It’s now October 29th, 2013.  I used Air1 Storage and Moving to maneuver a one-bedroom apartment from CA to WI at mid-June 2013.  Glad I’ll be placing Air1 to break after I post my own review of those.  While I think of my experience with those men, it makes my belly flip.  My aim in this review would be to place it out there so people do not need to go through everything I went through. 

A few things before I start.  Back in July, after my encounter with them wasn’t moving well, I want to point out that I read similar stories to mine about these men.  You will read about them.  The sole real reason I waited before October 2013 to post my critique is that I wished to find out what they’d reimburse me at the promise I had against them.  Their answer to my claim was unfair.  It wasn’t a surprise.  These men are terrible.  The customer support is a number of the worst I’ve ever encounter.  Think what you read when you read about these men.  They could have the occasional happy client who needed something easy.  However, if it’s large or complicated, this provider isn’t the one that you would like to manage. 

Since the story might wind up being extended I will just leave a record of item that stand out on these.

6)    They will need you select a shipping date but they have the choice of keeping it up to 21 BUSINESS times until they send it to you.  My stuff came 17 days following my asked delivery date.
7)    As a whole, their accessibility by telephone is poor.  They do not call you back sometimes.  They won’t call you to offer you updates.  Quite poor communicators.  All mails from these men were filled with terrible grammar.  I really don’t understand how educated they are or where they’re from.
8)    The man that moved my stuff out of California was a scammer.  He charged me to get a suspicious long distance movement (over 75 ft ) and pocketed the cash himself.  He needed money and would not allow me to place it on my own Air1 invoice or charge card since he wished to pocket the cash himself.

11) The Agency did not even have a formal reception for me personally when he was done.
12) As I mentioned previously, they dropped a box of mine which had roughly $750 worth of textbooks.  The mover did not notice it.  I needed to catch the error. 
13) I registered a claim against Air1 in July 2013 and obtained an offer for settlement in October 2013.  Altogether I feel as if I lost money since they overcharged me in quantity of things, long distance walks.  They dropped a record of books of mine which was worth roughly $750.  They reimbursed me 45 after listening to my complaints.  They lucked out since I had been suckered into consenting to reimbursement of the stuff in 60 cents per pound.

In summary these men run a terrible enterprise.  They do not care about doing a fantastic job for you.  I am looking after you.  Trust me, I’ve other things to do with my time aside from typing a review for one hour.   But performing this review was worthwhile.   When there’s 1 thing about my experience together which is a positive it’s that I feel like I understand every scam in the moving company.  These crooks can keep the 45 bucks for all I care.  I really don’t need anything to do with them anymore.

The worst experince I ever had with any firm… How he cope with me was totaly unprofessional as originally their agent”Dana” gave me less price and afterwards when they arrived for pickup the messup began… they arrived ahead time as my family was sleeping along with few things was unpacked. The individual”Tom” who arrived for pickup was really very rude and loud. He was began fighting with me and began threatening that he won’t move the things because he had been asking for more costs for packaging. I predicted Air1 moving additionally they dint assist me and I must catch my flight from SFO to Orlando so that they were benefiting from this. Eventually they billed me $300 additional and on Monday once I raised this issue with”Dana” she had been even not choosing my mobile phone. The next day three movers came and started removing furniture in the house. The movers likely aren’t bonded due to there back reasons. I had a fantastic experience with them once but my next and final experience was dreadful and quite unsatisfactory. Do your home work.  Nobody must lie. I had been a repeat client. I still had to transfer things on a trailer since I did not get everything.

I contracted Air 1 going it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a moving company, I gave me and estimate and if they showed up the foreman was crying and crying and all of the guys that showed up really un-professional yanking down my boxes stairs ect. Well finally I had been forced to cover an extra $500 bucks for what he stated was a additon 300 cubic ft. This has been 7 med boxes. After that I had been given the run around trying to receive my possessions to my new residence and just after threatening to have the police involved did I eventually get a transfer date that the customer support was so impolite. After the movers sent my belongings they were dreadful, they showed up smelling of smoke one started crying and causing a problem within the flight of stairs in my  house which in my first contract had been told I wouldn’t need to cover interior stairs therefore he refused to proceed some of my things up stairs even after the office had been contacted and it had been confirmed that he simply stayed downstairs whining and yelling about the telephone while another guy moved all the things, boxes were ruined and moist. All were really dirty. I learned about this business online after exploring for local movers plus I called to get a quote following phoning maybe 5 other areas. They seemed very fair and their pricing was superb. They stated they’d package and ship everything in my home. I told them my home was 3 bedrooms plus I’d oversized furniture. They gave me all of the advice and scheduled for June 12 and were about time to get the pickup. The men wrapped everything one by one along with all the furniture also. They attracted the supplies too and that I did not have anything broken at the new location. The truck driver was quite professional and considerate and I was really happy with their support and steered them. I’ll use them again. Thank you Air 1 Moving.

Inventory inacurately obtained by Revenue Rep FORREST.   Forrest failed to add bed frame headboard and footboard in quoted cost. We informed him we had a queen sized mattress. Apparently he supposed that we sleep on merely a box spring and mattress onto the ground.   Never asked about any information whatsoever. Forrest failed to add the magnitude of a 65 inch tv in the quoted cost.   We told Forrest that we’d two televisions such as the sizes create and versions.   He didn’t put the magnitude of their TVs on the stock nor did he estimate us a precise price.Forrest didn’t correctly estimate the Cost of this BBQ Grill at the quoted cost.   According to the shifting team who fulfilled our belongings onto the vehicle we had been quoted the Cost of an interior counter top design grill.   We told Forrest that we had an outside 4 burner BBQ Grill. Forrest didn’t add 2 couch style seats in the stock of their quoted cost.   We advised Forrest we needed a couch couch and two sofa seats. We afterwards learned that he never included that the price of the couch seats in the stock or voiced price.The moving team said on several occassions that it was the very erroneous and beneath comprehensive inventory they’d observed in over 13 Decades of work with the company.Upon speaking to Vicki (BOSS) concerning the issues around the afternoon of the movement Forrest said to her that he’d spoke to me 3 times ahead and confirmed the details of all furniture and things.   This was a totally false statement like I hadn`t spoke to Forrest in over a week and also in NO POINT did we have this type of dialogue through ANY of their past communications.   Vicki told me that she couldn’t give us a petition not to be billed for the neglect of her team since she had been a little company and needed to cover her employees. She then afterwards told me that she had been considering visiting AZ at a single stage but could not picture leaving her Huntington Beach Home. (Truly unable huh???) Upon finishing this claim through this site we discovered that we had the Choice to get insurance to get our possessions.   At no stage did Forrest provide us some Kind of insurance policy whatsoever.We were advised by Forrest that outside possessions would arrive on Saturday Feb. 4th  We were subsequently advised by Vicki on Saturday day Our possessions are there Sunday evening.   On Sunday afternoon that the motorist contacted us and asked whether it was OK to make the delivery in 11:45 PM during the night.   We advised the driver that people didn`t want to disturb the neighbors in that late afternoon and he explained He would be there in 745 AM on Monday morning.   Our possessions didn’t arrive and I spent 3 hours Trying to get ahold of both Vicki along with the motorist.   I received word from Vicki that day that the driver Wouldn’t Have the Ability to arrive before Tuesday morning.   The motorist did not Appear on Tuesday morning and that I had been told He would arrive Tuesday afternoon.   Following the driver didn’t arrive I had been guaranteed by Vicki that the motorist could arrive no later than 7PM.   At precisely 658PM the motorist arrived at my home.   Vicki gave us an 125 buck reduction in exactly what she decribed as a SHOW OF GOOD FAITH.   In using a firendly dialogue with all the drivers I discovered They were out of New York.   I asked them when they’d watched the superbowl since the New York Giants had only won two days before.   They stated They were supposed to operate that they had been assumed to work that weekend but chose to remain in New York in which they moved into a Spanish Pub and Grill to see the match.   I thought it was strange how my possessions were postponed for an unknown motive that were not explained in detail for me personally yet the drivers intentionally told me that they remained behind a few Added times to see the Super Bowl in their own hometown .In These weeks while unpacking and getting settled in we understood that a Number of Our precious and irreplaceable things Were busted ruined and were overlooking.   Many boxes have lost things but are taped closed in a manner that we didn’t tape them. I.e. tape spanned in the form of an X.In decision we had been billed over 700 bucks more because of a innacurate quote.   We ourselves did make an error of misquoting the Number of boxes which we’d.   We ended up getting more boxes compared to that which we told Forrest that we’d have.   This Is the Reason we are just asserting 325 bucks of those 700 bucks which we were over charged for.   We can admit the error that we created.   On the other hand we had been misquoted on the Cost.   The stock taken from Forrest was very innacurate.   We were advised that We’d get our possessions on Saturday but didn’t get our items till Tuesday night.   Our possessions are missing stained chipped and scraped.   We paid for a ceremony to transfer our possessions in a timely professional safe Fashion and we did not get any of these services.As of right now We’re overlooking 30 individual Products.   We’ve suffered damage to almost all of our furniture and harm was caused by our home during the mov

Allow me to first state my initial impression was a good one Bobbie the sales rep was a really nice person to use! With that being said…I’ve nothing else nice to say about the business. They had been ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE COMPANY I’VE EVER DEALT WITH. It began together coming to package up me and saying that they had to charge another fee as it was greater than they expected. . .even though if they moved through the record it had been true. I relented a settled on addl 1k. They came back on the following day to package me and began speaking about addl fees…I said totally NOT!!! The vehicle business they contracted out of came to pickup my vehicle. . .said they’d send in 3 business days also could call 24hrs ahead of time. I named the business on 2nd company now to alert them I had not heard in the shippers. . .was guaranteed a call back no call back. Known as the following day was advised that the shipper was hoping to get me but had my previous home number (YES THE ONE that I MOVED OUT OF…) although I’d given both mobile numbers. The auto shipper then called me stated that they had been hoping to reach me for 2 days on older home number and called the firm. . .spoke to precisely the exact folks I talked to and was advised they’d call them backagain. . .they also obtained NO CALL BACK!! The shipper then advised me somebody required to cover his petrol and it ought to function as Air 1. . .they moved back & on for two days. . .meanwhile my car has been held hostage. I relented again and again also paid the $150 for gasoline. . .was told from the auto shipper to dispute that the amount in my AMEX since it had been their fault. Air 1 states we’ll receive your cash from car shipper as it is their fault. Well I am still short $150. Whew. . .on into another thing. The motorist calls…”I’ve your household goods…I am in your gate. . .can’t create turn into truck. . .we might have to move to smaller truck. . .and cost will probably be addl $800″. REALLY, REALLY, ABSOLUTELY NOT….WILL NOT GIVE YOU A**HOLES ANOTHER DIME!!! Okay. . .we have yet another hostage scenario!!! Not doing so time known as 911. . .driver states I do not unload for authorities. . .don’t really care if you telephone. Police arrived. . .showed them deal with equilibrium and cashier’s check for equilibrium. Described HOA stated they constantly have trailers create deliveries. Driver says I do not wish to test it (later discovered the reason ) not needing na attempt it. . .stalemate!!! Cop says that this is unjust. . .but from the hands this is a civil issue. Once more I relented. . .paid $800 about Amex imagining I could dare. A**HOLES needed me to signal doc saying wouldn’t dare. . .absolutely not!! Eventually they relented. . .no announcement on reception. They began to unload. Remember before when I said I knew why he didn’t need to attempt and create the turn. . .well I discovered two hours to the shipping. The most important driver was indulging in some sort of alcoholic drink w/i two hours that he became belligerent. The other men were doing the job and he remained in the taxi. He kept coming to the home occasionally he had been fine and sometimes he had been really nasty. I guessed he endured from some kind of psychological flaw until I got a whiff of him. . .he reeked of spirits. Then one of those other men walked by me. . .he overly reeked of spirits!! In the procedure a 32 at Sony TV got broken, several things were ruined and or missing!! In short I wouldn’t suggest this moving company to my worst enemy!!

Pickup was an issue. They didn’t speak with the area people regarding the road conditions. Pickups needed to be loaded subsequently taken to a bigger truck. Loading took approximately 7 hrs. Then needed to pay $400.00 additional. Shipping was the exact same issue. We asked smaller truck but they arrived in a 45 feet truck and street couldn’t accommodate you that big. We needed to pay $700.00 additional. Home office didn’t speak with their own drivers. Boxes were torn on corners, sides, tops bend. Boxes were attracted from the house upside down. Some spices leaked and many had to be chucked. Furniture damaged. Legs broken, most’d scratches, grandma clock divided inside (price to fix $750.00), Boxes missing with clothing, kitchen things (all expensive stuff). Proof of boxes being made to match in place. It has been around 2 months and I still can’t find things that we’d. Whether they had been lost or stolen, I can not say.

The first packing of furniture has been quite excellent. I had been impressed, but then it was all downhill.

We lived on a challenging road and proceeded to almost the exact same kind of area. All of this was connected to the house office.

Before I picked a moving company, I read all sort of testimonials online. Some moving companies reviews were poor, however I discovered quite excellent reviews on these movers.
