Good Hands Moving

We reserved our relocation with Great Hands Transferring for 12/29; if team showed up and we showed them how that the area of the project they said they’d want additional time and more team to finish. We advised them that was absolutely alright, and we’d pay for however many hours and individuals were needed to finish move. They could not receive any out more movers to assist, and job had been cancelled after 3 months because of inclement weather. I talked with the proprietor afternoon, and told me we knew why they could not finish the move on 12/29, but we had been contractually bound to stand out by midnight on 12/30–we’d sold the house and our ownership merely continued through 12/30. He promised me they’d possess the movement complete at the time period. The following day my husband and I also talked to the proprietor in person, to be able to acquire the bookkeeping of team size and total hours to be able –we told him we needed to ensure we had been compensating them correctly. He explained it had been his fault for not asking enough questions regarding the move before scheduling, and again promised our move could be finished.

After asserting our relocation could be finished by midnight on 12/30, the builder again failed to comply by their own verbal arrangement. They informed us they’d return another day by their own truck to complete, and if they had been an hour late to arrive, and we achieved and were informed that they weren’t forthcoming, and they believed that the move intact. We had to scramble to locate people prepared to assist us on New Year’s Eve, needed to cover them double their speed ($600 total), and are currently being prosecuted for breach of contract since we were not from our house from the date of our contract. This may cost us tens of thousands in lawyers fees at the minimum. “Good Hands” Transferring additionally ruined a household classic that has been recently assessed at $2300. In all, selecting this contractor will COST US almost $10,000 and we’re strongly considering bringing them to small claims court for the complete quantity.

The proprietor was rude and confrontational as we have attempted to work towards a settlement, has whined about his guarantee to finish our relocation, and contains suggested we had been attempting to get services at no cost, later telling us it had been his fault for never obtaining sufficient information, and later refusing additional charge. He’s refused to take any responsibility. We really liked his team quite a little, however, proprietor is AWFUL. I totally agree with what other reviewers have stated about this business –no authenticity. When they don’t feel like going on the day you have paid and scheduled for, then you are up a creek.
