Hi All, I moved from Dallas, TX to Bentonville, AR and they dedicated that they will send within seven days because its only 350 miles. They upgraded in site it’s 1 to 7 days for 500 milesper hour But I didnt recieved within seven days and requested them and they’re so casual manner they talked and educated its still in their Dallas Warehouse plus they didnt have the vehicle to ship my items. They advised that they cant devote some particular date for my delivery and it could take a while. Also I requested for refund plus its not in their own coverage it sounds. Now I’m suffering with no essential things. :–LRB- So unhappy to talk about this. Additionally now I am poor that I paid full amount upfront. We cant deduct some money too.
If you’re seeking a long-distance runner and so are on a small budget, then just continue saving a bit more until you may employ a rated moving firm. This provider is definately a rated that is exactly what Angie’s record led me to think. They lie, cheat and steal. Decmber 2017 they chose up my family things from Dallas,TX to Los Angeles,May. I’m still awaiting my things 2020, yes, 2020. They picked up my possessions Dec 2017. I had been informed by Dart that they would be bringing my products but could notify me beforehand. That never occurred. I receive a telephone December 25, 2017, yes Christmas afternoon, approximately 11 am ish. The shipping driver said that they’d be in my home in 2 hours. To which I voiced to my motorist noone advised me to anticipate delivery on Christmas afternoon and moreover I am not ready to be coping with any furniture while I was in the center of my Christmas cooking.and was not likely to be home more. I advised the shipping driver that nobody contacted me to inquire whether I’ll be in home or even nothing. Dart, the deal,” said because I didn’t want to take shipping on Christmas, they’d be checking me $170 a month because they needed to put my possessions. Finally, they stated that they auctioned my things. Dart kept hanging up in my head telling me to get my attorney call them and then we could talk.
I’d transferred from Dallas into Conniticut, pickup was great but the affiliated company together is totally ridiculous who is woman supervisor is Pamela, they billed extra at the time of delivery and their workers are completely unprofessional they employed abusive languages, even if you won’t pay them additional sum they refuse to altered your shipping to a door, they advised if you won’t pay additional straight away they will abandon out the elevator, even when you attempt to telephone office they won’t pick and thus don’t possess any choice left to pay them additional. In the time of pickup they dedicated that they will assemble the things whilst providing but the affiliated firm’s employees billed extra and hadn’t completed complete work that they informed us we do not understand how to build, I informed them I’ve full video how to build but still they refused to perform it. Majority of my things got ruined and I am attempting to receive my claim let us see their answer. I think whoever submitted this moversis great should be there workers or substance, like you many of these submitted they’d cheated clients. I’ve their workers videos too to reveal they refuse to take action, how they’re acting, I started earning if they took additional cash from us still not performing building stuff, I’d paid additional $100 to workers merely to build my stuff that was already contained in shipping.
Arrived on time packaged carefully and carefully loaded safely
Shipping was smooth and quick.
We had been Very Satisfied with the support
Very fast and professional movers they’ve transferred my workplace and my home from yesteryear .Great and fair organization to operate with .The cash was appropriate because we negotiated without a hidden extras or fees. Will suggest them to all of my loved ones members and friends.
If I could give 6 stars I’d offer 7 these movers would be good They ended befor I anticipated on they manage the project but quite professionally with the 105゚ exterior And the overall amount was even less than the Estimate was. I transferred a few of times and never needed movers such as that and im completely using them again they r great
Please invest some time to read this review if you prefer your furniture and household things. Only 1 sentence relating to the business; THE WORST OF THE WORSTS due to these reasons: 1) They aren’t dedicated to the due date of shipping. 2) They could not send a single thing undamaged. 3) They take zero responsibility for the damages that they cause. 4) They’re liar and unethical. Do not be duped with their evaluations on google. Should you assess them on Yelp you may get this information from yelp that lots of favorable testimonials have come from the exact same IP address.
I’d them to transfer my things out of TX to MA. It took them approximately 4 months to send my things while they’d promised 3 months. Not to mention that, they wanted to send my things at 3:00 AM because the truck driver needed to go someplace else after my shipping. I was able to convince the motorist for deliver in 5:30 AM. I could not believe my eyes when they began unloading the truck. Each and every thing was damaged. Simply please see the photographs which explain how dreadful this provider is. At one stage, I thought they did this intentionally. They broke my coffee table in half. The couch’s arm remainder is broken. Really heavy scratches and portion of your own desk. They broke my bed’s framework which made it totally useless. The TV-stand top glass has been shattered. Where am I supposed to obtain a tinted glass to my TV-stand? I kept calling them and they decided to not accept any of my calls. Finally, they informed me that I must follow up my promises with their insurance provider. I really don’t understand what is the purpose of paying a moving company to move your household things whenever they neglect to perform their job correctly. I’d have contributed my furniture rather. After I emptied all these choices I published an overview of google, Yelp, and ratemymoving.com. Just 1 day after, Dart phoned and just remembered that they will need to take a while and that there was a third party who sent my belongings and it was their fault and 1st Production won’t function together anymore just due to this crash, blahblahblah. He said he’ll follow up with their insurance provider to receive my asserts going instead he desired me to eliminate those inspection. I approved (I acknowledge that it was error and that I should not have done it). I had been offered some cash much less than that which my substance worth and has been scheduled to be sent in 45 days. It has been 4 weeks and I have not seen that money nonetheless. They failed again to look after this kind of little responsibility something that they provided and dedicated. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
These men”(1st generation) were considerate, professional, and quick. They took good care in tackling everything, and kept me informed on what was happening with every step of this procedure. They were also very patient with me while working out the details of the move. Overall a positive experience.
I transferred with his creation out of Dallas to California that the men was professional and about the time no harms no more over charge good project
I moved from texas to California using 1st creation the men Appear at the time and also did really Fantastic project the delivery was between the time that they informed me along with also the delivery guys did a good
Thank un
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. BAD BAD BAD, LIES, LIES, LIES. This business gets loaded off putting to it’s clients. Evan, from shipment, is your only calling potential clients. He lies in the get-go. He quotes you a price once you inform him everything you want transferred, not mentions that in the event you have more, you’ll be billed. He neglects to say that you get billed by the cubic foot. We had been guaranteed truck birth on Saturday, which was the very first lie. The truck caught here on Sunday with 2 guys. After loading the things we had been advised, well you ended more then 400 cubic feet therefore there is an extra cost of $1,500.00. That is after we had been quoted $1,500.00 for pickup, loading, and driving to our destination at WV, unloading, and placing all things to the home. At this time it’s either unload everything that’s already on the automobile or consent on the extra charge. Since we had to have our things in WV from the next Thursday, we consented to this fee. Before the movers leaving one of them states”Will there be an issue when an 18 wheeler produces your things”? Our things were picked up at a 16 foot box truck. We tell them that YES it’d be a issue with an 18 wheeler and the Agency told us to phone Evan, therefore we did. Not merely did Evan inform me along with my husband that it would stay about the 16 foot box truck, we additionally have witnesses who heard him say it. Lie back again. We were advised that our things will maintain WV by no later then that following Thursday, bend again. We finally got a call in the Driver on Friday said he’d be present in the afternoon. We needed to ask”Are you currently in a 18 Wheeler”? Sure enough he had been. We provided to meet him roughly a 1/8 mile away from the house with trailer and truck and to transfer our items ourselves. Driver has there the following morning and needs $1,500.00 until he permits us moan. We said we’d give him half of that because we needed to transfer all our items ourselves, and when what was in 1 piece we’d cover another half. The driver advised me NO NO NO and got horrible. Long story short that he took off together with all our things. So phoning Evan again and again understanding we’ll get much more lies, that is precisely what we have. We had been advised that our items is presently in Washington DC at Storage and when we’d love to acquire the speech and come receive our things we’d need to wire cash first. For 2 days we needed to skip work, sleeping on the ground, and consume each day, because our things were never sent into jus as guaranteed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO. We still do not have our things and today are told that we have even more fees…. Well it’s been granted to our Attorney, and we’ll observe this crocks in courtroom.
Horrible. I feel as though they intentionally provide you with a very low cost on the telephone and then drive this up after they arrive. If they get that they will say that there are light scratches on your entire stock to relieve them from all obligation, and they didn’t deliver on time (hence costing me additional cash in resort prices ). A $1200 transfer cost me over $1700! When they came my daughter bed was ripped up, my leather seat had a significant hole in, and my kid’s $600 custom made toy chest had greasy foot prints around it that I can not escape! Very frustrated and hurt about the whole experience with this provider.
1st Generation Moving assisted me move and that I was quite happy with their solutions! I’d obtained my things together with in 5 times! That I thought was fairly quick! I’d advocate 1st Generation Moving for everybody. The moving team was very professional and attentive to every one of my demands while still moving. When my items came to our new house the shipping group was quite detailed in setting everything where I wanted it to be. That helped me a great deal not having to transfer all of it again. Their actions spoke volumes within their own workmanship.
***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*** dreadful experience. Lied on virtually everything. Cindy and the proprietor, Hay, are authentic con artist. They con you into contracts off verbal claims, then don’t have any desire to solve the issue. And they don’t respect the notes about the connections made by their workers. HORRIBLE company that’s an actual manifestation of the proprietor himself. Awful company guy. And I requested for the extra insurance they advised me no.
Lately I’ve received excellent costumer support from 1st Generation Moving business. Their support and expert care exceeded my expectation. Three main things making them the very best in company: Favorable strategy, cheap price, and equipped to deliver their support before schedule. I’d advocate 1st generation moving for anybody who want best moving support.
I’d 1st creation moving transfer me and my loved ones from Texas to Illinois and everything went as planned. In the very first telephone call the rep. was very enlightening and beneficial. To the guys coming into my house and loading all of my furniture. They took good care of everything really carefully! I’d advocate 1st production moving to every one of my friends and loved ones! Thank you very much for all of your help 1st creation and their team!
DON’T DON’T utilize this organization. The assert they’re professionals, they’re not. They broke into locked boxes, stole a gun, jewellery, personal identification, bank checks, etc.. This products were in lock boxes. Do not live up to whatever which has been told to me personally on the telephone. Also utilized the bait and switch costing me $500.00 over quoted.
Big mistake on my part to provide them my movement. – They gave me a low estimate on the telephone, but if they came over to proceed took the cost was far higher. – They take 50 percent of their cash upfront in money, so beware. They take your belongings and cash and following that hold you hostage on shipping – My delivery took nearly a month out of pick-up, and needed to call a number of times without a status update from them – After nearly 20 days in the pickup, they advised me that the transfer was quite difficult for them since they weren’t able to locate anybody to send it to my place. Why would they not tell me upfront until they took my money and things? They understood where I was sending it because the day I requested to get a quotation. – The service once you provide them your relocation is outright pathetic. It was almost like dealing with offenders. – They never called to tell me that my stuff was sent, simply to be called from the driver who desired to send it at 10:00 pm at the night – The shipping man again looked for reasons to bill additional, needed to pay him $200 more for carrying it one additional floor – failed to build the mattress correctly, cause he’d lost several screws. – The delivery man kept on requesting trick (more like threatening to trick him, or else). Ultimately the Entire experience felt like a day light robbery
****DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! *****RUDE, FALSE QUOTES, INCONSISTENT PERSONNEL, DAMAGED ALL ITEMS 1st Generation transferred our family things from Dallas to Seattle and functioned in an unethical and prohibited conduct. Most things were COMPLETELY damaged. When starting our contract by 1st Generation, we had been quoted an estimated number of our final charge, which increased by more than 50%. Fees were incurred that weren’t initially discussed, such as having stairs at our city residence, which had been obviously communicated to 1st Generation. When the movers came early to our house, the insisted on packaging boxes themselves to hasten the move-out period, which also led to the speed to boost because of their box dimensions which were supplied. Furthermore, things were thrown into boxes and also dragged down the stairs by a single person, causing harm to the base of numerous items. After they left the house, EVERY conversation that happened between the business and that I had been due to us calling them or having to leave numerous messages without a contact. Our things sat in Dallas for 2 weeks with no improvement and then as soon as the truck abandoned Dallas, it stayed in Colorado for a week. When seeking to ascertain the standing of the items and program, we had been either ignored or treated in a impolite fashion. I then needed to start handling the accounts myself together with the driver to stay in touch with him to get updates on our stuff. The non and poor customer support, and inability to offer an excellent service was initially upsetting, excluding how the cost greatly increased from exactly what we had been quoted. Afterward, when they called to say that they were hoping to arrive the following day, they wanted to bill another $400 to offer shuttle service from the truck into our house, even though our neighborhood will not have accessibility for 18-wheeler trucks. We could find that price waived because of it being utterly unethical, but then immediately later got an email with an attached letter that the company needed me to sign. The letter was requesting me to forfeit my right to submit any claims against the firm if anything has been stolen, lost, or damaged beyond repair. That of course made me incredibly worried about the standing of our valuables and furniture. The motorist arrived afterwards than expected and was unbelievably rude. He wouldn’t take the money order since it wasn’t from a post office, therefore we needed to go out and find the next one before the bank closed. The motorist said if we did not provide us the money in five minutes, he’d leave with all our items. After we could supply him with all the desirable form of payment, that was not articulated to me, he then said he wouldn’t transfer the things off the truck before I signed the paper saying that we sacrifice the right to sue or file a claim depending on the standing of our objects. I needed to then tell him I deleted the email, which I’ve not, so that he would give us our things and depart our property.Once they started unloading the vehicle, it just got worse. Nearly all these items are ripped, torn, cracked, stripped, cracked or shattered. Everything in your box springs being ripped to our pull out couch being ripped to them damaging our existing town home (carpeting and portion of the wall) into a totally broken desk and television stand into a cracked snowboard into a dresser with all the rear fully ripped off to our mattress only placing on the truck with no about it. Whatever you can imagine is broken in some manner – bicycle seat screws broken in halfan bicycle chain shield cracked, dining area table corners smashed, boxes which seemingly broken so that they simply wrapped in tape, boxes fully ripped open, nightstands cracked, bookcase scuffed, and much more. They were even trying to leave matters out or contrary to the wall so that we wouldn’t find the damage. I have photos of everything so much and I hope to find more harm during my unpacking. The business is unprofessional, dishonest and borderline illegal, and I would like to at least be reimbursed for their services, because we’ve got a remarkably restricted number of salvageable things and they didn’t supply the support we signed up for – transferring our things with care and appropriate handling. I’ve registered a complaint with the BBB and that I shall try to make certain that no other individual is influenced by these and left with all of their property destroyed with no concern or care from 1st Generation. ***DO NOT MAKE THE Exact Same MISTAKE! **** I wish I could return in time since our family has been busted and we paid for this to occur. It’s a crime and don’t do this on your own!
1st Generation storage and moving transferred me in Arlington into GA.. This is a fantastic choice, very good price, exceptionally professional from the pickup and delivered punctually. No broken things, Cesar and each of the movers were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will certainly recommend this particular movers to anybody That’s moving.
I was searching for last minute movers once yet another firm came to pick up my things and wanted to charge me 3 times greater than their phone quotation. So I cancelled them and started to search for new movers. I had just 3 days to transfer my things from the storage until I receive charge for a different month. I contacted few business and when I talked with Diane (representative in 1st generation) I believed that I must go together. They arrived the following day, the movers were both friendly and experienced. I’d additional cost of $225 since they had to package several delicate items but overall they did a fantastic job. They worked longer than 4 hours to load my furniture and went directly to OK to provide. Everything arrive in great shape, they put back the beds together. I had been very relief to place this movement behind me in this effortless manner. So simply to state 1st Generation Moving & Storage did a fantastic job and I thank them.
They’re unprofessional and greedy Individuals. I phoned over 10 moving companies to compare quotes. 1st Generation Transferring gave me a quotation nearly 3 times as far as some other businesses charge me. And that is the only firm I recall to inform that I really don’t have a mattress to proceed. They even told me that they gave me the very best reduction they could and their quotation was founded on the Precise Quantity of things I have. Just how GREEDY
Where to even start? Besides some busted buffet table…
#1. They dismissed my dates and stated they had been providing after that afternoon…5 days early – 5 times until I had the keys into the brand new rental. If I did not not consent, it’d be another 2-3 weeks until they would deliver again.
#2. I researched a Enormous distance in front of this building. The driver denied to playground since there was a Indication that said”no thru traffic.” He wouldn’t hear conclude about”delivery trucks aren’t double trucks”. He parked round the corner and then charged me $75 to your space. . .and essentially held or possessions hostage until I moved into an ATM and move $75. . .or he would return in 2-3 weeks.
#3. He then also wanted an additional $75 for its flight of staircase. . .which was already in my contract free. I called the proprietor given the driver my telephone, who cried at the Operator and then drove my phone Throughout the area… The proprietor stated the staircase were at the contract, however requested me to cover the $75 to its space and then claim it so he could payoff Rather than fighting with the motorist….and He had never utilized this contract motorist earlier. (The driver afterwards made it quite clear he has been working with this particular manager a while and despises him).
#4. I reluctantly agreed, however, once I proceeded to assert it, the proprietor denied – that I even went so far as to utilize their unworthy dispute support and he essentially said it never occurred, basically calling me a liar.
#5. The motorist moved and picked up an illegal alien before Home Depot (notice: another worker remained and told me exactly what he had been doing!!!) Subsequently the driver paid the prohibited from the 75 he billed me for space and needed him haul everything up the stairs!
#6. Though from the contract which they wouldn’t be held accountable for damaged flooring, the illegal immigrant who did not really get the job done for them, place the metallic record cainets down from the door and pushed them over the area (wood flooring ), scratching all of them up.
#7. Subsequently the driver had the audacity to get angry at me for never”supplying them beverages and A/C”. I advised him that he was 5 days early(!) , I only got the keys out of the landlord 20 minutes before they came that cost a pretty penny, so which at that 20 seconds I did not call to possess the water and power turned on early/immediately(!) , and they’d all of my meals in boxes within their truck! He eventually went into the 711 around the road and bought them a few water with a few of the rest of the money from the 75 money he needed from me. This was actually the worst going experience I’ve ever had. . .the direction was dreadful, the motorist was dreadful, and their dare services is unworthy. Save your sanity and money – move elsewhere.
1st production moved my 3 bedroom home 2 days before, they billed reasonable hourly fee, however, the movers were simply excellent.
Cesar was quite effective, because they came he took over matters –directing every inspector to that which he must do first.
Jackie estimated on the telephone 7 hours to finish the movement but they ended it in 6 hours.
They wrapped everything together with moving blankets as well as the beds together with all the plastic covers.
What I enjoyed the most is that the Cesar was performing excellent job and the movers were both considerate and kind.
They inform you 4 individuals will move your belongings but just 3 people move 1 and it sits on the trunk to the truck doing nothing. They’ll cost you $100 gasoline charge. Whatever time you’re quoted include 1 or two hours for your bill. My price was $100 per hour. I was quoted 3 hours but ended up carrying them 5 hours and then that didn’t contain the garage just the flat. The first quote comprised everything but I left them only do the apartemnt since they were really slow. Nothing got stolen or broke apart from my $3500 couches that got scraped up on the leather borders. If you’re in a hurry, got the time and money then proceed. But in case you have some time then you’re better off searching for a better business. Also look for the DOT site and examine the movers at take care of your move site at https://www.protectyourmove.gov/ And they won’t pack your belongings if you don’t cover more naturally. Protecting things cost more also.
I got my shipment yesterday and after I ended to start all of the boxes I’d love to thank 1st Generation team.
Since the very first time I talked with Jackie she had been really nice and enlightening on the telephone, she sent me a representative for in-home quote,
And I made a decision to use them since my brother in-law advocated and since the cost was reasonable.
The movers came on time, they were very kind and professional and it looked to me as though they knew exactly what they were doing.
Couple of days ahead of the shipping I received an email out of Hay letting me understand that the truck is about the road — when they sent they place every item set up and reassemble back the beds.
Over all I’m quite delighted with the support!! THANK YOU
I picked 1st Generation Moving LLC since they were the lowest quote that I had obtained. I worked with Travis on the initial day of reserving my movement and was really pleased. When I called back, I never talked with Travis again, I talked with Jeremy who had been harsh and quite impolite. I advised him that I’d rather speak with Travis and that he appeared to calm down and what appeared to be fine then. 1 week prior to my transfer I phoned to confirm with him, he advised me to not worry and I would know my transferring time in my date of transfer 48 hours before hand. I’d paid them my deposit of $230.00. 24 hours prior to my transfer, I called Jeremy again, he stated that the foreman stopped and that he promised he’d work out ways to receive my things to a truck. I had to call 3 times daily, with the guarantee that he would have somebody in my home, once I asked for a moment, none was granted. Whenever the moving date revealed, nobody showed up, nobody answered the telephone and after repeated calls, and emails, I needed to call the fraud department in my bank to recoup the money and have reported them to the greater buisiness agency. I wouldn’t recommend them if you don’t would like to get stranded day of with no one to move your things. They’re dishonest and incredibly unprofessional.
Unfortunately my experience on this business ended worst than it began. In the start Jimmy sounded helpful and informed us they would look after everything and we would have our possessions within 5-7 business days. However, it really took 11 days. They also refused to send out someone to my home to create a good quote. Did my quote over the telephone with Jimmy, and following the movers completed loading my possessions to the truck that they struck me up for each of the extra fees. They tried telling me that the quote said we were just moving using 5 boxes, even laughable to get a round state move, and also for all of the supplies they had used. Instead, they repacked alot of their possessions and took aside each and every bit of furniture, much the coffee table and television stand. They didnt take photos of whatever, so when my furniture has been delivered that the men had no clue what they had been working with. Speaking of the this provider outsoources the trucking business and movers that provide everything. These men were really professional and were so ashamed at the way 1st production simply threw items together..like seat legs within the dresser that scraped the interior and abandoned straight of wood splinter everywhere.Forgot to mention that after they picked up my possessions the communicating with Jimmy vanished. Waited a couple of days to phone him and everytime we called he didn’t have any clue where our possessions were and said he would call us back.Every single time that he said this he never called us backagain. We needed to phone him every day for lackluster upgrades. I would not ever recommend this firm to anybody. I believed we had been doing the very best thing going using a small/local small business. This has been a mistake, so your better off using the bigger businesses because they have had more practice in running a company and better guarantee your possessions.
I used 1st production moving business to relocate my mom from TX to MS.
Everything went nicely really straightforward move.
Thank you all
I’ve Never use a moving firm and was fearful but hay did a Fantastic job and by understanding what I had been making it Simple for my quotation….jb
1st Generation Transferring sent me a packaging and moving quote. They didn’t ship an estimator and that I requested to do this repeatedly since their price was too good to be true. I made it crystal clear that I didnt need to be haggeling the motorist on the afternoon of the packaging. The broker made it very clear that there would not be a issue. Hay Simhon the proprietor can also be correlated with this other moving firm That Has Been accused of theft and bad business practice:
http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/movers/american-knights-moving-and-storage-in-dallas-tx-90222840
Driver and 3 other people showed up. After one hour the driver begins to ask me to get more money. I wound up paying an extra $700 on the place.
I compensated for packaging but they didn’t bring enough packaging materials. They used my private household products including boxes I’d bought costing me $75
I had a fresh new iPhone docking channel in it’s original box. The driver/owner placed tape on hand and it carried it into the truck. This was the last I saw of it. The driver claims he personally put it in the vehicle that he sublet to another firm who sent it. So every organization is blaming another and I’m stuck in the middle. Price: $700
They promised to get my own possessions delivered on 8/19. I have the emails to prove it. The owner said that I had been lying because his folks would not guarantee that. I forwarded the emails and never heard back from the man. I had to understand because I had been hiring unpackers at Chicago. Due to his lack of commmunication, I needed to program and cancel the unpackers a few times. They stated they’d be in my new location on Sunday 8/21 in 2PM but didnt appear till 5:30P and that’s when I detected 1st Generation subcontracted into a outfit Im not knowledgeable about. I needed to cancel and rebook the unpackers for Tuesday so that I moved a total of 4 nights at a hotel room. I bought an airline ticket to be here if the furniture arrived and it was moot since they didnt keep their guarantee of 8/19 delivery. $1,000
Legs to leather couch were eliminated by driver/owner in Dallas. The couch came without 2 legs which makes it a worthless piece of furniture. . $2,500
2 lost boxes Which Were packed and recorded on the stock but not delivered: $1,000
Punitive damages such as emotional stress, loss of work, a Lot of times tracking down the owner to obtain the delivery date, canceling and rescheduling unpackers: $3,000
