I frankly thought the cost will go up as I’ve numerous antiques, figurines, and other bothersome, frankly, to transfer things. However, the cost did not budge although the selection up took two hours longer than anticipated on account of this exceptional wrapping that has been required on so many products.

Imagine my shock when a firm called Superior Movers located in Arizona delivered my own possessions. Had everything gone nicely, I could have been only annoyed, but matters went far from nicely…   I do not know if Sky Van Lines actually does the very long haul component of this transfer, but they surely did not with me. They pick up your items locally, deliver into a warehouse, and then subcontract with Another firm, who you Don’t Have Any Opportunity to explore and also have zero control over, to perform the long haul Portion of your relocation.   2) I invested a total of 3 evenings tied down in my new flat hoping and waiting for deliveries (the initial two weekends to get my own stuff and also the 3rd weekend to the things which didn’t make it the first time round ). Luckily, the man in SF was fine and was ready to allow me to come get my items (he also had things missing and was in the mercy of Sky for the past few months and had horror tales of his own).   3) My possessions arrived battered and appearing like they were thrown about. Boxes were destroyed, many things inside were coated with some type of white movie (mould?) and stank. Everything needed to be cleaned completely. As poor as everything seemed, it is astonishing that more things were not broken, but that I did pack very closely. 1 mirror has been useless and broken, my leather couch has some type of stain I have not yet been in a position to eliminate, and there have been several scrapes and dings. Overall, I had been lucky though as my items had clearly not been treated lightly.   4) When my possessions didn’t arrive June 14-16 as promised, I started calling, requesting upgrades, attempting to learn what was happening. I struck a string of broken promises, lies, unreturned telephone calls, evasiveness, and apathy. When I inquired concerning the reason behind the delayed delivery, then the semi driver stated that he was”driving throughout the nation” which he’d had mechanical issues. (Later versions of this story comprised a flat tire, a failed DOT review, and difficulties at a weigh station). Regardless, my possessions had seemingly been appreciating with the Arizona summer for a week at a hot trailer (which explains why the small bottles of creams and shampoo/conditioner in among those boxes came in a Good country – they were baked).   5) I whined to Sky and asked a refund to the transfer and received back an email that the company had fulfilled its duties and that they did nothing wrong (!) I used to not even bother responding and will concentrate my energies on submitting reviews where possible and submitting a BBB complaint and seeing whether I could find the DOT to shoot some actions. I hope that my sharing my expertise will at least save some time from having to go through this.   Moving to another town and starting a new job is stressful enough, without including this sort of frustration and stress. It is terrible to need to get settled and be unable to. It is a helpless feeling as after they have your things, you’re totally powerless. I slept in an air mattress for 2 months; I spent three evenings tied down waiting for my own stuff; I am still getting settled in July, a procedure that I must have been in a position to have behind me in June. Thus, if you do not mind risking your possessions and your reassurance, subsequently Sky Van Lines will be right for you. If you appreciate your items and your sanity, then do your self a favor and look elsewhere. I really wish I had.

For those tvs, images, and mirrors, then they all builtspecial packaging from boxes and bubble wrap.  On the afternoon of the movement exactly the exact same four men came and worked on their humps off loading it all into the vehicle.  The single issue I could say I had was with just how much time it took to find what to do Florida.  It required 10″business days” to receive it and I’d have chosen to find everything earlier, but I understand they were trying so I’m alright with it.  The shipping group was different compared to the one which chose up my load and they built all of the furniture which the other team had taken aside and place it where we needed it.  After we unpacked what we noticed that we needed some broken wine glasses, however, the stalks were so brittle I am surprised some of these made it undamaged. I am quite pleased with the amount of support that I received and would recommend this company to anybody seeking to proceed with a local business in the Dallas region.

Horrible experience!!! Never did everything they said they’d do per arrangement. Rude, unprofessional and dishonest workout. The mover chucked all of our boxes and stuff in the area 4 steps in the front door, We could barely open the door for at the home. Ignored education to the boxes (toilet box needs to be put in the kitchen, etc). Since they sent one week following the scheduled delivery, there was no one in your home to handle them so they dropped and abandoned. We’d have done much better and saved a lot of money if we only leased and U Haul box, then stuffed it and allow U Haul deliever into Memphis. Today we must move all of the things in the appropriate rooms! What a nightmare! This firm does not live with their assignment, label lines and advertising and marketing ploys! I’ve built 7 houses and moved many many times and this really is the supreme,dreadful experience! Their customer servive man Rami along with the rep that we had, John did not even offer us a courtesy phone to apologize! TERRIBLE!!!! PS. We have not evaluate the damages when there’s some into the furniture as well as the electronic equipment. I’m concerned!

Michelle and Chris Knight Bauxite, AR April 16, 2013   Sky Van Lines Matthew Brody 2410 Luna Road Suite #280 Carrollton, TX 75006 Dear Matthew: We Would like to Allow You to know Our transfer out of Rockwall, TX into Bauxite, AR moved nicely.  The team showed up on time and actually did a fantastic job wrapping everything up.  They failed to take but just one break to eat dinner, that surprised me very much.  My experience in the past with additional moving companies was that I would need to check and follow up on the team to be certain that they were functioning; this wasn’t true with Sky Van Line team.  They have been professional and incredibly understanding.  They moved over and over to ensure everything got wrapped and loaded correctly.  The rain gave us trouble and that I thought that we may not have the ability to get completed but they were quite smart with their own timing.  The Crew Leader, Michael, had the weather station program on his telephone and was observing the radar.  The moment he noticed a break from the rain he’d have each of the team quit what they were doing and load furniture and boxes which they had put by the doorway on the truck and until it began to rain again he’d tell them to complete and return indoors.  Not one of our items got wet in any way.  They certainly work well together.  They took good care to let me know about any marks or nicks on furniture before them wrap up it; I already knew about the marks that I along with my 14 year-old kid had left but it allowed me know that they know how important it isn’t to hurt anything.  Incidentally, none of those items were ruined in any way. When they came in Arkansas in our new house they unloaded and required the time to ensure that the ideal boxes were at the ideal rooms.  They requested before putting furniture and were considerate and patient with me.  They also collect all furniture which was taken apart.  I’m still unpacking boxes and the one thing I wish I’d have done differently is to have needed your team package for me.  I’m so very tired and still have so much more to do!  I’d give this team: Michael, Angel, Nacho, and David 10 out of 10 celebrities, they were great.  I’m pleased to recommend you to my family and friends when they have the need for a moving service. He put all of my things to his machine and gave me a quote that he said was still binding. In addition, he told me about additional fees which they would need to bill me to get a china cupboard and a number of paintings that I had in glass frames. They were very upfront with all the cost and the movers actually managed by possessions nicely, and overall I am really Happy with their service.
