I moved to Ace to get a crate which has been shipped out of Portland. The few times I talked with the secretary were quite positive. As soon as I attempted to get the bundle, a guy (the owner, I know ) came out on a fork lift with the cage. I asked him when I could simply open it and choose the contents today and return tomorrow for the cage. He muttered no, he did not need to have the crate about there. He wished to place the entire thing in the rear of my truck. I advised him I did not need the 650 pound box in addition to my wheel wells. He said he wished to test it anyhow. I said, no–I’ve already measured it and it will not fit. He agreed to place two replicas beneath the box to lift it up high enough. When this was completed, he pulled toward the truck using the pallets too low. He had been going to strike on my tail gate and I cried for him to cease. He did not stop, he awakened but he maintained going forward. I cried as he raced into the tail gate. There was another worker there who watched this. I really don’t think any harm had been done, but he increased up the load and began coming ahead, He had been heading right into the face of the truck and to some tie-down cleat. Again, I cried for him to stop–he did not, he edged forward. I ran back and yelled for him to STOP. He yelled back,”The f*** was not I on the side of this truck directing him?” I stated my spouse is there along with your worker is on the side, I am about another and we were all telling him to cease. Another worker provided to load the cage, the man said, NO, I will simply set it down and let him perform the f*** he wants with it.” He dumped it there in the parking lot, I signed up the paper and until he stomped out, I asked him,”Why do you get mad at me attempting to stop my truck out of being ruined???” He ignored me and proceeded indoors. This is a criticism rather than a petition for settlement.
