The driver was quite pleasant. And cautious. Everything went nicely. I would recommend this business to my family and friends.

    Long-distance move from Huntsville, AL
Cancelled last minute, Poor Customer Service

Bottom Line Up Front: hardly any effort must supply polite/courteous Client support, a true contract/agreement (with policies contained ), supported pickup/delivery time/date, and also get info to your carrier. 1st American does not of the

First call went nicely. Dependent on the first quotation, I scheduled automobiles for pick-up approximately a couple of weeks out from desired date.

After requesting double for formal a quotation, I got a text just email with price quote along with DOT number. I asked formal quotes, insurance policies, pickup and shipping dates, a real contract or agreement, employee contact info, etc. many instances (via email since I could not receive my contact”Richard” on your telephone anymore), but not got any additional details.

I asked the advice three times per week before scheduled pickup. My automobiles were scheduled to get pickup on Monday. In 5PM that the Friday before, I still had no verification or some of the data previously asked. Following another email Richard advised me he had been awaiting carrier information.

I asked for confirmation that the automobiles had been at least being picked-up on Monday. Richard responded that I need to give him until Saturday afternoon (effectively less than one day before scheduled pickup ) to come across a carrier (even though he previously mentioned he had been awaiting a single time window).

Via email, I voiced my issue (politely) together with all the deficiency of advice, contract, communicating, and also quite abrasive answers exhibited for this work and asked a telephone call to talk. Via e mail, Richard reacted with”it appears that you’re among the clients that’s going to be a massive hassle generally. So I shall go ahead and simply cancel the purchase.”

Cancel this Purchase! Effectively less than one day before scheduled pickup?

    Quite an intriguing reaction.

As a client, I provided invaluable comments as to why I have issues with my automobiles being picked up and delivered in time, preparation, communicating, and client maintenance; and also 1st American cancels this purchase.

I’d have expected a phone (since I could not attain Richard by telephone ) to talk; nevertheless, it appears like 1st American does not have any interest in doing this. Much more disappointing than anything else.

Only a Couple words of information for all automobile shipping companies:

    — I am not positive if Richard is the proprietor, worker, volunteer, etc.. Does not matter. Constructive criticism (notably directly and politely provided) may be used for private in addition to business success.

    — Richard said that I was going to become a”hassle”. I’d strongly imply any automobile transport company recognize nothing that I asked is beyond the standard for virtually any business (i.e. pricing, automobile policies, pickup and shipping dates, a real contract or agreement, contact info, etc.).

    — Providing documentation and information is not a hassle. It is called customer support.

    — Don’t forget that old expression”You get more flies with honey”, it is absolutely true particularly in client services. If you are not happy in client assistance, proceed to another person. Find what you like.

    — As confessed in my first phone call with 1st American car Transport, I have never been employed in the automobile transport company and I have just had a car shipped once (seller coordinated). This is a learning experience for me personally. I would advocate using these opportunities to aid clients like myself, never to get frustrated by Q&A.

    — Cross-country transport for something as pricey as a car is about enough to get a client without including the pressure of last minute scheduling and coordination (one of everything else which the client is attempting to coordinate in precisely the exact same time).

    — Cross-country transport for something as pricey as a car is about enough to get a client without including the stress of last minute dip. If you’re not able to adapt, allow the customer know sooner instead of later.

Advice for all clients of any automobile transport company.

    — If you do not receive a formal recorded cost, contract/agreement with added insurance policy announcement, and get info daily 1 of this procedure; look elsewhere

    — If you do not have a verified date/time window and carrier contact data at the least five (5) business days out from the anticipated pick-up date; then look elsewhere

    — operate directly with a provider. Attempt to prevent auto transport agents. Agents don’t have any capability to plan or coordinate outside transportation. They start the task for bids and then await somebody to bite. Most carriers Will Have the Ability to adapt your transportation should you give them lots of notice (particularly more than fourteen days )
