Imagine moving to a different town at the beginning of March 2020 (International Pandemic) to be with no furniture or possessions for 5 weeks and growing.

I understand they will provide you a much lower quote and the sales staff seem like decent human beings but don’t fall for this deceptive company!!! In the proprietor, David, to movers that they will suck the life from you.

I’ve been working with this business for the previous year and half and every Scam checklist was checked. From loading my furniture prior to giving me real quote and inflating 3x into extorting me to get money of $500 as hint to highjacking my furniture and possessions.

It’s been 5 month today I have been waiting for my delivery as well as the insurer which I paid additional (second degree ) can not do anything since they maintain telling insurance that they will send and insurance will not cover up since Movers claim that they have my furniture and also will send on a fanciful date. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Shady clinics, $500 over quoted after the products were on the vehicle. When the movers came in NM, they unloaded 900 cubic feet of distance in their own trailer. I can’t say enough great things about my own experience on this business .They met us on time up in Boston, packed up us safely, moved us into Tampa and retained our things in their truck before the afternoon we said we’d proceed in. They even delivered approximately 5:30 pm at the following noon just so they could send it to the day we had it. Highly recommend.

Worst shifting experience I ever had. They’ll provide a set rate and state they will not alter it and will cost extra fees when packaging. The motorists and dispatch workers are incredibly rude, as though you’re not paying for this support. It took nearly two weeks for me to get my things and I needed to always call to get upgrades since they do not update you about the status of the items. I had been overlooking a box as it came and also given somebody else’s items. They gave me a hard time about driving in my area and carrying up items a two story home. This moving firm has been a night mare. The tricked me and overcharge me. The refused to unload my furniture before I signed up and give them my credit card. Obviously before I signed up there weren’t complete quantity. As soon as they completed 9 hrs after, I had been charged an extra 3 hrs. So call for”wash the toilet , clean and wash the moving blankets.” They shipped 3 guys (1 was a girl, that couldn’t actually do much moving). I needed to hire 3 guys in the conclusion of this moving, since the complicated I proceeded into had a time limitation. Well unfortunately that has been not the only good thing at the time since everything went downhill once they took my things. I waited 5 weeks for my delivery, when they finallly delivered my merchandise, and I understood that I had things lost, I had been advised to telephone the office and report it since most likely it had been left behind. My first telephone call was 9/14/16, I clarified what things was lost, was advised that they are going to have somebody look for my items from the warehouse and return to me. I called again a couple of weeks later since they WILL NEVER RETURN YOUR CALL and had been advised that they discovered my things and it’ll be placed on the initial truck moving to Florida that dialogue happened on the previous week of September. I waited for my merchandise and nothing. I needed to phone back in November and was advised that they forgot to place my things at the vehicle, I was subsequently assured it is going to be in another truck earning under fourteen days. I waited December, January and February. . Through that I predict at least once every week for an upgrade. WAIT!!! IT GETS BETTER. . So my things I have been waiting for finally came YESTERDAY! But the most significant thing I was awaiting and absolutely desire (MY 30 mill bin with ALL my clothing and sentimental items) wasn’t in the truck although I had been told repeatedly that my bin wasn’t there. I called today and talked with all the most obnoxious person (Jason) who advised me quite much”oh well the bin needs to have gotten lost during the trip from NJ to FL”. I begged him to please look again at the warehouse to find out if perhaps it had been still there, or maybe call the other two stops before me (I had been the final stop on the initial trip) to determine whether the bin was accidentally left together , this obnoxious Jason pretty much refuse and advised me to submit a claim. A claim which won’t even cover for the purchase price of the bin allow alone all of my clothing and sentimental items which has been lost as a result of fail. People I really understand the anxiety moving triggers and you all just want it to go smoothly, but for this business it won’t. They pretty much stop caring after getting payment. The secretary will yes you to death should you telephone, but they’re likely minimum wage employees doing the very best they could. The proprietor David isn’t any help, he is constantly on holiday and the dispatchers will be the worse. Avoid this moving business. I am not the only one providing a poor review. I’d look at presuming the negative reviews prior to the favorable ones since I now wonder if the favorable reviews were placed there by the employees themselves. I just transferred with the Assistance of Great American Van Lines. They came on time and it was really me that wasn’t prepared lol. I asked for some help packaging and it had been the best decision I could have made. Apart from saving my sanity, they were very excellent. The driver of this truck said he’ll assess the warehouse and call me. He calls me the following day and tells me that he let his boss know about it. While I call the fantastic american van lines I had been connected with David who began the dialogue with”The TV has to be deciphered and so they never delivered”, once I asked them where’s the TV I get the answer”May be the TV is broken so that they dint boat”. When I insisted on finding the TV I get the answer”The TV was totally damaged and has been trashed”. This is complete crap, I am quite certain that the TV is stolen. The only real mistake I made was that the TV was packaged with its original box. Any one considering the box will understand its a 50″ LED TV. . And of course the broken shelves and lamps. Never ever go with these men, I don’t recommend them whatsoever. . I completely regret the decission

The problem we had to undergo since we had not faced a situation where a plumber comes in and leaves.    Eventually in the day we reserved a U-haul and transferred the things in 3 hours between me and my spouse and 3 excursions because we had a more compact truck. Intially chosen Great American because of great reviews on this website. I was VERY WRONG! Salesman promised that the truck could be considered empty. The driver had no thought that he was supposed to accomplish this. Got a quote for 2200lbs. When motorist came they said I’d 500 cubic feet and could be billed in accordance with cubic feet rather than weight. Spent 45 minutes phoning principal office. When boss finally known as he provided a”flat rate” instead. He tried really had to convince me that it was a fantastic bargain and kept saying”trust me”. To top it all off, the driver attempted to amass Turnpike tolls out of me. Obviously I cancelled everything and asked for my deposit back. And so could not reach RI on the afternoon the movement was scheduled for.  He promised me that the repairs could be complete the next morning and that the truck/movers are there by 9am on Sunday.  Fast forward to Sun 9am, no bath, no telephone call.  9:20exactly the same matter.  So I predict Nathan’s #, receive the run around from the men and women who answer the telephone.  Eventually receive a call back from somebody else stating that there wasn’t any way that they can transfer me on Sunday and that I must come across another mover! He asked him when he would at least send a plumber having a UHAUL truck and he also stated there were no UHAUL trucks accessible from the nation!!!!!   I nearly had a heart attack since I had needed to be from this unhappy by 9am on Sunday because the new tenant had been going at that afternoon.  To make a long story short, Good American Van Lines never arrived!!!!  I needed to have my buddy (who had been in their 60s) allow me to move all my belongings on the sidewalk… and then I wound up leasing a UHAUL for >$100, and then leave many items on the road (together with neighbor’s aid ) as we just didn’t have the manpower to unload it after we got to the brand new apt.  Adam, the customer support guy that was so reassuring and fine before to shifting, not had the decency to return my telephone call after this fiasco occurred!

Never’ve been so worried!!! This is the worse moving business I’ve ever employed. Excellent American’s recent movement of my household products from Hartford CT into Miami has been the worst I’ve ever observed. After showing up one hour late, with no adequate paper to correctly wrap our products, they took almost 5 hours to package a 1 bedroom flat. 3/4 of how throughout the transfer, we seen one of the team packing quality and antiques pots and pans with no newspaper in any respect. As soon as I informed the foreman regarding the issue, he said he would look after it. When we seen another issue, they assured that they’d used”sufficient” wrap. . .Sure sufficient, after getting our products, we discovered several objects broken, dented and divided (glassware, lamps, pc, etc). Regrettably , I trusted their standing and my memory of all of the PROFESSIONAL moving companies I’ve dealt with while at the Air Force and didn’t get the extra insurance. Their fundamental insurance is almost useless ($0.60 per pound per item). The final price was also well over the estimate.
