Buyer beware! Among the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business offering a service. I am wondering if a few of those other 5 star reviews aren’t real. The movers who showed up to pick up the material wanted $2,000 greater than what was quoted. The Agency who came to unload came without the assistance and had to put an ad on Craigs List to locate a person to help him unload their belongings. In addition, he drove carelessly and caused property damage. In short, a poor experience from Begin to finish,

I Won’t Ever USE THEM AGAIN AND I Can’t RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL… AND THE Insurance Carrier THAT HANDLES THEIR CLAIMS.
We hired another firm to proceed and we never showed up so that we were in a rush since we’d tenants coming in each week to rent outside residence. After we called that business, they gave us a quotation and we consented to it and signed the paperwork. Later that afternoon we got a call from Ron stating the initial estimate was too low and they were planning to increase it. We felt as though our own hands were tied as we had to stand outside, so we agreed. After the movers came, they began dividing items and adding them to the initial estimate count so by now that they had all loaded, we spent several million dollars. But here is the kicker, the loader accountable, said he can make a deal together. He offered to just maintain the initial amount paperwork when we paid him and his team the difference in money. It was just like $1000 gap and that I told him I would give them a couple hundred bucks (again, since we had been on a brief deadline ).
As it came time for shipping, we kept getting the run around about if our stuff will arrive. I believe that it eventually came about 10 days late. AND, the shipping men smelled like marijuana. Then… they waited about 2 hours until they began to unload the vehicle – and required more smoke (luckily not mj) fractures than you could be accustom too. They were designed to deliver what in the home but they stated they needed to leave so they simply left a couple of things in the drive.
There are numerous things I am forgetting because I receive really angry just considering needing to deal with this firm.
Then came the opportunity to publish claims. We had over 30 things which were broken, ripped, broken, and crumpled or otherwise negatively impacted by the movement. We were known to their promises business. The very first thing that the claims business asked for was that a duplicate of the bill of landing (that I do not recall ever getting ), then we needed to publish copies of this stock estimate and a explanation of harm and photographs. Following two weeks old and forward, they gave us a quote of 500 for all our damaged products. To mend or replace what they ruined, it could have been at the tens of thousands dollars.
The entire process in the initial quote to the shipping and after that the promises, felt like a bait and switch shake down.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL.

Excellent experience with horizontal rate. Professional and punctually movers that did a wonderful job. Would definitely use them again since the evaluation t of possessions to be transferred, the fee billed to transfer them and the afternoon of the transfer all went smoothly. Moving is stressful but with Roadrunner moving has been the best choice to make the process easy.

I had a last minute transfer this week and those men showed up to assist me transfer my flat. They did a terrific job. They wrapped all of my furniture, costly artworks quite attentively. Road Runner Transferring were supert. They have specialist team, efficient labour and timely shipping. They did rapid and secure transfer. I’d love to say…

-Their prices do not change, what you are quoted you cover and that is it.
– Really very good at packaging.
– Shows up in time. Be ready since they might even arrive early.

Roadrunner was contracted by Charter Van Lines into my son’s transfer to Alabama from California. We supplied them with a precise inventory checklist and have been awarded a”Binding Estimate” for its movement of $1930.72.
Definition:”A binding estimate is a group cost quote. It’s a legal agreement between you and the Agency that the expense to transfer the merchandise won’t go beyond the cost agreed upon.”

We knew that when we go on the stock list we might need to pay more. We were okay with this. We fully complied with their directions and did not add some items to our stock, in reality we removed a product from the stock supplied.

Roadrunner came on August 3 to perform the transfer. We did not understand at that time but do now that the movers will be expected to give us a written quote on a”Bill of Lading” before loading some of her possessions onto the vehicle.

But when the movers came they immediately began loading all of her possessions onto the vehicle and NEVER supplied a quote before or maybe said a word on it. That isn’t the way it’s supposed to do the job.

The motorist and folks with him were uncertain and completely unorganized. 1 man was coaching another and they have been definitely not concentrated. They were assumed to outgrow things in accordance with the contract however they didn’t do so on everything which may be uninstalled after my daughter indicated more than once for them to achieve that.

After all of her possessions were filled, that’s when they introduced with a”Bill of Lading”. Again we didn’t add more to our binding quote than that which has been agreed.

The motorist told my girl that her things were carrying up additional cubic feet (possibly since they DID NOT outgrow things??) . So at fall off in Alabama we’d owe nearly $1100.00 more rather than the $391.00 that our”Binding Estimate”‘d stated we’d owe.

Besides all this, the driver asked my daughter what the oldest day that they could fall off her things. As we were coming on August 8,” she explained the 9th. The motorist NEVER EXPLAINED to her exactly what the terms meant. If you ask”When is the earliest we could be there?” An individual would inform you the day that they are in a position to be there too.

It’s currently August 27, 2018. They picked up all of her possessions on August 3, 2018 (24 days ago). She informed them that August 9 is the oldest date. Supposedly her possessions were put to be loaded on to a truck on Sunday, August 26. WE still have not received any communication from Roadrunner if this really has occurred.

My daughter had just 3 days of clothing with her when she first came in Alabama. She does not have any furniture. She’s borrowing clothing and sleeping in an air mattress.

We’ve made several efforts to speak to Roadrunner. They don’t call us back and they’re intentionally vague and condescending about the telephone.

They’re DISHONEST and we’re being utterly abused by these. They are really dreadful to use. I wonder how they’d feel if it had been their life sitting at another condition for weeks and nobody will help! Disgusting!

Greatest moving experience I have ever had. Brett was quite friendly at the booking ending. All of my items came in on and off time and I am quite content. I’d definitely recommend anyone who’s going to use this organization.
