We get Paul Gentil and he made the movement really seamless and simple. The quote they gave us was below what it really costed us that was an extra bonus.
The movers were very considerate and pleasant for my and my wife and help to make the moving process very straightforward and efficient they offered us 6 hours and we figured it’d take more because it had been raining that day. But they we re efficient and fast and helped us proceed within 4.5 hours.
I’m really happy we picked them and would love to urge them to everybody.

The inspection from Susan Klein is currently 90% manufacture. There were damages for her furniture however Ms. Klein was searching for a big pay day, she filed a claim for $7175.00. I attempted to settle her claim how our insurance carrier counsels us to do that is to only have her furniture mended by quite competent furniture fix folks, but she would not have it. At the end her claim has been settled for $1100.00 which coated pickup, delivery and repair back of her ruined furniture. The $1100.00 comprised a review with a claims adjuster that added to the price, the true cost of repairs was approximately $750.00.

The insurance option she took was using a $500.00 deductible, which was her decision so that it was factored to her settlement from the insurance policy co.. Like I told her if she insisted on submitting the claim during our insurance policy company she’d have been better off letting me have the fixes completed since I’d have cared for this pickup and delivery straight back and if it’s clear that individuals caused the harm I usually pay the deduction since I get very good pricing out of the furniture agency I have a connection with.

I hired Gentil Moving Service to transfer two flats from Brooklyn  into Huntington New York. Possessing invaluable parts of furniture Mr. Gentil offered me $95,000 value of”INSURANCE”.  As soon as I filed a claim for $7175 in damages….several antiques were broken up and severly damaged, Mr Gentil stated he’d be coming to scrutinize damages. I inquired exactly what INSURANCE COMPANY he had been having to assure my possessions he replied”MOVERS CHOICE” He arrived and watched the damages himself. A week after I received a letter stating that when I sent him a check for $500 ( my allowance ) he’d pick up the broken bits ( now greatly decreased in worth ) and also have”HIS UPHOLSTER AND CRAFTSMAN” attempt to fix them as best they can. Again I asked for some evidence that I did really buy actual insurance  but he refused to reveal anything. I am 66 yrs old and have bought many many insurance coverages. This time I had been scammed…I paid to get a”FAKE” insurance plan if all I got was his needing the $500 allowance to cover his partners to try and do the repairs! Additionally, I paid close to $10,000 for its transfer and compensated him to pack the boxes. All the boxes were full of mostly paper and a Few items….and in a minimum of 45 each box….about 100 boxes turned into a huge rip off.   I didn’t know I needed to oversee the packaging in order to not be ripped away. Also several valuable things were missing….But how can you know they’re missing unless you shut EVERY BOX while the movers WAIT??? IMPOSSIBLE… so I signed up the launch and Mr Gentil has NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MISSING ITEMS…. Gentil Moveing Services are disreputable….they are Bad movers or provide actual insurance but”offer insurance coverages” BEWARE
