Worst firm dealt with that they held that our things hostage and kept incorporating extra fees. Don’t use them. Buyer beware!
Regrettably this has been the worst going experience we’ve ever had. With preceding interstate movements (different firms ), there were also couple of problems, and people were immediately addressed. Together with Johnson, our loading required just two weeks. Our movement has been from Colorado to Indiana. The Day One men were good, really professional, loaded items correctly. The Day two team was just exactly the contrary. It appeared just like the Day two men pulled our items at the rear of the vehicle, quite egregious packaging of dish packs and apparel boxes particularly. Unprofessional behaviour at my house. Furniture damaged, parts missing. Their agent visited nearly two weeks ago to evaluate the damages, and since then I have heard nothing in the business about fixing my damaged things. I expected much better for my $18K transfer. Luckily the United Van Lines team that unloaded us in Indiana did a fantastic job in directing us to two places and were quite professional and considerate. They were humiliated in what they found within the trailer.
Caution Caution! Paid 4000USD for transferring our household products from TX, USA to the Netherlands, Europe at February 2018. Initially they reply professional and prompt but that changes fast.
After weeks awaiting and many mails from us Denise in Johnson guided us with a customs inspection in america. That was on March 22nd, They then sent us on April 16th a statement of 2700USD concerning this review we were accountable for, and also with an extremely arrogant way of Ayal Shany, additionally predicts himself Alex Smith, likely of those scams Mr. Shany has performed previously, they pushed us to cover fast even in the event that you dont have this cash available. The review was completed April 2nd. We sent us this bill fourteen days after the launch of their customs inspection and after that threaten to cover fast otherwise additional fees will happen.
After paying the customs review fees the container came 2 months too late in port of destination and now they won’t launch the container only because they need us to cover for yet another 11.000USD!!! These fees based on Ayal/Alex in Johnson are due to my overdue payment of those customs inspection fees. It took me weeks to describe them that two weeks of overdue payment may never lead to those fees. After calling Sam Bassin, therefore called president of global movements , he wasn’t ready to assist and perplexing with his excuse, by stating for instance: if you’d paid to the customs fees immediately, we’d be in this circumstance. Obviously I’d remain in this place since the fees have been for 62 days! Not just for my own 14 days of delay. Moreover, as a ordinary customer you dont understand the way the delivery process works and that charges can happen. They changed their data and indicate that those fees are demurrage and detention fees linked to customs scrutiny. At this moment, container storage and demurrage costs begin to accumulate at destination port because Johnson won’t discharge the container.
What’s even worse, they behave as though they are in your own side by stating they do whatever they can to pay or lessen those fees, simply pay upfront and some other deducting will be reimbursed. Obviously it’s possible to think this”refund” won’t occur and they behave like everybode has tens of thousands of bucks to simply go right ahead and cover. After months and weeks emails describing that they shipped me the bill too late MR Bassin sends me an email that their hard work led to a deduction of 14 times of fees, 14 days fees for the error that they created! That isn’t a deduction, however a correction!
They’re great in sending you important advice too late therefore other fees are already begin establishing and you don’t have any opportunity to act.
It appears that they intentionally chased the container prior to and following the customs review to make additional fees and then blame the consumer on reevaluate the payment too late! 62 times due to a customs review is absurd. They likely take commission out of these fees or it’s a non existing bill while we contacted the steamship line and also they dont understand anything concerning this statement. As soon as I made a complaint on BBB.org the replied that at summer time there’s a high quantity om containers in queue. Well I didn’t understand February and March were summertime.
Who would believe that a customs review in the usa will alter the agreed support of 4000 usd to complete of 17000 usd? Prices will rise daily that the container is in the terminal and they’re not responding to emails anymore or are extremely rude. We’ve already paid 7000usd and possess nothing, that they threaten us with all of our products when we dont cover all those 11000usd. This company is a scam, so they dont counsel you at time of prices they already understand in order that they can make you pay fast. That really is a scam moving firm who’ll keep telling crap and lies with you so as to take a great deal more cash in the exchange for the”lifetime” Now we even have to make additional fees by selecting a lawyer.
Wow, although I’m writing this review I will see on the best all of the negative reviews and there’s just 1 positive testimonials and guess what, it’s Mr Ayal S, worker of Johnson Storage and Moving who’s writing a favorable review of his own company!! How great is internation transfer was to London blablabla. I really dont know how this major organization is behaving in the manner of a scam moving firm with no permit. This Ayal Shany, by Israel contacted me too by Whatsapp and quite arrogant because he would be, he also had a profile film with quite insulting text.
Charges now already climbed to 15.000usd they’re ridiculous.
Will do whatever I could to get compensated for the psychological damage our household is affected.
Having sold my home in Denver I saved my furniture using Johnson Storage. Some big and costly things were stolen and a few products were ruined. Despite several claims we have never been paid for our reductions.
Richard Johnson is a crook.
My furniture has been transferred less than 15 kilometers and showed up ruined. Table legs have been broken, entire rice beds gouged around together with the shifting wrap worn off, almost every big piece had a fracture or gouge on it. In the move back in the home, I was subsequently told that it would be an extra $199 to maneuver each sofa and case good upstairs. I wasn’t told this originally by Richard. 1 employee pulled me into the side to state that they did not need to place this on the firms bill if I rather would tip them $500. I phoned Richard to tell him how dishonest his team was, believing that they had been making this up”extra cost”, he berated me and told me”what did I expect from guys who violate their own bodies going furniture”. Then they added over $1,000. in charges. It doesn’t pay to be truthful with dishonest men and women. Stay far away from this organization.
International Movers, Stay Away From Johnson Storage & Moving Co.. Johnson Storage & Moving Co isn’t responsible, dependable and accountable whatsoever and you’ll be charged much more than you anticipated. I wish I could provide negative stars.
Johnson Storage & Moving Co. will quote quantity low to acquire the company but cost you much more in the end. Worse, they don’t upgrade you the quantity / size shift after dimension till you find the humongous surcharge on the bill. They’ll tell you that as you agreed to cover the real, and that means you’ve got to pay for what’s shown on the bill. I had been charged 30 percent more for this particular part. The earnings is named Helen Shany. Be mindful!!!
Throughout the dispatch, DO NOT anticipate any timely upgrade from Johnson Storage & Moving Co.. Even though you’re proactive to request upgrades, you only find vague responses.
Johnson Storage & Moving Co can certainly postpone your shipment. My products were filled 45 days following packaging. Do not overlook! They will not upgrade you regarding the delay. My shipment was packaged in September, but I’ve got them delivered yet in the late of December. They had been threatening me that they simply deliver my goods once I paid in full. But even I paid, the products have been still holding by them and I don’t know if I could get them. Worse, I must pay demurrage brought on by their own holding.
Johnson Storage & Moving Co will place your merchandise at elevated risk of never being discharged by Custom. This firm failed to collaborate with their spouse in China, lead to lost files demanded by China Custom. Luckily, China spouse helps to sort out the matter as well as the goods were published. But, Johnson Storage & Moving Co. requested me to cover for all surcharge brought on by their own misconduct and errors. I’m charged another 15 percent more for this component.
Through the procedure, nobody in Johnson Storage & Moving Co would listen to what client states. The one thing which the president of Johnson Storage & Moving Co (Sam Bassin) cares is Money, Money, Money. I guess it’s because I am simply a one time customer that they don’t value.
I must pay for anything they bill since they’re holding my merchandise rather than releasing them. Additionally keep adding surcharge onto it.
I would never recommend this company and would not use them again.
If you see nothing else:
1. Do not expect them to be on time.
2. Do not expect them to return some telephone calls about when they’ll arrive.
3. Do not expect to get a response to some emails in under seven days.
4. Do not anticipate that any of your queries from the email from 3. Will be replied.
We opted to utilize Johnson as we had been impressed with the professionalism of this salesman, Scott. In addition, he lent us a very reasonable timeframe for delivery of 6-8 weeks. He explained that we all needed to do was put aside the merchandise which we desired to have hauled and they’d then look after the rest.
The day prior to our pick-up, the shipment centre left me a message that the movers will arrive between 9am and noon on August 9th, so I took the afternoon from work to help. When they still hadn’t came by 1pm, I needed to depart. We phoned the dispatch centre to discover why it had been postponed, but could just leave a message. We left a few, and nobody ever returned the telephone. We finally achieved to the organizer, Sam Bassin. He got ahold of this truck, who then called me and stated that they could be at our house in a couple of minutes. This was at about 5pm. A small Nissan showed up at approximately 6:30pm with a few men to do the packaging. The truck did not appear till approximately 8:30pm (more than seven hours out of the quoted window).
My spouse was flying from town that day, and was getting ready while our products were still being packaged up. She was almost late because of her 11pm flight on account of the movers being so late.
I was prepared to let them reunite our things and that we’d go with a different firm, but foolishly allowed Sam to talk me into staying together. He provided me a meager reduction of about 5 percent, comped insurance, along with his personal assurance that he would contact me every step of the way and keep me informed about the status of the dispatch.
On September 13th, I emailed Sam requesting him about the standing, as I’d not heard anything out of him. After he still did not answer, I emailed again on the 15th. This time he explained”assessing and will get back with you”. I emailed again on the 21st later he still did not answer. In the end, after over a week had passed since my initial petition, he’d respond simply to notify me that our dispatch has been delayed as a result of set of hurricanes that struck the eastern U.S.. He explained that he’d notify me of the delivery program when he had it. This never occurred.
I did get an email from the business that will be receiving our dispatch in the EU. They had a few forms for me to fill out with habits advice. I was fortunate that I only happened to be surfing my junk folder, also it’d have been overlooked. Johnson never advised me that I would have to complete any additional paperwork.
Another status-update episode occurred beginning on October 11th. It only took five days and two emails to have a response that the anticipated arrival into the E.U. was Oct 24. It ought to require 5-7 weeks for processing there and then fourteen days for shipping to Krakow.
On October 25th, I again emailed Dawne (the International Coordinator) asking her if she ever had some advice. She offered me an email from October 16 from a different getting company with exactly the exact same paperwork that I needed to complete. Since I was not anticipating it, this one also went to spam but I did not catch it this moment. She never did respond to my query about why I needed to fill it out another time or when they had been using another firm.
I finished the types again and shipped them in again. Having learned the lesson which attempting to find any advice from Johnson was a frustrating and fruitless practice, I contacted the receiving business in Rotterdam, NL for an upgrade on November 5th. They explained that our dispatch had arrived on October 24 however a”grip” was put on the dispatch by Johnson. Email again to Sam, who stated that he would check into it.
An email in the E.U. getting company a couple of days afterwards told me to expect my shipment on November 18. The local firm that completed the last leg of our dispatch did a nice job of helping transport our belonging up three flights of stairs.
In this procedure, I realized that I didn’t factor in the little discount that Sam provided me when paying the bill. . Many emails later, I’m still waiting.
Our dispatch that has been designed to take 6-8 weeks ended up taking over 15 weeks. I know that the hurricanes which struck the U.S. were catastrophic, my key concern was that I couldn’t get any advice from this provider. Especially after getting the private promise I would be often updated.
I won’t ever do business with this company again and strongly advise that nobody else does too.
If you just read one point, make it this one – DO NOT work for this company should you take care of your items which makes it into some destination… and in 1 piece.
We narrowed our choices down to two firms, and in the point, cost was not an problem. We picked Johnson since the salesman looked like a very fine, down-to-earth man, ” he said the business was very knowledgeable about the construction from preceding moves plus they were neighborhood. Next time I will choose the more recognized and dependable national business.
1. Packing day. Three individuals arrived… two hours late. 1 man took stock, 1 man literally stumbled on the close of the truck and also”retained watch” along with the previous man – bless him – moved everything by himself. The movement was likely to last 2 hours. It literally took the whole day. Mind you, this is a 1 bedroom flat with a single very little cupboard. My husband grabbed them on smoke breaks and lunch breaks several occasions, which likely led to the 8 hour movement. While they sat about and appreciated their own Brother’s grilled chicken, we all disgusting. They cracked jokes nearly the whole time they had been lazing about in our apartment and I would be inclined to wager two of them have some kind of love affair going on with the large number of unprofessional flirting which was occurring instead of finding the task done. They were all aware that they had to take aside our mattress and a desk, but they did not bring some tools. We needed to find the apartment care to bring a few (ours were clearly packaged ). They requested to get an Allen wrench also obtained a package with numerous sizes. After banging on our $2k mattress for an outrageous quantity of time, even they confessed that they had no clue what they were doing. Care came back and said nothing on that mattress had an Allen wrench and then needed to help them since otherwise, it was not likely to have done.
2. The company asked us to get a”favorite date” for shipping. We had a fairly traumatic family crisis that postponed our trip a few times (which obviously everybody would have chosen did not occur ). This man was nice enough to drive our favorite date back two weeks so that we would not need to find out a means to get across the nation in a few times to get the delivery. Largest mistake. So essentially”favorite date” means we will get it to you per week then, if we return to it, and because we provide you a time period, we do not care for you or why you would require this dispatch in under 2-3 weeks. Our favorite date has been on a Wednesdayin June. Nobody called or gave us some sign of anything at all. I also called and left messages requesting upgrades and delivered numerous emails to our earnings man. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. My husband called another amount simply to be informed the day until we expected the delivery which we would not be receiving it before the next Monday. So that is great news because I was beginning a new project on Monday and actually what was about this particular truck. Again, nobody called for any upgrades. During the weekend, we all called again to validate the Monday delivery. Turns out they were not likely to allow us understand that it had been pushed back the following day. Today Tuesday. We’d already had to get some pots and pans and things to make it during many days on a very uneasy air mattress. This meant purchasing new work clothing also. We were originally going to get it sent immediately and place it in storage till we got to California. The salesman spoke from that. What could have cost us a couple hundred to save our things and have it once we have there ended us up a lot more in replicated household things to get by before it arrived. So, thanks to this,y’all!
3. The dispatch eventually came on Tuesday. The motorist gave my husband unlimited despair about everything. We did not pack the boxes directly. It is somehow our fault the anglers did not provide us the proper quote. Our mattress is too tricky to gather. They did not bring tools and that is also our fault. Turns out our shipping did not leave because nobody wanted to carry it as it weighed twice as far as the sales man estimated. I guess that the driver was fairly mad because he conquer our boxes. They were moist and educated up. I enjoyed discovering an irreplaceable collectible glass out of my parents broken and chipped. Not only did we work with a ship from a business which sells to movers that’s specially made for packaging glassware, we utilized bubble wrapped and wrap every glass attentively and with caution. Our dining room table is ruined. Our first, handmade mattress is trashed up. A great deal of glassware has been ruined. The term”delicate” was obviously ignored. Additionally, the mover could not quit trashing the firm. He advised my husband that he could notice the harm, but the corporation would not do anything about that. If your workers have nothing pleasant to say about you personally, you know there is a real matter.
Moral of this story here… this business has to be closed down until they destroy anything else!
Johnson Storage & Moving-United (Denver/Centennial) will NOT pay for furniture that they lost or harm they caused. Johnson Storage & Moving-United (Denver/Centennial) thinks they don’t have any RESPONSIBILITY to reunite ALL FURNITURE in great form. Our products, damaged beyond repair, were packaged with the moving business and they won’t reimburse us to repair it. A number of our bedroom furniture was”missing” and Johnson Storage & Moving-United (Denver/Centennial) have told us they won’t make-good on shedding our furniture. They don’t feel the payment received to transfer your possessions means they must return your items in good shape or whatsoever. So, buyer beware. Along with almost a $6K transfer, we now will pay an additional $2,500 to substitute the things which Johnson Storage & Moving-United (Denver/Centennial) ruined &”missing”. We’ll never use them again, and we’ll ALWAYS warn our loved ones & friends against doing business with a company that has business integrity that this low. Given their doctrine, they could take all your possessions, ditch them over a cliff, get full payment from you and say”we apologize to your negative issues however we aren’t responsible. Fantastic luck.” Their company slogan is”NOT RESPONSIBLE” but cover up.
They advised us to give them two weeks notice to Receive our stuff from storage and then transported to Atlanta, GA in San Diego, CA. We gave them 3 weeks notice and the material has been delivered late. Besides this they dropped 1/3 of my things. How can you Eliminate a dining room table, sofa and queen size mattress and mattresses? They retained needing to commit to a delivery date before the afternoon before they delivered that made it quite Tough to organize our movement. They compensated for an aviation for people to sleep on while they attempted to locate our things. Are you really serious? It’s Been more than 10 days. Just how long are you supposed to sleep with the air mattress whenever they attempt to Locate our materials? Incidentally , they are Monday thru Friday 9 to 5 – therefore do not even consider having a issue with a weekend movement – you can just leave a message!! Letter to the CEO was futile – he simply sent it on to client support who’d given the aviation. Therefore that the final result is that we dropped around $15000 worth of things, we’re still sleeping in an air mattress and they will provide us 60 cents per pound – probably around $500.
