The movers for this particular business ruined several parts of precious furniture which I had, and tried to insist that it was formerly in that state. The movers became belligerent and insulting. Their mindset in this entire ideal was rude and disgraceful. The director of the moving business that I talked with on the telephone said that he would come to see the furniture and also bring a person to fix it, but not responded to numerous mails and telephone calls. They transferred a bit of furniture, a buffet that I have, and it was scraped severely in many places. The movers whined and attempted to inform me that the harm was already on the buffet, even though I’d transferred it into my storage unit and it was absolutely alright. Not merely was it scraped, but they stacked several heavy things on top of it, and now the drawers don’t shut easily. I packaged that buffet in my storage unit myself and it stayed coated with two thick blankets while it had been there. It was either scratched if they were carrying it from the storage device since they were not being attentive enough, or it had been scraped another stage in the transferring process. It was quite clear that the scrapes were fresh, as there was a heap of new scrapings of paint all along the very top of it. I provided several photographs of the to the corporation. Furthermore, harm was done to my Korean trunk, a very rare and precious thing that’s irreplaceable and that I highlighted to the business that it had been valuable. They said they’d send someone to repair it and they never did. This firm ruined 80 percent of the furniture that I have. You will find multiple IKEA bits that I had which were all scratched and banged up, but I frankly only care for my buffet and back. If they’d have reacted we could have worked something out, but they intentionally destroyed my furniture and fretting about fixing it.
Additionally, the movers who did the task were impolite to one of those men at work. They spent a lot of the job whining about the next man, bullying him, and trash talking how bad he had been at his occupation. Among those men spent 10 minutes mansplaining moving beds to me personally, even though I have transferred mattresses a few times and frankly did not want his view. Overall the experience wasn’t pleasant, and that I still could have gotten more than that when they had not destroyed the sole excellent furniture I have. They also don’t accept credit cards, you’ve got to pay by PayPal or Venmo. Annoying.
