We contracted a business inside the US to transfer our personal belongings back to the UK. They subsequently contracted Eurogroup.
Though we paid that the US firm up front in total for the transfer, we ended up paying Eurogroup circa #8000 more. They literally held us hostage and would not consent to schedule the delivery of their possessions until we’d physically paid all of their extra fees (and these extra charges themselves climbed from approximately #3000 to approximately #8000). These extra charges were at the top of the 20000 we’d already paid in america.
They’re a terrible company to take care of. Avoid at any cost.
Avoid at any cost. Euro group were payed by my own global movers to move everything in, unpack and build. They didn’t unpack or build. Very hurried service. Broke the couch leg then denied it. Very bad communication.
These folks are cowboys. Do not be duped by so called institution membership. Terrible experience, they caused #14000 of harm to furniture. Crew were incompetent idiots. They used the wrong sized automobile, the driver couldn’t flip the truck around since the street was to narrow and ruined a bus stop authorities were called. The business is run by a family using dubious procedures. They refused to pay their debts or apologise for the dreadful support.
Prevent this great deal in any respect costs, euro group global movers are cowboys.
Chose this business since the rep they delivered to fulfill us was capable and lovely. Each of the other major shipping companies’ quotes were similar. From the time of the movement she was no longer with the organization. 1st flag.
I had a crisis in the united states, so we needed to utilize their packaging support. Our things needed to enter a storage device, and we weren’t able to reach a few of our boxes for more than a month. First few boxes started found us in shock seeing our pricey garments (leather shorts, silk shirt, suit coats ) rolled into a ball and shoved into a box. This has been our 1st point of contact, at which we simply pretty much heard a load of crap around the time period being beyond 30 days, etc.,. Not even a true apology. 7 months after we received the remainder of our storage locker. They did a wonderful job wrap the majority of our large things, with the exclusion of a massive scuff on the bed frame.
Nonetheless, what sent me a little over the border was discovering my own Laura Ashley lampshade stuffed into a plastic IKEA box. It had been wrapped in newspaper, but not coated, rather than boxed. The lampshade was too large for the box to start with so the internal liner of it had been cracked across the entire interior shade. Totally inexcusable.
If I’d read more reviews like mine, then I certainly wouldn’t have selected Euro Group.
Unhelpful and competitive
My matters were in jack and they informed me timelines and did not inform me about some retains – I needed to call them to learn more about them and frankie allegedly scheduler could not inform me restricted dates and did not inform me about some possible delays due to keeping – unhelpful – if you need peace and ease of mind do not use them
