely unprofessional. We did not hear a note of apology or excuse from him- instead he spouted off a record of explanations and obtained no responsibility for this mistake. He promised that the delivery could be made the following daythe first thing in the afternoon. We had somebody waiting at the flat and from 3pm,” Jones Moving Company had not shown. Multiple telephone calls were created through the afternoon and Mike repeatedly advised me that they would arrive any moment. They ended up arriving in 3:30 pm. To make things worse, they forgot to deliver tools to reassemble two of their bed frames so that they were left in pieces.

Bottom line- I would not suggest this moving business to anybody. They’re incompetent, unprofessional and untrustworthy. Moving is always a stressful and exhausting experience and the entire purpose of hiring movers would be to relieve some of the strain. These guys simply don’t appear to comprehend that. They’re incompetent, disagreeable to handle and also their work and professional behavior does not inspire optimism or repeat business. I wouldn’t use them again and that I repent trusting them with my items. I truly encourage folks to look elsewhere as Jones Moving Business does truly dreadful work.

    Storage horrors

Our expertise with Jones wasn’t so great. The business saved our household things (including quite expensive antiques) for 3 years since we sailed across the world. Throughout this time, you will find lots of billing issues, since the office team had a whole lot of turnover and has been quite cluttered.

After we returned from our excursion and asked our saved goods to be sent to our new home at Virginia, Mike was not able to transfer our things despite several promises. We ultimately found our very own individual moving business. Regrettably that moving business didn’t exactly check the boxes off that they obtained from Jones. We’re currently missing many things, but have zero recurse with either company.

Jones also has had a sofa of ours for 3 months and guarantees every week once I call that they will get it to us soon. They keep to”wait patiently for one more truck going in our leadership” to deliver it to us, rather than cover the $400 delivery price from a cargo business. We’ve asked they ship the sofa regardless of the $400 transportation price, particularly because they’ve been able to shed so a lot of our items. But they continue to vaguely promise they’ll shortly. I really don’t understand how to move!

My inlaws had also used Jones and viewed as the movers shattered costly seats and a desk ahead of their eyes. Jones denied to compensate for the broken things, just as they’re refusing to admit the reduction of our products (high end bedding, and a great deal of kitchenware, a bit of a television entertainment centre ) We did not even deal with the harm to our own antiques incurred from the warehouse, even after hearing of my inlaws’ encounter.

Do not utilize Jones to shop or transfer your products!
