Initially hired this mover since they got us back immediately and”looked” to understand what they were doing, WOW were we wrong! We sent each of the specs for the couple pieces of furniture (a bed, bedframe, two nightstands. A long necklace, a”highboy” dresser, a couch and a loveseat – that they even called it a minimum movement ) including weight and all dimensions of their furniture. “Mike” the salesman corrected our invoice to reflect a heftier sofa (electrical recliner)and ensured us that the”quote” would be precise. WRONG! First off once they called the evening before they’d not scheduled us for a shipping to our new house (what would they believe they’re going to perform with our furniture?) . We got that straightened out after the afternoon of the movement they smacked the cut the exterior of the home and took out a chunk of it. Once they got the truck loaded they advised us that the load has been TWICE the size that the salesman had recorded and wanted to charge us double what the quote was. They also said that there was a $200 gas fee plus a $65 fee for masking the furniture – some thing that the salesman didn’t cite or include in the quote. We argued back and forth until they really lowered the new cost by a small volume. We still ended up paying nearly $600 more then the agreed upon cost but when you’ve got all of your furniture at the truck along with a renter going to occupy the older place it backs you into a corner! After the movers had unloaded the vehicle and left we found a tear from the nearly brand new mattress. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Nothing but bait and switch – off awful business!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They broke that the only things that they sent, dropped over 50 percent. Took 56 times to send!!! Charged triple! They hang me up, will not take assert!!! AWFUL !!! Combine Facebook group”east coast movers are all scammers!” If you really did employ this provider! Victims are merging for litigation today!!!

I phoned on 5/30 to affirm my transfer date of 5/31 and also to be certain everything was great.
They promised I stated 6/30 and couldn’t get anybody to help mepersonally, however, also the alleged sales rep stated he’d call me. He never did.

Plus they needed an additional 4000 reason they didn’t let enough space on the vehicle once I explained I didn’t have that much and they said we could take have your things that is a refusal and then your deposit turned into theirs. They were days late then wanted to charge me twice the price but I’m in the incorrect. Yes the 800 they obtained for my deposit incorrect. Please do not use them that they will take your money and run. I registered charges against them may not see my cash but hope it saves somebody from doing exactly the exact same thing expecting folks to do the job they were paid to perform. They obtained one star trigger there was nothing much lower I could pick from. Folks remember beware.

I can not say enough great things about my latest movement using East Coast Movers. The care taken with my possessions was phenomenal. Every piece of furniture has been carefully wrapped and delivered in pristine condition. The loading and loading crew was very professional and considerate. East Coast Movers has been able to take a possibly large stress event and turn it into a stroll at the park. Great job!!
