    Rip-off artists. . moving scammers

The worst moving company I’ve ever ran into. . .they are off the road, no pryor shifting knowledge, they all lied about the purchase price and the man named John didn’t understand how to add or subtract. . These folks will only mess up your furniture, rather than give a crap what they do to your possessions, really disrespectful…the proprietor doesn’t care about your own emotions, all he needs is the money. . report him to the BBB!!

    Texas to Colorado Move

Just wanted to give Dillon N and Dan V that a fantastic big Thank You for all they did to assist our transfer from Texas to Colorado proceed so easily! Before unloading they scouted out the storage device region and decided it would be far too hard to unload a 53′ truck on site and could inform our driver of some other website which was close by which has been used to shuttle our items. Perhaps not the perfect means to do it but it worked like a charm! Both young men were rather attentive and worked hard all day long and Colorado Hi-Tech ought to be quite pleased to own them representing their business! We are going to be asking them again on our next move!

    Hi-Tec Moving

Pete V along with Dave K, did a exceptional job of transferring our Father’s decor and publications , out of his previous residence as well as our home basement for storage. They’re efficient, attentive and cheerful regardless of the very long stairway into our cellar.

I would strongly recommend their services.

    Dishonest company

Business was hired to move our household across town. Throughout the movement that they broke a huge fish tank. I registered a claim just like I had been told to perform and refused that assert?! Claimed the 2 fish tanks wouldn’t be covered if they are were not crated, and it will be a LIE! Salesperson just advocated crating, but not stipulated it wouldn’t be dealt with via the move! Thank you John and business!

Feedback on our move from Littleton to Arvada

Just wanted to say thanks to the help that we obtained from Byron, Robert, Darrell and Rechand a month together with our move. The showed up 10 minutes early and prepared to work. They never stopped and between the 4 of them actually showed teamwork and that hard work has it all done. They were very cautious with removing all things from older home, and in the new home covered each of the flooring and so were very careful not to damage anything. Adding walls and banisters. They were eager to transfer things to where ever wanted, even when they had been initially in garage, they’d proceed to space as requested. Until the job has been finished, they all worked really difficult to be certain that the job was done correctly. Well worth every penny invested. This is the 2nd time in five years we’ve utilized them, and when we proceed, they’ll be who I predict.
    Thank you again.

    Stressless move

I was quite reluctant to hire a plumber following my last movement, but Colorado Hello Tech Moving & Storage has been a joy to use.  My start time was 8:30 am, the truck came at 8:40. Enrique and Robert instantly introduced themselves and must work.  My possessions were at a garage therefore there wasn’t any wrap or packaging that had done, simply pickup and load it.  They were fast, friendly and efficient.   When the truck was filled and in the new house they coated the ground to keep it from getting scuffed and began moving everything to the cellar.   I requested them to simply pile my things anywhere like I would want to experience the boxes afterwards and they made sure I had a route to make it through to the laundry area.  Once complete Enrique clarified the beginning time/stop time, just how far it was (they ended in 2 1/2 hours, I had been quoted 5 hours) and we finished our trade.    My daughter is using the identical company and asked the exact same to movers along with an extra mover as she’s more furniture to proceed.  We had been that pleased with Enrique and Robert.  All motions are different and difficult and this movement was an exception in my own book.  Thank you Robert and Enrique!

    Quality of our move

I only wished to state our movement went”as great as it gets.”  The price was reasonable and the attempt was outstanding.  Alex and John were so patient with us throughout the afternoon and since we were tired we weren’t the very best of communicators.   Wheaton is the greatest and I wouldn’t hesitate with them again.  1 thing was left to the vehicle but had been returned to me another day using apologies.  It’s been discovered supporting a packaging blanket.  The packaging was performed so nicely that none of this china was busted.  I simply can not say enough.  Moves are hard enough and it had been so great to have truthful assistance with two young guys who desired to do their very best to assist us.    Thanks!!

    Colorado hi-tec

Ok the first terrible thing was Angie. She came and did a stroll through I showed her what that I wanted moved and packed, she mailed me a quotation. She stated she’d ship 5 packers, another day 3 packers showed up and just got 1/3 of those things packaged.

The mind person named Angie and whined the home was a tragedy? I am sorry we’re going, and that the home was large. I am sorry again Angie gave you a quotation.
The following day 5 folks showed up together with all the trucks, obviously it’d cost a whole lot longer to own everything we consented to be packaged. Therefore we agreed to just pack everything the consented was. Either Angie had no clue what she was performing or its a scam for you to cover a whole lot more income. The movers broke a couple things, not even mentioned on this sheet. The classic table leg has been broken. Obviously insurance will not cover it.
And that my freezer drawer of my new refrigerator is broken, I guess someone attempted to pick this up using the deal.

Quite disappointed, they left soda cans, candy wrappers, and wrap paper laying around outdoors and it blew everywhere.

    BEWARE

    Avoid

THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!!   The transfer in price was over $2000 – twice that which they bid.   They ruined things – they confessed they had”run from furniture pads” when packaging the truck – and they then refused my insurance coverage for repairs asserting that I was”non” (after buying $100,000 of insurance and also exceeding $3000 in compensation ).   DO NOT USE THEM!!!   Should you for any reason Need to use them, make a comprehensive inventory and negotiate together up front that You Won’t have to pay the movers’ period as You mark and record the things transferred.   They dropped a record of classic books – most have been my great-grandparents’ – and then stated that since there wasn’t a record, they Wouldn’t cover them.   Sounds like that is standard practice for these according to other reviews.

    Billing

They’ll tear off You!!!!! # BE WARNED!
When you register the receiver seem in the fine print. They grabbed out the first and additional more cash charged our card 160. Extra cash. No excuse no motive. After we called the proprietor SHE said demanding [EDIT]. Then hung up. Disputed. The fee and they stated that it is due because they stated quantity might vary after office inspection. They billed us for driveway time the movement. EVERYTHING. THEN ADDED MORE JUST BECAUSE. They offered no reasons for its additional $160.00 value of fees. I WARNED YOU US THESE PEOPLE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

    A stress free move

This firm was a complete joy to use. We’ve moved a few times before, and also the experience with these men was great in the quotation call through to the end of the job. John came around to quotation, and moreover being exceptionally knowledgeable and comprehensive, introduced me to some brand new radio station I now love if he noticed my trombone at the corner.   Ishmael and his team had been respectful, considerate, friendly and worked hard the entire time. We transferred a number of restored arcade and pinball machines that were our chief concern, and they transferred them (and what else) without any harm to the machines along with the possessions.   Perhaps most importantly, the men got the work done in under the estimated time that meant the invoice was lower than we’d anticipated. Among the things I enjoyed about Colorado Hello Tech compared to some of the other firms that we obtained quotes out of was that there weren’t any’unknown’ fees for things such as packaging material etc..   Thank you for a fantastic job, guys!

Moving from big house to Independent living

Did a fantastic job were friendly and careful and prompt. This particular group was recommended to us and they lived up to our own expectations and what we’d be told.Would REQUEST THEM AGAIN. I really don’t agree with a few of the negative reviews. Perhaps there’s been a change for the better.

    Not worth the money

These folks Are Simply unbelievable.   The girl in the workplace are just plain impolite.   They movers appear late.   Do a dreadful job AND subsequently the ending up cost is way greater than the quotation.   Nothing changed along with my own stuff.   Do not know why they could not do a better job of quoting.   Unless, that’s what they do, then estimate low to find the occupation and bully you if the task is completed.

    Miscommunication and damage

I had been advised by the salesperson that the truck could be at my home on Tues.11/2. 26’truck came 11/5. I’d told the salesperson just a 17′ truck could make it up my driveway. Waited to get a pickup truck to shuttle my items into the 26′ truck. Were told that the Wheaton truck was in Denver along with also my things would be placed on the truck there. I flew to Florida on 11/6 and called shipment on 11/8 and has been told my items were set in storage since there was not enough weight to justify departing. After waiting a week at a vacant home in Florida the truck came on 11/16 (two days prior to the end of the time window) They hurried to install my queen mattress and now I understand why. Someone had dropped it and it’s cracked 3ft round the surface. It’s a good bamboo luxury part of furniture costing fresh $1800. I bought the elongated policy for $194 w/$250 deductible. Wheaton delivered a woodworker from Alabama and he stated he can”knock out the broken wood and fill it with wood filler, sand and blot it” Wheaton sent me a check for about $50 after the verdict. My woodworkers here on Amelia Island quoted between $500 and $800 to fix it correctly. Taking it apart and incorporating fresh walnut and walnut it. I am still awaiting Wheaton to create this right. Though I didn’t claim them, a number of my glass things were boxes and broken ruined. My items were just moved a lot of times. I only want my mattress repaired right.
Do not use them and do not trust them.

Good Price, but get what you pay for

Colorado Hi-Tec Moving & Storage Complaint:
The initial quote was for 13,000 lbs to be transferred from Superior, CO into Pine Co to get a total of 1824. This has been 1 van, 3 guys for 16 hours per 114 / hour
The final amount was 2426. I had been advised, and I quote from an email I received from their broker that did the first quote:
“I will guarantee that the quote won’t go over 10 percent of their estimated price.”

    This was just the start…
When they arrived, I had been advised that the insurance which accompanies the move would be just for about $ 0.60 percent and that if I needed better insurance, I would need to buy an insurance plan. I bought a policy to pay $10,000 worth of harm (an extra $80). I guessed that they surely wouldn’t do much more harm than that. Included in this insurance coverage, I was expected to get into what the whole dispatch was worth. I didn’t understand exactly what to enter for this, so I requested the broker I had been speaking together and he said to only put down $100,000, so that I did. I had been moving all of the pricey stuff, so that I understood it wasn’t value that, but that I only put down exactly what he stated… Huge mistake.

Their representative had miscalculated how much time it could take and what number of men it would require, but they have the work done with a second bigger van come another day to find out what remained.
When they arrived in our new house, driver (a true newbee) couldn’t back up the truck. He maintained jackknifing it even on the right portion of the street. The rider which arrived with him eventually told the man to escape and he endorsed it up to the unload.
The identical driver has been taking boxes up the staircase to the principal floor. I had been watching him and watched a box (using our unique dishes) was going to drop out of what he had been carrying so that I DOVE on the drive and the box struck my hands rather than the rocks at the drive. The box ended up with a little dent on one of those corners., but it did not stop there, he took up a box into the deck over and proceeded to assist a inspector get some furniture on the doorway (the inspector stated he was nice and did not require help). The push put the box in the RAILING and flexed to aid him. The ship fell off the rail (DUH!) And smashed to the floor. It’d collector dishes inside and my heart sank. The 1 saving factor was that my spouse packaged them so well that just a few were busted.

All said and done, I registered a claim for the broken things (a great deal more than that which I explained above). I took photos to demonstrate the harm and net links to demonstrate the worth of these things destroyed. It came to about $900. They then begin on this course of because I had the worth of this transfer in $100,000 and only pay for $10,000, then they’d just pay 10 percent of their value. INCREDIBLE!!! I asked them what about their initial quote that it had been worth $60 a pound and even in 13,000 that just makes the transfer worth 7800 and that I covered it for about $10,000. After many emails and between the BBB, they ended up giving me 227 (nothing or that ) and sent a individual to fix the bunk mattress and smashed table top.
I wouldn’t suggest this company to anybody for any reason. Instead, they sucker you in with a very low bid, but boy is it NOT worthwhile.
Two of the four movers were wonderful. If it was not to them…!!!
