Proceed was uneventful. I had been well prepared rather than demanding. Upon unpacking, a lamp color was lost. I made multiple connections with the workplace free of acknowledgement. Finally got in contact Customer Support and has been instructed to begin a claim by submitting images of those missing things. They’re missing…I can not take pictures of these. Took a photo of this lamp with no shade and a fitting lamp shade as it had been a part of a pair. Were told that they’d cover a claim based on the weight of this colour. What? I’m convinced that is the contract I consented. To get a professional (I am using the word loosely) moving business to fall back to a technicality, not make it appropriate for a client, I am appalled. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!
Back in October, 2019, I had been given a quote of $549 for two MEN & 1 TRUCK, to get an estimated demand of 3 months, to transfer my daughter’s possessions ((that I explained to sales rep in detail) in a tiny 1 bedroom flat in Crystal into a storage center about 1 mile off.
After being told they’d arrive between 3 or 2 p.m. on October 30. Ultimately at 5:30, 3 guys and one truck showed up. Soon, as they were so late, they proposed bringing a different truck & two more guys to make it move quicker without describing clearly how much more they’d bill until she signed the paper work. They also told my daughter she would have to find an extra storage device (that was unnecessary since the first was not stuffed ) which required much longer.
At the conclusion THEY CHARGED $1374.49 FOR 5 MEN TAKING 4 HOURS that’s ridiculous. I listened to this”coach” on the telephone, and had been advised they’d provide me a 10% reduction for being so late and that someone would call me another day to go over my complaint along with the fee. Neither occurred. I called the sales rep which gave me the first quote quote & left two messages. Two days after he made a message for me stating he couldn’t imagine how that might have occurred, but he had no power to accomplish anything. He said he steered my complaints into this”customer service representative” who’d treat me. For this day, they do not answer their telephones and haven’t returned a phone to me once I’ve left countless messages within the previous two and 1/2 weeks. After, Mariah, the so-called client support representative, answered the telephone and allegedly took down all of my info and said she would look in to it. For this day, she hasn’t communicated with me in any manner. I contested the charges on my credit card, but AAA MOVERS delivered them transferring documents that’d innacurate and bogus information written by a few of the movers onto it. They also sent a set of packing materials and services they assert they supplied, and that, in reality, they didn’t.
I’ve registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but beware of the provider! On their site they claim they”try to make gratification””ensuring it’s done correctly” and using a”staff there to help at any problem prior to, during, and following the transfer”. Apparently, in our experience, they don’t fulfill their promises. It appears exactly the opposite: once they got my credit card number (and reluctantly charged me nearly 3 times the sum projected ),while praying to have the decency to speak with me about it, they could not care less. This expertise along with disrespectful therapy has caused me intense stress, psychological, physical, and fiscal stress throughout the past 2+ weeks. Being a honest, reliable person who attempts to search for the very best in people, I’m sorely disheartened and frustrated a business like AAA movers may eliminate these unethical practices!
My transfer cost twice as far as my initial quote.
I called to speak to customer support , they said someone would call me back to talk, nobody did and that they only charged my account anyway although I had signed to the fee. Mariah was designed to phone me back twice now. Really horrible management and no client support.
EDIT: Now I am missing things together with all this!
EDIT 1.16.20 I discovered my lost things at the hallway of the previous flat. My office chair. In addition you billed my account without my permission. You did not even request a payment system and I advised dispatch I wished to speak to customer support before I had been changed.
We only transferred 120 and miles in the cities. AAA Movers were excellent during the whole practice. We use the”de-clutter” alternative and it worked out great. The only hiccup was when they loaded the top portion of a China cupboard among those men inadvertently pit his knee through a few of those side glass panels (which they cared for following the conclusion of this movement ), nobody’s fault only an accident…
We had been quoted one truck and 3 men, the day of the transfer that they showed up with two trucks and four men but remained true to their quotation despite the inclusion of this 1 truck and individual…
Overall a very nice and professional expertise,in spite of the 1 hiccup. I’d utilize AAA again and would not hesitate to urge them!!
Thank you…
I was pleasantly pleased with the smooth procedure it required to begin and finish this movement of my company out of Bloomington to downtown Minneapolis. Three of the greatest showed up, Matthew, both Nate and Isaac have been on time, considerate and entertaining spirited. They’re always worried about our needs and desires.
I strongly recommend this business.
Movers worked hard all day together with even taking a rest, I’ll work in couple of months once I go into my new property.
We proceeded using AAA 18 months back and it was awesome. We had three movers along with a single truck and they have been quickly that an efficient and came in below the estimate. We only moved now with 6 movers along with two trucks along with also the identical family and it took more! I was quoted the exact identical amount as my transfer 18 months before, however, the price was twice. Their”boss” had a horrible job seeker and once I requested him to find everybody moving somewhat quicker (later we were already 3 hours following the job must have been achieved ), he gave me a massive mindset and then refused to speak to me to the remaining portion of the transfer. I called and spoke to some component owner and he explained I needed to pay the entire cost and then we’d attempt to figure out a settlement. According to other reviews I’d read, I knew I was not likely to receive any cash back into any timely manner.
They also had other movers who could take very smallish heaps and then would vanish for 5-10 minutes prior to taking a different load. I would not use them again unless I knew the team that has been going to use me.
So no one known me to aaa inspector I discovered them from the phonebook. That is how long I’ve done business with the corporation. I use the 3 occasions referred them several times. The previous time I use them I had been quoted one quote and end up paying $300 more. Went to pickup my spare boxes did not find out before I got there that there was a deposit to get the boxes. They first two times I used that business my motions in which anxiety free.
We’ve moved several times and AAA Movers is now definitely the WORST moving business we’ve ever employed.
Under lent and tried to overcharge before delivery. We had to struggle to get them honour their contract with their danger of needing to float. They tried to overcharge by almost $4k.
Understaffed for loading and packaging inducing a 8 hour delay in the guaranteed passing period.
Understaffed for unloading and it took over 12 hours to unload.
Broke 3 things, one being a household, and we’re still struggling to have reimbursed.
STAY AWAY!!
I utilized AAA Movers to help inspire my household out of Eden Prairie to Lakeville at March 2017. I can not let you know how happy I was using their own services.
But, specialist, and complete the quote I had been supplied was within $100. I was quite happy considering that they packaged and moved all of my possessions. Quoted $2,890 along with the real was $2,978
I would strongly recommend.
We had the very best movers. Terry, Isaac, and Kevin. They were amazing came up and introduced themselves and shook her handson. They were class actions. They did an wonderful job, very professional. I strongly suggest AAA Movers!!!!
My girlfriend and I’d AAA movers go her past Summer. The price was over $3,000 for example an insurance policy transfer contract. The movers were originally good but because of equipment malfunctions that the foreman lost his cool and started yelling in the movers and really rammed the loading dip into her possessions in the semi. In the conclusion a $4,000 table has been destroyed together with a $400 desk. After over 6 weeks AAA stated they were sorry that the move went so bad and agreed to cover the 400 desk along with the overcharge, however the $4,000 table, well that was not likely to be coated as they believed it was preexisting harm. The dining table has a busted leg how would the movers managed to wrap this up in that condition and why can the insurance policy stock possess the dining table marked as good/perfect condition.
Everybody could have a bad day, it is how you manage your mistakes that states everything and nobody should have to struggle to get a business stand by their own clear contractual duties.
Where to even begin. Well, like most others we heard of those men on KFAN and they seemed like a great moving company. We proceeded back in 2014 and’d all of our things saved in 8-9 vaults for approximately 18 months inside their warehouse since our household moved from the nation. Unlike what they say, our things weren’t inventoried when we transferred so we needed to mail them after the fact to get this completed. We wanted to have the ability to have things out of our vaults occasionally when we had been back in the nation and it is almost impossible to locate things if you do not understand which vault they’re in. First off, they cost $60/hour minimal to take your own vaults down for one to look inside. Since they didn’t stock our things at the right time of their transfer, they needed to take all our vaults down, vacant them, and inventory. Thus when the time came to get our things returned to us, then surprise things were lost! In actuality, more than 10,000 worth of things were lost.
After we contacted AAA relating to this, in the very beginning they had been responsive and appeared willing to assist. That lasted for about two weeks, then it had been nearly impossible to make them respond (view other reviews who had comparable customer support problems ). I was finally fed up so that I showed up on website, and had been advised to return in a couple of days along with the warehouse supervisor would provide help. As soon as I return, all of the vaults we utilized formerly was reduced. This was all for window dressing, since the warehouse supervisor said that there wasn’t any purpose in taking a look at another vaults once I’d looked through one and our things weren’t in there. This was not surprising, but by this stage these vaults were re-used. It was evident that our things were probably lost in the time that they had been drained to be inventoried.
After addressing this mess for more than 4 weeks and getting almost no answers to our inquiries inquiries, I eventually got a call from”Brent” who promised me he’d manage the problem like all the others before he’d said. I had a few discussions with him, and he said that if nothing else, then AAA’d”insurance” that paid out 60 pennies on the dollar. Like nearly everything we were informed from AAA, it was incorrect. We are to find out that they cover 60 cents dependent on the weight of these things, so that they generously offered to pay us $600 on our products valued at $10,000. The proprietor emailed back us and pointed out that we’d signed up the disclaimer pointing out that this truth, that no longer doubt did. But, we had been advised to”sign here, sign here, sign here” in the right time of this transfer that we did. We weren’t verbally informed what could happen if they dropped or ruined our things, which they routinely perform based from clients testimonials.
These folks are complete scammers, so they hide behind boilerplate speech once they damage or lose your things. The proprietor,”John”, emailed his settlement and in the class of those email exchanges said many things which were factually incorrect, which we could show by our personal correspondence. Today we must go through small claims courtroom or the BBB only to attempt to find a fair resolution.
I wouldn’t ever use this company again, they use unethical business practices and also understand that should they lose or damage your things, there’s minimal price in their own end. Consider yourself warned.
Don’t use AAA Movers! They’re dreadful. Here is actually the worst moving experience we have every had and we have moved a great deal. They’ll make lots of promises but will not deliver. Their packaging schedule was dreadful and understaffed, their loaders were assumed to appear involving 8-10am and they showed up at 4pm, we weren’t from the home until early the following morning to close on the sale of it. We’re supposed to take delivery of our products no later than June 27th and they just told us it’ll be a time following the 4th of July. What about the arrangement which states great will be sent between 21 and 27 July? The products are packed up for weekly but they have not budged. . .they are literally sitting in a truck somewhere. The business is unresponsive once you call to consult with a person or get advice. The movement is a complete catastrophe. . .and we have not even got our products yet!
On 5/4 I contracted AAAmovers to transfer my home from MN to GA.. The salesperson was Chris Kurr and we talked about how the transfer will be. Chris wasn’t comprehensive and mainly presented advertising stuff about AAA and Arpin.I shared with Chris the very simple truth that we’re selling our home and moving into an apartment. Chris did NOT respond to my opinion concerning the flat rather than mention to me either verbally or in writing concerning potential additional charges.According into the contract,AAA were assumed to arrive at my house in MN on 5/27, load the truck and begin driving to GA.. I had been provided a window to your truck to arrive at GA involving 6/1-9. AAA came as consented to load my home however movers gave the impression that it had been a summer project for them and consequently did not pay too much focus on loading furniture (we’ve got some lost things and broken furniture). The movers didn’t present us with all the”announcement of accessorial services done” in the time of pick up.I asked Chris to obtain status updates about the movement, his reply was that they’ll tell me 48 hours before delivery.Since I haven’t heard from Chris for a couple days that I contacted him on 6/1 and asked status update.Chris reacted on 6/2 together with all the following:”we’ve got some difficulties with the truck moving to GA,sadly it looks like it can be that there 6/10 or 11 for shipping”. When exploring more that day concerning this issue Chris explained that”your things are still in MN” and”you’ll be getting $125 per day that the shipment is overdue”.Little did I understand, it’s by Federal legislation to compensate $125 per day that the shipment is overdue and Chris made it seem like AAA do me a favor.Chris advised me on 6/2 which they’ll be receiving my items on various truck. This was a whole lie because in his preceding communication he’d said that they are shooting for the truck to depart on 6/6/15. This is a four days gap! On 6/5, I asked Chris what kind of truck for shipping is it since we’re living in a apartment building. His reply has been”53ft semi automatic”. There was not any mention about any incurring extra fees. Chris blatantly IGNORED my remark which was NOT the first time because I told Chris on many occasions verbally that we’re moving into an apartment building. On 6/6, I asked Chris to get a standing update. He responded on 6/8 who”the truck has abandoned and will be there on Wednesday”.Once again, nothing more regarding flat construction and access to this. On 6/10, the truck came to GA to my apartment.delivery time window was 8-10am. However, truck came at 11am that is 1 hour late. A local group of Arpin movers were hoping to overthrow the truck. They weren’t advised by Chris and AAA that people are living in an apartment. The truck driver was also not informed that it had been a apartment and according to him, he ought to have been advised before leaving MN so as to produce the necessary arrangements and owing to the situation he seemed angry, disagreeable, and sour. The truck and team driver took their frustration out on my spouse in a really ugly way and despise look. The alternative for unloading my home in the flat was to unload into a smaller truck and then deliver it to my own apartment.Again we were not informed of the chance. Bridgett out of AAA phoned my wife to notify her that we must pay extra $838.80 to the shuttle service and required pay straight away. My spouse was puzzled and asked for an explanation because this was not discussed with us when we obtained the quote. She was quite rude and short with her, and stated that when we wont pay that they won’t deliver our loved ones and will bill us $250/day also for storage.Once again I believed that I’m held a hostage. It took the staff 4 hrs into return.Interstate move is quite stressful and Chris Kurr and Bridgett from AAA have been NOT professional, added to the strain level, lied to people, were impolite, threaten to utilize our family since hostage, the motorist was angry, unpleasant, rude, and I sensed racism because we’re not white and out of MN.
Theymade a error & then intentionally supplied me with all the worst support possiblewhen I phoned them on itTheymade an error with my program, which could have abandoned me w/absolutely zerooptions 1 week before a transfer. I could not even locate a truck to rent & doit myself. They had been (Valery Ruby wasthe rep – that I even reached out to iron out things, w/no answer from anybody, whichtold me all I had to learn about this”company”) articles to leaveme dangling (I will be pleased to be certain each corner of this world wide web hears mystory). It was arbitrary coincidence thatthe proprietor of this business was walking from the representative’s seat, & ofcourse he explained to make it occur. But in addition, he led his workers to serve me dead last (that they weremoving my things in until previous 11 – came after 7 when I had been awarded an 11-4window. The dispatch man was veryunprofessional once I phoned to test double ). You will find several things broken or that no more function since they wereintended and they dropped a box which happened to comprise DirecTv gear thatI have to return & will be billed for. They put together one of my children’ beds & did not screw threads ontoscrews, therefore it dropped on initial contact. On account of their initial error, theowner waived a gigantic $75 storage price. They more than made up for this by purposely (at the request of thebusiness proprietor ) pushing the clock, placing virtually all in the incorrect location (I tagged everything, for seemingly no reason), hefty boxes (again clearlylabeled) along with ones that are light,& only general discount for my house &objects. It had been so implausibly dreadful ithad to be about goal. They alsoovercharged to get loading/unloading my things to a storage device forovernite. It did not take double as longto load/unload that because it didn’t load & unload in my houses, but that’swhat they billed. I paid nearly $2000for these to garbage on me. I’d like afull cover for this particular nonsensically Inadequate Provider, broken/missing things, puttingmy kid at risk (they might have told me & I would have completed this ) by notputting his mattress together accurately, & shedding a Minumum of One box complete ofitems, such as the DirecTV stuff that’ll cost me $120. But, I totally expect them to dismiss this & go on to their business of gouging customers which they don’t care for.
The guy who showed up in my home was extremely professional & friendly. He loaded my possessions carefully, but fast. It had been raining, however, he was able to keep all dry. The quote they gave me was quite reasonable in comparison to the majority, and that there were not any hidden fees! My items were delivered in time & in excellent condition, and also the movers were very considerate & even provided to unpack the boxes where we needed, even though it was not the most suitable place. HIGHLY urge!!! Taylor S.
