McWhinnie Moving

Overview: Avoid, avoid, avoid. Completely irresponsible and unaccountable.
I contacted Dennis in McWhinnie moving after viewing a post on Craigslist. We settled on a price tag, time/day and exactly what I had transferred.
On the afternoon of this transfer, I called Dennis and left a message to confirm that movers were still coming. I never heard back, however, presumed that everything was still OK.
If the movers were 15 minutes late, I called Dennis. He replied and said”they are about the road, should be there shortly.” So I waited another 15 minutes, and called him again. Dennis stated he’d”call the movers, see what was happening, and call me back”
30 more minutes go by, no call back from Dennis. I phoned him a couple more days, but he did not reply. Clearly the movers never showed up. However, what absolutely surprised me was that Dennis did not have the decency to acknowledge that nobody was likely to appear.
So there I was, using a home all packed up, leasing truck backed up to my doorway, waiting for help that never came. That is an unpleasant position, to say the very least. Locate a respectable firm, even when they cost more, because proceeding is a massive bargain – the moment, worries, and all of your things – and – hiring a fantastic location is money well spent.

I talked with Dennis to put up labour to assist me transfer things out of a storage unit into my new residence. Two guys were supposed to come back at 8:00 am. After waiting until 8:30 to allow them to arrive, I called Dennis and he explained that he only found out the men were not arriving, with no extra explanation. He said he’d send somebody else out and that they would arrive at 45 minutes. I waited for another hour and called Dennis for an upgrade, and he did not answer. I left a message requesting an upgrade, and he never returned my phone, and he didn’t answer some additional calls. The point is, I wasted two hours waiting for those men to appear, and Dennis did not have the courtesy to inform me that it was not going to workout. If your time is valuable to you, do not bother with McWhinnie Moving.

From when I phoned them to discuss my move that I had done from 1 flat to the next Dennis was quite professional on the telephone. They showed up on time and also did the movement much quicker than I thought. They were very hard working professional and incredibly great. They did what ever was asked of these and a whole lot more. I would recommend this business to anybody who’s trying to find a mover. Nothing has been broken or scraped. All and all this was a Fantastic business and I was very Pleased with there support
