    Long-distance move from Sacramento, CA
    Cross Country Move

I had been going out of CA to FL.
I contacted them by telephone they had been nice and considerate. On the afternoon of pick-up they have been timely professional and helpful. It went off perfectly. Alek was fantastic. He answered or returned my calls. He kept me in the loop of all things. Delivery went away without a hitch. They handled my possessions as though it were theirs. I need to say going was my least worry with those men. Wonderful Job

DO NOT USE these guys!!!! They are horrible!!!

Don’t use these guys on your relocation!!! Not only did it take more time to receive our things & no communication from them but we had a few items broken, scratched, & torn & did not receive all of our things!! Subsequently upon delivery even charged extra $450 if we did not require a shuttle for our location!!! Guard your relocation ~ use another inspector!!!!

Threatened by foreman and items misrepresented on list

Moving truck foreman threatened and maintained and Client support representative, Natalie misrepresented our transferring things on the transferring checklist offered to truck foreman
A number of items for transferring were misrepresented on the product list offered to the trucking foreman from the Client support representative (Natalie). By way of instance, over the telephone I told the Natalie we had a China cabinet, the record said”cupboard” the shifting forman said that our china cabinet wasn’t a cupboard and wasn’t among the. He contended with me during the day about other things on the listing. He said the twin beds recorded meant mattresses rather than the real beds, etc etc.. In addition, he didn’t fill up the allotted space on the truck and also said our room was consumed. When I questioned him about it his precise words were”Do you really need to contend with the individual who will be lonely with all of your stuff afterwards?” . This was said before most of his guys and my kids all discovered it too. We ended up leaving almost 1/2 of the things we had to take. This was on Wednesday June 14th. Today is Friday 7/13 and happen to be in continuous contact with the company to attempt and discover as soon as the truck is going to be sent to the new address. We’re being told that they haven’t found a motorist or our burden would not match, there are lots of explanations being given. We signed the contract on May 31st with the firm it recorded the pick-up date of 6/14 and have been advised that our things will be delivered to the new address within 7-14 days. It’s now been 30 times since the pickup and we can’t find a response as to if our things will be sent to the new address. We’re being told different explanations and reasons for its delay.

    Incredible Service!

I cannot suggest this moving business sufficient. Moses and his team will be on time, efficient, courteous and exceptionally great. They’re a joy to use!

I phoned Chico and The Guys at the last moment since the inspector I verbally contracted with was becoming a bit dishonest rather than giving me a certain commitment. Seeing I had been going in three times — and transferring a home I had lived in for more than ten years — I had been anxious about this nebulous dedication. I phoned Moses, told me my situation, and that he had been kind enough to confer with his agenda to get my crisis. Four guys showed up on time this past Saturday and completed the project in about half an hour. Nothing has been broken or scraped. And, on top of that, there wasn’t an ounce of play.

I need to include that Chico and the Guys have quite affordable and honest shifting speeds. I loved working together so much that I called Moses to determine if a few of his men would come back the next evening to help me build a few seats I’d bought (why does everything must be built today?) And helped me to eliminate flattened boxes into the dumpster (obviously I paid him, but again, very, very fair ). I’m quite thankful to Moses along with his group. They’re truly the very best!

Long-distance move from New Orleans, LA
Disaster and more stressful than any of my training

Allow me to begin this with: ” I don’t have anything to benefit from this inspection and all of this info isn’t my view of this sequence of interactions or events. I believed this review required to be composed after learning that a second one of my buddies who contracted with those men had a very similar experience to mine.

Im a resident doctor and wanted movers to move my things to fellowship from New Orleans, LA into Winston Salem, NC.

Initially my spouse and I contracted with North Star Van traces, that turned to Chico and the Guys, along with a 1000 additional after our initial quotation.

I should have known this was likely to be a tragedy from the very beginning when I had been told that portion of this transfer would have to get compensated in money. What company with any type of standing does anything like this but somebody who’s likely to do some thing wrong.

We’d been guaranteed a shipping date according to my program and moving nearly 1000 miles throughout the nation. Anyhow, Chicos team immediately told me that they had 21 days to provide my things according to their own contract. This turned into a tragedy and following several strongly worded mails and phone calls it had been agreed that it could be sent as scheduled. This did not happen.

In addition to this, my 55″ television showed up in my new home 24 hours later than the agreed upon date, 10 days later each of my things was picked up, divided and with rodents using their eggs and kingdom at a few of my clothes boxes.

In the right time of birth I was not mad. I just assumed we’d go through the procedure to acquire the television replaced and wash out the garments with all the ants. . .life goes on right and it was only a television, a 1200 television once I purchased it but still only a tv.

Fast forward to this telephone call to go over the problem.

Yes, I’d failed to pay the excess non-refundable $950 for overall replacement insurance following the initial $1500 quotation had undergone a $1000 cost increase and turned to closing price of $2600. Which as an resident is the whole take home wages for monthly.

I thought depending on the method by which in which the insurance was clarified to me we were insured for over $10,000 worth of damage. Obviously, I was incorrect.

Chico was quite prompt and deliberate concerning reminding me of this. Almost crying ( from defiance- sorry that is my view ) in my about my failure to elect for the additional $1000 value of insurance, so as though it would have covered my items wouldnt have shown up in the form they’d had I paid the additional $1000.

    What I discovered:
We had been insured for about $ 0.60/pound each item. Anyhow, a 55″ flat display LG smart television with 3D capability is not worth anything in $0.60/lb. But, finally during our conversation he said he’d give me $40 to this. He told him he can keep his 40.

Moses/Chico never cares for its delayed delivery or to the broken television. Rather he blamed me to the television being busted and had no excuse for how there might possibly be ants from the boxes along with my clothing. I promised him, just as I had not packed a busted tv, that I had not packed the rodents with my clothing.

Im definitely not an expert inspector but’m also not a fool. The tv had been packed using a 55″ TV box at styrofoam as it’d come in Best purchase just like it did if it had been bought and delivered into my property.

Chico went on and on saying that he did not pack the television and did not know whether the television was broken earlier it was packaged and it was not his duty.

I’d packed the television through the night before the movers arrived since it had been clearly outlined in the contract all of our items besides furniture required to be packaged and prepared to transfer or extra fees would apply.

He proceeded to state , yelling into the telephone:
“When I’d packed it, then it wouldn’t have broken when it had been dropped out of 5 ft! We Didn’t break your television”

Now I became fairly aggravated. I’d given the man all of the benefit of the doubt that he would do exactly the perfect thing. Finally he told me when I wished to employ a lawyer I had since he knew where all of the paperwork was and what was signed.

These are the details of my expertise. I’ve yet to be refunded any sum for the television and was nearly a month since my transfer.

    Long-distance move from Metairie, LA
    New Orleans to North Carolina

I was quite pleasantly surprised on how well they listened to my worries, packed all of our possessions and left me additional tape and boxes to package things they can’t move. At our new place they came punctually, unpacked all of our possessions, constructed and put furniture precisely where we requested. Before they left, Mosses requested to walk throughout the home with us to make certain everything was here, not ruined and put where we needed it to be.

They did an excellent job, they were consistently considerate and professional. Without doubt I’d utilize Chico and The Guys again and I would strongly recommend their services for my loved ones and my friends.

    Horrid service.

Please please please don’t use this moving business. My sister was working together with them since April. It was dreadful and complete support from start and today she’s still coping with them. They tried to bill her double for solutions b/c of the deficiency of functioning. Held her items hostage b/c a terrible review was composed for them and just consented to release her things if we chose down the review. Badgered them before late afternoon of the night before it was shot down. After getting their possessions after waiting for more than a week simply to discover several broken items such as a brand-new dryer and lots of wedding presents. After submitting claims and complaints they have a urgency to cover $67.00 for over a $1,000.00 value of damage. Please get yourself a favor and find somebody else.
