    Long-distance move from California
    DON'T USE!

I made a fast choice to seek the services of All State Movers from Norcross, Georgia to move my possessions from Florida to California since they had been the only firm who may come to the first of the season –that the only day that I had been in Orlando, FL where my possessions were being transferred from. Regrettably, they didn’t appear as promised. I had a buddy meet them around the 2nd if their driver finally came. As of now –June 29, 2018– that I still do not have my possessions. I have phoned and emailed the transferring business several times during the previous few weeks to attempt to discover out where my material has been found simply to get discrepancies in tales from supervisors, ignored/dropped telephone calls, discounted e-mails, etc.. I was eventually told this May that their truck had been stolen at Miami and had my own possessions inside. When I asked about that they had been guaranteed by to submit a claim I obtained the move about from all State exemptions. I had been supplied a policy which died (can offer an email saying non guaranteed by insurer ). I immediately contacted them again and 2 weeks later was provide another business to telephone (CAF CAP). Now, they’re attempting to cover me to the burden of my furniture/stuff that I am not overly happy about as a result of absolute devaluation–.60 each pound. On the other hand, the most tragic, is that I’d images of my dead dad who died when I was 4 years old I won’t ever see again–that the sole real thing I had of him.

I would not be shocked when the moving business has my furniture/stuff at certain warehouse in Miami. Or, should they’ve pulled this earlier on somebody else because of this shortage of professionalism, disagreements in their tales regarding where my possessions were and failure to inform me about their own”missing truck” till months later following relentlessly calling them on a routine bases. Unfortunate. It is a shame that individuals would attempt to pull prospective scandals in this way across country lines, which makes things quite hard to even report to authorizes. Further, that they don’t know the inflicted damage they’re causing my carrying items which must not be mended.

Long-distance move from Powder Springs, GA
ALLSTATE MOVERS, NORCROSE GA SCAM ALERT!!

We’re Senior Citezens who’ve been scammed. Below is a letter that I emailed them:

This is an official complaint about Allstate Movers unethical, unprofessional and prohibited activities. Our thing count was grossly misstated in 100 things over count. Our dispatch looked like it had been transferred around a lot and ruined, broken items and a few are spilled completely. ALLSTATE MOVERS performed the classic bait and switch by estimating non and overcharging before shipping holding our things hostage till we paid. They gave us deceptive dimensions, Misleading quotation and overinflated charges. We never received” a Ready to transfer leaflet” from them either. I phoned the FMCSA and they said I could file an official complaint after I obtained my items. I’ll do this if I do not receive a refund of $2500.

I scheduled our transfer in January 2018 –2 weeks before March 8, 2018 from Powder Springs GA into Ocala Florida. I specifically asked an early morning time due to property closing on home daily. My delivery date has been scheduled 48 hrs after on March 10. I was confident that this would occur easily by Jasmine your sales rep. Several days before pickup I emailed her several times to cover the quote date period and item listing. She promised me the cost wouldn’t go higher than the binding quotation I approved of 2225. I have emails to prove this. – none of this occurred as promised. – the lure.

We packed all of our boxes and crates safely. Wow On March 7th day we received a call from Alex stating the movers will probably be only a bit late. Likely 11 or 12 noon. I was upset since I asked a MORNING pickup. Subsequently on March 8Th. No one showed up in 12. I phoned and talked to Eric who gave me the drivers mobile phone. I called and spoke to Kevin who stated that they had been in Savannah and could get to me in Powder Springs 4 or 3. (It requires 6 hrs from Savanah into Powder Springs). After frantic calls into the workplace and mails to Jasmine, Kevin showed up at 7:30pm with 2 guys.

While the men started wrap furniture that he had me sign a lot of blank records and stated he’d fill the top portion after finish. We consented to extra three woredrobe boxes to get tender bagged and a couple of additional last minute odd shaped things and agreed to cover extra fees. AS said in original quotation, the movers packed with the TV, printer, floor lamp, two mirrors and two paintings along with all furniture recorded in contract. We weren’t given a last collection of things as customarily done.

    Now the change.

After two & half an hour of loading the 26 feet (little ) truck, Kevin handed us a bill of lading that superseded the initial quotation. The language was also distinct. He altered the phrases based on cubic feet rather than item listing. He stated that we had 100 more things than anticipated and that would compute a higher cost, even greater than initially quoted. His 26 feet truck was stuffed to the brim. The new bill of lading revealed a dimension of 1900 cubic feet at nearly triple the price of initial quotation. We couldn’t confirm that at 10pm at nighttime. We relied on 157 items in complete Before the transfer. This was 23 more things within the 133 items recorded on contract but we were eager to cover this. This will not constitute the additional 600 cubic feet. He LIED to you and us.

It was 10pm and we had been looking at a 5 hr drive to our destination 440 miles off. The office has been shut at 10pm and we couldn’t dispute at this moment. We paid under duress. The test cleared the following day. We were hectic therefore we compensated Kevin $2818, $600 over initial quote of $2,225.

After March 10, our 1st accessible shipping date, we obtained no calls telling us when our stuff could arrive at Ocala Florida. We hunted and emailed and called but nobody gave us a direct answer.

So I called and I talked to Deseray in the workplace who stated it might take a couple more times and my stuff was at Atlanta warehouse and also have patience. We waited seven days as well as the shipping man called on Saturday day that he was arriving on Sunday. March 18 to provide. I stated I’d descrepancy with invoice but he couldn’t unload before I paid with Cash gram. We paid.

The foreman showed me that a bill of lading that includes a 162 count of things along with 1300 cubic feet. He laughed when I showed him that the bill of lading showing 1900 cubic ft. He called John to tell him To check the amounts since it turned out to be a large difference and have to be a mistake. Based on Kevin, we’re either lost 105 objects or 600 cubic feet of things. Either way this is a significant issue. John dismissed this bit of advice from the pickup men.

    DAMEGES
I’ve unwrapped each product and discovered a terror inside all of my boxes. Pics are attached to the ruined boxes and things.
    Broken dishes ,glasses, stoneware
    George Foreman grill busted manage

    MISSING ITEMS
    A Ladder
    A Kirby vacuum
A moderate dize Box of serving platters
A blue big plastic container of Waterford Chrystal stemware 12 eyeglasses
A moderate box of dishes and bowls
1 wordrobe box filled with various things
(Notebook. IPad, decorative cushions and memorabilia)
    Quilts
    You’re overlooking 41 stickers. The lost numbers jump around in 6 to 12, 17 to 24, 25
    Into 37, 45 to 49, 59 to 63, 75 to 78, 83 to 90, 96 to 116, and skips any other one and just goes around 161. See pic.

Ultimately delivery arrived on Sunday March 18, 2018.
8 days following anticipated delivery. We not only had to wait for 8 hours on pick up but were advised I wanted patience on delivery. Why was my things even removed the first truck when it had been coming in two days. It is known as the bait and switch.

    Problems:
    1.
The bill of lading was wrong.
The delivery driver stated my stuff was 1300 cf. Why did Kevin grossly miscalculate this dimension to 1900cf and intentionally Mis count the products? That is 600cf than real. At 10pm where would we find a weigh station to confirm this!

    2. Before they began to unload we chose an image of our things still strapped in the truck. The things on the truck seemed crushed together.

We utilized pricey moving boxes and bubble wrap and a lot of tape and pruning for every single box to safeguard our precious products. We wrapped each dish and glass three times employing appropriate boxes. What did you do to those boxes in two weeks???

We’re requesting a refund of $2500 or we’ll file charges against you in s court of law. We’ll go to the BBB in Addition to the FMCSA TO Discredit your permit.
