    Long-distance move from Metairie, LA
    No boxes upon arrival

After the team showed up to package and move the flat from Metairie into Baton Rouge, they had no poles. Fortunately, a neighbor had a while. After being advised that the test written past the deposit was likely to be voided and sent back, I found that it had been deposited. Until I had been conscious of this, I left a Walmart into Walmart transfer. I needed to take from work early to regain the money so the bank accounts would not be overdrawn.

    Long-distance move from Florida
    Allstar Movers bad service

I wrote to the Houston, Texas bbb in my experience with All Star Movers, 8135 Jack Rabbit Road, Houston, Texas. The support agreement was that they’d pick up my furniture In Radcliff, KY. on Nov. 17, 2013 and also take it into Orlando, FL. From Dec. 20, 2012. I sent them $1,500 to cover towards the entire arrangement and the insurance of $4,000.00. The shipping date had pass, I phoned them and they said that they were broke down. Finally, they did not come before the 20th of Dec. 2012 in 11:30 p.m.. The 2 guys who unloaded my items remained they needed to pick my things up out of a storage in West VA.. I paid to get my items come nonstop to my address to not be placed in storage. When they unloaded my possessions, once I analyzed my possessions the surunk which I had left in Germany was hurt and pieces were lost, dishes were missing and broken, a number of my tots were thrown out and out and lost with clothing and personal items which can’t be substituted, my DVD was lost, together with laptop. The motorist request $240.00 for packaging stuff that wasn’t used, he stated the $240.00 could be deducted from my total. I delivered my claim paper work on Bianka from the claim department at All Star 02/05/2013 no response, known as Bianka every day and left message to return my phone, no return calls, then I called Andrew in client support left a message to return my telephone no return telephone. All celebrity movers wouldn’t return telephone calls. I called the BBB at Houston, TX. To whine about Allstar Movers that the BBB sent them a registered letter requesting advice in my whine Allstar Movers never reacted. This was a nightmare! If you’re arranging a move I advise that you do not use this organization.

    Service price: $2,200

    Long-distance move from Texas
    A star movers

A celebrity movers transferred my home possessions from Houston Texas to Bloomington Indiana. I was quoted a really low cost compared to what other movers’d lent me. Lesson is, you get exactly what you purchase. They were assumed to arrive in my home at 8am and walked in at 10:30am. I predicted for 9am and they explained that they needed to change a bicycle. I needed to phone them, they didn’t offer the courtesy of giving a telephone call. Upon arrival they didn’t have any additional boxes, tape, or even some other things other movers needed as a back up anyhow. Near the close of the movement they had been very impatient stating they had to leave to be able to receive our items to Indiana (though they had been educated that they showed up late). They just responded that we were not entirely prepared to proceed. (We’d boxes from the kitchen which had to be recorded ) As a consequence, a number of things where left behind in which I needed to throw/give away.

    Long-distance move from Virginia
    Complaint never resolved

A few weeks ago I wrote to the bbb in my experience with All Star Movers, 8135 Jack Rabbit Road, Houston, Texas. I advised you about the arrangement which they’d pick up my furniture In Chesapeake, Va, on Dec. 17, 2012 and take it to Hugo, Ok, by Dec. 20, 2012. I sent them $1,000 to cover towards the entire arrangement of $2,214.97. I turned in my notice at work, and assessed my kids from school and packed all of my belongings and was waiting and ready. On the 17th, I called them and they said that they had been broke down. Finally, they did not come before the 20th at 9:30 p.m.. The 2 guys who fulfilled my things remained on their mobile phones the entire time. They threw their garbage in my floor and then they finished loading at 11:30 pm , they arrived to my car and needed $240.00 for packaging materials. They said it’d be deducted from my total. I made for Oklahoma and came in one day. I predicted All Star daily. They eventually arrived 3 months later! They came at 12:30 a.m. And unloaded our possessions in the dark. When we analyzed it, my new dresser was broken, my additional dresser was broken, and my bags were thrown out and out. My Dishes were broken along with my wii, DVD player, and children’s piggy banks were lost. All celebrity movers wouldn’t return telephone calls. I sent them a registered letter asking a claim form and they never responded. This was a nightmare!

    Long-distance move from Florida
    Movers

This began as an typical move. I had been told I’d have my things a week when they picked it up. This was over a month before, and it still has not yet been delivered. When they were overdue, they didn’t call me to inform me that they had been running late…I needed to call and ask in my own. They stated there was a departure in one of the motorists household. . .fair enough. A week after I had to phone again and test on my things (still hadn’t got a call from them to inform me that they had been running late… again). They said my matters could be  delivered two weeks from the second call since they were moving back into the east coast after having gone all of the way to Oklahoma. Calling a next time, I had been told their transmission struck. Long story short I still have not got my things.  This seemed a little fishy so I looked them up on the BBB (certainly ought to have done this before hiring them). They obtained an F in an A to F scale. They’ve 55 complaints, a number of which remain unresolved.  I hope this helps people make their decisions about hiring movers. . .do your study before
