Ditto the negative superstar comment of another client. My husband and I are equally AD army and we transferred abroad for the first time. This firm lost the vast majority of our household products, which comprised nearly all of our”high value products,” like Waterford Crystal, Lenox China, handsome silver silverware collection, family heirlooms, electronic equipment, and higher excellent kitchen things such as KitchenAid mixer. The worth of the”lost” merchandise was between $50,000-60,000. The business is only going to cover $5,000. It’s been months and that corporation can’t even communicate with us”in which” in the procedure that our products were”missing” or”stolen.” Out of our email and telephone communications with all the”claims expert” it sounds as though there’s little if any investigation to the positioning of our products. Plus, we now found out they did not even pack our products appropriately. The movers gave a lame excuse of not having the ability to”cage” our products on site because of the number of products and the smaller dimensions of these trucks. As first time abroad movers we trusted that the movers were giving us precise information but today it feels like that could have been a part of a scam. I can barely fathom that fellow Americans would slip from army service members. We forfeit so much as people and a household and you’re paid to perform a job which you didn’t finish suitably. My husband and I’m not permitted to be”incompetent” in our tasks. . .the lives of others rely on it. However, it looks like this company used the chance for the ideal”scam” for”high value” items and just must pay a”fraction” of the cost for them. This is truly fraud and burglar. I hope ya’ll lose prospective business and that you lose your army contract! The American men and women deserve better!
If I could provide a negative star I would, however, I participate in the attribute. I didn’t check to find out whether they were the real moving business or a moving agent. They’re a broker. Second error, going with a business that demanded a deposit. The movers were supposed to be at my home on 7/28 or even 7/29. ON 7/28 I had been told they’d be there between 6 and 4 pm on 7/29. Late morniing of all 7/29 I got a message that they were overbooked and could get there possibly 7/30 or even 7/31. This was in the moving firm Coastal hired. I tried phoning Coastal but of course it was Saturday so I couldn’t get in contact with anybody. I advised the real movers I could absolutely never wait till Monday, but they really didn’t care and told me to whine to Coastal. I am now out an $800 deposit and’m forcing a uhaul truck cross country, three puppies in the truck with me, and towing my car behind.
We’re former miliary that was our final military movement. This business never contacted me regarding when or what time out products will arrive I needed to keep phoning. After our house hold products were sent there were two items missing one was a top value that wasn’t put on the record because it sould were together with a couple other people which were not and ought to happen to be. As soon as I attempted to assert the thing (computer screen ) I had been told it wasn’t itemized so”too poor”. The supervisor wouldn’t assist me. I tried asking him questions, and he wouldn’t even let me talk he kept yelling at me that he wouldn’t speak to me before I turned into my next round of claims kinds. In addition we had 8 additional big tiems which were broken, so this isn’t our very first move and the majority of it’s been moved many occasions such back and overseas and left it jsut nice. This business couldn’t transfer it around town without hurting it. On shipping among those workers always asked me to get itmes that I’m keeping in my own kitchen. He explained”if you are not likely to use this” (a entertainment cabinet along with a $200 carpet ). I’m also 98% convinced that among them stole my two year old’s IPhone (it no longer worked as a telephone ). The apartmetn is just 1300 sq feet and it won’t go down your toilet. This company doesn’t have any respect for others or their possessions, no authenticity, work ethic, just plain impolite.
