Long-distance move from New York, NY
    Mis-accuracy of cost and fees

I am moving long-distance to NC from NY. The price quickly added up and there were lots of hidden charges. Space filled up fast and the truth of my possessions to distance storage has been far off. I needed to leave behind several items just not to go on budget, talking of funding… I had been quoted a quote of about $1600, it was a total of $3100 at the time that they had been completed. I believe bamboozled. The sole reason why I’m giving it two stars is due to the employees.

    ASTOUNDING SERVICE- FELT VIP

NYC- to Providence RI using a halt in BOSTON

I had a neighborhood but important transfer, together with 2 pickups and two delivery of big and little furniture in addition to lamps, boxes, shelves, bedding, etc., all over NYC. The East Coast group – Zack S, Mitchell l and Danny l were all totally competent, comprehensive, insightful, courteous, attentive and exceptionally professional. They arrived first, completely ready with more resources, supplies and equipment than the work really needed, and understood exactly the ideal approach to package each product. They also cleaned up completely after every stop. I would ask all of them again in a heartbeat, and will advise them as highly as I would like to anyone who requests.

We cant wait to go to Florida next year along with its so worry-some understanding I have a mover currently intended – which is honest costed- not likely to inform me desire I and also to listen and actually treats my possessions like were his very own and you’ll be able to tell from how that they work. There WERE NO MONEY OR NEGOTIATION GAMES- (needed a preceding going nightmare years back )

EAST COAST has got my respect in addition to my commitment, to this point at which I don’t have any interest or want to research any other movers again! (Thanks for this!) And Zack since the group Foreman, excels in everything he can – like his own courtesy, respect and professionalism in handling his own team in addition to his clients. He’s a complete joy to use. The business’s”CAN DO” attitude reveals during the job these guys performed. Moreover, Hector, in Revenue, was exceptionally useful, as was IRENE WAS AMAZING FROM LOGISTICS AND COMMUNICATION ASPECT. In Client Success, particularly in supplying the COI as necessary.

I suggest East Coast Moving equates to anybody needing such services.

You will be sorry if you use them

Horrible The definition of a shady business. .Booked a transfer in NY to Florida .Price nearly doubled if they arrived to move us from our flat and storage space (garage in complex.) . I must take some blame like this because the quotation has been performed over the telephone but nevertheless was intense.
Needed to be outside at the next 24 hours so did not have a lot of selection. . Then in the close of the day somehow they lost the reception that recorded everything packed on the truck however, the office will get me a backup if they .find it (Never occurred ). So now comes the authentic good role, what they don’t tell you is that .your home is pushed into a warehouse along with other firm’s bidding on bringing to a house..So I receive a telephone call from that which I presumed was East Coast (but isn’t ) stating they have to get paid the rest of the fee until they will unload the vehicle. When they appear that’s if I meet them for the very first time and discover they’re a moving business. 2 men that only endured from Texas (just how the hell did my things wind up in Texas? ) ) They also advised me that the spouse had phoned in sick so that it was only the two of these and they tried simply dumping off everything at the Toilet. Told them I paid to be transferred in my home never my own garage and they did it although not pleased about it. Needles to say after unpacking things weren’t only damaged but also plenty missing. Called to whine but imagine what with no bill of concealed revealing what had been loaded on the vehicle, difficult to establish exactly what was missing. When I called to complain about the two individuals who showed up to perform the delivery that they can care less
Don’t rely on them to your relocation, they’re horrible and you’ll be sorry.

    Worst experience ever!!!!!

Quotation sum equates to nearly $5000 over the afternoon of transfer when my possessions were nearly all loaded on the vehicle. Shipping was in two trucks, none and three times apart. Still missing lots of my items like an image of my sister, my niece and myself holding my Mother’ s hands the evening until she died along with a Sylvania TV along with other items. Very shoddy functioning. Weekly after closing shipping, Irene nevertheless didn’t have the last paperwork in the motorist. They can not appear to find my lost things. I wouldn’t ever suggest this outfit! I’d give it no stars if I am!

    Be Aware

Be conscious of the Business, they’re true scammers. A salesman came to my flat to give me a quote,I showed him where the truck needs to park,in which the elevator was found and everything I had been going, he also explained that his men would possess particular crates to package my TV’s , glass dining table and pictures. They arrived with nothing but tape and blankets. They used all my gear, cardboard mum’s, bubble wrap Etc.He gave me a quote of 3500.00 after they’d all my boxes and furniture in their leased truck they introduced me with a bill for 6387.00, which I had no option but to cover. I must have been suspicious if they wouldn’t take a charge card once they picked up my furniture that they wanted money or a check. When I questioned the difference from the cost I had been told that the salesman made a mistake, which I didn’t think. Please see that this business as they’re authentic scammers.

    Moving

This is actually the worst business. You’re employing them at your own risk. They draw you in with a minimal cost for transferring and hit you with the true price as soon as your things are all loaded up. They broke my two TV, scratched the furniture. I had a good deal of lost things.
Do your self a favor. You do not want the hassle!

    Love the organization

They’re steps ahead of these occasionally. Next couple measures are planned beforehand. Pack boxes within this region. Color code them depending on the area of the space and space the boxes are inside. Proceed to the component of the truck. They even seemed to design which boxes moves on a specific portion of the vehicle. Very nicely organized. They made us to Lexington, Kentucky without any difficulty despite visitors and a few detours but that is about it. They did a complete service occupation. No battle. Even helped a little extra too.

    Scams You before Unloading

I hired East Coast Movers to transfer part of my house in CT to NJ. I was quoted about $1600 to transfer the products. The day of the transfer I chose to not take all of the things I listed on the stock online questionnaire (for example, a bookshelf, back, etc.). The movers came on time, and were considerate. Things seemed ok before the inspector said we’d double the number of things and increased the cost over $1000 to a total of 2900!!!! For approximately one hour in my delivery website we moved over the amount of things. He explained there was 96 bits. We counted out of his chosen inventory checklist. The maximum amount 55 pieces complete (such as boxes). He was clearly lying about the amount of pieces taken along with the cubic feet. Then they pretended to offer me a”reduction” by charging $200 less, that is still nearly $800 over the quoted cost. . .in money of course. The only reason I gave up about the matter is because my baby that I had in my arms the entire time was tired and hot by this. I would never recommend this business since they’re SCAMMERS! They’ll estimate a lower cost and then increase it once all of your things are already packaged. Then pretend to generate an alteration. Allow me to repeat that I chose NOT to take each one of the things listed. There was no way my bits or cubic feet was almost twice the amount. And that has been demonstrated after we moved over the stock. There was no apology for it. I feel badly because of its clients that duped who did not realize it. I discovered them on thumbtack. Don’t trust them along with your possessions. Pick anyone else! They’re dishonest scammers!

    Spectacular!

They have really done better than my final movement. Last business has dropped a little box of resources but this one appears to be nicely organized to what is in whatever area. This is a transfer to Panola, Georgia using a below average moving speed!

    Excellent service

HIGHLY RECOMMEND- We proceeded to August 3rd, we proceeded Bridgewater NJ, to myrtle beach SC together with ECM/ panoramic shore moving supplied packaging of the kitchen products, different decorative pieces, furniture and paintings, in addition to furniture disassembly and assembly.
I paid exactly what was in my quotation (and tips for your moving team ). The moving team of Zafa, both Victor and Alex gentleman were considerate, hardworking and educated. Everything came great state and they put the furniture at our new home where we asked them to, and reassembled everything and even took out the garbage. It took them till 10PM to have it all done – good job! Great general support. Stacy was fast to react and always answered the telephone. The men that came were rapid, effective, and hard working. Obtaining a flat charge and understanding what you’re becoming was well worth the bit of mind in comparison with this bait and switch businesses. Can refer you to all of my Family and Friends thank you East Coast

    Deceitful business practice

Contrary to the reviews listed here, I had a very different experience. The initial cost was quoted as $1787 to maneuver a 1 bedroom flat from Queens, NY to the Hudson Valley, about two hours off (due to traffic). Following the truck was packaged, the foreman told me that the distance that the furniture could take up was double what was anticipated and charged me twice the initial quotation! I needed to pay $1000 money for them until they left Queens, and yet another $2126 after they bought my furniture. I really don’t blame the team, I blame the business for an extremely unfair business practice. I see another costs charged for a brief move of a single bedroom, and I see that they are near what I had been quoted. I bet nobody can envision with their furniture held hostage unless twice the quoted amount is paid. It’s unconscionable and I am still attempting to find some cash refunded according to this deceptive, dishonest business practice.
Additionally, the team broke a window in my home and now I will need to pay $200 to repair the window. I’m beyond disgusted.

    FAST/HONEST/DELIVERY 2 days - HAPPY

    ECM were excellent movers.
With all the horror stories I read I was a bit taken back and did not know who to trust. Fantastic support. Best priced transfer! I am moving for my occupation since they wanted me to relocate. I’d look around and contrasted around distinct quotations, some had reductions for first-time clients. This one provided a good quote. We have the visual inspector to test everything out. As it is a 1 bedroom flat move I did not think that it would not be a lot Springfield, Massachusetts into Plantation, Florida and the procedure was easy and easy. After what was done, I contrasted the last quote that we got and I think that it’s fine that it somehow did not change and that is a plus. The movers are fine and they were not fooling around or mess up anything. A fantastic move!

    HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!

Showed up 2.5 hours late to my flat. Before scheduling the movement I advised them that I want to book an elevator. I reserved 1-4 pm to be on the secure side. It’s currently 4:44pm and they’re not here! I named the driver and that he stated that he was not advised! In addition, he advised me he quit for supper and that his ETA is just 1 hour!! And they’re currently charging me over $300 more out of their first quotation! DO NOT USE!!!!! I wish I can offer them 0 stars!!!!!

    WOW- AMAZED- GREAT HONEST MOVERS

When I transferred from NY/ LI into FL I had a Whole Lot of glass things. I had been quite worried that my things would be broken. Lucky to me after a great deal of research I picked iMove to manage my movement and could not be more happy with the results. My things were bubble wrapped, crated and they still put padded blankets in addition to my things for additional security of my things. They came without even a scratch on whatever. The items belonged to my grandma so there’s a great deal of sentimental value. Thanks for iMove for fixing my things with this much attention and respect.

Inspired by and packed everything really nicely. They had been so careful nothing got ruined. I am surprised that the quotation did not change. Excellent work!
