    Long-distance move from Ontario
    Move Toronto to Montreal

The movers came on time however that I had 5 more boxes than I’d told that the moving firm, my cost offered improved $140. It took just 1.5 hours to load up the vehicle. I had been told when I didn’t wish to cover the excess I could leave the boxes there. I had no option but to consent to this additional charge. The following day again that the movers were on time to create the delivery. I’d paid already in my quotation a stair fee ( two flights) of 150. Seemingly a stair fee is from the measures, this was not said, never spoke about yet they assert they have down it as 14 measures. My choice once more was to pay an additional $150 or so the motorists could take up the delivery the 14 measures and leave it on there. They had been unloaded and sent in just 1 hour.
I’ve dealt with several moving companies and this really is the worst ever. I strongly suggest that you look around. . They don’t work together with their clients and if they are you at a take it or leave it standing they’ll jack up your cost.

    Long-distance move from Brandon, MB
    The worst moving company ever

We proceeded with this business in July of 2015 that they gave us a business quotation and then on arrival that was 12 hours late jacked up my cost asserting I whined in my contents by 2000.00. They had the specific boxes and things when offered on the transfer. My furniture came from Brandon into Medicine Hat 6 months after only after several telephone calls and threats of legal actions. They blew a bike in Swift Current and needed the chunks toncall me and ask me to be responsible for the repairs. When they first arrived in my location that they backed in my complicated and struck an axel in their trailer at which they filled my possessions. Instead, they toke that trailer into a repair area where it is at for fourteen days. They’d refused to cover the repair invoice with the proprietor meanwhile all of my articles s sat unlocked at a unsecured great deal for fourteen days. When my furniture eventually came I needed to arrange for different folks to help me moan because just the motorist came with the vehicle. When he started the trailer everything seemed liked they simply had thrown items in nothing had been packaged correctly nothing had been wrapped furniture had been gouged our TVs shattered custom made furniture completely ruined it was a transfer from hell. I received the owner Jamie online and he simply yells at me and says good fortune with obtaining a claim from him since he also canceled my insurance I had with the transfer. Happily I had good home insurance together with TD. My son moved into their workplace at Aldergrove and what he discovered there was which they were found at a location where they sell secondhand furniture therefore that I personally believe that a great deal of people’s things ended up theirown. A whole lot of our things that we had never came so I think they took matters they desired tools were lost. Had I never persisted probably all of my things they’d have retained.

They canceled the day before our moving day

Worst experience ever. At 8 pm on Monday they stopped us, when our booking has been on Tuesday morning. And we also had the movers. They canceled everything in the last moment, using a brief and chilly mail. We’re stuck in Toronto, having difficulty to get a last minute truck and filling it by ourselves to visit Montreal only on time for our first day in our new job place. In short, it is the nightmare of all moves.

    Moving Review

We recently used the CANADIAN NATIONAL VAN LINES for transferring to Ontario.

Prior to really minding the deal, what went smooth. We decided the pickup date and movers arrived first.

We showed that what had to be wealthy. We have packed a great deal of boxes, but we are not entirely finished packaging. Movers began to put things into vacant boxes to find everything loaded. They were racing rather than paying attention. I have counseled to take it easy on specific things and they had been great for a little time period. Movers had lots of blankets to wrap round TVs and other things. But when moving furniture that the flooring (Laminate) got scraped and the entry door flowed, they did not appear to care about doing it.

Before booking, we had been advised that it might take 7-12 days in the pickup date, so we booked the flight nearer to the guaranteed date, but it took three weeks for items to arrive. We attempted to receive our things earlier and they accommodated us for the entire one-day, therefore we (single mother with two children and one infant ) lived with no things (particularly baby things ) for a certain time.

In 5 pm (1 hour ahead of their workplace closure time), we receive a call saying that we need to cover (eTranfer, money or bank draft) that the complete amount so as to receive our things unloaded the following moment. We attempted, but were not capable to e-Transfer the entire amount because of the daily allowable limits. We attempted to perform another e-Transfer the subsequent day, however, it did not move as banks let a particular limitation to be moved over 24hrs. We didn’t know that. I feel it is dependent upon a financial institution account type.

The movers arrived another day a requested for the outstanding sum to be paid and to signal that all boxes are still in good shape before unloading. We had been advised, if movers wait over 15 minutes, then they’d charge a waiting fee also that the remainder to be paid instantly.

When completed gluing, the furniture has been ruined, somehow the sofa got a sharpie markers on it (was wrapped in vinyl by movers after picked up)and also a significant volcano was busted (glass smashed , the box had large letters on it glass( brittle ), a few dishes were smashed, boxes seemed like they had been thrown about and had holes in them. We picked up brand new boxes and a few wheels that were used, but made certain that there were not any holes in them before packaging. Two glass doors of the wardrobe went lost. The workplace wheels were lost. 1 box (number 78) has been lost.

For this date we still haven’t seen the bill from this organization.

We were not expecting this kind of support in the”Supposedly well established firm”.

    Canadian Van lines

Just happened to find these testimonials that brought back memories of my encounter together in 2014 and also my complaint registered with the BBB. I contracted Canadian Van traces on October 17 to pickup and Deliver the contents of my dads house from Digby N.S into St, Catharines Ontario, I had been debited a charge card deposit of 1600 bucks. The purpose was to make delivery of those goods within a fair quantity of time and has been advised originally in 12 days.It is currently November 23rd and I haven’t got the merchandise or been advised where they’re being held. I’ve yet to get a company deliver date. Unknown to me at the time of pickup the firm subcontracted a leading company to collect the products in Digby after coming 4 hours late and allegedly transport the merchandise for their own Lively Road warehouse at Sackville for a later pickup to ST.Catharines. This firm through a 3 way telephone conversations to Canadian Van traces plus that I threatened to market these products for failure of charge for their part of the transfer. In accordance with Canadian Van traces that was seemingly solved by the 2 parties. I’ve been awarded many explanations regarding why this delivery was produced by several parties at the business who all claim to become supervisors or supervisors of the business. These vary from sickness of these motorists to breakdowns of these vehicles, I also have been assured compensation for the delay. I have never been in a position to verify the place of these merchandise since they’ve told me that they had been at their own Lively Road place in Sackvile. After sending an agent into the centre to fulfill their representative who they promised me are that he found nobody in any way. The agent managed to get in touch with the first mover using a contact number in the website who may simply say that he had the merchandise and they had been”secure” but wasn’t eager to disclose the place of their warehouse. As of the moment I’m again waiting on a different telephone”tomorrow”to affirm another presumed delivery date. . This was be more than year and just after I paid off the hauling company to transfer my merchandise with no extra compensation or balancing out of Canadian Van lines. A lot of the products were damaged because of handling and storage. The organization” is really a sham!

    Out of Business!

This might be premature, but I’m not discovering Canadian Van Lines online, nor are some of the phone numbers I can now find recorded in support (1-800-997-5898; 204-201-0591 Winnipeg; 604-648-8661 Vancouver; Coronation Van Lines includes two amounts that 2 of the amounts recorded are delegated to a person currently and 604-336-7546 isn’t in support ). Could this really be the conclusion of the business that owes a lot of individuals and companies great sums? . . .That have lied and deceived so a lot of men and women? . . .That function as unjust as a company possible can?!! I surely hope so and I trust that my efforts over the previous 15 months, along with the efforts of so many more, have all contributed to James Mahama and Bakari Usseni along with their organization, Canadian Van Lines, falling! You get what you sow!!

These men are scammers and liarss. We proceeded together July 2015. They have been late picking up from 12 hours they then desired 2000 more promising we wonder how far they had been going even when they had been awarded a complete comprehensive list of everything was being transferred. It took them 6 weeks to provide our stuff out of brandon to medication hat. It was just delivered following our boy paid their one guy off ice hockey trip. He had been advised to leave and has been threatened with physical violence by Jamie Johnson exactly the identical idiot that I was coping with. Following a 45 minute dialogue on the ph together with my son that was not agreeable to say the very least they eventually understood it’d be in their very best interest to send our belongings. Our items were eventually delivered all damaged to the tune of $50,000. Their office in mostly was found at a secondhand furniture market store at which likely much off the furniture which they did not deliver to clients were probably slough off. All these people today will need to be researched and charged with fraud. Not one of the offices listed in their site exist. They’re all phoney. These men ought to be placed out of the business. Not 1 thing that they sent was wrapped that which was thrown from drawers with clothes dropped out. Not 1 peice of furniture arrived undamaged. Our insurance provider essentially wrote off everything nothing was salvageable. These individuals are disgusting crooks and must be avoided in any way costs.

    Unethical, inprofessional movers

Nearly a year ago we hired this firm to move our belongings from Canada to US. Following 3 weeks list into their lies and tolerating their unprofessional behaviour we chose to let a U-HAUL to bring our stuff ourselves. They promised to repay us at a month but after eight months that they have not honored their guarantees yet.

If you’re planning to hire a mover stay away from the provider.
This firm is just fraud and can be run by a single individual from his living area. All speeches that they have in their internet sites are imitation. I’ve personally assess their Manitoba workplace; it does not exist. There are numerous legal cases against them in BC court (check this link: https://justice.gov.bc.ca/cso/esearch/civil/partySearch.do); kind from”Canadian Van traces” from the”search box” you will find a listing of allegations. Additionally, in case you look for”Coronation Van lineup” you will see more. (You may see the record of court cases from the attachment). This firm used to run under the”Coronation Van lineup” before 2014. Due to flatulent clinic and thus many allegations they’ve changed the title of business. However, their bank accounts remains under the older name.
They may provide you greater price compared to other movers, but they will take your cash and will not perform the job. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Here is the upgrade of my critique on Dec 2, 2015.

I eliminated my posting since they promised to cover my cash in January 2016. Because they broke his promise and didn’t repay mepersonally, I re-upload my critique in Feb.. This week they phoned me and threaten me that they were planning to sue mepersonally. Not only they’ve taken my money and did not perform the shipping, but they’re asking for reduction of earnings for my review about them. Please be cautious and do not be caught by these unprofessional men and women. Read other folks reviews to find out what sort of business it is. This firm does not have a concrete place, trucks or some other personnel. Each of the addresses in various states you see in their website are imitation. Phone numbers will also be imitation and all are redirected to a individual, James! Be cautious to your sake!

We’re carrying this slow-moving moving company to court. We hired them in July 2015 to maneuver our belonging from Canada into U.S. and cover them entirely upfront. After lying to us for 3 weeks about when they’d do the dispatch, the past month we chose to perform the moving ourselves by leasing a U-HAUL truck. They promised to repay us inside a week at October 2015. However, after a month that they have not done that. We’ve retained a lawyer and are taking them to court. Came back the next day to perform the loading. The furniture has been treated quite well, shrink wrap and blanketed. Two times as promised I obtained my contents in Winnipeg. Bought them pizza and beverages since they offloaded. Entire my move went really well and have already recommended the company into some friend and relative. Thank you to everything.-Claire Shultz

    A MILLION THANKYOU'S

This company saved in the very last moment, I had been disappointed by a different firm who failed to reveal. My neighbor Canadian Van Lines, the client support reacted very well, they cost matched another firm that was very moral of these.
They deployed a local group, who I have to say were totally brilliant, they packaged my 4 bedroom Calgary townhouse within 4 hours.
My contents were sent to Salmon Arm the following day, offloaded, nothing broken.
Definitely recommend. Due to James, Carolyn, Greg, Martin and?

    GREAT SERVICE

When they first came to pay a visit to my 80 year-old mother, they were quite detailed and gave her a verbal quote, followed by a few days afterwards by a written quote. When they arrived to package on a Saturday, they did an exceptional packaging job and subsequently returned on Monday to transfer everything. My mum’s cat receding (cuz that is how in which the kitty rolls) and the movers have been very super nice and pleasant to assist settle the kitty and get her from injuries way.The move went very easily. They showed up on time, so it required the quantity of time that they anticipated, nothing got broken, and the movers had been actually great about moving furniture into where my mother needed it, among the movers needed a great deal of attention to receive my mum’s bed setup, etc.. My mother even ended up spending a couple of hundred bucks less than the quote because she did a packaging up front. She would put them again and had been treated over quite – quite well.

Note: This can be upgrade of my review in August 20, which I eliminated to be able to send this upgraded version.

Winnipeg – NewWest moving, 1 bdr.

6 distinct guaranteed dates of delivery, 1.5 weeks of delay (for the second ), still waiting at a vacant flat, with no essentials.
Constant claims, all sorts of lies (such as even most impudent ones), they never call back to their initiative, also do not pick up telephone, even hanging this up on us. Should you handle this business, you may hear”You’re so bothersome”,”Do not disturb me”,”I am so busy, I’ve a good deal of clients… [hang up]” and (latest and hopefully the previous discussion )”You make me ill” in response to questions such as”Where’s our things?” And”You did not cover my storage, when?” . I am pretty confident in our latest conversation I also heard something about quality of my speech (which can be far from ideal, and I recognize that; we’re newcomers).

BTW, latest conversation was about taking back our stuff since we certainly cancelled Canadian Van Lines services. This folks can not even cancel their support without any problems and offences. My buddy cancelled their solutions too (after she watched what occurs to people ), and she also recieved offensive email.

Do not think a fantastic attitude will help – I am a very patient and considerate individual, and the one thing I ever wanted to understand was the reality. We waited and left improvements to them, and that I even advised them to my buddy (ridiculous of me), however they do not appreciate it whatsoever.

Afterward , we sent them a sizable friendly email, where we cautioned them that we’re going to police since we lost our things and cash, and kindly asked them to tackle something earlier this last hotel, but they did not respond with this email in any way. Before sending testimonials we also opened a BBB situation and waited for response from Canadian Van Lines. But nothing happened again. And just after all our attempts to achieve them I delivered this review.

I am quite outraged with all this mindset, in spite of the fact I am a calm individual.

About other favorable reviews: following all this 1.5 weeks of hardship we’ve all reasons to consider that this testimonials occasionally imitation, and at times really written to subcontractors, which Canadian Van Lines hires. They do not have any regard to Canadian Van Lines itself and high quality of the solutions. We also had such subcontractor, who picked up our things so as to send it into the storage on Canadian Van Lines’s benefit, and we are pleased about this subcontractor’s service quality, however Canadian Van Lines has nothing in common with this subcontractor.

Do not believe in James’s (or perhaps even Greg’s – that tells lies too) tales regarding their 150 movings each year (many of which are supposedly successful, and just few aren’t ), and about their 47 drivers around Canada. If it had been the fact, we’d already have our possessions.

Claim is already opened. Still awaiting our money back.

    Avoid this business!

    UPD:
Following this review, I had been jeopardized by James that when I won’te eliminate it, he’ll send negative testimonials about my company (I am a Graphic Designer). In addition, he wrote me (quotation ) that”I vow to God that I won’t ever send u a cent.” And”I stated. U won’t find a cent.” . So he isn’t likely to send us back our money, and will sue me for discuss my negative experience with this provider.

Alex gave me a very affordable and competitive quotation. On the afternoon of this movement, the young guys came on time and worked hard through out despite the lousy weather.   I had been quite impressed with their degree of professionalism, hard work and courteousness. My stuffs were wrapped and furniture/artwork were treated with caution. Alex remained true to his words. He was quite involved with the movement ensuring that everything went as planned and that I am quite thankful for since the last thing I wanted was just another stressor in my entire life. The floors were covered with carpeting to stop damages as outdoors was really moist. They left my move less stressful. Shipping was a day before with all my stuffs undamaged.  I am recommending them to my coworkers and friends. Thank you CVL for a Superb experience. :-RRB-

Don’t use this firm. It is only 1 man james working at home. He’ll never give you a direct answer and they won’t ever call you backagain. It is possible to call any amount from any state and figure what you buy james. We booked together, they requested to half up front (fair I believed ) then as soon as the afternoon came to proceed. They didn’t show, no telephone no more nothing. So I predicted, was advised truck broke down could be present in the day. Afternoon went and came. Called again, James stated they could not make it but would be there for certain the morning after, even affirmed by having an email. Next morning arrived, once more they did not show. No telephone or something. So called again said they are present in the day. Never revealed. So I needed to rent a uhaul and cover some men. I predicted countless times to receive my cash back. They shipped me an email stating they’d pay by specific date and time. It came and went, I really don’t know how often I had been told I’d find a refund. More than 100 mobiles calls and innumerable mails, bbb, canadian fraud protection, need correspondence, etc.. Now I am taking them to small claims court, which they do not intend on revealing. Therefore, in case you enjoy your hard earned cash or your possessions. STAY AWAY

    Avoid this moving company!

Ensure that you know that this isn’t the exact same firm since the Great Canadian Van Lines that is a respectable solid moving firm.  Canadian Van Lines seem to be essentially 1 individual (in every place ) working from the garage I believe with no credentials at all within this business.  Their site lists an erroneous speech in Langley and we could not locate a company licence for them in BC.  When we tried to speak to their”customer support” we heard their telephone system is mostly a voicemail router and we never did receive a call back from them.  The dispatcher (James) was quite bad at conveying about our shipping and essentially we were ultimately told they had been holding our merchandise before we agreed to pay IN FULL BEFORE they’d deliver to the last destination that delayed the shipping by two complete days costing us time and money.  The motorists (independent contractors) told us afterwards that they had been held up intentionally before final payment was obtained.  We never disputed the last payment, just was not aware that it was all due up front! A practice not typical from the moving business according to a lot of sources.  After many discussions on this, we agreed to cover in full in order to allow them to provide our products, and if we asked for them to send us a statement showing the Last sum because they contended they did not Have to Do that as We’d Find a Last invoice showing the payment amount.   I really don’t know about you, but I am not enthusiastic about enabling a person to control our credit card without even knowing the sum.  After more arguing, James eventually did email a statement and we got everything processed.  Of course at this time the motorists were re-routed for additional work and therefore the delay.  They eventually showed up at 11pm, two days late.   It pays to investigate these companies before agreeing to anything, since there are apparently many horror stories out there, and no one to control them.  Select one with a strong standing, existed and has a great BBB rating.
