Hollywood Moving and Storage

Don’t use this provider! I used them last summer and had a dreadful experience. I began searching for movers by simply filling out online orders. Whoever owns the business, Bobby, emailed me in response to some internet petition. Though I received calls from different businesses, I picked Hollywood Moving and Storage for the guaranteed low rates and since they had been licensed, bonded and insured. After doing business with this business, I quickly found why it is not worthwhile to consider the cheap route.

Moving Day: The 2 movers came on time and prepared to do the job. They facilitate the truck fast and economically. I don’t have any complaint concerning the first support. The shipping was just OK. They have been sloppy and lazy with all the unloading, but nothing alarming. But in 30 seconds after the movers left my brand new location, I discovered that my flat screen TV had a fracture in it. I promptly called the business and finally got a reply in Bobby.

Filling an Insurance Claim: Initially Bobby appeared professional, and that I felt as though he’d solve my problems without delay. After a number of emails, I finished up NEVER receiving reimbursement and Bobby finally stopped responding to my own messages. Please see attached pictures of mail correspondence.

The following Note: The movers also broke my mattress frame. I didn’t see until after a couple of days, but never bothered to bring this on my claim.

They were all sweet when I had been getting quotes but then they wouldn’t return my calls or emails. They maintained a large framed thing approximately 36 x 48 in their truck. 1 time that the supervisor said they’d return it but nobody has come from and I’ve emailed them about 30 days in the previous 3 weeks. They won’t ever answer the telephone, therefore I cant even talk together.

I must have assessed Yelp before utilizing them, it let you know just how dreadful and how they are.

My mother used them and they gave her $300 then if they got there they said 500 nicely my mother had to leave so she did not see them pack. They shot 4hours to pack her things and its a 1 bedroom flat when a desk. They charge twice on the street and took twice the time for her new location, she overcome them there by two hours afterward said she owes them $800 she does not have that type of cash so she spoke to the manager who would not use her at all and took all her things from the truck and left. My mother is left with the clothes on her back at this time. I will call any and every one I will I will post this on each and every website I possibly can I’m calling the bbb. This is past the very ridiculous firm. My mother has nothing at the moment for all we know they offered all of her things.

Entirely concur with Michael. Had a negative encounter also. My first opinion was a good one nonetheless. Like Ellie stated their worker Vicky, whom I recieved a first quote from was respectful and professional. This was the scope of it nonetheless. The movers worked in whole reverse style from her. They proceeded to reevaluate what she told me and were so careless. This was true with all the movers and also managment.

***BE VERY CAUTIOUS**** see his reponce and the way he’ll attempt to say differently , he does it on virtually all reviews. Messed up delivery dates I predicted holleymood storage and moving 15 days before when I wanted my items to be sent (oct. 2nd). They told me fantastic and would call me back to schedule a time. I didn’t hear from them so I called them about the oct 1st (listed both calls). He explained that the 2nd was now marked as earleist shipping date (that was my no later than date) but its really going to be another two – 10 business days before I get my items delivered. The guys name is Bobby Williams and I belive he’s the GM. I told him I had a time and date, and he refused to provide me one. I really could of had my items delivered prior to the 2nd but they never called because they were supposed to. Bobby was quite impolite and condescening like he appreciated hearing my own pain. He didn’t twll me when I’ll recieve a call, he still didnt give me a date. He simply kept trying to educate me about logistics rather than own up to the ball that he fell. This occurred at pickup time too, they never gave me a call back so that I would need to call right before pickup to make sure they had been there in time. Additionally during pickup, the workers said they wish to function really slow since they get paid by the hour. I said anything thats nice I got all afternoon.

Dont take it only from me….look at each other review on google and yelp.

I had been recommended to Hollywood Storage and Moving by family and friends whom had utilized Hollywood Moving ahead. I had been bombarded with calls and pushy sales people and it had been difficult to pick a mover, everybody seemed great. I resorted to requesting family members and friends who they had used before, and according to their great experiences I took a jump with Hollywood. I must mention word of mouth will be the thing to do!
Hollywood Storage and Moving has been considerate, honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. They could use my program on pickup and delivery. The movers have been hardworking professionals, both educated and efficient to answer all of my questions. I already experienced a yearlong movement throughout the entire procedure. I’ve combined my collection of friends and family and will advocate and use this provider again.
