We obtained our first moving quote for Texas to Las Vegas from the business by telephone for $1995 and also an email verification on 11/2/2014. Pickup of our family products was 11/17/2014. Shipping was 12/6/2014. The quote was based on that which we told them we had and we asked for somebody to come out and evaluate our relocation, but they did not. We went around and counted our merchandise and quantified everything and the quote was increased to $3569. After the driver came to pick up the merchandise, he corrected it again because he said the price was more based on the footage. Now the cost was 5438. I paid all but $2380 that was caused by postal money order or cash upon delivery. I disputed my bill, and also the Operations Supv took off $380 and stated to provide the motorist $2000 upon delivery. He never told that the driver about the shift and the driver wouldn’t unload unless we paid the 2380. I just had $2000 in postal money orders and this was already after the banks shut. This truck had given five additional heaps and we had been last he explained. Driver said he’d stay overnight and telephone in morning. I called Greatest Moving and requested them to straighten out this. Operations had gone home and they couldn’t reach him. I inquired for Supv. Who said he’d attempt to achieve Operations Supv. After a few calls back and forth, they said that I was right and just owed $2000 plus they’d advise the motorist in the morning that they never did. The motorist called me in the afternoon and explained the only way I would get my home goods would be to lease a U-haul truck and match him at the parking lot of the Palace Station Casino since he refused to attract his enormous return into our apartment complex. I leased a 10 feet U-haul for an extra $100 plus mileage and gas. I’m disabled and needed to employ my granddaughter and boyfriend to push the U-haul truck. They moved back and forth using 2 1/2 loads. The motorist took off and did the other load and left his next driver to unload the semi at the parking lot and also in the flat with the children. U-haul stated we utilized approx. 300 sq feet and were billed on the initial paperwork for 900 sq. ft., therefore I believe I had been overcharged. Additionally, they delivered things not ours and lots of my stuff has been broken. I kept calling back Revenue to take care of the issues and they stated Operations was different and really in Houston. This was a dreadful experience. The packaging was dreadful. The scratching and breakage of furniture is all on images. I didn’t file a claim since I just get 60 cents per item in accordance with their contract. I really don’t understand what you could do about these, but somebody needs to do some thing about how they make the most of individuals. I must have read the reviews before I hired them, however, I did not have a lot of selection for movers from Hallsville, TX to Las Vegas, NV.
