Arnoff Moving & Storage

I’m appalled at the quantity and degree of devastation that Arnoff Moving and Storage, apparently a professional moving company, was able to perform to my own possessions. I never dreamed that a firm who’s business it would be to take care of furniture will be effective at carrying my dining room place, that was in my family for decades, and shear legs off, really split bits, and then expect that $90.00 will be sufficient reimbursement for their carelessness and ineptitude.

This was my fault not to purchase extra insurance, but nevertheless, I believed that a moving business who was in the company for so long might really have the ability to transfer me out of Malta into Saratoga Springs without doing too much harm. I was so very wrong. Since you can see in the photographs, Arnoff not just shattered the desk and the seats, but also light tiles and ceramic pieces. As per their arrangement, they simply had to reimburse me with this harm like my cherished household things were freight at 60 cents per pound.

Don’t under any conditions use Arnoff should you appreciate anything you have.

They sent a box comprising swing set elements to our property. The box has been broken and the materials were thrown out on the yard. They tried to cover it up by wrapping it into a queen futon cardboard box (not ours)

When I contacted the VP Craig Arnnoff he explained that many clients want their things delivered even if they’re damaged. We’ve got no method of knowing if a few of the pieces are around the back of the truck, dropped on the yard etc..

Do not use them! I see that the other inspection are equally as bad. .

Don’t move or shop together with Arnoff of Poughkeepsie. They ruined over $5000 of the furniture/rug. They sent our furniture following one year at CLIMATE CONTROLLED storage. Our ideal wool carpet was literally crumbling with moth and larvae infestation. The carpet was the very first issue to come from this truck along with the movers put it on the hallway floor. I instantly told them to take it outside outside BUT that the”crumbs” of the carpeting and the critters connected has generated a continuing moth problem within my BRAND NEW HOUSE! Anybody that has a moth difficulty knows that these pests grow. I’ve been coping with moths ever since and have discovered the pink threads out of the carpet they carried in weeks afterwards. My sectional sofa which has been shrink wrapped as it abandoned us needed to be replaced since the dirt or mould stains wouldn’t come out. My marble topped buffet has been cracked. This can be a two inch thick slice of marble. Not easily deciphered. I’ve a Bernhardt Dining Room place plus they cracked a framework of one of those seats so badly that it can’t be mended and the seat cannot be replaced, so I must find all new seats. I had other bits ruined, in addition to the movers scratching and denting our brand-new hardwood flooring in a number of places. I signed a contract that offers the customer an option on their own liability. But before I signed up, I phoned and talked to their representative since I had been worried about the $.60 percent accountability. She said that that is simply IN TRANSIT. . .and further said that it could be, for example, if the truck rolled over. I recently got a check from them for $216 for all this harm. I paid $220 for storage every month together and paid approximately $3000 for your moves. DON’T MOVE or STORE together. Their liability essentially suggests that they come receive your furniture and may literally THROW it at a filthy, sexy storage container as well as the customer doesn’t have any RECOURSE!!! I intend on following through with the FMCSA and any and all other governmental agencies on the market. Additionally, it’s a law which they need to supply you with their movers dispute settlement application, which they never did.

Do not keep your possessions with Arnoff. They use burglars who will undergo your own storage cartons and slip what they need. If you complain you’ll be stonewalled with using their”gatekeeper”Denise.File a proper complaint and they’ll lie lie lie. I guess that the lowlife criminals that they employ feel comfortable working for Arnoff,realizing that they can steal client’s items and the jagged firm will possess their backs. The point is, stay away.

Terrible experience. They delivered the incorrect truck that the day of the move. We needed to rent a van ourselves and start to move a lot of their own things. Matters were damaged and broken as well as the firm took no obligation whatsoever because of this. They acted like they’d and then nothing. A large disappointment. They look all professional at the start when getting one to contract together and they then abandon their employees and the clients using a cluttered mess. Stay away!

They simply take your money and tell you you are simply a bit of [EDIT] essentially steer clear of this business if you wish to go robbed .they won’t assist in anyway it is all about money to them pity with this business .And wish to provide the titles you can not expect Dante, along with David they wont yield any one of your mails any the albany arnoff they cause you to wait for they get some men to perform to attract your stuff so if you have the time to squander call arnoff moving they’ll cause you to wait for .dishonest company dishonest unethical dishonest dishonest one can not trust.

This is the enterprise to choose if you would like to get lied to. They appear give you a quote based on what their rep feels you require for boxes to move your possessions. Then once you package your possessions you find you’ve got more boxes then the rep told you. We had been milked for an additional $750.00 since their rep did not caculate our land the ideal way more then going to quote us a much better price then other just to telephone us said they won’t move the property till we cover more. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Alot of those items have been ruined it required three weeks to receive our property. The driver told me it’d have been on time however he stopped at his brothers home for a couple of days. They were just two days late on delivery. They lacked communicating. They are completely horrible. Then tried pushing the blame on North American Van Lines that was just as accountable. Don’t use either company if you don’t need late shipping, finished charging, ruined land! Virtually everything was scraped and lots of items ruined.
