Mover showed up in time. I’ll give them a four stars because several things I’d like to say here that among the Agency weren’t wearing uniform. The next thing was that they attracted just 3 wardrobe boxes at which I request 4 in the time of booking, therefore I must produce a extra boxes. They did a quick job. They functioned continuously without squandering a moment. Overall support was over the average.

I had been quoted $75 an hr for 2 professional movers + $75 for traveling time to be added to the amount of hrs.

I had a garage full of furniture which I and a buddy moved out of the home to the garage (we sold the home and we are moving). All that has been required to be done was to move the furniture four toes into the ramp and set it on the moving truck. The challenging part of transferring the furniture up n down stairs has been already done.

The weather was chilly so I also decided to remain and provide the movers a hand if necessary.

The movers came at 10:00 am – maybe not in any way excited or prepared to do the job. I advised them that what was already in the garage ready to go that just two mattresses from interior and a few table seats could be left to proceed. As soon as I asked them to remove their shoes that they refused and proceeded to drag snow/Salt on the hardwood flooring stating that it was policy to leave them on. I said okay, but at least wipe your shoes ( I had been surprised by how unprofessional the motorist was). The motorist was very rude, another worker did not talk much- he explained he did not understand any English when I said anything to him. I must say he looked like he was only doing what the driver told him.

We headed back out to start the job. I could see immediately I would have to remain with these men. The very first peace of furniture that the driver went to proceed, he had been very rough with and hauled round the front of the driveway into the ramp. I told him you must lift this or use a blanket, so which it was a costly serenity.
They transferred 3 boxes plus a half of an armoire to the truck once they then told me that they would have to charge an additional $100 per thing that’s heavy. I informed them I need told this or else I would not have hired movers. This was just 20 mins into he move. They called their manager and proceeded to squander 40 mins trying to pay off me 80 then $60 stating that for $60 one employee would not have the ability to assist. They moved on and around the telephone to the stage I was like that is really a joke and a waste of my time.

When I talked to Tony the first owner their boss who reserved the movement he also tried to upcharge me.

I refused to cover their upcharges and only wanted these 2 men off my home.

I needed to pay $140 to both of these men that looked as though they never transferred furniture per day in their own life to come into my home and attempt to upcharge me and allow me to miss a day of work.

I hired another firm that arrived two hrs after and moved all the furniture with no complaints. The new firm I hired wore shoe covers and has been really considerate. It took them a total of 3 hrs.

OVERAL A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WASTE OF MY TIME. Fortunately other movers were offered to finish the job or final on our house would have been postponed.

I predicted GEM Movers two weeks past, their contact information was online. Two men batth and Jassi along with all the tools for assembling and disassembling things and also a truck was on scheduled time in my location in Brampton. The 2 men wrapped our furniture and load it carefully in truck with no damage to furniture and house though it was bulky. They packed all things and attained our new residence, disassembled furniture flawlessly. I believed it’d take 6 hours atleast but that which was completed in only 4 hours. I strongly recommend their job for perfection.

I transferred Stoney creek into Paris ontario. Our 3 bedrooms transferred by Gem. Movers had moving and pads blankets to wrap our furniture. It took more than last time since last time hired three movers now just two movers. But we’re pleased with the task done. I’ll use them for the next movement. Thank you

This moving company didn’t ship me professional movers. They do not even bring their packaging tape and used mine!

My move was from the GTA. The men were slow and did everything possible to lengthen the period required (immediate bath breaks as it was the very first movement of the afternoon, carrying items with a single hand with another in a pocket). Constantly on their mobile phones.

I’m grateful I had a relative with me as one of us needed to have eyes on them at all times. I waited to depart my first condominium before I noticed they began moving the truck, which required me waiting in the driveway watching them and waving at them for going, otherwise they’ve sat there a great deal more.

Furniture remedy: They’d spent some time attempting to take apart my bed frame and did not have the ideal tools, which I am happy I insisted it would match if they just removed the headboard (which it did) so I did not need to reconstruct the whole mattress on arrival. Then they dragged my dark wood queen mattress frame throughout the ground with no protection and scraped it around. They attempted to move it via the doorway span wise, when any individual taking a look at the doorway could let it just fits up width. On arrival, my seat had been tilted up against the truck and they allow it to fall and smash onto pavement, scratching and flaking it. They broke a tall mirror at the skillet and made zero attempt to clean this up. My mirrors and TV weren’t wrapped with blankets, along with also my couch/dresser weren’t plastic wrapped as normal with movers. They’d NO mattress bags available to purchase, and thankfully I had a mattress protector which ended up filthy and dusty from being hauled across floors along with the truck (at least that’s washable). They do not pack items logically at the truck and cracked both my white kitchen seats in numerous areas. Everything came from the truck concealed and filthy.

Payment: they’re unlike additional moving companies because they request a $150 deposit prior to the transfer begins, and inform you if your period is”upward” and you want to pay again or else they refuse to accept your things off the vehicle, and estimate”business policy”. Every other company I have dealt with gets one to register in the start and cover in the conclusion based on how much time it took. It was at this compelled mid-way payment which I told them that they should receive their act together and get my larger furniture pieces from their truck, depart the smaller bits downstairs for me personally to perform and leave. I would urge anyone over these men but Atlas Van Lines and El Cheapo movers are fantastic folks to use and also make moving a snap – this adventure proved to be a stressful mess.

Just needed one big item of furniture transferred from 1 home to another (literally a 10 minute drive)….
To begin with, I had been called by the business at nearly 10 pm (!!) The evening before to determine if I’d agree to some later time than I had booked – was hopeless in my end – therefore we consented to the first time, however the truck had been over one hour and a half overdue anyhow – multiple telephone calls to Tony and the one driving the truck, kept being told they’d be there”in 5 minutes”, or”10 minutes” – They moved to the incorrect speech (despite me telling everybody the right speech from the very start & above and over again!) And they then required NO responsibility for it. They backed up the truck over the face of the yard. They would not touch the furniture before I gave them $150 up front and then they would not bring the furniture from their truck before I paid the remainder of the cash – that was greater than we had agreed upon at reserving!! I phoned Tony to assert the purchase price, particularly considering their lateness and total ineptitude of those movers. Then he spoke to the guys, and they informed me that I could pay the lesser amount, but then the rest”will be taken from the private pay”…I mean, come forth!!!! That is extortion!! Obviously I am not likely to create lower wage employees suffer – they both stood there looking gloomy, so I paid the complete amount (that was ridiculously large considering the very modest quantity of labor involved!) .
It sounds Gem also has a few favorable reviews – perhaps it depends upon area? Or the luck of the draw? But I won’t ever use their services again!!!

All emails and telephone calls involving”Tony” has been a quotation for two hours.
Wherever in his quotation did he mention that they charge $ a stair….they also have lots of other”hidden” fees!

The two guys showed up 10 minutes late. Clocked in. Than requested to use the restroom. Another man stood out nothing. After another guy was completed in the restroom (5 mins)… he than moved out and began to 8-point flip on the yard – DRIVING ON THE SEPTIC TANK and above a TREE! Happily he didn’t sink the truck costing $$$$$!

It was at least 15 minutes than finally the guys began to”work”.
I had been the only running up and down the stairs with all my bins, computer desk, book shelf, a treadmill, deep freezer etc.. One stood at the garage while another the truck. When conducting out things to the guys I noticed that they were even looking through MY BAGS to find out exactly what I’d packaged – HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!

When we arrived in the destination inside 1.45hr – 15 minutes left to shut the vehicle, the driver STRUGGLED to park the truck. They asked when I could go knock on my neighbors doors and request them to MOVE their automobiles since the guy had been”UNABLE” to reverse the truck. (He must have readily been in a position to – NO issue!)

Once parked on the road. . .they REFUSED to start their truck before I gave them CASH for 4 HOURS!!!! (The quotation said they approved MC and Visa).
I WAS SHOCKED! We have there in 1.45hrs- and they REFUSED to give me my furniture back till I paid 4 HOURS in money! I phoned”Tony” who than YELLED at me and my neighbor on the telephone in his speech (non-English), and using profanity and calling us names.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE – They watched a single girl and took good advantage. They’d no RESPECT for the own property. They do not understand how to push their truck and they’re slow dreadful movers.

I phoned for 3 individuals moving my things out of Toronto into Trenton. I had the exact same move this past year and it took 6 hours and those folks weren’t working. I told the man on the telephone from the start that I have a good deal of things he said it is ok, it requires 7to 8 hours.It took them out of 11 am to 4 pm to carry down my stuff from my flat into the truck. From 4 they left the flat and got to Trenton in 7:20 it took them two hours to float and they billed me 4 hours.
Contrary to the rest of the companies… they obtained 600 deposit and after that before they unload they made me cover the entire amonth for 4 hours unloading…! When they float, nearly everything was damaged and broken. And God knows what’s broken from the boxes, so they did not provide me any reception…!
They do not understand what they’re doing.they over cost ( I paid twice the price I was suppose to cover ) they’re rude and unprofessional.

We predicted and especially asked for a quotation for 1 hr and an hour traveling (for a little job free of truck only two movers) that was agreed a week ahead of the transfer. We inquired about a minimal and we had been confident there was not one, which explains the reason we agreed to utilize them. After the 2 men came they took the cash and they functioned 15 min. They then ceased, manually altered the signed contract and stated it’d be a 4 hr minimum charge and would not finish the job without obtaining more income.

I’ve called three weeks past reserved three guys for five hours. I’ve talked to someone besides Tony I did not get his name but he said if I pay money I do not have to pay tax on that. This morning they arrived three guys at 9:45 AM so They were presumed to be here before 2:45 PM. They shot a deposit in the start and then when they left my previous home they chose to really go to get an hour lunch and I discovered that they’re not supporting me on the road. I called and talked with Tony he said I must pay tax I said well that is exactly what the other man had said and he said if I pay money. So it took approximately 15 minutes for this to get settled afterward if they left I recognize they just work for 3 hours and bill me for 5 hours of the 3 hours 1 hour has been only one hour lunch. As soon as I called Tony ago I said my previous home has a camera as soon as your guy abandoned my brand new home I had a tech there who had been there until the 3 movers obtained there. Tony would not even let me talk. I got so angry that they charge me over $200 for work which they did not do even the tech said I noticed the way they had been in a rush to depart and my previous home they’d also bring up some of these things back and the funny thing is I did not even give me some newspaper no bill nothing. When I phoned and talked with Tony he stated that his men didn’t take a dinner and that I said they did since I have a list of calling them once I had been in the new home so that they came an hour at a little later. Overall I really don’t understand what state Tony is from but that is Canada you do not do illegal things here you operate and you also get paid you do not accumulate deposit in the start when they are uploading and you also do not collect the remainder of the cash when they’re not completed their job I’ll be reporting them to Better Business Bureau and I shall take additional actions if I want to.
Keep away from this business that this is the worst company ever they’re a rip off they’re not legit.

They did amazing job too movers were both accomodative and fine. They revealed at appropriate time and their support was great even price was fair, therefore entire experience was great.

They were two hours late, (we asked for them to be there for 10 am, did not appear till 12:30) contended about needing to be compensated at the drive for an hour (that we payed for even as they had been two hours late). Tony’s explanation for this is that we did not call back to confirm, despite the fact that we had a reference quantity and period of birth. We had been overcharged on our estimate hugely. They simply filled half up the truck with furniture and we all needed to rent a uhaul and then return to our home and receive the rest. The movers were unprofessional bringing no gloves without protective coverings. We had been confident there could be blankets to the flooring and blankets to get under the furniture once piled. There was not. Upon arrival we signed up a contract, even when requested to get a copy in the end we had been denied and advised to get in touch with tony. Our estimate was $200 for your truck and $75 a hour with a minimum of 3 hours. We had been advised by the movers to cover for 5 hours of hourly when all was completed in 4 hours AND a they had been two hours late. They would not even open the door to your truck till we payed them, essentially holding their half stuffed moving truck hostage.

After coming home from working a 10 hour day I needed to move to assist my mom and her female friend unload the remainder of the truck to another two hours whilst the movers basically shuffled around pulling their feet. They’d tracked mud through our home and to our rugs which we now have to wash.

We’d told tony we had been going from a three bedroom townhouse that he referenced to a lot of occasions as a”one bedroom flat” even once we adjusted him.

We’ve known as tony and asked him exactly what he can do to make things better for us about our broken furniture, so we could find no collaboration.

We think that is the fault of these movers because we had been told there could be protective gear which there wasn’t. In addition, we think they are to blame for harms because they didn’t use gloves, and didn’t lift items in the appropriate way (all drawers dropped from dresser since they lifted it together with all the drawers down ). I myself observed them DRAG a dresser over unfinished hardwood flooring because there was not much distance. Obviously the flooring are now noticeable scratched.

They didn’t brings tools and’d really asked me to go get them a hammer and a screwdriver in order that they could get rid of the doorway the bring our sofa in.

Following the entire catastrophe was completed they failed to end the meeting with a handshake and a goodbye. Just said”we’re done” in broken English and got in the vehicle and left. As when their job was completed. They didn’t speak with us the entire time that they”moved” only saying”what area” and moving everything to the corner of the room.

I’ve never in my entire life been more awestruck by the absence of absolute respect and professionalism from ANY business. And of course the horrible customer support we have had.

This firm moved me in May, 2018. They had been recommended by somebody who had employed their services. The team were there on time, they have been incredibly agreeable, really proficient and had me from my house and to my new house inside the time offered to me. Everything was complete and the guys were quite accommodating in putting things in which I needed them. A dreaded movement was be stress-free. If I were to go back, this Corporation will undoubtedly be my first pick and I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody

Caution with the Hamilton place. They overcharged about the entire rate by adding”fractures”, and”traveling” into the general hourly speed, with no telling us about it before. They didn’t use caution when going and have abandoned a few scrapes on the furniture along with the home. They pointed to lawful conditions which were not a part of this signed agreement once we asked about this. Additionally Tony has exceptionally bad customer service abilities. We had an excellent experience with Gem Movers. They showed up on time, worked hard and have it done fast. Marpreet and Satti were more easy to use and I’d suggest these guys everywhere. If and once we must move again, I shall telephone Gem Movers.

Should not even have a single celebrity. They had been 35 minutes late, they did not even know my title to request me in concierge. Within the time of those being overdue, my roomate and I transferred ALL OF MY FURNITURE down. When they came they walked around stunned although all of my move has been already set up for them. Roommate and I proceeded to transfer the things to the truck after which among those men was lost, once I asked where another man was,” was advised he had been in the bath (nice, he is individual but he had been gone over 20 minutes- actually paying for this guy to shoot a so **t ) known as the owner to organize deposit plus he shifted it in $150 to $200. Tony made up an explanation which I have to have spoken to a different employee about the deposit however, he has an extremely annoying ride voice which you won’t overlook. Argued it and said I’d pay the remainder once it is completed. Took about 15 minutes to me personally, 1 and roommate sluggish clueless Agency to load truck.the automobile has been a wreck. Moving blankets in packages all around the trunk I needed to move rearrange them. When we came to my place 20 minutes after they wanted extra cash. I stated I’d pay after unloaded. They shut the truck door together with all of my items inside needing to allow me to get in for my own possessions. Was going to phone law enforcement. . Tony called me yelling at me. Called me a bitc* along with also an idiot. I could not address these morons anymore therefore agreed to a different 70 since he did not need me to phone the authorities (attempted to control more if I did not threaten with authorities ) with this time it’d just bit more than a hour roommate and I did 95% of transfer AND I HAVE A BROKEN ANKLE. Their support was USELESS to people. We might have leased a truck rather since they hardly did anything apart from attempting to maintain getting more cash… Just discovered that they’re unlicensed. The movers actually do not understand how to load up a vehicle or move things. They aren’t trained movers. I’d paid 200 bucks for a purse to pay my own bed plus they ripped off it to transfer it in the room. Its all a scam, so I needed to send cash through internet banking in order that they wont cover taxes on it as well. It is not the movers error, they’re his puppets who had been getting calls every 2 minutes and advised to shut the truck doorway with my possessions inside. , proprietor Tony is a dirt bag. The dummy never accepted my name and could not even give it into concierge.There’s no way on God’s green earth that this man has five celebrities. Who speaks to customers like this? . Roommate needed to go meet him in man and set his brainless head through the walls. May report to BBB and CRA. What can I say about these men; nicely here is only a few matters. Showed up late, obstructed my bathroom (yes you heard that right, man requests to utilize to the restroom, cubes it, does not say anything, I needed to replenish myself), scratched my furniture, marked/chipped the walls, and best of all they chose upon delivery that they would bill me an EXTRA $350 in the agreed upon cost. AND they desired me to cover a portion of it in money so that they did not need to report it with their own boss and pocket the cash (yes if you are reading this Boss Man, your men are running a racket beneath you). Only a terrible, horrible support.

Also all of the 5 star reviews are full production from reports with just a couple of reviews. RUN AWAY, QUICKLY.

You’d be much better off getting a different inspector. It cost me a chance for a little move. Never again GEM.

Called the amount recorded under Hamilton 905-928-7080 and talked to Tony who delivered me a quotation for exactly what I needed. He added all of the prices so that there could be no openings dependent on the amount of hours that I stated I wanted. Two very competent men showed up about the day and approximate time scheduled. Arsh and Harpreet (not certain of this spelling) were clearly experienced and very good at packaging and moving a truck. They exceeded my personal expectations. Superior men, I’ll use them again. Because gentlemen.

I predicted gem on last moment. My prior movers dropped on me last moment. Rummy & his group proceeded were very professional & fast. They did fantastic job. Treated my things together with care and provided excellent support. I will certain utilize them in future.

They came late. . .billed me for it anyway. . .about 2 hrs late so thats 160 they desired for not even being present. . .refused to transfer the material till I paid the complete ampunt before time..ruined a 3000 dollar italian cupboard. . .never tarped the truck so that my white sofas got very dirty and the entire experience was so dreadful im telling all of you customers out there DO NOT USE G.E.M Movers! Utilize A NORMAL Firm! ITS WORTH THE Excess MONEY

Holy cow! What a dreadful experience. Make your self a favor: don’t even think about using this firm. In retrospect, we read all of the feedback again and we could simply state that we commonly agree with all the undesirable ones. Specifically, if the remark receives a response, whatever that comment says, clarifies an identical experience to the person we’d had. It’s a really terrible business. Stay away. 1) They appear on time, also make us sign a contract using a 150$ deposit. Showing up on time would be really a relief: 2 days ahead of the movement they called and informed us they had come the day until we’d agreed.

3) We agree to fit at the new location (roughly a twenty five minutes drive).
4) It requires them more than a hour to appear.
5) If they arrive, they state that we must cover them beforehand, using a quote they create on how long it will take. Their quote is more than what I anticipate, and that I say we would rather cover at the conclusion. An extremely unfriendly individual, who appears like the boss, who gets for their telephone, they move him to me, and also the gentleman begins crying. Considering all our items is on the vehicle, I concur and cover. They say they’ll pay back should they remain shorter than consented.

Gem movers are all exceptional movers, they all came punctually. They did a wonderful job, loading and packaging. Rammi and Sam did a fantastic job. They were quite helpful with all the materials, they build all of the furniture. Cost was fairly fair. They did not break anything. Keep it up men. Highly suggested.

Really not trusted, inconsiderate and unprofessional! Charged’double’ the quoted quote, required’CASH’ upon coming at delivery stage although it was previously agreed that we’d be charging it on a charge card. They guessed in precisely the same time and come back trip driving time, back to their organization and so were’greatly erroneous’. Could not back up the 16 feet van even though the parking place has been enormous and unobstructed. Both motorists required a stab at it and that they both required assistance in the apartment manager. No products were wrapped as guaranteed, walls and corridors were seriously marked up. Boxes of materials were laid upside down or backward. Try to settle this entire miserable moving encounter was discounted by GEM Moving. ‘NO REPLY’ straight back from GEM who say on their internet site that their duty is to provide outstanding, courteous and professional service together with the very best prices. Last week I hired GEM Movers to transfer our 3 bedrooms. Dispatcher on the telephone was quite helpful gave me excellent hints & hints for moving & packaging. On the afternoon of moving staff showed up in time. Properly wrapped Grand father clock & moved our upright piano with care. Men worked  continuously with no brakes. 2 strong men Manni & Dev did great job. I recommend them to everybody.

By the moment the movers arrived in the home the were requesting cash. They didn’t appreciate their distance on the vehicle and left boxes at the home that we needed to organize to proceed on our own moment. They also refused to get boxes out of any other degrees then the primary floor.   The truck wasn’t loaded safely as things were put around. As soon as they arrived at shipping destination they needed full payment or they wouldn’t unload the vehicle. After 45 mins of arguement they have the material from the truck. Last price was over charged and NOT what quoted either. They also were rude to my spouse and quite unprofessional. Can NOT recommend their service to anybody.

My family proceeded with Gem movers only a week past. They give us a excellent company that they were well trained and equipped. They did not broke anything and packaged everything nicely. I hired stone moving to the next time. I love their service very polite and professional movers. I had a fantastic experience. I called the man (I think his name was paul)  on last minute if other movers I reserved before didn’t reveal up.movers were good even they purchased coffe and cakes for me personally.  I strongly recommend their services to all friends and family members.

Last week, I transferred to new home with my loved ones. We hired stone movers to assist us .Two guys with truck arrived punctually in our place, they seem like a professionals that they didn’t squander their time and began their job very fast. They’re effective, they did their job extremely fast and precise. They packed our things and packed into truck in several hours and they didn’t broke something. Additional their prices were also inexpensive. They simply diminished our strain and transfer us safely. I’ll highly recommended them to the anxiety free moving.

BEWARE! Called them in the 416-854-6683 and talked to a guy called Nick who I presume is the person who books the appointments. He offered a cost of $70/hour for 2 guys and a truck to perform a transfer from a 2 bedroom flat into a 1 bedroom flat. We clearly asked if there weren’t any other penalties or anything else we ought to know but he said no that was it. When the movers came to our house on the moving day they said we had to cover a deposit of $300 that Nick hadn’t previously mentioned. BE SURE TO READ THEIR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN since it states that they charge for at least 4 hours and travel time for any movement and here is the sketchy part –“THE UNLOADING TIME WILL ESTIMATED BY THE LOADING PERIOD. “Fundamentally this is the area where they can control you because in my experience with the particular company they estimated that it might take 3 hours to float depending on the simple fact that it required us the amount of time to load. HOWEVER, they were being dishonest because in fact we began loading at 9AM and we ended loading at about 11:10 AM that’s just barely over 2 hours.

I SHOULD ALSO MENTION that the reason we ended loading is since we had been helping the movers take bags and boxes. The movers were taking their sweet time and when we hadn’t assisted it could have taken considerably longer!! Their quote following the loading and until the start of unloading has been 6 hours and the 1 hour traveling time fee (7 hours total). The quote should have been two hours loading and 2 hours unloading and the 1 hour traveling time that would equivalent to 5 hours NOT 7. Nobody had explicitly stated until the conclusion of the job once I questioned them, that it is irrelevant whether the job is completed in a shorter period, which you still have to cover what their quote was. When they transferred me that the task was finished at 4 and a half a week but due to their”quote” they ended up charging me for seven hours. That is not perfect. I feel as if I had been cheated due to the simple fact that they hadn’t clearly conveyed these little particulars before my booking together. The dishonesty and lack of attention on their part is exactly what troubles me.

What made matters worse is that they had ruined one of their dressers and covered it up by saying they’eliminated’ the toes and put them into one of those drawers. It was not until after we’d begun to move things around once they left that people understood they’d really broken it. There were also scratches and chips on lots of the wooden pieces of furniture we now have as a consequence of the”care.” When we phoned Nick to go over the fees he said we ought to call him back in 20 minutes since it was not a fantastic moment. When we called back him later that he said he’d look into it and return to us that HE NEVER DID.  HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
