I utilized DMV Moving and Storage Inc. for the Regional transfer from Fredericksburg to Stafford, VA..   The Business lent me a price of $485.00, gave me a 5 percent reduction for scheduling online and gave me another 5 percent reduction for being a veteran.   They also gave me a elastic shift date so when I had some problems with my transfer date I could alter it with no punishment, which I’d need to change it once.   The movers were overdue but maybe not by any fault of theirs they struck the 95S visitors (building ).   The Business was great however they phoned me to let me understand that they had been things in visitors and apologized.   Once they got to my home they requested about transferring my furniture and the way they could wrap up it to Guarantee nothing could get hurt but that it would be additional.   I obviously opted to cover the extra to get my fine furniture cared for.   I’ve Lots of nice big heavy furniture and unlike my final move in which the movers had scraped up my stuff I needed it done right this time.   I ended up paying $1250 for your Whole movement and it was well worth it for 2 hours of transferring time and that I did not have to worry about something.   I had been super surprise to find out that they had focused all of my furniture around the walls in my house.   I did not think that they would have done that and that I can not thank them enough for all their hard work and work done.   I’m disappointed that I didn’t have more cash to trick them with.   If I needed to move again I’d definitely use this business Once More.   Very Delighted Client, Thanks Teresa

Because of completing an Internet look for movers, I received a call in DMV movers in Rockville.   The very first caller (Freddie) listened to what I needed to move and lent me a price of 375.00.   He said He’d send three guys and a truck and they might move me in 4 hours.   Later that afternoon I received a call from a different sales person with DMV.   Before understanding I’d already gotten a quotation from them, I advised this salesperson exactly what I’d.   I worried that I had a Great Deal of things and really requested a larger truck when he offered to ship a 24 ft. truck.   He promised me that He’d send a few of his finest guys who could move me in 7 hours for 650.00.   I enjoyed his sales pitch, so I decided to go together.   Recognizing that a quote Isn’t written in stone, I went into the bank and obtained sufficient cash to pay 5 additional hours (over the projected seven hours).   15 hours later, the movement Wasn’t finished.   I had been told that I had to pay them until They’d take the last of my belongings from the truck.   I advised them that I’d been advised by the sales man that payment had been made just after the job has been finished.   After a long debate with the supervisor on the telephone, I advised them to depart and that I would talk with my attorney.   It’s now 10:00 at nighttime. The following day I talked with the owner of the Company and that I told her I had been quite upset because I believed their quote was unethical and had didn’t come near the reality.   Bottom line is that I ended up spending 3 times as far as the quote.   I think this business gives a low estimate so as to get the task and then they take All of the time that they need.   The movers should happen to be able to state when they walked into the home that it might take over 7 hours.   I think this practice is dishones and should be criminal.   I Won’t Ever deal with them again, and I invite all who can read this to beware of the business.

I read all of the terrible reviews and was somewhat reluctant about using DMV. I had been moving out of herndon VA into Chantilly VA, a space of less than five kilometers, and it required 2 weeks to finish my movement.   First of all, the Men and Women who schedule the appointments whined to me concerning the Price Tag.   They stated that they were professional army folks but that has been far in the instance. I specifically told me that I had to move into my Condo between 9 and 4pm, however, the movers got into my location quite overdue and from the time we got into the Condo, it had been too late to float, and so we needed to spend the night at a resort and our things had been pushed back to MD at Evening.   The movers were advised the next day to float but they had been attempting to take additional time into some unload to stand up the hours of labour to bill me.   They place my furniture incorrect and a few screws to the mattress were lost.   They were pushing my things with no respect for what could break.   Overall my primary criticism is that the office individuals who put up the movement, they plain whined.   They’re a Whole Lot of thieves and I recommend anyone Searching for movers to Steer Clear of DMV movers.   Simple as that!!!!

Please beware of those unprofessional scam artist! Here really is the worst moving experience I’ve ever had….they struck my glass dining room table performing a transfer which has been less than one mile plus they refuse to payoff me since I didn’t make it possible for them to wrap my the glass top with there $35 blanket once I used my very own! They’ve a whole lot of hidden charges that your not made aware of till they begin to load up the truck along with your things. Princesa, Oscar, Andrew, as well as their Hispanic movers ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! They create mention on their site that they are licensed through”BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU” that in reality, is a whole lie! I called BBB now and they said that DMV MOVING IN ROCKVILLE, MD failed to meet their criteria and speed them as a C-! Tired, after your items are on the vehicle its just like a game of racing roulette!!!!

DMV is the most incompetent moving business I’ve every experienced.     They whined about the time  They’d come tostart the movement, however, you still have to pay for all those hours.   At one stage they’d All my furniture in their truck. And Wouldn’t Speak to me personally.   I needed to phone the police because I had been concerned.   The authorities called them and that is if they answered the telephone to Provide a Concept of how wherethey were.   They got to me 3hrs late.   I am missingtagged appliances, boxes,  heater along with lots of furniture that is damaged.   No hope.   No more English   It was frightful.   Don’t use this Organization.   Where’s bBB -no assistance.   I’d dinning table wrapped  into a blanket that was moving, they stole that. There’s at a open space not in a safe locked storage device.

Walk, no, RUN AWAY from this business!! Wow, where do I begin?   I contacted this business about a month before I was scheduled to proceed.   I gave them the particulars of my transfer; shifting out of a two bedroom townhouse into a 4 bedroom single family residence.   I also included that they all needed to proceed was the heftier awkward things (dressers, mattresses, box springs, etc) and that I just needed them for approximately 4 hours.   They promised me that this was not a Issue and their prices were aggressive, fair, and mended with no hidden fees so I decided to give them a try.   This was my initial mistake.On the afternoon of the transfer, the movers arrived 45 minutes late.   The foreman immediately Started to Provide a rundown in their costs, to which I immediately called the business.   After getting the run around by DMV direction, I had been forced to negotiate a deal with the foreman in whom I’d trick him and his partners (two additional members of his team ) $35 dollars apiece”upfront.”   Then I watched these men normally waste three hours wrap up furniture (that is where they make their money) that did not Have to Be wrapped.   After they finished loading the truck that I asked them when they had the new address in their machine.   They said that they did, thus expecting them; I took off to my new house to wait their arrival.   This is my second mistake. The movers came immediately in Baltimore town 30 minutes after leaving my older residence.   What is the problem you say?   I had been going out of ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY TO PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY!!!   The space (in time) in my old home to my new residence is 20 minutes and when the movers would have followed me as if I proposed, I would not have lost (I will describe in the next paragraph) cash awaiting them.   When they eventually did arrive THREE Hours later leaving my first home the movers and their superiors didn’t believe they did anything wrong.   What was funny was how fast they unloaded the truck (less than an hour) how among those moving team asked me would he have a piece of stereo equipment.As due to the ineptitude, I had been compelled to rescheduled two present appointments which causing me losing a deposit of $150.00.   If you put in at the gall of among the team to ask me to get a Number of my Extra stereo gear and I wonder how this company stays in business.   This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business in my entire life.   In Summary, I have never noticed such gross incompetence in my entire life.   This ensemble is the Ebola Virus of moving businesses – RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

The WORST Transferring Experience EVER. Caution: Stay Clear…I had been quoted a terrific price, guaranteed of no hidden charges, delivered shining references of professionalism and efficiency. Upon coming LATE, the movers instantly lent me additional charges for some time and transferring certain things (the hidden charges ).   I was initially assured these hidden prices did not exist! Among the movers was to the telephone at least 1/3 the time and needed the telephone charging at the apt. When not being used. He didn’t work than the others except to place many things to the side to get ME TO CARRY unless I paid off the extra fee. I proceeded all those things alongside the movers packing and then unpacking that the whole time down and then up 3 flights of stairs at 100 degree heat. A mild, moderate sized, sterile plastic garbage can had been refused to become picked-up and transported from the movers?! After completing on the the packing facet, the movers stated they had been finished and sat at the air conditioned truck while I chose to bring down items left for me to take.   MORE! I clearly discovered in Spanish I had been known as a b***h with a mover. Another inspector whose English was minimum educated me when I mentioned something to him in Spanish to another movers and facing me.   After all, I was covered with bruises. I named the business during the transfer once the movers had not established between 8 and 9 (the agreed upon period ), for telephone use, moving things myself once I had been paying to get them transferred, being known as an unpleasant title and the guy on the opposite end of the phone said that I should not be having numerous issues that have a little movement in a mad voice which seemed like he had been blaming me. In the end once I settled up with all the movers, the young guy who had been on the telephone, phoned me a b**** (in Spanish) and transferred all of the things on the other side for me to transport handed me a test form to fill-out directly facing him. There was so much that I wished to say, but I was fearful of retribution and didn’t finish as I’d desired. On he other hand of this move I found I was missing two important products. Where they moved, I do not understand.

I’ll make this short and pleasant. Don’t use DMV Moving and Storage Company, if you don’t would like to have something missing. I use this business in JUNE of 2012, and that I wound up with a lamp that is missing. The proprietor then told me it was not his duty that my lamp was lost. O Well, to small claims court We’ll go.    Do not use them

If I could give this business a zero, I’d.   I put to get a general relocation quotation on Friday the 28th of September, and also Obviously, was getting lots of calls.   Monday the 1st I obtained confirmation of a movement occurring about the 12th of October.   I’d decided to use a single firm but had yet to make a deposit.   About the 2nd I had been getting calls and also e-mails out of Andrew in DMV with a quotation and he had been desperatley trying to receive my small business. My spouse and I encounter with DMV Moving & Storage Inc. on March 26, 2012 had been a nightmare due to many factors. First function as dishonesty from the employees. The employees struck the leaf in my dining room table and then concealed the broken part into our yard mower bag that was found with my husband two weeks afterwards. For the harm foliage we were just supplied $75.00 or $0.60 a pd. That was printed in their contract whereas we weren’t totally conscious of before choosing the moving business. Third, the employees took 2 hours and 5 minutes to a Monday morning at 11:55am to 2:00hours to journey by Woodbridge, VA into Alexandria, VA which just needs to take 15 to 20 minutes. We were later told that the employees stop for supper without telling my husband or me as we appeared in the new place for those employees. HOW RUDE!!! Then because they were unloading the vehicle that they took a few breaks to talk on the telephone whereas a single man walked off for approximately 20 to 25 minutes to talk on the telephone with complete respect for the fact that they had been working with the hour. Forth, being that the more quoted priced ended up nearly doubling at the close of the job. SO WE SUGGEST NO ONE USE DMV MOVING & STORAGE INC.. IN ROCKVILLE, MD.. AND TO ALWAYS READ ALL CONTRACTS THOROUGHLY.

They guarantee one time to get there then a couple of days before attempt to alter this time on you.  DON’T USE THEM.  ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE!  They’ll then attempt to make it seem as though they do you a favor from comming in any way.  Offered no reimbursement for shifting.

To begin with they had been two hours late..when, they came, just one spoke English, you ask the others a queries they simply consider you. They told me all of the blankets, blankets to wrap my own TV’s (I’d five, that I needed to maneuver myself) glass tables. . (I had just three. . .which I needed to maneuver myself) glass dinning table (that I had to maneuver myself) my grandson’d broken down the beds, while still awaiting them. . Don’t Use DMV Moving and Storage Inc!

I had to move out of DC area to Dallas, TX and researched for days to get a moving company that wouldn’t give me a hassle. I was not able to utilize a national brand since they were all booked through the month of June, so that I moved with DMV Moving and Storage Inc.. This has been a BIG Mistake!

Oscar, the proprietor, came outside to look at my furniture for my little move to Dallas. He was courteous and responsive when attempting to receive my small business. I’d known as a few of his references until he arrived to give me a quote. The 3 references suggested that I obtain a set rate contract since the company will insist on piling on extra fees during the transfer. His references advised me that they frequently made to pay additional packing charges even though were advised that these expenses could be contained. So, I entered into a set rate contract with Oscar and contained, in writing, all of my packaging expenditures (for my mattress and TV). Oscar also ensured pickup on June 16 and also a shipping date between June 27 to July 1st. The movers picked my furniture up in time, so that I was convinced that I would have no worries. I WAS WRONG!

Though Oscar understood I wasn’t at Dallas, TX before June 27 he insisted that he possess the motorist send the furniture beforehand. I told him numerous occasions that we’d agreed on a time period for delivery and I wasn’t in town to have the delivery made any earlier. He along with his driver demanded that I make myself accessible for the delivery although I had been outside of this nation! They advised me that it had been my fault that they would be late to get their other deliveries even though our contract specifically said a shipping time period. To be able to adapt the movers, I had a buddy TAKE OFF OF WORK so that the delivery can be made to my flat. I advised him that I wouldn’t pay that sum as that wasn’t my fault. Oscar shouted at me and cut me off once I clarified that the terms of the contract along with also the flat rate fee was put. He insisted that I cover his drivers or I wouldn’t get my things during a twenty five minute conversation in which he berated me! I wasn’t even in precisely the exact same city and has been doing him a favor!

Merely to get Oscar out of my own hair I consented to pay more cash within the agreed rate so as to receive my things. However , I agreed only to cover after my buddy confirmed that all my furniture and boxes was delivered. When I refused to cover before they finished, Oscar then shouted at me again on the telephone! However, Oscar then known as my 7 days from two different telephone numbers, and left me 3 text messages. Then he told the movers to quit working since I wasn’t likely to cover them, which wasn’t correct. It was ironic since he had been hiking up the price on me and accusing me of being a crook! The movers then contended with my buddy, that had absolutely nothing to do with the contract. Subsequently Oscar obtained on the telephone with my friend and cried!

When my buddy assured the drivers I would pay when the project was complete, they ended working. Nevertheless, they were worried about getting paid since, as they told my buddy, Oscar may not cover them! So, Oscar wasn’t merely being a crook into a client but in addition to his own employees!

When I finally came to my flat every day after, I discovered all of my furniture and boxes. There were several scratches in my dresser. But I also discovered that I’d got a box full of kitchen products which weren’t mine! So, some client is overlooking their kitchen things and I don’t have any idea who it is!

In short, DO NOT USE DMV Moving and Storage Inc.. Should you utilize the business, please be aware that you are going to wind up paying MORE than you bargained for. MUCH MORE in case you would like to receive your stuff!
