I totally know that one’s encounter with moving companies at large measure is dependent upon the standard of the crew. Sometimes when a team is sub-standard the encounter could nevertheless be considered great if the direction is prepared to make the customer happy. This is NOT the case in Blueline!

My entire experience was horrible from begin to finish!
I sent in a $200 deposit, but haven’t gotten a reception. A few days later… still nothing; no telephone or email acknowledging the deposit. (This ought to have been a hint for me…) Two days prior to the transfer that I called to confirm the appointment. At that moment, I had been told that the provider is having difficulty with the truck. Phil the proprietor asked me if his team could arrive in the afternoon rather than the morning. I reluctantly consented. I fear that when I wouldn’t have predicted, the team would only appear late.
The day of the movement: The team showed up in time. But among these appeared to be quite high. He’d glossy eyes and his address wasn’t clear, of course he was going really slow and lacked any type of initiative. He needed to be given continuous direction from another member of this team. As soon as I saw him, I considered sending away the crew rather than letting them begin the task for fear of these either breaking worse or something… Fixing themselves. I must have! However, I had no back up team scheduled, this movement was already moved later in the afternoon and that I had to concede my flat keys. So I tried to tell myself that things will workout. Even in the event that you presume that this man wasn’t large and just slow, I had been billed $95/hr for 2 movers (that turns out to $47.5 per Agency ). This man was certainly not a $47-dollar man. I probably could find someone for $10-15/hr on CraigsList at the un-skilled labor listings.
They began with two big armoires. After both pieces were at the vehicle I came from the flat and noticed that they were resting on a side rather than being perpendicular. It turns out that the truck was too brief to match them. Their truck was substantially bigger than expected. Even though it was 16 feet long, it was considerably smaller compared to that which one is used to, dependent on U-Haul conventional trucks. The truck freight box has been 80 inches tall at its greatest point and approximately 5 inches less in the opening. A U-Haul truck is 86 inches tall. 6 inches may not sound like much, but in transferring furniture it makes a massive difference. Two of my armoires resting horizontally took up the majority of the truck and it had been clear that the remainder of my furniture won’t match. Now I attempted to get Phil-the owner. Nothing but voice email. I had been expecting to upgrade to a bigger truck or maybe to find an allowance for 2 trips instead of just a single (as proposed ). No response, no call back. The team also attempted to get in touch with Phil… same effect
