I’d never, ever recommend this moving business. I had been provided a time for sending my furniture and personal possessions of between 12pm and 2pm on 7 / 23 / / 2016. Long story short, I eventually got my things in 9:15pm and they eventually left soon after midnight. Not one of my furniture, like my flat screen TV was wrapped with protective plastic or blankets. 90 percent of my furniture includes dents, gouges as well as my strong pine headboard was seriously damaged. Yesterday, I had been”moved” by Big Boy Transferring and that I still have a complete U-Haul size value of items that has to be brought over. I clarified what I had – a three bedroom home, 1285 square feet – and they attracted a 24′ truck. Please bear in mind, I spent all of last week hauling boxes – a mean of 9 boxes per day – so that all they needed to do was buy the 15 standard Rubbermaid bags in the garage, the Christmas tree box, the lawn mower, our kid’s bicycle, washer, drier, small chest freezer, and approximately 15 pieces of furniture from within… they abandoned over half of it!! Just for instance, they attracted bookcases but no shelves, my dining room table and 5 of those 6 seats, my sewing machine cabinet but abandoned my expensive sewing machine.

The movers themselves, Josh and Kyle, were fine – however Kyle asked if he would have bits of furniture which we weren’t carrying, which was embarrassing – but they were awkward. They lost my bedside table, breaking things indoors. They nicked my husband’s vest along with my black bookcase. The dinged the walls from the homes… it was just a nightmare. The 50 minute drive took them an hour and a half – and I stopped for gas in my car and still beat them by 20 minutes!! They smoked from the cab of their truck so today a few of my linens have a smoky odor to them and my daughter and I both have allergies. This was only a hot wreck from the beginning.

I’ve already attracted over 4 automobile tons of leftover items and I have about six more car heaps to go. I’ve had to enlist the support of family members within a holiday weekend to finish moving the things from my previous property. I haven’t been so displeased in my whole life – and I’ve transferred my fair share.

I wouldn’t advise using this company for any kind of storage or moving whatsoever… I might have saved $120 in quoted cost but it cost me so much more at the finish.

Terrell, Anthony, Matt and Chad led up an Great team. From the moment they came they had been hustling. They worked really well together. They blanketed and wrapped and securely loaded all of our furniture. It was clear that they had been well educated professionals.

Then I watched their testimonials rating ( 3.1 celebrities ) and called back to speak to Amanda to examine their evaluation and got no response, I made a message to please call me back ASAP nobody called back. I phoned again Tuesday that the 15th 4 days and got no response, left 3 voice mails on to please call me backagain. Nobody ever called me right back. It’s currently Wednesday September the 16th and now I’ve known all their recorded telephone numbers and’m getting a message which this men voice email isn’t installed. Amanda said they’d mail me the contract however, they still have not even achieved that. I called another organization to move me naturally. I’ll be going for their own office Monday to make certain they don’t bill my credit card so that they don’t only appear in my moving day feeling I can not have a hold of them on the telephone to cancel together.

Everything began using the salesman lying through his teethagain. Despite understanding our time limits he flat out lied and stated they had a burden going up throughout the afternoon the furniture could be selected up with space for our objects. The furniture sat here for 10 days prior to being transferred. Dealing with this business was about as poor as some I’ve dealt with in my whole life. They’ve 800 numbers nobody replies. They leave messages to call the 800 numbers than nobody selects. They can’t even maintain their charging right and it took several telephone calls for it correctly. Again their errors never mine. They left bits of this headboard in our home instead of packaging them. If I’d not seen the mattress wouldn’t have been in a position to be placed together. Movers opted to fill boxes and misc. Things first departing furniture to continue.   On next excursion whilst unloading at 3:30 pm I asked”how much time it was about to take because I still had furniture which was had to be placed together, beds constructed and time was running out”  SUSAN in the workplace had been contacted re position, she phoned movers and had been told they’d approx. 40 additional min. The truck that they showed up in didn’t even say Large Boy Movers, ” it stated Proceed Doctors. They didn’t come to my house to perform a list and ended up sending a truck which was too tiny. It required the movers 6 hours to fill just half of my possessions. We needed to let and load an extra 20 foot uhaul. The movers came and even prior to opening the rear door into the truck, introduced me with a different contract which miraculously stated it would just take them 3 hours to complete the job. To my own amazement, they have been completed in 3 hours!!!! The movers were typically illegal drugs in my house and stealing my meals. Their”boss” was extremely unprofessional and threatened to carry my things. I had to threaten to call the authorities and has been pressured into signing an additional contract. My bill was over by $500 which didn’t include the trick or the uhaul. I had been quoted by additional moving companies for much less than that which this firm ended up charging me. The movers advised me that their boss does so all of the time to individuals. This is the way he runs his business. RUN!!
