It’s been nearly a complete year and that I still can not believe these folks remain in business. I am also still wondering where my seat is. We had been scheduled to get our stock done and the individual didnt even show. No telephone. No apology. Only didnt show. We were subsequently advised that our objects are in storage for a week or 2 after packaging. We corrected our plans to adapt. After they demonstrated ( a day late) they stated that it would just have a day to package and that they would send the following moment. This is all news to us! For a local transfer we had been enthused. This was before we saw the way they’d packed our items. Our images off the walls were simply thrown into a box. Not wrapped (yes glass frames only chunked). I found shoes which were all in 1 place divided between pubs. The sum of balled up newspaper (I am assuming so that they can find the maximum $$ by adding weight into the boxes) has been rediculous! As soon as I watched them bringing our our antique chairs I noticed they had been scuffed to the sides. This was obviously in the transfer along with them not wrap them but just shoving them where they believed they might tetris them at the vehicle. I insisted that they repair or compensate. The principal man said he had an excellent woodworker and might get it repaired and would personally deliver it straight back to us. This was the end of June 2018… I still am waiting for this seat. He never contacted us and wouldn’t return calls. In addition they whined on the paperwork filed to fund and travel. They never weighed our burden. They simply”relied square footage” and”projected” poundage. Obviously we fought it and didnt need to pay out of pocket to get any perceived overage. The entire scenario was a dreadful situation with a number of things being busted and leaving me a psychological mess for the way our items were handled. I know you’ve got to be coordinated when somebody else is transferring your things, but pulling photos from the walls (a few were children art ) and simply throwing it into a crumpled heap beneath thick things made me mad and I felt as though it had been pure apology and carlessness. We made certain to care for the adoring team with an infinite supply of lunch, coffee, water, and Gatorade. We even took private orders to get a rush to Dunkin to make certain they felt valued and steered one man at the start. To top it off, then they didnt even wrap the petroleum lamp with kerosene inside and it leaked all on the different things in the box. Only a dreadful experience all over.
The business seemed professional. The customer service movers and lady seemed fine. They came as intended. But when things go wrong they do not bother even to answer. They broke my budha statue and ruined the bottom of my bar stool, which makes it unsuitable for use. They did not care for apologizing or compensating for the harm. I received no response of any type. There’s absolutely no point to proceed with a business that is going to break your belongings and take no responsibility for this.
I used Eagle Van Lines for a military movement abroad. My shipment is just two months overdue and counting. There’s but 1 man who manages military motions, and nobody else in the business may assist. He and everybody else there guaranteed to look in the wait and email the particulars. Nothing. The few times that they do answer the phone, they simply give you the runaround. The man has told me twice that my shipment had arrived at the region, just to learn it’s been sent to the WRONG COUNTRY!!!!
Don’t use these idiots for whatever. There’s simply no responsibility.
We’re a State Department household, so have proceeded using quite a few businesses. This was undoubtedly the worst. Eagle managed our storage dispatch. Their packaging service was very unprofessional. They did not wrap most things, simply threw them into boxes. I discovered a desk at a 4.5 cubic meter box (in bits ); I discovered other bits of the desk wrapped up in various locations. Among my favorite rugs was balled up and jammed at the base of some other box. (Not wrapped, balled.)
On delivery, the dispatcher forgot to program our 9000 pound shipment delivery for if returned from abroad (and did not answer our or our travel techs emails confirming the time–therefore most people still believed we had been scheduled for this time and date ). Since it was a State Department contract, she finally rescheduled for the identical day, allegedly between 1 and 2 pm. In 3:00 they stated they’d be there in 30 minutes. They eventually showed up at 4:00. Unloading took some time. They did not put down anything to safeguard our hardwood flooring, and we needed to tell them to not slip heavy tables across it. They were assumed to reassemble all of the furniture that they took aside, but as the evening wore on, they were obviously tired. Just 1 mover continued to operate, and he occasionally looked in his relaxing coworkers and shook his head and stated,”idle!” We finally just reassembled the bed ourselves.
Scheduled to arrive involving 1-3pm, called me at 3:30 to state they’d be an hour more and in lieu of an apology advised me to”just take it easy”. Quotation was 396 according to exact itemized listing for three movers for $100 an hour. Took their time loading the truck (three hours to get a 1 bedroom nyc size flat ) and then refused to unload the truck before we paid $1135, insisting we had been underquoted (not my issue ) and that they were 100 per hour per individual (Cleary not true per contract). They re-taped over all of my already taped boxes and billed $137 because of that. Additionally, contract said the balance of charges (I paid $100 up front) could be placed on a credit card but refused anything but money or would continue to keep our possessions. Several valuable things were broken up with their lack of attention and they were as rude as they were not slow. I’ll be reporting them to the BBB.
Might it be feasible to be rated a 10? Yes, Eagle Van Lines gets a 10 for its transfer they managed for me on March 26, 2014 in Floral Park, NY into Danbury, CT.. Three guys arrived punctually, proceeded beds, dressers, boxes, tables, seats and cartons of family things all within one hour! This is out of a 30th floor flat! Then they drove 1 1/2 hours to Danbury, CT into a storage facility along with uinloaded that which in 20 minutes. The movers are courteous, friendly, effective, well mannered, well presented and a real pleasure to use, Is it feasible to be rated a 10? YES, even if You’re Eagle Van Lines and also You’re at Eli’s capable hands!
My items have been picked up by NYC on May 22, 2013 to be sent by June 19th at Chicago. I had been uncomfortable about the deal saying”around 14 days” later date Offered to them since I’m starting work in a hospital for a resident, and also will be Not Able to Get my buys during routine business hours after work begins. I had been confident that I would get my things on time, which the date range has been Just a formality. Not only contains Eagle Van Lines neglected to give me an ETA in my boxes, however they refuse to pickup or answer telephone calls so as to effectively convey the reasons behind the delay. So Far as I know, within a month after, my things are still at a warehouse at NYC. When my telephone calls have been picked up, I have been assured by several people that my boxes could be loaded on the truck the next day. Seeing as how no one has ever called me to schedule a delivery period, I’m beginning to get increasingly more confident I won’t be seeing my things till July. I would not recommend these movers in Any Respect. They May be priced somewhat better than most other businesses, however their lack of professionalism and discount to their own spouses make them incredibly stressful to utilize.
We’re a military family members and have been scheduled to get a questionnaire two business days prior to our move date. Even the surveyor,”John”, known as us one hour before our appointment to notify us he had a flat tire and could be a overdue. He predicted two and a half an hour later to inform us he had been on his way and could be in our home at 15 minutes. Ten minutes after, the dispatcher out of Eagle Van Lines known to inform us they’d need to reschedule our poll as well as also our move day and could call us backagain. 2 hours later, we receive the email from JPPSO saying they shifted our movers into a different moving firm and our transfer dates would shift. I spoke to this Eagle Van Lines dispatcher,”Tracy”, once we’ve got the email and she informed me that the surveyor never known to notify them he had a flat and had been running behind on his own appointments. They left the decision to cancel our appointment, even in Spite of the Fact that he was moments from our home, so the surveyor will restart his appointment program in Time. She was Not Able to send a different surveyor to our house the Identical day due to”issues with Various crews and Many cancellations”. She did manage herself professionally and whined, but I Wouldn’t advocate this moving business because of their lack of inner communication and inability to successfully accommodate their employees to Give appointment coverage. This was really tumultuous especially because we sold our home and were really on a tight movement program. Highly disappointed in this organization rather than worthy of a government deal backed by taxpayer bucks in my personal opinion.
We had been sending a semi flat in the East to West Coast. The movement itself was simple, however, the timing has been complex. We wanted the movers to come fast, then hold the things in storage, then send in a Really narrow window. They had the ability to do so flawlessly.
The team was very considerate on the two ends. They arrived, left, and delivered when promised. Everything arrived in very Good Shape. They were useful in taking down and putting up required furniture pieces. On the two ends, they had been in our home for about 2-3 hours. They wrapped each piece of furniture from protective fabric, provided us with a few extra boxes (clothing boxes, etc). The cost for additional supplies was rather fair.
The first quote was roughly $1750. We had been billed an additional fee in the delivery end, since the steet was too narrow to recieve the broad moving van. We had been told beforehand that this cost could occur.
We packed many things ourselves beforehand, so the movement was mainly boxes and furniture. We didn’t have lots of delicate products.
I’d certainly use the business again, and would recommend them to anyone w/ related demands.
I phoned Eagle van lines to obtain an estimate, not like the rest of the movers I phoned before them, that only took a listing of things and also gave me a quotation over the phone. The man I talked to Hector did ask me some questions however the moment I told him why I had a two bedroom apt he advised me it’d be easier to send somebody outside to my location to check at it all so as I could find an accurate quotation. (I enjoyed this man!!) He put up an inhouse trip for a couple of days afterwards and Eli arrived to meet with me and my spouse He even gave me a few pointers on packaging a few of my items economical!! (I love this man too!!) He offered me a fair price and guaranteed satisfaction. On move day that the men they delivered were really kind and filled with energy! They did an excellent job and as soon as the invoice came?? Surprise!! Surprise!! Not a cent more than the quote!! Wow I really enjoy these men!! I had been so pleased to see that my grandfather clock tic toc-ing in my new location in Florida!!! What a relief, so my Dad gave me this clock could he rest at peace! So I would strongly recommend eagle van outlines that they did a really amazing job for us and also a great deal of people I have read on here say exactly the same so it’s accurate Eagle van lines would be the ones to predict!!
I’m quite delighted with this moving business, Eagle Van Lines, Moving and storage, also in Jersey city, NJ. Everything was great. The director of this firm came into my house and gave me a quotation to its proceeding, also explained to me all of the details and gave me the exact appropriate papers. The movers that arrived to some APT on 2/2/2011 from North Bergen, NJ., to load my own things proved quite great, and extremely professional. I’m quite pleased with their job. Really I didn’t expect as much attention they gave in packaging my furniture, plus they had been carefull in tackling my boxes. I transferred everything out of my house in NJ on PA.. The delivery men who arrived to Monroeville, PA also were quite nice and professional. They organized and constructed all of the furniture correctly. The delivery and loading has been quite punctual as we all talked about. Nothing was hurt or lost in transport. I always remember that experience with joy. Thanking you.
