I hired Grid Iron Movers to load my family possessions for a transfer from Illinois to Arizona. While they had been considerate, well mannered and hard working, they also were much more brawn than brain as it came to loading the vehicle and transferring a few awkward bits. We had a queen sized sofa bed in the cellar which needed to develop. In the procedure, the drywall on the cellar stairway took a few big hits. . .Grid Iron consented to pay for the drywall fixes after having a quotation from our professional. The job was completed, Grid Iron’s proprietor, Eddie, came by to test it and pickup the written statement that he asked, BUT he had paid for the job. The identical couch was torn in many areas because of their mis-handling bringing it up the staircase. I would like to add that the couch had made two previous trips up and down these stairs, through time, with no harm to it or the walls. Furthermore, a lot of different pieces of furniture sustained minor damage on account of the way that they were put on the vehicle. Part of what I was paying for was that the Knowledge of the movers in loading and handling furniture. Grid Iron didn’t meet this condition. When Eddie promptly took responsibility for the drywall harm, I was amazed. But, his failure to follow through with repayment Is Quite unprofessional, and quite unsatisfactory. Pretty much, he’s a liar. Overall, it was a Really unsatisfactory experience. Like I said, they were a fine enough team, however more brawn than brain. I Wouldn’t advocate Grid Iron Movers, under any Conditions. Please be aware that this is really a”load just” trade. The truck was pushed into Arizona by an expert driver and then unloaded by another moving company. . .not Grid Iron.
