    Long-distance move from Philadelphia, PA
    Philly to MD

Singe day proceed, 2 BR apartment. Showed up an hour following the bonded time. Launched with 3 men, but then one abandoned after loading the truck. They proceeded so slow to unload the truck that we needed to assist so we would not be there to the day.

2 bookshelves were broken (one man seeking to carry down things measures???) , and a tiny handmade vest was ruined (broken manage, damaged wood round screws) from falling off their truck.

They did not charge us over the quote, but it was still disappointing.

    Moving experience

Our movement was done with these men and we had been going from state heading into North Carolina to get a job move. We were skeptical at first but after the initial 1/2 hr of this movement we saw nothing but expertise out of Bill, Frank and Wess and Patrick the men moving us.Their experience in the beginning to the end was superb and over any earlier we’ve appear. I would highly recommend them and yes 5 Stars

    Move PA to MD

Arrived early. Worked really quick and productive. Assessing the truck as to guard our items carefully. The guys had good hand trucks and a good deal of expertise as we can see. They moved out everything and to our new place with no damaging a single wall and nothing else of ours has been ruined. We heard about those guys from a friend of those whom employed them earlier and we were thankful we hired them and would highly recommend them. 5 Stars is really low since these men should get 10 stars and we’d leave that when it had been possible. Do yourself a favor and take it out of us when you want moving assistance call these men.

A nightmare from beginning to end

Really late. A Great Deal of explanations. Inadequate training. Lousy gear (a metallic hand bath w no padding). Insufficient blankets and pads. Poorly packed truck. Damaged furniture. Scam approaches — could’t unload truck before complete payment made. (It is now 1 am in the morning — proceed was supposed to arrive at fresh location by 4pm. Filed claim for damages – no reply. No returned calls. 1 star is even too great for all these movers.

Do not hire eastern connection movers!

We’ve got a signed contract and paid a deposit for this particular business to move us now. They didn’t reveal nor did they phone us. We needed to phone and it was essentially an” oh well position”
Do yourself a massive favor and call somebody else.

    Highly recommend

Hired these men in a pinch to maneuver me as my companion forced me to move from PA to NJ to become closer to my job. These men were very professional and on time and they did the movement in 1 day. I saw these guys moving fast to receive my move done as they understood my partner had our two month old infant to put to bed. They began at 10 and have been finished my 3 bedroom town house move in 8 hours. I’d definitely and def use them again and highly recommend them. I’ve moved myself earlier but I understood that my friends all have jobs and moreover the business was paying for this particular movement. I’m great full that I hired the perfect team.

    TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL

Very similar to other reviews, we obtained a very low estimate that we really contested believing they did not know the reach of the move. When they said they just wanted one driver and one big van to get a studio move to NYC, we needed to convince the owner that we had another motorist. Finally, we contracted for one more motorist for an extra cost since we know that one person can’t drive, park, unload, move, and also finish the task in NYC. We must have stopped together now; nevertheless, I was confident they understood exactly what they were doing. The van/truck they attracted wasn’t large enough for the transfer (although we told them precisely the amount of boxes and what dimensions ). Therefore, when we moved down to the place where they had been still loading, then you can imagine our shock when lots of the boxes were now loaded in addition to the van, then covered with a tarp and a rope! When we said that is not exactly what we contracted for and that they would need to unload everything, they became really unprofessional and frankly, frightening. We couldn’t get in contact with the owner as he had been having some type of a”medical emergency” and could not take our calls, but we can hear him speaking to the movers concerning the circumstance. My husband had given them the money for the task when they came, so today it was time to receive our money back. Among the movers started counting back it and decided he was going to maintain some of it as a”professional fee”. It was only when my husband threatened to phone the authorities, that they returned all our money and abandoned. Obviously, we’ve never received any telephone call or any form of concern seeing out scenario. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

    Really bad experience

The more challenging experience you may imagine. These men broke my furniture, clogged my bathroom , took twice as much as I wanted, goofed off and played with my children soccer. DO NOT CALL THEM!! They’re terrible people, critically, I needed to undermine law enforcement on them. Don’t rely on them, don’t phone them, horrible. Broke my sofa, my childerns furnature, my mattress. They were overdue and maintained they have lost on shipping. They’re crooks.

    Great local move

Hired these men to transfer us into our new home for a local movement. Their look was excellent in uniform and even thou they had been ancient that our movement was quite satisfactory and that I and my partner could use them again. I work for a significant medical insurance carrier and each facet of my transfer was as promised. They did my transfer at a two day interval and didnot bill out my the wazoo. The first evening was that the packaging service and the following day was that the pickup and delivery. I transferred from Chalfont into Harrisburg. The owner of the firm a Steddon Strouse came together with his men to manage my movement personally since even thou I had been paying for the movement initially my employer might reinburse me.   Mr. Strouse was were transparent and I adored that.
On the rescue my brand new road was thin but the motorist Ted Neuman navigated the massive truck and trailer directly in front of the brand new home. By the end by that was a very long day that I steered them and thanked them.   I’ve been motivated by several firms before but these men did the work right from begin to finish without any flaws or flaws. I’d cerrtainly suggest them.

    Never delivered our furniture....

Our planned delivery was Sept. 8th.  Mike told us that the whole month of sept. his trailer required to be reconstructed and he could just employ a one-piece store mechanic.   He wouldn’t offer a new shipping date.   In October 2014 he advised us that the trailer was mended and they woudl leave Philly to return to Florida.     We heard that the trailer had a flat tire in North Carolina and we never heard from them again.  It’s not October 15th. The whole contents of my home have gone missing and are sitting on a truck someplace someplace.  We’ve already been excues all month and today Mike won’t return emails, text or voicemails.     This site shouldn’t urge him as a professional seller.

    Early arrival

Hired the enterprise to move us. They came Historical and understanding which it had been goig for a sexy one that the day of the movement. The guys really attentive and amazing to use and we’re grateful that we hired them to proceed us. The nove was completed within seven hours & just as called by the salesman Jim. Would use them again. We’ve been moved ahead and have been hurt the past using the slowness of some other firm whom I do not need to mention but those men placed confidence back in us when hiring a plumber if we opt to proceed again. Each single blanket onto the truck was clean and new all of guys in uniforms and extremley cautious.  5 celebrities yes and when can give more I’d. Don’t hesitate to contact me TED anytime by email in relation to those men.

    Not Recommended - Residential Move

NOT RECOMMENDED — Thus I hired this firm to perform a residential relocation. Mike came out and appeared and gave me a quote of $1,500.00 total time 12 hours. This is a very low ball bid to find the job. It was suppose to be performed on Sunday and unloaded Monday. The load wasn’t finish untl monday afternoon. Mike stated he’d be back between 9-9:30. Did not reveal until later 11. Screwed up closure. The unload wasn’t finished Monday but instead 3:40 am Tuesday. Overall time 27 hours at a price of a little over $3,400.00 to get a whole period of 27 hours. Pieces of exercise gear missing – not able to be utilized nowl!! They didn’t wish to move the washer and drier to next floor. He said he’d return on Wed to finish. Nope didn’t reveal. Called thursday with all type of explanations. Throughout the unload all I discovered was this really is a large undertaking. Its a 2300 square foot home – indeed. That is big!! He’d want another truck (budget leasing he stated he had a truck back in the lawn ) and it had been stuffed. Also towards the end of the transfer boxes clearly indicated for particular rooms in the home were only off loaded into the nearest area that being the basement or garage storage. Last week we discovered our fine china at a box in the garage obviously indicated for your dining table room.So how can you maintain the company for so long, call yourself a skilled and be off in your quote by over 130%. Its one of 2 things: either gross incompetence or even a scam!!! Quite honestly not sure it actually matters.

    Very satisfied customer :)

Eastern relationship movers thank god I’ve hired those men. Other companies have been hoping to control the wazoo and that I simply couldnt manage it being on a fixed income. The business owner knew my position and worked with me. He gave me several discounts along with the movers were quite enlightening and beneficial. The disassembled and reassembled everything in a timely fashion and were also very thoughtful of my funding. All I will say is excellent relocation and a very simple experience. Thank you blossom relationship.

    Unprofessional moving company

I would strongly warn you to not seek the services of this provider. . .unprofessional is a gentle characterization of the outfit. 1. They did not appear on the scheduled move date. After two hours of trying to get hold of them without success that they called to say that they ran over on the preceding job in a different country and offered to transfer me on the subsequent day. The following day they came 1.5 hours late. The reason given to be late – among the movers resides much away/had to travel a long distance. 2. They forgot that they were supposed to pack us and had to visit the closest Home Depot to purchase packaging supplies which postponed things yet another 1.5 hours.  We supplied our own packaging stuff in the meantime to 1 plumber and packaged together with him @ 1/4-1/3 of those boxes while awaiting another two movers to reunite from Home Depot. From there it required them 14.5 hours to pack and load my 2100 sq feet house on the truck.  3. The truck was not big enough for our said endeavor which included picking up things we’d in a local storage facility- however it did not matter because they did not leave my home before 1:30 in the afternoon along with also the storage facility was no longer available at the moment.  4. They shut the truck and were going to depart when I cried out to them that there had been many things left in the home which they did not get (two TVs, 3 wrapped rugs, etc) – that the things hardly fit in the overly little toilet.  5. Due to the late hour, we agreed to postpone unloading at my new home until the next morning (now two days after our scheduled transfer date). They came over an hour late. It took them more than 8 hours to unload the vehicle. 6. They eliminated and packaged my Italian chandelier out of my previous house but they could not hang it in my new house since they did not spare the screws! 7. The clothing they packaged were a wreck once I proceeded to unpack them. 8. Among those movers spent a fantastic deal of time on the telephone organizing different tasks because of his firm throughout the course of the move. 9. Among those movers kept getting phone calls on a birthday celebration he was overdue for and he looked resentful that he had been there in my transfer. Seriously? 2 days later I had been hoping to be transferred in? I had been the person who had the right to become resentful.  UNPROFESSIONAL all around. I’d have experienced a smoother experience when I’d gotten my brothers to move me. They discounted the cost but I’d have been happy to pay more to proceed two days ahead of efficacy.

    Bad experience

Had a horrible experience with those movers. My movement needed to be bumped per day since They ran over about the movement prior to mine.   I discovered that the transfer task after mine also had to be postponed a day as they were late with mine. They have been unbelievably unprofessional – overdue, slow, improper attitudes. Wish I’d researched them carefully prior to selecting them.

    Eastern Connection Movers -- bad

I thought these guys might be good since they had some great reviews everywhere, but they broke and dropped a Lot of our things and also have steadfastedly refused to cover any of it, Though we bought complete insurance coverage through them.   Additionally, the just crammed all of my suits and ties into a giant box with no hanging them, as I had hoped they would.   When the clothing came out they had been horribly wrinkled.   Initially they had been searching for all the issues and advised me to submit a form using photos.   I did, however, they kept sending me fresh forms to Complete.   Eventually I got the stage –they are not likely to cover. Another big issue was timeliness.   They waited to Begin unpacking until late in the day and then had to remain before midnight to finish the job.   The neighbors were angry and my children were exhuasted.   Laster I understood they did this intentionally so that I’d be too exhausted to observe each of the missing things and harm they did. On a Last note, I paid them to haul away All of the garbage, but discovered that the following morning they’d dumped it all in the basement of the apartment building.   The super wasn’t impressed. I enjoyed there trucks along with the cleaness. I’d definitely recommend them to anybody. Good job men and the cost was just what I meant to payfor. B Weaver.

I had the joy to perform with all the movers out of Eastern Connection movers this past summer. I discovered that they were all professional, on time and quite great communicators. They advised me of what had been occurring each step along the way and called me to their site to receive decent packaging directions for electronic equipment too.  Because of Eastern for an extremely good shifting encounter.

    Local move Philadelphia area

My partner hired Eastern connection exemptions to transfer our family things fom Blue Bell PA into East Falls PA around 2/10/11. The Crew arrive at 9:30 in the morning on time of the period window advent. The men laid down carpet runners as advertisied in their internet site” Gold Seal” Guarantee. They started to load the vehicle. IO had just one concern which has been about an aged classic glass cupboard we had from the corner at our living room. These men moved it so precisely and with wonderful care. They completed loading and then led into our new house a row home. We needed to go because we needed to find a great deal closer to our tasks because we operate in center city Philadelphia. The motorist drove the huge truck down our very narrow road. The team unloaded and it required only a bit longer then anticipated nevertheless, that has been anticipated due to the way our row house is set out using narrow halls and quite narrow actions along with also the tight landings. The team got done and I have to say a ideal move. My partner were thru at least 12 Eastern and moves Connection Movers staff was the very best experience we’ve ever had.

I Thomas along with my partner would surely use them again. THEY would be the Absolute BEST just as Philadelphia Magazine Explained!

    Sincerly,

    Thomas Haller

    DO NOT HIRE

Eastern Connection Carpets are, definitely, the worst moving business ever. I’ve moved several times from the Philadelphia region – flat, home, town, home – and this was, definitely, the worst transfer I’ve ever experienced.

I hired Eastern Link Tutorials about the potency of the”Best of Philly” certification. Do not believe the hype.

First off, they showed up 1.5 hours late. Reason – it had been chilly. Really? It is too chilly to go to work? I will have to test it. That is Philadelphia and we’ve got winter – functioning from the chilly will be par for the class!!! When they eventually got to my flat at Plymouth Meeting, everything appeared to the up and up. . .at first. They did a fantastic job of having my furniture (that, incidentally, was restricted to a pair of bedroom furniture, even a little glass curio, a little desk and a chair; the majority of my transfer was boxes I had packaged myself) from the flat, however loading it on the toilet shot 5 hours. FIVE HOURS. You’d think that using 5 hours spent loading a vehicle, what could be wrapped and fastened, no harm to anything, correct? WRONG! When they eventually arrived in my new home at Philadelphia, it had been just one disaster after the second. My TV was scraped and cracked, each piece of furniture needed a nick or dent of some type, and that which had not been ruined on the truck that the movers were able to hurt bringing up the staircase. They banged my furniture to the walls, then scratched my hardwood flooring, and monitored dirt and sand everywhere. There was rock salt in one of those drawers into my nightstand. How Can ROCK SALT GET in the DRAWER?!? They attempted to explain that there was salt to the floor (duh…) and that some need to have gotten to the blankets that they had to wrap my own furniture. Again, possibly, as this is exactly the Northeast and it will snow here from time to time, perhaps your guys would shake the blankets out prior to using these to wrap furniture. Only a thought.

Then there was the issue of this light fixture on my ceiling which has been broken, glass washed up and hidden. I didn’t even detect this harm until the following day, once I happened to look up and watch that the huge bit of lost glass.

However, the icing on the cake was once one of those movers believed it was acceptable to call me”love”. Adding insult to injury was when management in Eastern Connection attempted to excuse his own unprofessional behaviour by stating that he was in the South and that is the way the refer to individuals.

This entire debacle took 12 hours, cost me close to $1,000 and I am currently getting the run around using all the insurance coverage I filed to pay the damages to my residence and home. This moving company is dishonest, unprofessional and unreliable. Do not even consider using this business – they’re the WORST.
