The moving business I participated to relocate my entire family out of Singapore into the UK partnered with Relo UK to receive our things to us after it came at Southampton.

Relo UK were communicative and useful, and the delivery guys were friendly and nice. However, as my spouse and I got through all of the unpacking, we realised that we had two precious pieces missing.

Relo UK were discovered that among the bits had been delivered because among those drivers recalled where he put down it into our (small) flat, also straight-up refused to take that people did not possess it, effectively telling us of lying.

Proceed with one of the other businesses, spend the additional #100 to utilize a respectable business and save yourself the hassle and do not bet on losing your most precious possessions. Do not be greedy and shed tens of thousands seeking to save countless just like I did, trust me.

Oh, and they required 10 weeks rather than the 4-6 weeks they will quote you. So there is that too.

I must apologise to my critique as hunting deeper to my boxes I discovered a number of those’missing things’. How embarressing. . .Relouk have achieved a fantastic job no breakages and my items are with me personally. However, I do stand by to remember to get a right inventory checklist. We jumped to Middle East (does not offer this choice under ) and just attracted a little quantity of things together. We had been advised 6-10 weeks delivery but did not receive things for 4 weeks. We sent 18 boxes, 5 were wrongly labeled and one box turned up which did not belong to us. We returned that box instantly but were abandoned paralyzed of a box. Due to the incompetence and erroneous labelling by ReloUK the insurer (they employ ) wouldn’t cover even though being insured for more than 3500. They neglected to record a product value #200 and just supplied #40 reimbursement despite possessing up to getting removed from my home and”missing”. Now 7 months on, I email on a weekly basis to find an upgrade and find no progress whatsoever or provide to compensate because of their shambles of an organization and organisational abilities. Very fast to get hold of you to receive cash, as soon as there’s an issue they’re reluctant to offer any answers and you need to do all of the chasing. It is like they are simply not interested.

My car was saved together for a few months and during that time fresh mats have been swapped by someone for filthy worn ones (maybe not a huge financial loss but important all the same). They had been flatly dismissive about it and never generated any before/after photos which would have definitely revealed what had happened. I can not help but wonder why. How a lot of these businesses appear to work is that they simply automatically pass the money to somebody, anyone else at case things like this occur. Their default place was that I would need to take this up with so and so or so and so. Not good enough. In the event of vehicles I would advise any possible client to insist on photos on shipment and receipt, otherwise you are likely to be confronted with this kind of thing also. Fortunately some builders do take photographs and send them on, you merely need to make sure that your photographic proof is complete from end to end. The tiny newspaper say reports are literally not worth the paper..In equity to them the woman I dealt with largely was quite useful and seemed efficient and knowledgeable, that is not my problem. While this export was from Australia into the UK, ReloUK weren’t picked by me, that they had been only the receiving representatives. Can I personally choose them or recommend their services? Absolutely not. Dismissive, and really threatening at the face of getting payment for storage withheld from the vain hope they would accept accountability but obviously they would not. Pictures would have negated the requirement for the aforementioned dispute entirely.Be advised if you get in a dispute such as this together with them you WILL be ignored out of hand. Overall a pretty bad experience.

I recently transferred with ReloUK from Melbourne back into the United Kingdom. I’d also used them to get my first movement to Australia 5 decades back.
Only a couple of words to thank the group who delivered my furniture. There was not a lot but it was significant to me personally and as before everything came on time and in excellent condition. The men who packaged with Melbourne were also brilliant.

Susan could not have been much more useful. I had my dispatch delivered in 10 days ahead of the boat coming in the U.K. and Susan left it occur. She explained that the delivery could be between 12 and 1pm and also the motorist came at 12 and arrived to find me in the rear of the house when I did not answer the door. The team was professional and always responsive and helpful during my dealings together. Highly suggested.

I recently transferred from London to NY and sent my family things with ReloUK. I wouldn’t recommend this firm to my worst enemy. (1) my items came two or more months late with no explanation or rationale by ReloUK (2) that the complete cost was 3x what they originally estimated due to extra fees hidden in the fine print and (3) my furniture had scrapes on it as it came.

Just do not use this corporation. You are going to spend less and hassle by heading to somebody else.

Anthony was really useful at all times, give a quote and replied al our queries. Quotation was exceptionally competitive and really professional at this cost. On moving times the men came on time, quite valuable and packed with real fast time (we’ve got past experience of rather slow packaging!!) , all consolidated on a container and on its own way over fourteen days, arrived at Sydney in our home 12 weeks afterwards, no harm in any way. Excellent service would urge and we hav done a great deal of global movements!!

It touched me in under two weeks at a shared container (fourteen days delay in shipping in the American vent as a result of Customs etc.) and I got it yesterday. I’m ignored by the expert packaging, it had been of an incredibly large standard and everything arrived in excellent condition. I can’t urge ReloUk more tremendously.

It has been TWO MONTHS, plus they still haven’t even merged a container to ship our items. Only sitting god knows where. They were pleased to take my enterprise and LIED over and above that it”will not be long now”. I really don’t know whether they ever intend to ship our furniture or if I must sue them to recover anything. Don’t conduct business with those incompetent men and women.

I’ve utilized ReloUK three occasions, once to maneuver my own effects from the UK to Thailand, then to come back from Thailand into the UK and then by the UK into the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We contacted Relouk to get a dispatch of goods out of Sussex/London to California. Goods were gathered from us in May. Shipping was ending July, but we had been v. frustrated that 1/3 of those cartons were left behind in the united kingdom. Meanwhile, we ordered another shipment, which came on time in early November, along with all the lost bits.
Whilst we had been really frustrated with the flaws with the very first shipment, the firm proved appropriately apologised, and confessed that it was their fault. The CEO was on top of the matter, and it was simple to hit him to talk about what had occurred.

I’ve picked this business to move our possessions from UK to Western Australia since the reviews were quite great, but our experience was not so great together. We’ve been quoted 8-12 months with this particular destination, however, it required 16+ months, they also supplied misleading information once our boat should arrive rather than told us that our boat would be unloading our items at Singapore and that another vessel could send them into Perth WA, therefore I needed to hunt for information myself and chase them up. If this could be advised I’d haven’t booked their support since our things are moved a lot of occasions and many things came damaged. . A number of our furniture was not even wrapped correctly and had been damaged seriously,our almost new condenser drier was not wrapped whatsoever and came bent in several areas as though it was thrown from the container such as garbage.

They quoted us pleased to get the company to get a transatlantic movement, but it had been all downhill from there:
1) on elimination day that the packers stated we had lots of space and shoed away us as opposed to stick out to make conclusions about what ought to be left behind. A telephone call into the office told me that it was likely to charge a second #1000-1500 to shoot everything. With budget and time equally against us, we left behind #1000 or a lot of furniture, however chose export-wrapped camping seats which had already been loaded.

Our products from London (8 boxes and a bag ) were picked up from London on 16 October 2016 although not delivered but over three weeks after to Queensland in Australia on 19 January 2017.

Throughout this time I traded a lot of mails with the firm, such as its managing director. His answers were consistently worded slickly and professionally however I believed that the ceremony was neither honest or transparent.

The main issues were:

– Dishonesty regarding pricing of those boxes. I was originally quoted one price for 40 cubic feet, which comprised eight of my boxes and one additional box. All these were picked up and assessed by Relo UK. It was only when another week afterwards when they stated that they would not fill my cargo unless I compensated for the excess box (a bag which was smaller compared to other boxes). They attempted to say that incorporating the bag brought the entire quantity to 40 cubic feet (the managing director said that he had’personally assessed’) but that could have been impossible given that the bag was roughly half of the size of each one of those boxes.

– Lack of transparency about a sum of $125 which they oncharged to me personally by their Australian builder (Conroy Removals). This amount had lent to Relo UK from Conroy Removal earlier I approved their quotation, but it was not until after two weeks of my merchandise leaving London which Relo UK surprised me by telling me that I needed to cover this to the Australian subcontractors, attempting to say that they were’compulsory DAFF (quarantine) fees’ and therefore sold under our agreement. In reality, after liaising with Conroy Removals, it had been clear that these weren’t quarantine alterations but also contained Conroy’s own administrative penalties. And so, I ended up having to pay an excess sum to Conroy on behalf of Relo UK to match its own commercial contractual arrangement with Conroy.

For these two problems I had been made to cover the added amounts since I didn’t wish to cause any delay to my dispatch to Australia.

I wouldn’t use Relo UK again – in the long run I’d use a more reputable company which supplied upfront, clear details concerning the entire price to the client to prevent any surprise fees.

We’re quite upset with this business. What started out as a fantastic experience has now started to become a tragedy. The furniture has become destroyed and they’re not assisting us to maintain on the insurance. They say it is our job not there is although we chose their insurance out – really eccentric. They’re fast to take our organization but currently there’s an issue they aren’t useful in any way.
You’d think that they would need recommendations and much more firm but I do not think so.
Please see the small print in their contract regarding their insurer they use because seemingly they constantly use this line you’re under guaranteed! They did not say that if we chose the insurance they advocated!

We only wish to mention how happy people are with the support we’ve received in Relo UK in tackling our latest relocation to New York. ReloUK were recommended to me by a collegue for my transfer from Southampton to Malta.
