    Bigger than you think

To begin our trip we predicted each important moving business near us, pods was complete the absolute most pricey, one was unavailable in our region and upack was both available in our region and the area we had been going into and it had been the very cost effective. It was simple to purchase the”relo-cube” on the internet, we chose our dates for fall off and they made certain to phone a day ahead and the day of to ensure that had been when we needed it. Very friendly support. The block in the beginning seem was little, but once we started it and really begun to pack it, it was HUGE. We were able to fit all of our things inside, and also had space to spare. We went on line again, place in that we had been prepared for it to be picked up, they arrived the very next afternoon, with no difficulties. We had it delivered to our newest speech in Arkansas, also had it stored within their unpack place for a couple of days, and they never included any extra fees To our invoice. We unloaded it and called that evening and they arrived first thing in the afternoon to pick this up.

Both of the movers that fell the boxes off wore masks and made us feel quite secure. It was a great experience, and that I really recommend this provider!

    Very satisfied

The entire process was straightforward and well arranged. Particular mention and admiration about Robert in Kansas City who fell and picked up the cubes. He was quite patient, kind and useful. We will definitely utilize U-Pack again.

    Our move.

My husband and I recently moved from Bath, Me to

White Plains Md. and utilized UPack as our transferring service.

We highly recommend this firm. They left a frustrating time so much simpler than we ever thought it’d be. They sent the trailer in time and picked it all up punctually. . What a boon! Everybody we talked to on the telephone and in person once the trailer was sent and picked up were informative and friendly. We thank all people who aided us. We definitely can use you again should we move.God Bless. Melanie Saindon

    So frustrating and disappointing

Our expertise together with U-Pack was extremely annoying and unsatisfactory. We also called and scheduled an appointment, along with the girl on the telephone advised me a price tag, required my credit card info, and affirmed that the trailer could be coming on a Friday. A couple weeks after, this day came and went without a drop-off. I phoned and was told that the girl I talked to never really placed this order. The next rep was really friendly and obviously attempting to be very useful, however, the cost had now changed to 500 more for approximately half of the distance that the first girl had quoted. Plus, we now needed to pay an extra $400 and to find the drop-off date we’d originally been promised. The truck has been dropped off on a Monday, so rather than having a weekend to thoroughly package, we had a single afternoon to hurry through the work as fast as we can. Furthermore, they inform you which you can pay by the foot, however it’s simply feasible to purchase from two-foot increments. From now we payable at the extra price for a last-minute ship, the rush transport, and also the extra distance (again, that was largely included at the very first cost, but maybe not the next ) this work cost roughly TWICE what was initially quoted. We paid to get the truck delivered to a Monday (using their”bonded supply window”), however when we moved to program the drop-off in our new home, we had been advised that even though the truck could be within our destination town Sunday night, drop-offs just happen between 4pm and 8pm, therefore it’d be dropped off Monday day, not morning. We needed to reschedule moving support for Tuesday and so are still perplexed why they insist on carrying the whole day to fall off.

Overall , this business price double that which I expected to cover, brought me a whole lot of stress and hassle in my shifting weekend (switched not-moving-weekend), was slow to send my container, along with the drivers did not even wear masks in two nations with hide mandates. I really could have–and should have!! –hired high tech movers. It might have been only a little amount more fiscally and more, much, much simpler. Should you use them, triple check their job and then funding for surprises.

Countless damaged posessions. Stressful waste of money.

Utilizing UPack turned into an great reduction of possessions and money for my loved ones. We basically paid $3k to get an slow-moving notion, simply to have approximately 1/3rd of our possessions ruined. I filed a claims form to the harm through their site, and has been advised that they”attempt to respond to all complaints within 30 days.” It has been almost two weeks and I have just gotten crickets.

Primarily, you’re sharing cargo space at a semi trailer, and this item will require up (at a minimum) three parking areas. So you better have space to park it to packaging and packaging, and brace yourself for complaints from the neighbors.

You’re then expected to build and de assemble heavy gear on the vehicle (cargo bulkhead and loadbar). For anybody unfamiliar with these 2 bits, I had been stuck trying to install and connect/secure and rip down two large, dilapidated wooden partitions and then fasten them using a sizable reinforced alloy pub. Repeat this procedure in reverse, such as unpacking. My spouse was inaccessible to assist, but even with just two people/movers about the job, I find this is a hazardous proposition — particularly for people inexperienced with cargo (most everybody ). It will not help if the heat is at the upper 90s, along with your shifting truck is fundamentally a massive metal oven. That is likely to produce the bulkhead setup thatmuch much more miserable.

Like I said, we lost nearly all of our possessions. We packed everything in as educated from the directions, and also secured/packed everything as securely as you can. So just how was all bashed to pieces? I can only suppose that the journey was incredibly rough.

1 difficulty with Upack is the fact that it’s near impossible for the one to correctly package a big semi trailer. Because you won’t receive everything firmly packed into the surface (unless you went mad using a ladder), your things are sure to dip about. But that is not the customer’s fault. It is only a faulty idea.

Insert from the huge burden and high rates of a semi truck, and your possessions are certain to get destroyed. At least, ours were. We dropped our tv, TV stand, bath cupboard, dishes, glassware, chairs, and much more. Half of those boxes have been ruined or damaged. One of tv stand legs snapped off clear throughout the transportation.

I wish I’d completely moved in before filing my claim. We’re still gradually unpacking, also coming over more and more broken possessions. I really don’t believe this business cares one piece, either.

Do not take your chances of UPack. Not only is their support inconvenient and costly, their lack of consumer maintenance (in my experience) is almost non-existent.

If I could give zero stars I would. The worst encounter and won’t ever use this provider again. It took seven days to receive my possessions when they explained 2-4 days. These really are unapologetic and lack any sort of empathy. In case you need to pick between Pods and these I’d certainly go with Pods. Worst moving business ever!

Upack badly damaged by not using blankets

I bought $400 worth of blankets. Upack suggested firm to use to package trailer. I saw the for a little while but needed to go pack a bit more. As soon as I came back the majority of the blankets were fresh. I asked the reason why. They said they understood how to package and was doing this for 20 decades. (Always have a few friends that will assist you see the movers and flame movers on the place if they’re mishandling you possessions ).

When merchandise came from storage that which was scratched, torn, broken or worn in some manner. UPAcK states that the moving labour contractor they proposed would be to blame and I was cautioned (?) I was assumed to serve as supervisor/foreman of the loading team. Moving Solutions stated UPACK was going to blame because everything moved to the truck unharmed! That I must have complained before the vehicle abandoned! I utilized UPAK Due to the standing of ABF. Additionally I utilize the moving labour contractor they proposed. This material was nearly new Costco solid wood furniture. ….Firewoood available for sale!!!!

    Every Item Damaged

UPack moving is extremely convenient! HOWEVER, everything has been broken, stained, wet, or otherwise damaged. The movers I’ve hired stated that”each trailer that they started out of UPack resembles that”. It quite literally seems like that they put it trough a crusher, soaked everything in plain water, and then shoveled dirt onto it.

Move from Belleair FL to Nantucket MA

U Bundle was wonderful. We needed to provide a rental house on Nantucket (a Isle just reachable by ferry) in Florida. They assisted us every step along the way, such as a postponement because of Covid 19. They kindly changed our dates free of cost. The capacity to monitor the truck throughout the whole movement was reassuring and both the pickup and fall off motorists were very helpful and considerate. I would strongly suggest U package.

    A great experience

I had a terrific encounter with upack. Each step of the procedure was smooth, friendly and efficient.

When I first contacted them to obtain an estimate, thee were favorable fast and beneficial. In addition they did not pester me following the quotation for me to commit (like several other firms failed ).

When I booked the trailer, the same matter. Fast, friendly and productive. It was even easy to reschedule when plans changed because of this pandemic.

Drop off and pickup, in the old home and the brand new, went as intended.

Every person I talked with was professional and friendly. I actually had a fantastic experience together.

The sole reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I did not get up the pick affirmation that they assured me. I needed to devote a small amount of additional time looking for if my delivery could occur.

I would also warn against their box provide sub contactor. They were rather cluttered, and that I needed to contact them a few times to get all of the boxes that I purchased. Additionally, their boxes are somewhat flimsy.

    U pack moving

I’m completely happy, ABF trailer has been sent in time and if promised. The movers which were contracted to assist me load were effective and did a fantastic job packaging things. I would advise paying for movers to load up the trailer, or so the trailer is packaged properly to secure your items. I provided plenty of straps and rope, load has been tied off several occasions during procedure. I was informed when trailer came at destination town and organized that a drop off time. Trailer is readily unloaded in case you’ve got sufficient help and that I had lots of time for unloading. In comparison to previous movement, I believed UPack communicated much better and that I had been given contact numbers to all parties involved and may figure out in anytime that the advancement of my movement. Will use again when desired.

First cross country move; UPack was the best choice!

UPack’s support was outstanding because of my very first cross country move. The cost point was in my way to manage to continue to keep my possessions and furniture. The ceremony was amazing; each time that I phoned UPack or even ABF they had been professional and pleasant and went over and beyond to assist me. I’d absolutely recommend them to anybody seeking to move and will not be afraid to use them again.

    Excellent service

This was the very first time that I moved across country and I am rather glad that I utilized UPACK. The price was within budget and the service was impeccable. The drivers were courteous and quite useful. When my furniture came there was a difficulty. At the cover of the truck was ruined and water leaked on my mattress. I called the company and within hours I had been contacted to resolve this matter. It took a bit more than two weeks to have a check for the price of my mattress in hand. It might have taken less time, but I put the incorrect address on the form to the test to be sent. I didn’t catch that error, however, UPACK emailed me personally to check the address. Rebecca S. together with the Lake Charles place CAUGHT the error and advised me of it. I haven’t been more happy with a business than I’ve already been with UPACK movers. I really don’t know more about the real people that they urge to move the furniture. ( I WISH I HAD USED THEIR RECOMMENDED MOVERS, as my real movers were dreadful ) if you’re moving, I’d certainly suggest UPACK.

Move from Ogden,UT to Mobile, AL

This is actually the second time that I have used UPack & ABF. The very first time was June, 2008 from Atlanta into Ogden, Ut. Delivery afterward was as promised. Had trailer for two days. Picked up on the requested date and was in my own driveway in Ogden 5 times afterwards. The trailer beat me there. ABF gave me additional days (at no extra charge) to let me reach my destination. They picked the trailer up that the afternoon after we unloaded. The nice and timely support for this move persuaded me to use ABF again. The next movement was Dec 12, 2019 from Ogden, Ut into Mobile, AL.. This movement had to be rescheduled six (6) times. UPack assisted me in changing the moving date, found me a much better rate from the initial reservation and always followed up with mails each and every time a change was created. They’re always courteous and helpful to me personally. The trailer was picked up on Dec 16, 2019 and has been send to my speech in Mobile on Dec 30, 2019. The trailer really arrived in the ABF terminal in Pensacola, FL on DEC 24th, seven times traveling time for 2100+miles and also through a holiday period. ABF delivered the trailer on the time and day I’d asked. They were professional and prompt about the shipping and pickup. I am just one girl and the motorists helped me on the two ends of the move together with all the overlaps and the bulkheads. The drivers also suggested to me the ideal location to ownership the trailers as not to get too near the roof of my house and continue to have the ability to load and unload with as a number of measures as you can.
I strongly suggest UPack & ABF to the moving needs. I don’t really intend to proceed but when I have to, then I’ll use this service again. I could not be more satisfied with this particular corporation.

If I could give 0 stars I would...

I’m still awaiting my dispatch from unpack…

I had been quite clear on the particular date necessary for birth and made special lodging and paid extra $$ to ensure a date. This was the sole reason why I picked this corporation.

What a mistake. No call, no show. I wasted a day, did not have some note and caused many downstream prices they refuse to repay.

Buyer beware. This firm does not have any accountability OR ethics. Prevent!!

    Poor service, unreliable, dirty cubes

For the cost I wasn’t particularly happy with the dimensions of the cubes, they’re a foot too tall and it leaves that distance rather useless unless you are loading only boxes.

My cubes also arrived filthy so all of my stuff has been needing a considerable wipe down.

The most important reason I am leaving a 1 star is because of the fall off service. They supply you with a time out of 8-12 when they’ll fall off your cubes. That’s a relatively big window in my view for something delivered.

Being single I advised people to assist me proceed to be there in my home at 12:30…. I received no calls on the tardiness of my block or any Kind of communication besides once I called the shipment explained’yes they’re on the way in which you are following on the delivery’

They didn’t appear until 2:58pm, and so I paid two movers for 3 hours of sitting around. The customer support is horrible. When they said’delivery before 5pm’ that could have been nice, but do not be three hours late and not contact the individual and then also lie to them a few times.

Inferior business, would urge PODS or alternative solutions.

The only good thing was that their direction heard me outside in my frustrated nation and were really professional.

    Couldn't be happier!

Wish to learn about upack, here is all you have to understand. I’d offer them 10 STARS IF I COULD!!!! What about our movement was easy. I needed to alter the transfer date about 3 months beforehand. No issue. They came at the time window that they said that they would. The motorists on the two ends of our pickup and send places were super friendly, very professional and we can see precisely where our two containers were ever single measure of the solution. The dispatchers were super pleasant, answered every question we had, AND if we found we’d moved cross country to dwelling filled with mould and had the containers delivered into a storage device 33 miles away in the first destination rather…. NO Issue. While I’m now purchasing a home and expect never to go again, I’d utilize UPACK IN A HEARTBEAT!!!! They far outshined other people, for example two prior movers which we tried to organize, among which needed to control me more than 4 grand to transfer 85 boxes without a furniture! Upack was 1700! Everything came in excellent form. THIS is the only organization to utilize to get a transfer! You have choices about which to select, cubes, or even a trailer. Consider the measurements on the internet, discover out what suits you best. If unsure, order an additional block just like we did. It had been well worthwhile. If shifting furniture, then I would suggest that you do exactly the trailer distance instead.I have moved 10 times in my personal life. This is actually the only time that I did not need to pull my hair out from the end of this. Pack your belongings properly and wrapping your furniture just as though a professional plumber is doing this and your belongings will arrive at tip top shape with no problem. Not just one thing of ours has been ruined.

    Beware

We utilized U-Pack to move from Florida to Kentucky. As simple as the provider makes it seem, it isn’t. Coordinating all of your furniture and materials in these tiny cubes is practically not possible. Additionally, all our cubes were filthy on all 6 sides that caused different colours to move on our furniture. We did wrap the majority of our things but maybe not every single thing. We also utilized their storage support for 1.5 weeks at a really premium price, just to shed a few pieces of furniture to mould if we unloaded. From the fine print, they inform you it isn’t a climate controlled storage facility. Finally, they were out of the 5 HOUR window for the two deliveries of their cubes. Yes, we saved money on the transfer, however, the frustration of loading everything ourselves along with shedding over half of our stuff, we didn’t. I doubt they have some repeat clients.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SAN JOSE CA TO MARIETTA GA

Our expertise with all people we dealt with in UPack was so great. I needed to change my shipping address twice and was anxious it would have messed up but it did not. The dispatcher in the terminal at San Jose explained the entire procedure for me personally (I asked everybody I contacted exactly what the procedure was because this was a superb stressful movement ) and was really favorable. I was known as when it came in Atlanta to organize delivery which went smoothly too. The UPack motorist in Atlanta has been a massive help! The supervisor in the storage facility initially desired him to place the block on the opposite end of the centre which makes it alot of effort to move a block filled with boxes and furniture all of the way throughout the storage centre at 95 degree weather. TC spoke to her and promised that he could put it nearer with no being in the manner of different movers. This was a enormous help. We also packed our things so closely from the block no matter it transferred so that it came in tact. I’d use them again for certain.

    Superb Service and Flexibility!

We chose to utilize UPack because of their aggressive rates to employing a moving truck. When they showed up, we were worried our things would not match but the driver had an excess container and told us that they could drop it together with the others and we’d only be billed to those we used. He supplied us that the piece of mind knowing we’d have the ability to fit all of our stuff and we would not be billed for an empty container! The delivery/Pick up of these containers were on time and also we could monitor their place during the move. Another thing which was great was that they had no difficulty altering the drop off place the day prior to shipping! Thanks for the fantastic experience and I’d certainly use them again and recommend them to other people!

    Our self move using U-Pack

We transferred from Georgia to Ohio with U-Pack. The folks at the ends have been friendly and useful. Our trailer was sent quite early on the day asked, 8:30am. Select up was later than expected but nevertheless on the evening needed. Delivery of this trailer at destination was punctually and in good shape. Select up of this vacant unit has been immediately done. Only problem we had was using the trailer wall panels. The sliding bars wouldn’t operate properly and easily. One has been bent. We needed to use a hammer to have it secured in position. To receive it removed we needed to did-assemble among those pubs in the wall for out it. If you are prepared to do the job, this can be an incredibly economical method to do it. Our complete price with trailer, provides and a few hired help has been approximately 25 percent of a moving firm along with our land never abandoned the truck to transfer or storage. It was constantly underneath our locks, so the firm had no access to our home. I would recommend U-Pack to people prepared for a few lone hours loading and packaging.

Longer than expected, poor customer service

We’ve utilized ABF Upack earlier when we transferred from Canada into the US ten decades back. We were delighted with the support we received afterward. Our final adventure could not have been more distinct.

Everything went well till they sent the van in our source speech. The driver parked in the road, 50 feet off because he was not competent to back up at the driveway. We needed to phone the source service centre to request for a different driver to back the trailer, and fortunately , they obliged into the petition.

We packed the van and called on Monday for pickup, anticipating the van to arrive at destination two days afterwards, as ensured from Upack; destination has been just 5 hrs drive from source.

The van came Thursday morning in the Savannah service centre and still couldn’t be sent until late Friday despite many calls to the support centre. Complete transit period was 5 times. Customer service clarified me that I must have predicted if they picked up on the van at origin on Monday to inform them which I actually wanted this to be sent two days after…. Apparently, this can be Upack definition of 2 days ensured.

To top it off, the did not chosen up the van as agreed to once we were finished unloading. Woman in the Savannah service centre was futile.

The next time, I’ll look at leasing a truck and forcing myself, to get a third of this price tag, particularly if the transfer is short space. If you’re planning to employ them to your relocation, prepare yourself to devote some time on the telephone to be certain you get everything you paid for.

    Stolen ring

I hired a Upack truck to get my transfer from NY to FL. The truck took 6 weeks to get there. Many boxes were opened, lots of things broken, mirrors, lamps, furniture, along with my ring and other jewelry moved lost. I’d put my jewelry in a bag and put it at the base of a box at the middle of this truck. How could they have discovered this? It’s likely that using metal detectors or xray machines. They new exactly where to go. I repent using Upack and could not use them again. Use a respectable company whenever you opt to move. You get exactly what you pay for. Upack never responded to my claim.

Great Experience. They worked with us when our closing was delayed.

We’d the 28′ preview, and packaged it into the brim ourselves together with everything in the home, such as the riding mower.
We utilized pallet wrap to protect the wooden furniture and anything else with glass, and cardboard boxes to everybody else that was not in a plastic shower, and it all came at our destination in time in excellent state.
We also had an problem with all the people buying our home delaying a parallel final, because of flaws in their funding. I predicted U-Pack, and they consented to extend the time to get the preview pick-up for a minimum of two days past the printed limit for no extra cost. I saved me a great deal of money and stress doing so!

The Worst Moving Experience Of My Life!

I had been recommended to UPack with a realtor buddy who thought she’d heard great things about them
I transferred my whole dwelling ie classic furniture, pottery, art, dishes, clothes etc two countries over
When I opened the rear end of the truck my whole load of possessions was thrown from the air and essentially ruined
The driver clearly struck something (or proceeded over something big ) but didn’t report the Crash
So although UPack could obviously see that the extensive damage (I asked an appraiser) they still refused to accept any obligation or pay for all the damages
I was present the Whole time that the 24 foot truck was loaded with specialists and understand 100% the state that my possessions were actually going in
The only real way so many things could have been shattered was since the truck has been wrecked
I strongly advise everyone NOT to utilize UPack
They Don’t stand by their own so-called insurance and do not take any responsibility their own drivers
UPack is simply a really very bad business

    Beyond Mad!!!

Horrible. I booked a preview 5 weeks prior to our move from CA to MI. I predicted a month ahead of our move to confirm because we live rurally and onto well maintained dirt streets. I spoke to 3 people: Customer Support, Sales and the Los Angeles distribution centre. We all said yes, no issue. 1 man even looked up us on Google Earth. Now two days until we’re set to acquire a trailer I called to receive their drop off time. I had been told afterward that they can not deliver to us since we live on dirt streets. WTF!!!! I clarified I was confident they would and they had no record of my previous call. HOW CONVENIENT!!! Today we must jump through hoops to obtain another moving business last minute so that we could proceed in 4 times. Thank you U-Pack for creating our already stressful transfer a nightmare. I will make certain to discuss this with other people so that they avoid you like the plague.

The loading ramp in our starting place was a but ruined by a forklift, however, the driver repaired it and demonstrated everything for us. On the receiving end, we had a brand-new ramp. The key is that you will need to pack things right, and can not leave matters loose to dive around. Of the complaints I have noticed, many are all about broken products. . .well, choose the blame since you package it and load it! I suggest obtaining E-Track cargo nets and straps, or buy D-Ring converters that plug in, or else you are likely to be out of luck. In addition, I suggest paying careful attention to the measurements of the locks it is possible to utilize on the freight divider. It is pretty hard to obtain an adequate padlock which will fit from the very narrow hole at the divider handles. I utilized some Brinks metal ones following trial and error on 5+ other locks. Check out that on the information page to ensure to receive the ideal kind. Pick up and drop off was simple, even on military bases, and all went as planned.

I could not be more happy with my experience with U Package! Customer support was amazing. Everybody I spoke to has been super friendly and useful. I changed the specifics of my move a few occasions and they never missed a beat! The trailer fall off/pick up went off without a hitch as well as the ABF drivers were friendly and helpful. I picked guaranteed birth and my trailer came exactly when I wanted it. The cost absolutely can’t be beat. I even hired local organizations to fill and load my truck (in my ) and the price was still a portion of what I’d have paid to get a conventional moving service. Again, I can not mention that the customer service sufficient, outstanding. Would recommend to anybody! Thanks!

    Absolute worst experience!

Total WORST service I have ever received! I moved halfway across the nation the onset of the month out of Fayetteville, NC to Houston, Texas. It was a major move, and so I wished to proceed with a business that provided excellent service in addition to reassurance. This firm looked like a excellent option at the moment, but after it had been time to get things moving everything that could have gone wrong did. The block was likely to be picked up around the 6th of the month, it did not occur for months! The cargo business UPack hired to pick up it maintained that their osmosis was trapped in sand in order that they would not have the ability to pickup. Weekly and a couple of days go by and nobody had called to offer me an upgrade so I phoned myself to find out what was happening. Nobody can tell me that the status of my relo-cube. A couple of moments went by and a person called back to inform me that it was picked up and could be in its way at the end of the afternoon (untrue ). Before Thanksgiving a person phoned and asked if I knew whether or not the block was picked up since his men was having difficulties obtaining access to this area. By this time I had already been in Houston for a couple weeks. I called the company to complain about the length of time it was and how I did not appreciate not understanding where my items were. I had been talked down to thinking something was definitely going to be done about it, just to get my items arrive almost a month later it was supposed to, and also a little credit to knock down the price. These folks still charged me full price with this crap. They do not even have storage choices so I will need to find a way to receive my items in my own. Save yourself the hassle, go with a different provider! They promise”quality service” and also”good customer support” I disagree.

I recently moved from Florida to New York and had an excellent experience with UPack. They had been half the price of a moving company that I have used previously. You can’t say you weren’t warned

Really among the worst moving experiences I’ve experienced — and that’s saying something give I’ve moved 16 times in 35 decades. That which I had been told – by the dimensions of the block required to the time required to hire movers into the delivery instructions – were incorrect. The type of wrong, obviously, that profited the provider. A transfer estimated to cost about $2,500 price over $4,000. Neither U-Pack nor its subcontractor, Moving Staffers, take responsibility for whatever. Do yourself a favor and go with a different organization. The tension and heartache just are not worthwhile.

My spouse and I made a decision to go out of the Seattle area to the town of the births – New Orleans. We had been talking about doing so for many years and finally decided to just do it. We spent a great deal of time (a few weeks) exploring various moving companies that ran the gamut from complete service to shuttle movers. The only we kept returning to was U-Pack. . .and after having finished our movement. . .we can honestly state that it had been the best choice we could have made. Honest to a fault. Professional. Helpful. Always prepared to spend some opportunity to assist when we had questions. Courteous and really friendly. From begin to finish this was a smooth movement. The truck came punctually. The drivers were exceptionally beneficial. We followed their packaging recommendations and did not lose or split one product. Also, their pricing has been dead on without any openings as well as within our funding. This is our final move however, if we needed to do it again, we would not even blink at picking U-Pack again. They were that good.

Excellent Service at very low cost-- first time long distance mover

That is our very first time interstate/long space move.We utilized UPack to maneuver in Denver,Colorado to Atlanta,Georgia. I’ve got estimates from other moving solutions, however, UPack gave me the very best(cheap) quote. We purchased 2 relocubes, but amazingly all my things (1 king mattress & mattress, dining table, television stand & television, 6X4 ft armour/shelf), workplace table/chair and great deal of my children toys and home hold things ) was placed into a single block. So they billed me for just 1 block, my overall moving price of a 1BD flat material is about $1800 for example storage for 1 month. I suggest UPack for secure and economical moving. They had been constantly accessible on telephone and upgrading me each time that there was a shift in the position. I drove into Atlanta in Denver, we chose 3 times to drive into Atlanta. From the time we reached Atlanta that our upack already attained Atlanta. As I dont even have a flat to unload my belongings we took a month storage, but after 3 times we obtained and flat and unloaded outside things. None of my things is brokenup, for example my TV.

Here’s What I didn’t correctly pack my things:
    1. Watched great deal of youtube movies on packaging
    2. Took pictures of all my rooms prior to packaging, only incase to assert when anything misses through transport.
    3. Purchased all packaging material from HomeDepot, such as packaging rope, tape, heavy duty medium boxes(28 boxes) and bubble wrap, and they’re all very good quality in comparison to those offered at Walmart.
    4. Noted all of the things packed into every box, on the boxes and also onto a different notebook.
    5. After every 2 rows of boxes packed from the relocube, tied the rope so that the previous two rows of boxes wont dropped down or proceed during transport.
    6. Took images after loading the boxes.

Poor service from start to finish

Stay far away from the firm. They missed their shipping date into the transfer in place even after repeated calls to the shipment confirming delivery date and time, obtained the amount of containers to send incorrect, failed to pick up the container over the date guaranteed efen after verifying with shipment, picked up containers 6 weeks after, didn’t send to destination place for more than 14 days following being advised delivery of 3 – 5 times. After all this delivered an email to Upack detailing each of the issues and asked to be contacted concerning the bad experience and got no followup from them. TERRIBLE firm. I saw a lot of excellent reviews that I decided to give it a go, but don’t expect them to get your things for you anywhere NEAR the projected moment. I have needed to phone every terminal it ceased at just to make them transfer my things into another one rather than letting it sit for days. It is a week ago if it was assumed to be here. I am literally banging the ground. My material was stuck in a terminal few hours off for THREE DAYS. Each time they promise it will be here now ends up gambling pushed back another half an hour. There is seemingly no communication involving upack as well as the terminals. It is complete amateur hour. As an”apology” that they took a hundred dollars off my invoice but a hundred dollars will not get me my mattress to sleep on and a week of the period back.

    BEWARE!

I paid $4300 to maneuver 21 feet of trailer in Massachusetts to Texas. BEWARE! They tried charging an additional foot also. Walls simply allow even feet settings. They require no responsibility for whatever. Instead, they piggybacked our trailer in a 15 deg angle along with our professionally packed (shifting staffers) load changed over 2000 milesper hour Ruined our sofa. They then say it isn’t coated and even though it had been, its $0.10/ lb. So if you don’t have it worry, overlook about whatever else valuable. Instead of provide anything they simply send a email telling you that its not insured.

Transferring staffers also just cover while they’re onsite. How do you inform while they’re packing?

So ABF does not cover anything nor does moving staffers. Thus BEWARE.

    TERRIBLE MOVERS!!!

UPack is a Really dishonest and Extremely unprofessional moving business
Their driver ran off the street that caused my whole 26 foot load to fly out of the front of the trailer into the very back wall
Most my antiques and other possessions were trashed, broken, dented and scraped
UPack promised me that my possessions were”secured” as a portion of the fee if any damage occur
But when the damage occurred they had refused to pay for their carnage
Do NOT employ these crooks to proceed anything or you’ll certainly regret it! ????????

Horriable customer service, dishonest far from Professional

Used this support to get a from state transfer. . .now I can’t get my possessions. .

Was advised it had been a door to door service, perhaps not send my belongings into a service centre and wait for the payment. . When I voiced my worry, all I got was rear lash and belittled about the telephone.

Rather than working together with youpersonally, they google your title (Neal) and endanger you in the Event That You write an overview (Chelsea) [this is your critique, lets see just how bad it gets for me personally Chelsea]

I don’t have any reassurance they they will send my things, they require payment until the ceremony is complete. .

Now it’s super simple to acquire the container but hopeless to have it delivered.

They compare themselves to amazon to justify why they won’t provide my container…

Therefore, if you’re considering using them, simply go to amazon and purchase new things. . Since there’s a excellent opportunity you won’t gets your following you package up it…

Awesome customer service and most reliable on time delivery

Allow me to begin by stating that we’re so grateful and respectful of UPack business and amazing support!
We’ve got initially reserved a neighborhood small business movers to fully transfer us in NH to TX Jan 29th 2018 per month ahead to be ready and all. The organization from North Hampton NH is currently named Preferred Legislation that promised they do per week extended distances out of NH to South of USA… the proprietor Patrick Briemer along with his earnings man Zack visit our 650 square feet imaginable in Hampton to provide us a quote asnd signal contract should we enjoy his pricing on a Friday morning weeks before the big shift. Seems as they are nice men and most importantly and reassure people that they frequently do so very long distance transfer and to not worry. He stated he is going to have the ability to load the truck around Jan 29th about 7am to 9am and have it sent and unload into our new house in TX about February 8th. We announced and we began packaging and all. Mind you we predict three or more weeks beforehand to aim this.
Now let us fasforward this on Jan 24th Wednesday ahead of the large transferring date Monday Jan 29th pickup. The proprietor calls me up and tells me that he lost yet another major cargo that was likely to go South along with all our materials since our load wasn’t too large. He ends up stating as a courtesy telephone he’ll continue to be able to pickup our items on Jan 29th but will probably just delivered our items across February 19th. .thats when he could signup another family to go South along with all our items!!! 3 fourteen days minimum to wait patiently with our home belongings 2000 miles apart. We were angry! He said he’ll make some calls into a sister company named Ray the Mover at Manchester NH (just another lying without a ethic company btw). We’re just few days off in the transfer and we’ve got a lot of our pets on to push cross country for 27 hours and we also will not have our items at the least for another 3 months!
We’re panicking, angry, frustrated and worried. We attempted to phone him back another day Thursday Jan 25th, the next day following Friday Jan 26th to no avail that the proprietor Patrick Brieme along with his earnings man Zack never respond or call backagain. Friday all morning that I predict all different regional movers but without a success because of last minute see nobody has accessibility to transfer us in three days that could be Monday Jan 29th. We freaked out, I drove to Preferred Movers at North Hampton 10 minutes away… and attempted to determine whether the proprietor was there or even Zack his own saslesguy. Just to learn that none of these two were there however their secretary. I was mad but stayed calm. Told the secretary concerning the problem and she informs me: that they seldom push to TX and occasionally have shipements into FL just but dont think they ever went to TX! After she phoned Patrick the proprietor who’d dismiss our calls several days until our movement he chickened out did not even have the courtesy to talk to me personally and that I had been standing there listening for their dialog. I made our reservation directly on the place and she gave me the explanation that he is getting the influenza and all but could nevertheless pickup our items Monday and send it out if he sees another significant load to boat out together with our items! Not okay, disrespectful, unprofessional, and undependable organization. After she hangs up that the secretary had the audacity to give me her very own husbands telephone number to assist load our items into containers when we were to utilize UPACK. She tells me to keep this between her and that I since her boss Patrick does not understand that her husband does operate on both sides….WOW. What type of local company is that? Its very own secretary / worker is attempting to receive her own husband a side company being her own boss back. . .NO THANK YOU. I went and left home.
At this time we predicted UPACK. An extremely wonderful guy picked up and stated they’d have the ability to send Monday Jan 29th two little Relocubes to us directly before our apt at NH however we might need to go load ourselves. At this time we had to be transferred out by then so we did not care my husband and I’d do our own transfer. UPACK texted me and an agent even called us 1 hour before they sent the Relocubes. We are there punctually no hassle put directly where we needed them. We filled both Relocubes for their fullest and just had to click on a hyperlink and known as UPACK and place our own containers to be picked up two weeks after Jan 31st and we did not have to be current because we were departing for a very long road trip that same morning. Our neighbor stairs texted us several hours afterwards to let us understand the cubes were being picked up on time such as UPACK guaranteed us. Regardless of what, the afternoon before our dispatch was dropped away from the texted us which it will be delivered ensured date Monday Feb 5th!!!! That is wonderful. Arrived right now, fine gentleman arrived and asked us where we all need it to be put. So it came Monday Feb 5th to TX from NH and then we found that the containers along with also our blocks were picked up Wednesday Feb 7th with no being present. UPACK WERE OUR SAVIORS. Superb customer assistance, RELIABLE, punctually. They meant what they said and guaranteed! We’ll certainly use them again THANK YOU UPACK TEAM.

    DISAPPOINTED - WET RELOCUBE

I’d adverse experience also. Three of my own boxes GOT WET, over $850 in broken luggage and clothes. Upack admitted uncertainty in their own pod and because it’s the policy which the client assumes all sensibly no insurance has been available and they compensated the maximum of $3% for an amount of 78. They market watertight pods although perhaps not so. I had been advised that unfortunately they can not test every container and now it will be repaired since they understand. Surely does not help out me. I’d even called before hand once I read the deal and has been reassured that all the error for their gear wasn’t on me. . .not so. Inadequate policy. I had been advised that I must be pleased with $78 since it had been paid in the maximum permitted sum. I informed the rep that the $78 wouldn’t replace even one bag. EXTREMELY defeated in UPACK.

Expensive items such as a brand-new queen size mattress and box springs along with a few hand made quilts. We could dry them out so although I was angry I let it go and guessed it was a fluke. Moving promises not kept.

I hired U-Pack for 2 block shipping containers from Texas to California.
The freight company would not go down my nation community street like UPack promised that they could so I needed to rent a UHaul moving truck, pack everything into it and push it up to the cargo provider and move it into the protected cubes.
I provided me a discount because of my problems (insufficient reduction however ).
While I was on my way up into the cargo company (even while driving there) UPack phoned me and stated that they did not really have the cubes offered for me.
They stated the cargo company had 12 feet of the bulkhead of a transport container (unsecured). Ya…I had no option. I was leaving to drive to California shortly after I loaded the cargo container.
They said they’d offer me a discount. And again, not nearly enough to the difficulties that they put me through.

My stuff came at California approximately 5 days after, but I am thinking it is because the freight company was sending it. Who knows where it might have ended up if UPack was in control of the delivery.
After the cost went through my accounts it had been to get the sum before the final screw up. They did not charge me the sum with the reduction for needing to utilize the bulkhead of the cargo container. They did not honor their word. They stated they’d divide the difference.
So, I got a reduction of $150 for needing to utilize a unsecured bullhead of a semi automatic cargo container.
Whenever they promised something that they could not follow through.
I won’t ever use them again! I should of went with PODS!

    Affordable and on time

We recently transferred kind Boston to Cleveland OH.The estimated moment was out of Jan 30-Feb 2. The trailer has been dropped off on time on 25th and pickup on Jan 27th. It had been came on Cleveland about the Jan 30th. I’d called three times for Cleveland branch to supply the trailer. After put on Feb 2nd, motorist arrived on time and was still really pleasant to help out my inspector which we hired to transfer several employees. We’d tipped him because he had been extremely wonderful.
Overall considering the purchase price and also quality, we’re extremely delighted with the outcome. But I certainly will use them again if my husband complete two years contract we must go again.
My advise is don’t use their preferred shifting staff and employ your own out of neighborhood. This way is simpler and you may completely control the grade. We supervised whole procedure for loading and wrap. Not a single thing is broken or chipped. It’s a dependable and very affordable means to move your house.
Our estimated cost was $1,388 according to 15 ft. But we just found 9 ft, they repay us210 today. Yeswe respect their honorable method of conducting business.

Noting went well except charging my credit card

The first quote online was different compared to the last quote, since we didn’t”finalize” the initial quotation. Labour costs were substantially different (double). It took several phone calls to make sure they had the right shipping address. The delivery of this truck for us to package has been more than 4 hours late with no communicating and when we predicted , the time kept shifting. We had family and friends to assist load, that needed to depart, meaning we couldn’t load and fix the things we wanted to prior to the transferring labour (U-pack provided ) arrived the morning after. As we were within the home helping with moving things, we couldn’t also confirm every bit secured and loaded. Following the 3 hours of loading, the laborers abandoned and we finished packing the final items (bicycles, lamps peculiar sized etc). After the labour we hired to unload the truck opened the truck in destination, we discovered lots of parts of furniture considerably damaged. Some was out of the loaders (u-pack provided ) pushing furniture round the grated floor, breaking the rear legs. Other things showed less harm, but although the ground of the truck”seemed” swept clean, there was seemingly fatty fatty residue which was now soiling some furniture pieces. Other shelving units have been WAY over-packed with hefty boxes inducing the shelves to split, and the rear of the components to”blow out”. A china hutch had enormous gouge marks on the front border, There was considerable load shifting and harm, such as an 800lb ratchet strap which was busted. This showed that the driver(s) were careless and even irresponsible in providing the contracted load. U-packs just remark was $.10/pound per cargo contract. You Understand as well as I do, this May Be acceptable under the legislation in the Event the LOADERS AND DRIVERS ACTED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. If U-pack and its own loaders violated the contract by behaving in a careless manner not contemplated normal and customary, they need to be held liable for the complete extent of the damages they caused. This wasn’t our very first transfer, NOT the first time we employed a cargo business, NOT the very first time studying a cargo contract… It WAS that the very first time I believed I’d become among the victims of this excellent cargo scam permitting businesses to conceal behind the $.10/pound law. Its time for this to change. We’ve got a new president, we want new legislation to safeguard the consumer. At the mean time DO NOT USE U-PACK. If you don’t do not mind fixing and replacing Expensive furniture.

    Moving awesome-No Damage No Theft...

I utilized U-Pack double and I’m very much happy with their services. It’d be better if they’ve somewhat less elevation and not as much length trailer accessible just like UHaul (10′ by 12′ will be nice ). No harm No Theft. I’ve lost several things in my very first move using a moving company thus choose U-Pack and I believe this is very best. All of the Very Best U-Pack group…

Bottom line: UPack did what they promised.

We proceeded from Boston MA to Portland OR, with UPack. We went together because we believed we would have the ability to load/unload ourselves and didn’t need to have the bother of driving a big vehicle throughout the nation.

This is our very first move in more than 30 decades so that there was lots of things – likely then we ought to have brought with us. The (large!) Trailer has been dropped off over the guaranteed 4 hour window and then left in our drive. It took us 5+ days to package… thank goodness for the weekend which they picked up the trailer close to the conclusion of the four hour pickup window.

We had to keep our belongings for nearly a month because we had not found a house in Portland, however, UPack accommodated us to get the normal monthly storage speed.

The trailer has been dropped off in the new destination within the guaranteed 4 hour window and we all could set it in around 6 hours, trusting that they can take it off the following day (Friday, or so the drive would be apparent to the weekend.) We were somewhat disappointed that they did not come Friday, however, we detected mid-day Saturday that it had been gone.

The 3 motorists we dealt with were all friendly and useful. They helped us place up/remove the ramp in both places. The employees from the shipment offices along with the call centre were also useful and accommodating.

We did encounter some minor hurts, however I blame our packaging technique for it.

Issues… The only method to tie things down was using all the slots at the walls. It was stable enough but not conducive to linking with ropes. Additionally, the bulkhead that they supplied to seal our material in was quite tough to shield; we’ve got it finally, but it had been a battle. Finally, because we looked at homes to purchase, we’re constantly aware that a 29′ trailer would have to fit someplace nearby for all of us to sew. (not always a issue, but definitely an account.)

In general, this is an easy and trouble-free movement and UPack was still an significant part that.

Broke their contract; did not deliver to my house.

Overview: They just utilize big tractor trailers and couldn’t send to my house. They left me unpack in their own warehouse , re-pack a moving van, and also transfer myself out of their warehouse.

The Details: Nice individuals working to get a terrible firm. U-Pack is in fact the *same firm * as ABF, a sizable business cargo company. They’ve hired friendly, capable support team, so that I thought I had been coping with a residential moving business.
But once I called to schedule delivery of my Cube, I had been moved into the Warehouse Dispatcher, that desired the code in my Bill of Lading!

I was subsequently awarded a *9-hour* delivery window (8am-5pm) and advised I needed to be current for the whole moment. They did not appear. At 5pm, the motorist phoned me and asked me exactly what time it had been. Then he said that he’d be there in about one hour.
He also called an hour later to state that he was local, but he had been still driving a 50-foot tractor trailer that wouldn’t match my narrow road. This has occurred to the driver earlier. His Dispatcher subsequently told him that he needed to leave, since he could not be late coming into the warehouse.
Several phone calls after, ABF said that they *just * have big tractor trailers and couldn’t send to my road.

Though they signed up a contract list my address as the destination address, they refused to honor their contract. They refused to organize to send my merchandise in a more compact truck. I needed to rent a truck, then drive 45 miles into their warehouse, then unload the block at the warehouse, and pack the toilet, and then drive home and unload again. After a few long telephone calls, I managed to make them refund a part of my shifting price.

I needed to move two times, not after.

    Great Move and Service

Employed U-Pack to move in CA to Hawaii. They were aggressive for the number of things that we were going along with the price quoted was exactly what we paid, therefore there were not any cost surprises. POD came after scheduled, picked-up punctually, and came at destination as scheduled. Packed items our-self and it came without a damaged products. Liked that we place our very own padlock in the container so that I did not need to think about anybody else getting. Since the POD could not be delivered right to our house in Hawaii, it had been held in the cargo company centre. We weren’t likely to arrive in Hawaii as soon as the POD came, known as U-Pack plus they gave us a couple additional times to float the POD, no extra price for storage. Text messages with hyperlinks alerting me to problems, status of shipping were excellent. One question I had was constantly replied. Never had any difficulty when calling U-Pack. They’re always professional and responsive. I’d certainly use them again and recommend them to friends.

I contacted 4 distinct firms about moving. I had been pleasantly surprised by the cost for U- package – almost half of the price of a similar firm. Even though Budget and U- haul have been more economical, it did not include gasoline, hotel, food, etc. . 1300 mile driveway. Just figuring gas expenses, it had been roughly the same as U- pack. Both facilities I dealt with were great.

We utilized U-Pack Relocube providers in Orlando Florida. Due to our short drive, the more compact Cube size was ideal for our scenario. We transferred into the Atlanta region and had our own cubes saved for per month. Everything moved smoothly without a hiccup. We had been impressed with the professionalism of everybody on the U-Pack team. We had no flaws, no harm, no phobias at all. We could not have been pleased with our expertise!

    Never again

This wasn’t my first movement with UPack, however, it had been the worst. The shifting packers are subcontracted outside and you just take your chances. Regrettably the subcontractor, Day and Night Movers from Jacksonville, FL proved particularly inexperienced as well as stunt and outright lied in their period and was able to utilize 6 linear feet over the specific same movement I created 2-1/2 years before using UPack. A number of items of furniture have been broken, or stained. See images of a harm. I supplied blankets, plastic covers (that they neglected to utilize on sofa ) and tie-down ropes, which they also did not use. I’m still unpacking and that I really don’t know whether any items were discharged from the”State at shipping” region below. I don’t have any issues using ABF, the transportation van business, but should you employ them, employ moving labour locally rather than using this support. The price below is for UPack just, and doesn’t incorporate the van.

    So good!!

I was super happy with UPack! I didn’t need to be there for pickup and drop off in the new site. I must load the trailer myself so that I knew my things was secure and packaged how I enjoy it. They remained within all of the time frames that they gave me. Customer Support was always very pleasant and ready to answer all of my questions. All I had to worry about was me and the children driving my own car! We proceeded to Indy having a bunch of individuals leaving at various occasions and that I highly recommended UPACK to everybody!!

If I could give "0" stars....

Worst experience ever! Wait period to get our truck to be delivered has been two hours over quote time….which is great once you’re waiting around in a vacant property. Customer support didn’t appear worried about all the inconvenience that it caused or the harm to our possessions. U-pack trucks aren’t air-ride outfitted so unless the movers (or you) fasten the things and use straps, blankets, etc, anticipate harm. U-pack reserved the”specialist” movers for me and they did a terrible job. I wouldn’t suggest this service to anybody unless you’d love to wind up with a truckload of damaged products. Overpriced for what you buy. Spend the extra money for actual movers, using an actual moving truck.

    Great Customer Service

Wonderful Expertise!! I have looked at several moving companies and I didn’t need to cover thousannddsss of bucks!

    Moved from NC to TX

Additionally assessed multiple package it yourself firm just like zippy shell, even uhaul includes a UBOX that’s quite much like this relocube for ABF’s Upack, though uhauls u box has been more economical then ABF by only 200$, I prefered abf’s based on the testimonials. The relocube is modest, after additional study I discovered out they also have a trailer that they will fall off just like the block, but with more room, you simply pay for what you use that is a great deal more conveint then the block cause you receive a whoollleee trailer and you’re going to find a quote on particular number of feet and should you use less then your quotation you receive some cash back but if you wind up employing more then they bill you a little per foot! Better then need to worry over wanted an excess block since we prob could have stuffed 1.5 cubes but might have ended up needing to cover to cubes that would have been more then the trailer!

Apart from this I have recieved excellent customer support via the discovered by Lupita Barraza (ft. Worth) along with also my drivers out of apex was quite punctual and expert andddd a fantastic driver needing to squeeze in etween to large cars simply to get the trailer at the place I wanted it. My driver from feet worth/arlington too incredible!

    Worst Moving Company I've Used

This is unquestionably the worst moving company I’ve ever used. I’ve used a number of different moving companies in years past because of moving a lot with the military. Everything appeared to be going great until I needed to phone to provide the last shipping address. I called the number in my email along with the man that replied was impolite and moved me to somebody else. When that somebody else picked up, he was also rude and inquired who moved me to him. Then he attempted to move me to somebody else, but I got him again. He tried two times and eventually on the next attempt, somebody else picked up and then transferred me to somebody else. Ultimately, after getting into the woman they had been hoping to move me to, said she could not take the speech and that I had to call the following number. I called that number and got exactly the exact same woman that had only given me another amount. She gave me another amount, same thing occurred. I cursed and requested to talk with her boss and she wrapped up. I tried the new number she gave me again and the very first man I spoke to replied and said somebody at the appropriate amount was attempting to telephone me, which nobody ever did. I requested to talk with his manager and was told”I do not care, you are still going to need to cover,” said that he was at lunch at 2:30pm and then wrapped up. I logged on the site and there was another amount. I predicted that and got exactly the exact same woman that hung me up. I phoned back and this time I did not hit any of those menu choices and got somebody completely different. He really took my speech, gave me the exact price of just how much it is to get into the heart and then told me that they do not provide service to my new address. He advised me that I would need to rent a different moving truck, drive into the heart, unpack all of my household products on that moving truck, then drive to my speech, then unload all of it again. I had not been told this when I’d first placed the order to proceed, otherwise I’d have went with another moving company which would really deliver to my brand new property. Who in their right mind would need to unload a moving truck on a different moving truck, simply to unload again as soon as they get for their new residence? I won’t ever recommend this firm as a moving company plus I don’t have any clue how they’re still in business. At this time, I’ll be denying all obligations made for this organization and flying back into my previous place, unloading all of my things onto a moving truck and forcing all into my new residence, personally. Something I must have just done in the first location.

Be careful when moving to a small town

The sign up procedure was really excellent. Telephone brokers to program were great. I initially scheduled one truck then requested for yet another just in case. I had been delivered two along with the motorist put side by side in my drive. No complaints regarding narrow road.
I ordered movers with U package. Easy. They do not have accountability and we are attempting to spare me space so that my washer has been crushed. The trucks do not have springs to soften the strain. Many boxes smashed. I’m unsure of the degree of harm as my items are in storage but a lot of boxes weren’t in great form.
To get all of it in 1 truck we didn’t have space for your ramp. I requested the plumber and he said they will bring you one at the destination.
I’d movers scheduled to another day following the truck came. We found no ramp and that I called U package destination centre. I was told you would arrive at the next day however, the trucker not connected with ABF stated he had been the sole delivery for our remote location and that he wouldn’t deliver a ramp since he does not lift things. Sure enough the next day I had three movers without a ramp. Kept calling, guaranteed a ramp, eventually I had been advised no ramp was forthcoming. My movers couldn’t return the following day and worked so hard leaping up and down in the semi trailer. The heavy material was barbarous. Took twice as long with no ramp. Many things dropped like my TV. I don’t have any idea yet of this whole harm until I purchase my home and can shut.
Thus a warning. . .the truck ramp is big and takes up a great deal of open truck space you won’t have the ability to utilize but will cover. Do not attempt not to incorporate the ramp. We’d left ours together with the next trailer we did not use, but it didn’t permit the second destination centre any place to place you for delivery. Remote regions need them to utilize separate outfits that ABF can’t restrain.

Don’t Use U-Pack Moving. It had been the worst experience. They didn’t arrive when they said they’d making me lose an whole day. Then when they came the truck driver told me that there wasn’t a ramp for loading the trailer. They say they do supply one with each trailer but that clearly isn’t correct. Loading a four foot trailer with no ramp isn’t enjoyable. When I called to request a ramp I was really told they do not have any and I want to go find another location in town which has one for lease. Are you kidding me?!?! Another one was unavailable from the town I was in and therefore I needed to load the trailer with no ramp. In addition, the majority heads you’re suppose to set up aren’t easy to manage and really put in position like their directions say.

    Reasonable cost and no driving!

We picked U-Pack for our relocation after searching into truck leasing and full service movers. A total of 1800 for a complete trailer interstate transfer was decent in comparison to truck rental and considerably less costly compared to $10k quotes from total service movers. An extremely heavy responsibility ramp made trailer loading as simple as it might be (still a great deal of work!) . 1 suggestion – that the ramp was designed to be non invasive, therefore smaller casters become caught inside. Be well prepared with a few two’x8′ bits of plywood to put on the ramp for loading things with casters. Each delivery and pick up date has been met with no problems and coping with U-Pack customer support was a flawless experience. The drivers were useful. Having somebody pick up the telephone and instantly have the ability to answer questions or alter the schedule was fantastic! Everything arrived just as I’d packaged it.

    Successful move with U-Pack

My parents were downsizing and provided me some of the unnecessary furniture. Five feet of a trailer was cheaper for me than the usual relo block or a U-Haul rental truck, also it gave me flexibility to choose as much boxes and furniture because I wished to. The final price of the trailer, packaging supplies and airplane tickets back home for me and my teenaged son was significantly less than $1000. A complete service moving company needed $1600 for less furniture than that I really packed. The trailer was sent and picked up once they said it would on both the ends. The trailer has been dropped off at Virginia on a Wednesday, we filled Wednesday and Thursday and it had been picked up on Friday. It had been sent in Massachusetts five days later on Wednesday, we unloaded it daily, and it had been picked up the following moment. We had a desk which we did not load safely and that I was convinced it’d collapse and break. Much to my surprise, it had been delivered just as we loaded it. We’d no damaged products. I would strongly recommend UPack.

Smooth Move from Western Mass to Cali April 2016!

I transferred from Western Massachusetts into Laguna Beach, California last year April 2016. I’ve not ever used a Relo Container to maneuver before. Last time I moved was with ABF and leased 25′ to a truck. This was considerably more costly then a Relo Container for me that moment. I contrasted them to scatter Rat and POD’s. U-Pack had the best price and the many Service Facilities. The Reservation Process/People along with the Service Facilities at the ends of the transfer were both prompt and as promised. No”gotcha charges”. I had to utilize their storage facility an additional month and they just charge $105/mo! This was fine as in the event that you have some difficulty finding a place to stay or grab a hiccup on your moving plans you’ve got peace of mind. I sent a single 8′ Relo Cube. I sent a Queen bedroom Place with just two dressers and a night stand. Living Room set with 8′ couch, 6′ Loveseat, and big recliner seat. I also delivered a entertainment centre for a 55″ TV, coffee table, and 2 end tables and it all fit hardly! You need to program well! I wasn’t a single thing damaged or broken within my own move. I packaged nicely purchased a whole lot of moving pads, roll of shrink wrap, 2″ tape, and”ratcheting straps” (the interior of this Relo Cube allows you to ratchet your material into the walls) from Harbor Freight for cheap and filled that relo block so nothing could proceed! Finest way to”imagine” in case your material will probably turn it into a block will get the real inside dimensions in their site and mask off the area in your own terrace. Take some measurements of your furniture and see whether it is going to fit together! I’ll use them again (when I want to move again) because it had been nice to not need to be concerned about this component of the relo into Cali….all went slick smooth!

They overbooked and could not move me

This is the worst experience we’ve ever had with a business, and I have experienced some doozies before. Long story short, they allow me to know that they couldn’t meet my order halfway throughout the afternoon that they were to meet it.

    The long narrative:
I contracted two Relocubes for memorial day weekend, even moving from PA into WI. I did so well more than a month ahead of the date. I was thrilled that due to this vacation, I’d have from Friday on Tuesday morning to package the cubes, and they even told me that I did not need to be there once they chose it up on Tuesday. We could depart first thing that morning, I had a guaranteed delivery of June 2nd, and I’d just be with my things for a few days.
I predicted either Monday or Tuesday of the week to ask the time to anticipate the Relocube delivery on Friday. They stated between 11am and 2pm. This was ok, I only let my fiance signal to them while I moved to a final lunch together with my sister until I proceeded. I received a call around time stating they’d overbooked and hadn’t any relocubes left to the whole weekend.
I was flabbergasted and informed them that no, I couldn’t wait a second 5+ days to them. I had other deliveries coming to the afternoon I’d contracted them to send the cubes, also that I couldn’t just push off the transfer. I requested them to phone around and discover a few from different firms or some other shipment facilities in a days driving distance. I had been told they’d predicted all potential block places and they were now all in usage. And however, they could not just grab another firm’s cubes/pods.
They offered to provide me a preview for exactly the identical cost. But the one trailers that they had abandoned were 28 feet long, and I only laughed in my fortune… my flat has a very small parking lot, and also for it that you had to move up a mountain to a single-lane drive between 2 buildings. Regardless of was a trailer matching there back, and afterwards I had them look this up on Google Earth, they understood there wasn’t any way that could get the job done. Their answer? Give me a reduction, have me proceed hire a Uhaul, fill my things, bring it on to their own channel, unpack the Uhaul and load on their preview, then move as normal. Thus, wait, the weekend I’d already planned about your guaranteed delivery date, the weekend I had been planning to visit family members and friends for the last time until I moved halfway across the nation, along with also the weekend of a vacation where numerous companies were likely to be closed and inaccessible for this huge rescheduling job, you need me to rather do an extra load-in/unload and contract much more function… and I needed to do this all over the next five hours since you’re not available on weekends or vacations?
I tried requesting a supervisor. The supervisor didn’t call me as requested. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes earlier I phoned and requested again. Eventually the supervisor called me back and basically stated I had been out of luck. They might get 1 Relocube to me on Tuesday, but that I wasn’t convinced all of my stuff will fit on a single block, and we’d already proposed a journey itinerary based round departing quite early Tuesday morning. All she would say was that she was so sorry she had been found at Alabama and had no way to even personally out me.
I ended up having to cancel my whole order and frantically schedule Uhaul boxes, since they had been the only firm available last minute and about the vacation. Naturally, they have been not too happy at last-minute aims, and also becoming the planner that I’m, I hated looking like THAT individual. Moving is stressful enough, yet this firm’s mistake destroyed my full final weekend at PA and my own move.

    Very Dispelased

My mom and my boyrfiend all guaranteed out things was, bubble wrapped, cushioned and protected before our movement,
We transferred or whole life round the countries
When we moved to pick our stuff up, so much has been ruined it was unreal. I buy things are rough driving round the countries, but nonetheless, it actually seemed like a train wreck.
Our tables, seats were ruined, boxes which were wrapped were severed, there had been cd’s around the area (which were fastened in luggage.
Virtually everything was scraped, our vest was fully broken, frames which were wrapped were broken. It appears that someone reluctantly drove. I mean we packaged with a uhaul to the maximal and moved much and nothing altered (same manner it had been packaged from the upack and I think uhauls are dreadful )
We needed to cover close to 500 bucks to replace our damaged merchandise and invested 2300 to transfer it…
As soon as I requested for a promise to replace our damaged products they refused us since they didnt”contact” some of it
Of course, not quite impressed awarded 2300 bucks was granted and we couldnt even get 400 of it back.
Never will I use this provider again, time, we’re now bankrupt, in a fresh nation and they couldnt have cared less.
I suppose when you need to go far, I would not suggest it.

    Upack

Enjoy an excellent experience with Upack. Very professional firm. Everything came on time and in tact. Would recommend to other people. I was very frightened at first although the guy who delivered my own block put me at ease. I even had a extremely costly mirror I was convinced would be busted. The mirror wasn’t broken or even scratched! The source service centre in KCMO was quite professional and answered all of my queries. The destination centre in Nevada was excellent too

Schedule 2 days in advance and they do not pick up

This is my second encounter together and will be the absolute opposite of my earliest. STAY away. Fall from block was ideal, overdue but ideal. The state of block was great. According to Monday at 9am to get a Tues pickup, was advised pickup is involving 4-8pm. In 8:30PM Tue No telephone, and if you called the terminal, then nobody replied. HMMMM.

On Wed, I’d predicted, to learn what happened and has been informed a Machine Broke, I figure it was the considerate machine or the java maker for the 1 calling in the Patterson NJ office had been less then apologetic and behaved as though it had been our fault. I’d proposed this so that if the huge trucks came in on Wed they’d be out of their way. In the event you Schedule it’s simply a hint. MAKE NOTE scheduling Is Just a SUGGESTION. I might have gone with 8 00 PACK Rat that is a larger block for less but might include a 48 hr window of pick up and could have been more affordable…. And I had the same 48 hr window , I figure I had been ripped away. Sad that they have one point of failure that the machine which lifts and lots of pods, maybe not a fantastic business model. When they tell you it’s a 30 day usage, two to three times will be consumed with scheduling or absence of accurate scheduling. Strategy for this too, in case you employ them.

    Great to deal with

I initially was considering obtaining a POD or some uhaul. I stumbled upon Upack once I googled movers. I am quite happy I did and grateful for the favorable reviews that directed me to them. They’re easy to use and made the process really easy. They are also a very cost cheap option when compared with others. I phoned a rep and explained that we had been going 800 kilometers and had a 5 bedroom home to proceed. After describing my situation he clarified the way the truck can be dropped off in my home and left there for so long as I had to package. (such as a POD, however, an whole truck). I called them once I was finished loading and that they took it into my new destination. When there was a gap from the final dates in our previous home and new home, I wanted the truck to become temporarily kept in my new place before bringing to my property. They saved it a week to get me that was all included in my cost quote and sent the truck when required. After unloading I contacted them again and they came and picked the truck up. These men make the procedure EASY. They’re so friendly and they’re extremely inexpensive. Incidentally should you look at a few other businesses, be sure to compare the measurements of the trucks. The UPack truck is much larger as explained in their site and provides you a lot additional cubic feet of room for the specific same footage of truck area. IE. A 26 foot vehicle isn’t equivalent to a 26 foot vehicle in other businesses. You’ll be happy you used these men. I hadn’t ever heard of these before this movement, but would happily use them again.

    U Pack

My wife and I recently moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Nashville, Tennessee. We had not moved in more than 30 years so it is possible to imagine the number of things we’d gathered over compared to the time.

We assessed pricing of specialist moving businesses, U Pack, and also the u-drive truck leasing businesses. ABF U Pack has been the very best value on the market for our situation. We had been ablate package, load and unload the trailer by ourselves but did not enjoy the notion of driving a large vehicle filled with furniture and possessions long distance.

Everybody we had contact with at ABF U Pack has been educated, friendly, helpful and considerate. Including the motorists at source and destination support centres.

I’d utilize U Pack again and would highly recommend them to anybody considering a transfer, be it long or short distance. The only way I might have made my transfer better could have been to utilize U Pack folks to help load and unload the trailer.

Very poor customer service!!!! They are like lying Ted Cruz!

We do not even know where to start with these individuals. So much happened together that we can go on and on. They are extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and have zero customer service skills! Everything with these folks is great until you’re loaded from the trailer and ready to go. It is downhill from there. They’ll treat you badly, lie, and also throw a few clever #$% remarks in there. We’re so disappointed in such folks and won’t ever use them again. I strongly suggest finding another corporation. Though ABF will charge less because of packaging it yourself, it’s indeed NOT WORTH IT!! This corporation is only going to add stress and headaches. RUN from this firm!

    UPACK rocks!

Just moved from Chicago, IL to Toronto, ON a week.

As you can imagine, moving furniture and other household products throughout the border to another nation was the most stressful part of the move. . Until I discovered UPACK!

Loved the pay-for-what-you-use characteristic of the service. Additionally, all of the service professionals that I talked to over telephone quite extra considerate and helpful during the process – of organizing delivery, pickup, custom types etc..

Oh, did I mention, the costs provided by UPACK are THE best you can find anywhere.

Overall, would absolutely use this service again, the second time I proceed, and highly recommend them!

    You Can Trust UPack!

I strongly advise using UPack! I have done a lot of internet study and UPack not merely needed the best rates however really is a business that you can trust with your relocation. In the quoting process, confirming the reservation, scheduling the fall from these cubes, the motorist showing up on time for the fall off and also the choice up later in the week, anybody we called with questions had a fantastic attitude and was quite knowledgeable and pleasant. The touch with the driver bringing our cubes into our new place was amazing and most of all, everything arrived safely and in excellent condition. We transferred from Illinois to Florida and from doorstep to doorstep it took 9 days. If we ever move again, UPack will be receiving our organization.

    Customer Service A+

I strongly suggest U Pack – along with their solutions were exactly what we had to get a cross-country transfer with no last destination address. Then they delivered the container on-time, gave 3 times to package it, delivered a glimpse about scheduling a pickup, and then stored our container for a few months while we searched at an apartment.

The only real thing we ran into was that individuals had anticipated that a last shipping zip code before we found a flat. Since they operate with ABF that’s a colossal trucking and logistics firm, the container needed to go out of storage at the western suburbs of Boston ALL THE WAY TO NEW JERSEY for delivered into our Cambridge address. We found this the day until we’d organized child care, and also family and friends to help us proceed. The customer service people went over and beyond to ensure delivery occur for us on time. The truck driver that sent the container was even able to move the noodle round a vehicle illegally parked at our booked space. I can not thank U Bundle and ABF individuals enough for creating this movement effective. We would not go with anybody else to future movements.

    First Move Alone

When I needed to move from Texas to Tennessee suddenly, I had been extremely nervous and worried. I’ve moved frequently, but not without my family around to help me. U-Pack not only supplied me the most inexpensive price (even in comparison to leasing a truck and driving itself – something I didn’t need to do), but they also were the very friendly and service focused firm I’ve worked with in quite a while. The first call asking about doorway to terminal transit was useful rather than”sales-y”. Every status update telephone was favorable. The guy who sent my trailer went far above and beyond to ensure that I was good to go. I’m a little woman and couldn’t obtain the divider doorway up in my own (wanted it still open after my buddies had abandoned ). My driver happily installed the divider for me personally. I can’t brag on the motorist enough!!!! He’s remarkable. I just wish I could recall his name. Then the folks in the terminal place I chose up my stuff out of were friendly and helpful also. The folks working for U-Pack put the company apart from all others. I’ve even used UBox previously and their costumer support is why I shopped elsewhere this around. Pack is going to be my companion of pick from here on out. And I proceed frequently as a school coach.

I seldom give ANY poll a 10 score (being the BEST) however I must say I really do give U-Pack a favorable 10 to get a superb job well done. Every call I left or with in person contact with all the drivers, they were all second to none. In the very first representative that I talked to the motorists who delivered to my residence and destination that the pods were quite professional and attentive to my worries. I’d not have a problem advocating U-Pack to relatives, friends and even strangers. 1 person that actually shined over all was Vanessa, she was much better than the usual 10. She had been an outstanding representative of your business, quite professional, honest in recognizing my worries and quite pleasant to speak to. PLEASE recognize Vanessa and each of those folks I’ve come into contact with. Vanessa in addition to the others are exactly what makes a business successful and it had been my pleasure and fantastic expertise to use the help of U-Pack. Blown away by excellent service!

My spouse and I had been planning a transfer in Vancouver, BC to Irvine, CA. Not only were individuals moving away 3 states but it was also international. We all had ever performed such a huge move so that we were pretty newbees at this. We scoured the web for reviews and tips. We have numerous quotations from different businesses. However, it looked like every business we looked at it had been gonna become a nightmare. The testimonials for the more well known firms were dreadful, as though they just didn’t care in any respect. Along with the pricing to another big names of cubes have been mad high. And we were initially searching for pickup from my parents home in Washington state, since the price leap for carrying our material over the boundary has been unreasonably large. We had been likely to create smaller trips to my parents set, thus we can then proceed everything out of there and save approximately $1000. I came across testimonials on this site really for UPack and has been amazed by the generally excellent reviews. We have a quote on the internet and it was really affordable. I then read a particular review of somebody who had transferred out of Vancouver to San Francisco and decided to just see how far it’d be more for this to depart straight out of our flat. It had been less than $100 longer!!! And was roughly half of what a major name block mover lent us to proceed from Washington!! We could not believe it! Whoever else was charging a lot more simply to cross the boundary. I phoned UPack that the following day and obtained an specific quotation and booked it on the place. They delivered me quite helpful mails, constantly notifying me of dates for significant paperwork. The ABF division in Surrey, BC that people worked with was really friendly and helpful. Pat in the workplace has been very helpful in answering all of my countless queries. The motorist who dropped from the block was very friendly and useful. We did not need to be there for this to be picked up that was fine. Then the block actually conquer us to Irvine. The block was picked up on Friday January 23rd, also I received a call it had came on Thursday January 28th! We were concerned we’d need to wait but it had been the cheapest fit time! The motorist who fell of the block was quite friendly and individual as we were still signing some transferring papers when he came. We just noticed one thing ruined, a tile onto a small table we’d but that was more our fault because we did not really care when it got ruined so we did not place anything on top of it to cushion. We compensated precisely what has been quoted also. I’d certainly advocate UPack for any intimidating movement or even simple move. They’re a class act in a place where I feel a whole lot of organizations do not care since they’re well known. Likely some of the greatest support from any company I’ve ever received.

What an remarkable experience! Allow me to say. . .every man I came in touch with was unbelievable. Very personable and ready to assist. In the drivers into the men in shipment.

We had a couple of things which were a bit dinged up but this resulted from our packaging. Virtually everything we’ve been totally fine. We simply got lazy at the conclusion of packaging and a few of those products were not packed as closely. Our fault entirely but even so, there was not anything which has been majorly damaged whatsoever.

I’ll work with them again and will recommend them to everybody that I know.

This has been a wonderful experience and created OUR move fairly painless. Thank you for all!

Frankly I had been impressed by U-Pack from begin to finish. Upack Moving Company

We utilized U-Pack Moving to our latest transfer from Connecticut to Arizona and it was EXCELLENT!!! What they promoted, exactly what we anticipated and were searching for! We’d already packed all our belongings and set them in a storage device, therefore we then transferred everything from the storage device to the trailer that they delivered into the storage center. It is necessary that all boxes have been packaged nicely, and exceptionally important that all packed with the trailer is packaged closely (to avoid shifting during transit) and controlled with ropes and ratchet straps. We filled all carefully and had exceptional results!

U-pack provided exceptional communication whatsoever times through mails, text messages and telephone calls on the two ends. The trailer came when expected in Connecticut and at Arizona, Also. Took about 10 times to reach Arizona, that was precisely what they anticipated. This was an incredibly economical movement for us and really cost less than anticipated since we packed everything closely that we utilized considerably less trailer distance than anticipated!

I would strongly recommend them to anybody ready to do the packaging, attentive loading, and unloading themselves. We had an excellent experience with U-Pack moving!!!!

I was amazed by U-Pack’s excellent support. I managed to achieve customer support any opportunity to correct my transfer date and even needing to bring yet another cube was quite straightforward. I was anxious when I started my study into moving businesses, Pods, moving trucks however I’m quite pleased that I contacted U-Pack. To discover that U-Pack could transfer all my things at such a reasonable price, took a great deal of stress from me and my loved ones.

The Service Center at Seattle worked together with my program nicely. Fantastic customer support. The individual that fell off and picked my blocks up was amazing! He made certain that the cubes were at the ideal place and even spoke to flat direction as I wasn’t home to describe situation.

The Service Center at San Diego also had excellent customer services. They worked together with my program to be sure we prepared to find the cubes delivered and picked up. The individual who dropped the cubes off did outstanding job in putting the cubes in drive in order that they may be readily obtained. He also had good character and made sure that everything was excellent.

Great service and a great experience

U Pack turned into the nightmare of going into a breeze. The customer service department has been excellent in answering any and all questions and describing the procedure. The cubes came punctually delivered with the many friendly and accommodating driver.
We had the cubes packed with a moving business. The cubes had been picked up from precisely the exact same driver who took good care in loading them onto the flat bed. They arrived at our destination and have been sent by yet another friendly and accommodating driver that also took good care in unloading them by the truck. We’d movers, pre organized by U Package to unload. I was astonished when the doors were opened that the contents seemed exactly the same as they did if they had been packaged. Nothing had changed. Everything arrived in excellent form. We couldn’t be more pleased with the full procedure. I would strongly suggest U Pack to anybody and would definitely use them again when necessary.

    Best Value By Far

I have proceeded with U-Pack twice, both times terminal-to-terminal over 1,000 milesper hour When I had to hire local movers to help load and off-load the trailers, these motions cost me 20%-30% less than that which full-service movers needed to bill. As significantly: U-Pack will get your belongings into your destination faster and with less harm than many full-service movers since they will not be altering your belonging from trailer to trailer during the transfer.

The terminal and drivers employees have always been responsive and friendly. The pricing is quite straightforward. In general, U-Pack has produced a stressful and costly procedure for moving slightly more tolerable.

Nice to find an honest company to work with!

After hearing horror stories about moving companies, It turned out to be a massive relief to operate with UPACK ABF. They have been so helpful with particulars. When we had to alter delivery/ loading information, it had been no problem in any respect. Loading site staff left their exterior lights to allow us to complete loading. Call obtained when came in Oakland ABF, also when I chose to have sent to home, again, it wasn’t a issue and a minimal volume. Delivery driver was fantastic also, Super considerate, adapting on fall off website etc.. I started container and everything appears exactly as it had been when we place our lock on door. I must mention that this was undoubtedly the simplest movement we have ever made. It absolutely has to do with all the people who work with this business. The genuinely wish to assist and provide a superior customer service experience. Fantastic experience. Customer support representatives were courteous, responsive, and eager to answer all of my questions. The process is extremely straightforward. They fall the container off. You’ve got 3 days to fulfill it. You phone these to pick up the container. After that you can telephone the destination dispatcher to learn if it’s anticipated (in reality, the destination dispatcher called me to program delivery to my precise place ). The container was first in the destination at 3 times – well beforehand of this 5 day lead time that they informed me. I simply hired any moving help in the destination and has been completed. UPack moving

Absolutely exceptional from begin to finish. This may appear like an inside inspection, it isn’t. In an era of overseas and poor customer assistance, from the first contact to this trailer pickup UPack was perfect. The quotes and talks were dead on. Wonderful hints, times and dates were stuck to, the telephone system was efficient and simple, the brokers from MN and FL were educated and friendly, so I can go on and on. However, the transfer:
I had been unsure of this distance I had by a factor of two. I contemplated a Penske/Budget 16, 24 and 28 foot truck. We had been moving in MN to FL, 1700 kilometers and needed a truck/boat for to FL also. Following the alternatives, two or three times of forcing a 24 foot truck along with my spouse driving our truck/boat and probably using too much or too small distance, the UPack choice of usage what we want rather than drive individually was and effortless option.

There were a few date complications which the MN representative was quite accommodating together and we’ve got the truck Fri PM. It had been both pristine and also a technological marvel. Moving beams each 18 inches or so let for procuring the contents quite well. We had been loaded with Tues and they picked the trailer up just as requested. Online tracked revealed the truck at Orlando by Sat. We ordered for a Monday delivery on Fri along with the truck had been there on program. The Orlando workplace (accessible with a single telephone choice along with a real man responded (Alan who was likewise great)! Had our data in moments, a period seconds afterwards and did exactly what they said they’d do. Exactly the exact same for trailer pickup. After 8 or 10 army moves, had this been about then I’d have hired UPack to get all of those moves.

1 final thing, about self package. More padding is greater, it’s tough to pack greater up, bonded objects with rope or twine to reduce motion. As they state, the more better. We had some self induced abraded bits as a result of inadequate restriction on movement that might have been rectified using a few rope! Oh, the price: approximately 5000 pounds transferred 1700 kilometers we employed about 21 ft and it had been approximately 3000$

    Surprisingly Excellent Experience

In the motorist who fell the trailer precisely where we needed it, to the motorist who picked it up and cheerfully accommodated us from backing up the trailer to right facing our flat so that we load our beds from the rain, into the rapid shipping and professional demeanor of everyone we worked with in U-Pack and Old Dominion, our move couldn’t have gone any better. There were a few things broken because of our less-than perfect packaging, however the load was in surprisingly good shape in general.

The cost was the top of any alternative ($2700 to get 10 feet of trailer space) along with also the safest too, because we did not need to tow our car 2300 miles.

If we ever move long distance again, I will certainly utilize U-Pack. Have already suggested to friends. There is no additional long-haul move alternative that actually comes close to be secure and inexpensive. The professionalism of the organization and its representatives is just a wonderful bonus.

This was my second time with U-pack also it was a fantastic experience. The block was delivered in time in California, the driver was really friendly and nice. My block got into its destination quite rapidly given I was moving out of the South West to the North East. I used this business to move from North Carolina to Michigan. The items at the block were intact however the motorist that dropped off the block ran to the garage and drove across the yard. Damage has been done to both the garage and yard. The driver was very nice and registered a claim for me. I had been assured by the company that I’d be paid for the harm. I expected more from Upack...

Truck had been quoted to emerge everywhere from 2-6pm. Hired movers to aid at 5pm. Truck has been a no show at 6pm. Told it was departing the terminal now, expect in 30 min. No truck in 7pm. Told there has been a mess on the interstatehighway, truck ought to be leaving today, anticipate in 30-45min. Thought you said that it was departing the terminal one hour back? 8,9,10pm go and come. I ship the movers house and shed on a few hundred dollars. I talk with probably 15 unique folks on the telephone, many tell me that its not there division or the folks I should talk with visit home at 5pm. Hung up on two and lectured by a single individual about knowing better than to employ movers daily of rather than the following day, its at the contract thus its about me. What? No it is not, is that the way you speak to clients? 11pm truck occurs, only 9-5 hours late. Discussing with the motorist he informs me he wasn’t backed up by visitors that he needed to go pick up my trailer out of the opposing side of the town at a different home, return into the terminal and find a ramp then visit my home. So my truck wasn’t in the terminal nor was it departing at any stage. It needed to be chosen from somebody else’s home on the previous run of the afternoon. He said that they do so all of the time for people. Head is blown off with all the information obtained.

Spoke with manager in the early hours, she stated she had been sorry I was miserable but they specialized fulfilled the contract from obtaining the truck into my home before midnight. Feeling like me going into some restaurant and ordering a hamburger and they also bring out a chard hockey puck and inform me,”well its technically a hamburger and thats exactly what you purchased.” No remorse no answer no supply to rectify this circumstance. All I receive is her stating”what exactly do you need me to perform.” I asked for cash off my 4000 invoice…$300. Nope, they generally only do 50 off, oh boy, thats not good enough. I inform her that they may shed tens of thousands without becoming me as a client again and anybody I inform and any inspection I post online about not using their own services. She does not care, said she will do $100 away and no longer, Im done with all the dialogue and the firm, I’ve got a truck to package.

    Illinois to DC

Therefore, like many others here, I typically do not write testimonials. The main reason why I chose to share my own story is because I hadn’t ever undergone a large movement. I moved from Illinois into DC and along with home pressure, new job, etc, I also had to cope with getting my items here. When the time came to deliver my items over, my first move was to look at moving businesses. My new job paid up to a certain degree and that I had been convinced I would come across a reasonable cost. I just had 18 mild boxes, a double sized mattress, a desk, and a little office seat. I got estimates from moving companies and has been unpleasantly surprised. I got quotes ranging from $3400 to $1200. I had been cautious of the cheapest cost because that was only an estimate. The true cost wasn’t to be ascertained until the final weigh in. I was reluctant about that, so I looked to u-pack. The main reason why I had wanted a moving business was because I didn’t need my parents to go through the problem of loading my boxes to the truck. But, I got a quotation from u-pack and that I knew I’d just be paying for the distance I had used. I talked with my parents and we both decided that it could be the most suitable choice. I phoned u-pack and ordered for them to fall off a trailer. When they sent the trailer, they have been considerate and informative in describing the procedure for my own dad. I received my items delivered into a terminal and the procedure was a really eloquent one. What was most important to me personally was timeliness and that it was a low-stress procedure. I had been coping with the home situation and proceeding, therefore working together with u-pack didn’t give me many concerns. I’d certainly recommend them and I know I’ll use them for the next movement.

    Long-distance move from Georgia
    Easy, Easy, Easy

This was my very first long distance transfer and that which was stressing me out, such as moving businesses. I discovered about U-Pack at a Google search and the procedure was really Simple! They left this portion of my movement completely stress free. I had been going by myself and did not wish to be concerned about forcing an annoying U-HAUL and towing my car 800 milesper hour I got into the terminal from GA on a Thursday, they attracted my relocube around, we chose too much time as we had to package this up afterward told them I had been done. I got to Texas, they phoned me on that Tuesday as it was prepared, and I moved along with unloaded the box and that was it! My possessions were somewhat dusty when I picked them up, unsure how they got that way, but I am very grateful they left this portion of my movement as simple as they did. I’d certainly recommend them to anybody doing a long distance transfer!

I don't normally write review, but I had to

I do not normally write critique, but I had to with this one. Fantastic support.

The price tag, it was $500 cheaper than the competition, but they had yet another alternative called terminal to terminal alternative. I had to send my things to terminal, and this was not far from my home, and that I saved about an additional $600. Complete, I just paid $1500 as well as other rival desired $2800.

Secondly, their support was excellent also. They shipped multiple reminder about a few essential form. They were always keen to help out. I had been given clear directions through emails and via telephone.   Even $1500 was a lot of money for me personally, so that they were willing to divide that invoice into Two card via ABF service.   My belonging came couple of days eariler than me, also U-Pack and ABF were eager to hold additional days for me personally.
If I must point out bad things about it the delievery is subsequently their relocube was very filthy, so a few of my furniture had been abandoned with blot. I might have prevented if I had been a little more cautious with it and put out a few furniture blanket or something.
I would recommend this place for everybody and people of you would like to save a little cash.

    U-Pack

I had difficulty getting other movers and consolidators to use my program.   I predicted U-Pack last minute and they organized to ahve a container daily.   The driver spoke to me a few times becasuse I rather than there for shipping of the container to make sure I know where he’d put it.   The container arrived as agreed, the costs was fair and everybody else at ABF was a joy to use and very responsive all the time.   I would highly recommend them later on.

    Wonderful moving experience!

U-Pack was a fantastic solution for us. The idea of us loading the truck ourselves, the cost, the flexibility of time & distance, along with the unbelievable customer support in any way phases and places was wonderful.  Every person we talked with on the telephone or when falling off/picking the truck up was pleasant and beneficial.
We loved having the ability to monitor online the positioning of this truck directly from the pickup time before it came.
We had been transferring treasured items in my 90 year old parents’ home that the household was breaking up after 65 decades. We did not understand how much distance we had to send these things from San Diego into Ohio.  Packing & loading the truck ourselves and the flexibility of distance & time helped with the total strain of the job of breaking apart a house of  several memories we all adored and cherished.
U-Pack became a part of our unforgettable family experience.  No other firm can conquer your fabulous general service and fantastic pricing.  A large thank you for U-Pack out of our loved ones!

    Absolute GREAT experience !!

I only returned from helping my daughter go across state from AZ-MA. I utilized U-PACK’S door to door service in addition to the guaranteed delivery option. The communicating with the firm, their upgrading of my advice about the transfer, the timeliness of the delivery and pickup of their container equally in Tucson and Boston were impeccable!! I could also add that they had been the cheapest option when compared to other moving businesses. ! We packaged the 8 ft container tight therefore there wasn’t any move inside and everything arrived in excellent condition. If I ever have to generate a go again, I shall definitiely use this organization. I recommend 100 percent and then some!

Easy Move, Great Service, Awesome People

My telephone salesman explained everything in detail and answered all of my queries in a friendly, convenient way. No strain. No sales gimmicks. My fall off motorist was friendly and helpful, explained everything from the contract also gave me useful suggestions on packing the vehicle to guard my things. Again, with no pressure, just friendly and beneficial. It had been great to have the ability to monitor the truck on the internet to determine where it had been every evening. The truck came earlier than I expected which was a bonus. After multiplying, a fast call to the pickup place was all it took and the truck had been picked up in hours.
To sum it up: Friendly, helpful, worry free, no stress, no gimmicks, reasonable pricing, fast. If you’re thinking about Pods or even PackRat, please be aware that U-Pack is your thing to do.

    Great moving option

Great moving alternative.   Pickup and shipping terminals contacted me in plenty of time to program.   Trailer has been dropped/picked upward in timeframe promised.   Delivery terminal indicated unloaders and proposed local businesses (we used one that made the process fast and stressfree).   We had to keep our possessions for a few weeks inbetween houses – good to render it on the trailer in a comparatively low Price.   Wish that they provided/rented moving pads and dollies.

    Excellent Experience with U-Pack

After studying PODs along with other services we chose to go with U-Pack according to a buddy’s recommendation. We’re extremely glad we did since the whole experience was superb. As some other reviews have said, before reserving you have to be completely aware of the services they give. Furthermore, plan ahead so as to secure yourself if you can find delivery flaws etc (we didn’t have any flaws ). The motorists on the two ends were extremely friendly and helpful. Unlike another review there ARE locks which can fit into the holes on the bulkhead to secure your items. We got ours at Home Depot, and even though we had two just 1 match. However, that works for me and there wasn’t any denying or theft that I could determine. U-Pack saved our trailer for a complete couple while we were trying to find a home, and it had been at an affordable price without any problems encountered. Our stuff arrived in good condition considering I’d packaged it myself. I anticipated some harm since I am not an expert mover, and also we had some small dings, but nothing significant. Overall I was really satisfied with our expertise, would certainly use them again, and highly recommend them to other people. We even got billed significantly less than our initial quotation.

    Worst moving experience ever

I’ve moved Many times throughout my adult life – that is actually the very first time I used UPack.   I Won’t Ever use them again.   I have never made a movement that was more botched.   I had been assured the truck could arrive in my new place in the latest by Friday – it did not arrive until the next Monday.   The Additional nights at hotels (since our beds were on the truck), the Excess restaurant dishes (because all our dishes and baskets were around the truck), I needed to buy work clothes to go to work that Monday, I needed to employ movers to empty the truck since I needed to return to work that Monday.   In all of my loses were 1000. Upack consented to provide me back a paltry $150.   Terrible business to utilize.   They were very fine when scheduling my movement, but if they failed to Meet with the program they’d promised – they became quite rude.   1 customer service rep even hung up on me, and once I finally got a supervisor on the telephone (5 days after ) – she provided no alternatives just a poor $150 back.   She acted as though I must be thankful since they don’t generally give back anything,”but given that the extenuating circumstances, she could make this exclusion.

Pathetic excuse for client support.   They do not keep commitments.   Do not use this business.

    Damage

When my things reached my new house in Florida they had been DESTROYED. I’ve got THOUSANDS of dollars in damages because of inept bad driving and UPack is accepting NO responsibility for the damages. They’re claiming it isn’t their fault. It’s apparent that the damages had been caused by motorists going over bumps and curbs at high levels of speed and slamming on their breaks. Upack is not able to reveal the driver logs as well as also the maintenance logs onto the trucks. They’re asserting that because they didn’t package the truck it isn’t their duty. Nicely hence the title UPack – that they will not be required to take responsibility for ANY damages. That is the WORST business and many reckless company I have EVER dealt with. Buyer beware when using this business – they don’t give a [EDIT] regarding what they’re hauling in their trucks, so they simply care about the cash in their pockets and pay up to their drivers.

    Understand How They Work

I will Begin with the fast and straight forward:
    1. I Suggest use of the business AS LONG AS You Realize THE Procedure
    2. While employing the trailer, no lock using a two inch shank is thin enough to fit through the hole to lock the bulkhead doors. NONE. I searched numerous shops, wasting my time and cash at a really stressful transferring time and found no one that worked. When I called the service centre about it, I had been told that this is famous and everybody that experiences this only renders the bulkhead doors unlocked. Given that I’d already loaded everything and was going to leave the nation, I’d no option but to do exactly the same. All of my items were so fine and nothing has been stolen or damaged.
    3. The workers are extremely nice, both of those with UPack and those who have ABF. I moved from Boston to NC. The drivers were friendly and great. The support centre folks I spoke to on the telephone were also quite friendly and nice.

Now, let me provide additional information for those interested.

What do I mean by see the procedure? ABF is a cargo business. The situation appears to be that they perform so moving private things with UPack across the medial side. In other words, when you’ve loaded your things, they utilize the remaining portion of the area for cargo until they provide the trailer for you. I enjoyed that I had the flexibility to load the trailer up and use yet much distance I had and wasn’t restricted like I’d have been when I wrongly underestimated the amount of pods/cubes I wanted. I used the quantity of space I anticipated, but I love that I might have used more when I discovered that I had to.

Following that, there are several complaints on this about the motorists being late. They were for me personally when sending the vacant trailer, I acknowledge. The fall off time was 11AM-4PM along with the truck came at ~6PM. I had been in Boston, however. Fantastic luck trying to acquire a semi through Boston. That’s hardly something that I think could be held contrary to the driver/company. In terms of why they can’t pin-point a moment? Well, they have cargo and will need to pick up and liquefy and so forth on the way to dropping off the trailer in your location. While most of us would like precise times, that’s simply not how the trucking company operates. I knew this going into it so I didn’t and don’t hold that against the business.

Let me take a little time to remark relating to the service in Boston. UPack has many places on their website that point out enormous city constraints with their services. Boston is one particular town. That area doesn’t allow trailers to be abandoned on the road. It is illegal to. So, I had been out of luck with this. My dad was able to induce long haul semi and so I asked him about whether or not he believed the motorist could back the trailer to my driveway. Since the Boston region is, the roads are miniature, the corners sharp, and also the trails narrow. I was quite worried and worried out about this. My dad kept telling me,”when the motorist is worth his salt, he won’t have an issue.” I’m relieved and happy to say that the driver did not even bat an eye. He supported that trailer in like the expert he is. My spouse was floored. He did it in no time and that he did not hit anything. I uploaded two photos I shot when he left it at the driveway. I spent months searching obsessively at semi trailers about Boston and that I can say that 99 percent of them are far more than the 28 feet trailers for ABF. You don’t require a lengthy drive to get them park it. Their site has all of the specs on the width and length of their trailers. You are able to measure you drive to ensure. Mine was 10 feet wide and just like 60 feet long. The period of my driveway wasn’t the matter. It had been the width and coming in by the narrow road that worried me. The driver did not have a issue, however. 10ft broad and a narrow road was nice for him. As my dad said, this is exactly what they do! They understand how to push these items!

Last, ABF delivered the trailer for me personally in my destination at the beginning of the time range and obtained it in the close of the day. I couldn’t have had better support afterward. And, as I said before, the motorist and the support centre employees were very friendly and pleasant to speak to. I did discover that some water trapped in at the front corners of the trailer. Happily, I’d ripped my mattresses and sofa. SO, the water has been around people and nothing else. If you pack at the front corners, then I recommend that you tote whatever is there only to be safe.

    Cross-country move

There were just two somewhat distinctive sections of the movement –one, many novels making to get a hefty load; and 2, a demand for a single month of storage.  Moving across the nation, also, I was quite happy that the worth of U-Pack, and we did not forfeit something concerning quality.  We spoke with customer support a fair amount of occasions, and obtained quick, well-informed answers.  Talking with the supervisors in the terminals, also, constantly went well, with quite courteous men and women.  We got a fantastic deal and have been treated quite well, whilst nothing was ruined.  It is tough to find honest moving businesses occasionally, however when U-Pack is a fantastic match for the kind of move, I would strongly suggest them.
We did employ movers on either side to help us load and unload.  In spite of that, I believe we spared 3,000-4,000 bucks in contrast using a full-time business (and naturally, many of these are not really trustworthy).

There’s absolutely not any such thing like a stress-free transfer.  If you wish to come near, provide ABF U-pack a telephone.  In my very first contact with their representatives within their Ft. If anybody is relocating, I suggest giving U-PACK a telephone. The entire U-PACK Team impressed me with the amount of support I received from beginning to finish. My move went off without a hitch. The ease of piling and ridding my own (well, borrowed) trailer and given 3 times on each ending was excellent. I booked 17 ft and was not certain exactly what I was planning to shoot, but if it was all said and done, I managed to just use 7 ft and saved myself on a grand. When and if I ever go again (not anytime soon, LOL), I will certainly utilize U-PACK and WILL suggest these services to anybody I understand that might be shifting. Perfect Solution for Cross Country Move

U-Pack from ABF provides a topnotch, worry-free support.
In my initial phone call asking a few fundamental questions, I felt just like we had been in great hands. Calls were answered fast by friendly and knowledgeable employees. I never felt as though I had been put on hold or having to wade through a lot of telephone prompts. Observing each call, I would obtain an auto-generated email confirming my purchase. This was really re-assuring because there were several last minute modifications to our transfer date and that I was able to readily correct the date / time of our first trailer drop-off with no penalties.
The trailer was dropped-off as scheduled. The motorist worked together for optimum placement to make it as simple as you can load the trailer.
In the subsequent days, we filled up our trailer with help from a local moving company. The U-Pack trailer was subsequently picked up on time by a different friendly and expert driver.
After we arrived at our destination and had ownership of our new residence, we predicted as educated. I had been given the newest information on the trailer place and anticipated ETA in our new town. I was amazed as it came to the local depot before schedule and that dispatch remind me to program delivery.
Included in scheduling delivery, I advised dispatch that the home was a distance from the road and was expecting that the trailer may be parked in the driveway close to the road. She did not think that it could be a issue, but also stated it is on the driver’s discretion.
On delivery day, the driver called to let me know when he anticipated to arrive. He had been there on time. After coming, he carefully researched our driveway prior to perfectly backing down the trailer a pinetree-lined curving drive to be near our new home. Possessing the trailer so close to the house significantly decrease the time that it could have taken to float the semi in case it was close to the road.
Once unloaded with help from local movers, then I ordered for pick-up. The trailer was immediately picked up while I was running errands.
Along with getting friendly and helpful staff during the whole procedure, U-Pack’s site and published paperwork is simple to use and comprehend. There were no hidden surprises or penalties. It was also reassuring to monitor our trailer on line.
While we originally thought the transit period appeared to be a very long time to not have our possessions, it went by really fast. While our possessions were being hauled, we had been traveling also in the comfort of one of our automobiles. After in our new town, we’re then occupied with the home closure and other things. It was a relief not having to be attempting to unpack a rental van with the rest of the chores that needed attending.
Overview: ABF U-Pack is a first class operation from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I was THRILLED for this entire experience. The Old Dominion Freight motorists were personable, friendly, and useful – and punctually! The dispatchers were similarly Useful and enlightening.   Along with the truck along with my items came well ahead of schedule. I could not be more satisfied.   THANK YOU, U-Pack! Bad service

I won’t ever use this  service  again. I received an email  telling  me truc  would  arrive  between   8:00 – 1200 noon that is  exactly what I  had been told   about the  telephone. When no truck or even a telephone from business I phoned and was told  it’d be  45 minutes  there wasn’t any ramp from the  truck. After one hour  I phoned again told a second hour the  motorist had a ways  to  go. The truck eventually arrived  2:50pm.   I had been driving  across  country  and’d preprepaid resorts that I couldn’t maintain s dropped my deposit. I’d calculated truck  gettng  there at noon   with two hours to package. As it was so late coukd not depart until  the  following day  that I called  customer  service  to complain  and also the girl who  answered  could care less and you  may hear it in her voice  from the tone along with her words. She say that the the 4 hourtime  framework is simply an estimate  which the truck  may arrive at anytime. I sent an email  to  the  man who offered me the  server  along with whoever delivered me  an email  about  how instant they are and also to schedule  a drop off. Nobody individual responded to my emailaddress. The truck  driver  said he was working  13 hours that he had  his typical routes  to  operate first. I had been no priority to anybody. After the  truck  has been dropped  off  there was dust so thick  on everything  and I am allergic  to dust.   Do not use them  particularly if  moving across  state.

Okay, but you need to have room for a truck for 3 FULL days or more

When you have space (drive, suburban road ) to park a trailer for 3 full business days, subsequently U-Pack is nice. The cost is fantastic, the shipping times are excellent. You must do a lot of organizing footwork yourself, however, it’s a fantastic price.  If, however, you don’t have ready space to park a preview for 3 full days (such as in an urban setting ), be very careful in picking out U-Pack. They *won’t * guarantee same-day pickup of your own trailer. They don’t operate on Saturdays or Sundays. Fridays will be the complete busiest days, exactly the same day pickup will soon be nearly impossible, and You’ll have to park the trailer for around 5 times – F, S, S, S, T, M.   If you can manage to organize for 3 complete days of trailer parking (and weekend in case a dropoff is a Friday), see below – that the service is nice and well-priced.   Bottom line: if you’re likely to utilize U-Pack, the”three business days” entity doesn’t mean”around 3 business days”. It usually means that you will have a preview to cope with for three complete days, at the least. If this works with your own locations, good. Everything else about the procedure was great for all of us. However, if it does not work to your place, you may think about a distinct mover.

    Worst Moving Experience

I am not one to generally post testimonials on firms was SO terrible I couldn’t not say anything. I moved from Tennessee to Colorado and then had to cover for 4 additional days at a hotel since it did not require”4-5 business days” to arrive. It required 9! They supply you with a tracking number and that I followed it regular. However, the fifth business day it had been in my brand new city but once I called to establish a time that they said they would not provide it for 3 more days! I am sorry but that simply isn’t acceptable. I have no additional cash to simply stay in resorts awaiting them to push 10 minutes to send a trailer. Fantastic experience with UPack

The experience of going with U-Pack far surpassed my expectations, as well as the neighborhood service centres operated by ABF were excellent too concerning communication and client services. My move was rather complicated regarding when items can arrive, how fast that the drop off & pick up of those pods necessary to occur, etc., and they were always able to answer all of my queries and allow me to figure out strategies to produce the details function. And SO much more affordable than a complete service move, even in the event that you employ people to load or unload the pods to get you (we loaded ourselves and hired individuals to unload).
1 tip to know about is that no moving equipment are included, which means you’ll have to acquire your very own moving blankets in case you have furniture that you would like to safeguard. It’s merely the nature of transferring that unprotected furniture may get scuffed in the shaking of the street and may also become wet. You want to either protect against that your self or pay twice as much for a complete service mover who’ll do it for you. Personally, I was pleased to take responsibility for shielding my possessions in exchange for not having to pay multiple additional!!
I’d certainly use UPack again (though ideally will not be moving again any time soon) and have already recommended them to other people.

    My stuff was destroyed

I moved cross country with Upack also it was a really terrible experience.

Primarily, they phoned me to inform me that no relocubes have been available in my place 2 days prior to my transfer. They upgraded into a preview, that sounds good at first before the logistics of parking it for days at a time can be considered.

They couldn’t adapt my move in date and so I was left with no items for a complete week.

After the trailer did arrive, my items have been broken up and scuffed. I called to complain but could not get a rep on the telephone once waiting for 40 seconds.

Steer clear of this support if you’re able to. They may be proficient in their demeanor however unprofessional at the standard of the solutions.

    Issue with rental supplies

I found this website in an internet search. I called to immediately establish a transfer date to buy my airline ticket (the flat I was going from has been situated at Arizona & I physically reside in Seattle, Wa.)  Along with the furnishings were being relocated to Texas. The practice of organizing the transfer went well except that I needed to call another firm to carry out the loading (I had assistance to load furniture and also a relative about the receiving end wanted help to unload.)
The movement block came punctually. The loaders from Moving Staffers came punctually & played nicely. I didn’t rent nor buy moving supplies out of U Bundle as there was no one in Arizona to get them in the email. The timing of this movement worked smoothly so I managed to get moving supplies & lease blankets out of U-Haul.
The block came in Texas sooner than anticipated, but I retained the arrival date collection. The Moving Staffers performed nicely on the receiving end. It was a whole lot to orchestrate this movement with a lot of distinct people involved on the two ends. This made the movement stressful enough.
Then, once the movement was finished, an unloader on the receiving end educated a member of my loved ones to set the blankets at the block as it could be picked up after that afternoon (however, as I said, I leased the blankets out of U-Haul.) On none of my paperwork did it signify that I had to return some supplies with the block.
I needed to contact this terminal from Texas to explore the matter and I had been advised I needed to pick up those things to return them to U-Haul (they were stored at the workplace .) My loved ones had no car to get them. Afterward , there was severe flooding in Houston, which further averted the rental yield. At the mean time, I am continuing to cover longer rental moment.
I phoned again & talked with a Mr Elfredo Thomas, who returned the blankets to U-Haul that late day. Mr Thomas is the sole reason why I gave an average score in my own review! Why did it take over a week to work out a problem among your employees generated? Prospective rentals will be finished in a 1 stop store at U-Haul to get a more pleasent experience.

    Cross country move

I discovered the usage of relocubes are the most economic alternative for my cross country move. I was very delighted with the customer support on all fronts. The one thing which I had patience to get was that the cubes have been scheduled to be picked up on a Friday, and were not picked up till Monday. Whenever you’re with no household things to start with, incorporating three additional days into the wait was not terrific. Additionally, the cubes came at my new place from Friday, but again weren’t delivered until Monday. Another wasted weekend value of time. BUT, Overall it was a really positive experience, and I highly suggest them. Thank you!

My trailer had a leak, an inch of water when it arrived

When my trailer had been dropped away, everything was nice, the motorist did a fast test (I.e already had his kind checked off and did not really check) and left it for me to package. The bulkhead doors latch was broken, so that I was not able to lock my things. Oh well I thought. When my merchandise arrived, it was raining across the nation, and there was a flow in the rear of the trailer. All of my large heavy furniture things obtained water damage, there was approximately 2 inches of status, moldy, rusty water covering my furniture. The normal insurance policy fee is $.10 each pound. Meaning a $1500 sofa that weighs 200 pounds frees you back $20. A $8000 Rolex would internet you possibly 20 cents? I didn’t shed a Rolex, but I did shed a good deal of furniture, in addition to expensive small lightweight products. I was never provided an extra insurance policy alternative. I’ll be letting my big company, which moves workers frequently, to not utilize this business going forward.

So happy with our cross country move

We are beyond thrilled with the support we received from ABF U-Pack. By the minute I called to get an initial estimate to this pickup of my empty block at my destination, ABF was so nimble, arranged and easy to achieve. Frankly – I kept waiting for something to go wrong since this cross-country move with ABF was really simple. Thank you so much for getting our things here safely and for rescuing my my sanity through a really hectic time.

    UPACK

We were incredibly delighted with UPack by the period of sign-up till they picked up the trailer in our new residence. Moving from Los Angeles to Minneapolis has been lots of work, but made much simpler by utilizing UPack.
Their customer support was excellent, they supplied more than enough transferring advice, and were consistently helpful and quick to answer our questions if we predicted.
The trailers were instantaneous and came on time for every scheduled fall off/pick up. The trailer has been the cheapest and very affordable option we discovered by far of those choices available for the distance. And having the ability to monitor our trailer en route wasn’t only useful, but only kind of pleasure!
We’d highly recommend them to anyone, particularly those seeking to move across the nation.

    Small move Louisiana to Texas

We utilized U-Pack to transfer my grandma’s things from Lafayette Louisiana into Texas. We kept having to push back the transfer date (by weeks ) and U-Pack retained using the first quotation. I paid for your two hour delivery window which worked great. The driver needed to find the truck down a fairly narrow driveway, above a culvert and involving large trees. He did a excellent job.  We were not quite ready for shipping from Texas and they kept that the dispatch for many days no cost. They informed me of delivery period and it all went smoothly. We just needed the five toes of distance. A whole lot will fit in there. We did not need to push a U-haul. This is by far the simplest and most affordable alternative I could discover. We utilized Bellhops movers to load up the vehicle in Lafayette which worked great.

    Not good at all

I had been moving out of Fl to NJ to get a new occupation.   I made it evident to them which I didn’t understand where I had been going to once I made to NJ.   I paid to get my things saved in NJ.   When I discovered a location and gave them the speech I had been told it could cost $400 to proceed to the trailer.   I had been in shock because I had no clue about some other penalties.   When I phoned I was informed I had been given a rest since it’d cost them over $800 to maneuver the preview 45 milesper hour I eventually got them down to $200.   When I have the trailer about 3 pm after more the time period You’re awarded is out of 8-8.   If you telephone you only get told shortly.   When I unpacked the trailer discovered it had leaked.   Had lots of boxes moist and now have many things destroyed.   Just like a coffe maker that was fresh, a kitchen aid mixer That I’ve had for 20 Decades.   A Excellent toaster and a coffee grinder.   Plus had Difficulty obtaining off the boxes the truck because they had been still wet.   Ruined many boxes Also.   Alond with cookbooks in my grandma that Can’t be replaced.   I will Complete the paper work and I am confident will Find the run around as though I’ve before.   They Don’t help you just take your cash.   Don’t use them again.   Paid them a good deal of cash and they didn’t care for me whatsoever.   Just want more cash and when something else goes wrong in case your error not the Provider.

    Liability and Storage

We’re Pleased with the cost worth.   They’re the most economical thing going by far especially for long distances.   I actually do have 2 words of advice. READ YOUR CONTRACT.   Especially the paragraph regarding liability.   The Normal Coverage just covers .10 percent for any damage due to neglect.   This is sometimes minimal particularly with a piece of any worth. You can update the policy in the Event of damage or utilize external coverage.   Also in the Event That You Intend to get them shop your things, rap anything that Isn’t water resistant in vinyl bags.   The containers are kept outdoors and should you just happen to receive one which isn’t air tight and it clogs the container can flow.

    U-Pack/Old Dominion review

This is what I wrote in the comments section into the poll U-Pack requested me to finish after my movement.   I’d additionally add that some of those issues might have been since it wasn’t with U-Pack’s real provider, ABF, because the zip code that I had been going to didn’t allow them to operate there.   Technically Old Dominion is not the same company and thus they can do things differently, however, I believe that some of this was advice of that I must happen to be made aware before the transfer.
While complete the movement with U-Pack went really easily there are a Couple of problems that arose.   They Wouldn’t dissuade me from utilizing U-Pack again, however, they’re matters of which I must happen to be made aware before my moving date.   On the telephone that I was told that Old Dominion could be Utilized as my carrier, however, if the contract came through it showed Estes and another transit time.   I really don’t believe a client Ought to Be told something about the telephone and then another item be put into a contract for them to register with no being discussed first, particularly since it only appeared to be for the simplicity of the Business, not the client.   Two, there needs to be greater communication between the provider and the client.   While irritating, I know that clients can not be informed about pick-up times also far in complex.   But when a client is called to inquire to perform a live load there needs to be follow up about the time that reside load will be so that adequate preparations can be created (hiring local moving help to load).   I gave the okay to get a live load and requested for the gentleman to follow up with me once he talked with his supervisor because just mentioned, however I needed to phone Old Dominion two weeks prior to my move and Discover out that they intended to select my possessions up at 7am.   When I told him that I hired help who was Unable to come before 9am, the Individual with whom I had been talking behaved like it was a dreadful inconvenience.   Again, needing things to be Simple for the business, not the client Who’s paying, attempting to organize Several Things, and shifting her whole life to a new state.   Three, There’s inconsistency between what’s advetised about the U-Pack site and shown from the movies and what really happens on the afternoon of the transfer.   Particularly, the use of a lock as well as the bulkhead.   I was Unable to use my own lock to secure my possessions as promoted, but Instead forced to utilize a plastic label provided by the Firm.   The bulkhead didn’t match across the Whole width of this vehicle, as shown in the movies, but Instead partly covered my things and there were no bars to fasten them in place, however tie-downs.   If somebody had actually wanted to, then they might have loosened the tie-downs and altered one of the bits of plywood to get access to my possessions all without breaking the plastic safety label.   Unfortunately these things Weren’t apparent before my possessions were packed into the trailer and that I didn’t believe that there was anything that I could do to fix the Circumstance.   I had been asked to have a large leap of faith that all my possessions would arrive.   The monitoring of this trailer proved to be hard.   I really don’t understand why the driver Couldn’t provide me a copy of the form I signed together with the tracking number on it.   Instead he explained to wait for an hour and call the company to get the number.   This provides an Excess step for the client who may Have to Do other things like complete cleaning a flat, return keys, or Start driving to her new home.   Also, if I did remember to phone it had been about the weekend and that I had been advised that they Couldn’t monitor the truck since the relevant section was closed on the weekend.   This is information Ought to Be accessible to overall customer service regardless of when a client calls, otherwise It’s a useless feature.   Further, this must be something which may be looked up through the net so a client doesn’t need to call and wait on hold until there’s somebody available with whom to talk.

We moved from Arizona to Vancouver, BC at February 2015.  Not a great deal of businesses offered an global move such as this, and U Bundle was undoubtedly the very best cost (PODS wanted nearly 3x the purchase price!) .  From begin to finish, the process was quite eloquent, all questions answered, fantastic customer support, along with the customs procedure in Surrey, BC was a breeze.  We opted to load and load the pod in their websites, and it could not have been simpler – just pull up your truck (within 5-10 feet of this pod).  Such a simple move!  Would definitely use U Bundle again.

In February of 2015 I transferred from central Massachusetts to Minneapolis, MN. I have two U-pack pods to get a tiny 2-bedroom apartment and it was the ideal quantity of space. The shipping and pickup at the ends of the transfer were punctually. The pods were sterile and the doors were secure and weather proof. I’d certainly use U-pack again for a very long distance move.

    U-Pack went above all expectations

My spouse and I really extremely satisfied with our experience using U-Pack.  Everything was on-time and exactly as promised.
A massive snow storm was called from the Northeast and may have quieted our trailer for many times and complies with the upcoming homeowners going van.  U-Pack managed to pick our trailer up one day early even if they have been booked up.  We’re extremely thankful.
The motorist negotiated our driveway with no problem.  It astonished me how such a significant truck can create such tight turns.
Everything came undamaged.  We wrapped everything nicely and wedged items in closely as indicated.  My powerful husband loaded and unloaded the trailer mainly by himself over several days.  I believed we’d require 2 trailers however, was amazed once we didn’t even fill up one trailer.  These trailers are enormous.  In case you’ve ever noticed a truck using a double trailer, then one of these trailers is the typical size.
Yes you’ve got to package everything yourself.  Yes, we’ve probably saved $10,000 on our transfer.
U-Pack surpassed our expectations whatsoever.  We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the business.

    Damaged Property

I didn’t believe I’d ever need to visit theis degree concerning place a bad review of a organization. I’m beyond UPSET within the damage to your own things.  From the start of the moving procedure I received very bad support. The beginning must have given me a type of thought of this adventure I was going to get and that I must have stopped the procedure afterward.  Without posting each of the grisly details, I’ll begin when my things arrived in the drop-off place. As soon as I came on day one to see the truck to make sure my things were fine everything seemed fine. I moved back another time to pickup specific things before the movers picked up the remainder. As soon as I came I had two ABF workers to eliminate the wooden dividers therefore we can begin to unpack. If the dividers have been eliminated all of my furniture began moving forward onto to us. The 2 workers requested that I remove myself in the truck so that I did not have hurt, and that I really did. I couldn’t believe what I was watching. I was so angry that I went to the office to notify them of exactly what had just happened all I got was we’re sorry but here’s an assurance form to submit for damages. WELL, who’d have believed ultimately you submit a claim and are informed you are simply likely to get .10 pennies on the dollar. What on earth could .10 pennies cover when you have tens of thousands of dollars in harm made by ABF Freight. I had been asked why I did not purchase more insurnace, that had been a smack in the facearea. I advised that worker that nobody actually told me about additional policy. It appears to me that this is the way ABF functions. Lets give them a contract, not inform them that they can purchase additional coverage so that we do not need to pay out lots of cash.  I’ll tell everybody I possibly could about ABF in addition to submitting an overview on as many websites I possibly could. Here is a few underhanded unprofessional strategies this business is employing and something has to be done about it.

    Outstanding Value and Service

Upack was fantastic because of our movement out of South Carolina around Maryland. They gave us a great bargain – $320 to get a 500 mi transfer, sending centre to transport centre. Contemplating that was inline with Uhaul pricing, it appeared like a no-brainer to not need to push that things 7-8 hours. Both delivery facilities were industrial however effective and the staff has been instantaneous. Additionally, I discovered that ABF (logistics firm behind Upack) has been a union store – in case this means anything to you (it does for me). In case you’ve got the sort of DIY character that does not mind getting your hands dirty, sending to those facilities saved us around 60-70percent off at the door-to-door cost. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Couldn't be happier

I hadn’t ever utilized UPack before my important move from CA to WI. I truly can’t say enough great things about the ceremony and the cost! The service was outstanding in the departure location to the destination. In the start in was really easy to get setup and they did everything for me personally because I had been at a loss for exactly what size I could need. The destination centre was beyond and above good at working with me on an unload time period. I’d checked other pod firms such as doing it myself using UHaul and UPack was more economical than anybody (like if I’d done it myself with UHaul). If you’re seeking a moving business (such as this in which you load yourself), actually. . .look no longer. I’ll use nobody else later on. Beautiful to use a moving firm and have no worries other than that which you already have to do in order to earn a significant move. Extremely pleased!

    Reliable Service

To start with, they retained my reservation free of charge until the last minute. I reserved the cubes but the man set a wrong month so when I discovered that, it had been too late to make this up. So I reserved the moving agency with Trans United in 2pm, Nov. 25. On the other hand, the firm Trans United maintained on postponing rather than showed up. So I reserved a traller using U-Pack on Nov 26, terminal to door services. It took 3 days to send my stuff out of Philly into Arlington TX, that was fast. U-Pack billed by really space you use so it’s fairly fair. The mattress wasn’t clean when we obtained it, and it took me some time to open the inner door. Except for this, it was fairly great.

Perhaps the only affordable alternative to driving yourself

Everything functioned well, however I believed I Was very much in my to organize with the source and destination support centres about all aspects of this move.   Additionally, I believed that Old Dominion as a distributor, although they had been great, was nevertheless another third party that I needed to organize with individually of U-Pack.   I picked U-Pack predicated on several variables like real time monitoring of this trailer that ended up not being available since the load has been subbed out into Old Dominion.   Overall, U-Pack can do a long time to enhance the support simply by making the process simpler.   I would certainly do it again when I needed to perform quite a long distance movement, however it is not quite the easy service it is supposed to be about the site.
Nevertheless, it is Most Likely the best option now – Especially in the Event You need rapid turnaround or you can not receive a parking permit for PODS/1-800-Pack-Rat.   Furthermore, I believe U-Pack gave us a reduction on the general price over the things they might have billed, so they had been even less costly than anticipated (we utilized more of their traiiler than they anticipated we’d ).

GREAT way to move long distance

This is my first time going without having a U-Haul and now I won’t ever return to this way back. . I’m a recent college graduate, therefore I’ve been going around a lot within the last couple of decades. Lately , I moved from Detroit, MI to Washington, D.C.– to your trip out that I utilized a U-Haul having a car transportation. It was horribly pricey and so stressful driving through the hills in the winter using a trailer behind me that I vowed never to do it again. I made a decision to move back up into the Detroit region after being in DC for just over a year. I’d originally looked into having a moving business (too pricey ) and then a friend recommended PODS. I had been enthused about the thought until I called to receive a quote. . It was roughly four times the cost of my U-Pack ReloCubes. I was frustrated that this stage because it seemed like I had been going to get to utilize another U-Haul, that I had been dreading. Fortunately — my neighbors were going out of country in exactly the exact same time and that I watched their ReloCube at the parking place beside mine and decided to offer them a phone. I was SHOCKED by how I had been treated on the telephone. . They were so friendly, friendly, professional and only really interested in helping make the movement easier for me personally. I reserved my two ReloCubes daily. . For LESS than the expense of a U-Haul (without even factoring in gasoline ). The man who dropped off them made things really simple for me. He put them strategically so that I could match them both in 1 parking place and still open the two of them without getting at all, and he also explained how everything worked, etc.. I loaded them up within a few times and hit the street. In my way from town that I called to tell them that the cubes had been prepared for pickup and they had been on the street right behind me afterwards this day. They came with everything indoors absolutely forgettable approximately 24 hours later I’d arrived. The motorist made things work together with my brand new little drive method and was quite knowledgeable about the city codes, etc., and the way I had to set them. He left everything work so I could get the two cubes, even without touching the pavement, and I will still open my garage door. In general, U Pack created this whole procedure 100% easier for me personally. I’d certainly suggest them and I’ll be using them again for the next move. Thanks!

    Trailer With Storage Review

I’m sharing my own experience since I had Difficulty finding reviews of Individuals who had comparable moving requirements to mine.   Hopefully this can help others that are in my circumstance. My situation were that people had to transfer our 4BR home (with Complete basement and garage) under quite short note.   We also wanted a storage alternative as our new home wasn’t likely to be Prepared for 45 days.   If You’ve Got a smaller family that you have a number of choices (PODs, then Upack Cube( etc).   But with a Great Deal of possessions there are limited options.   Basically you can purchase things to be off-loaded at a warehouse (using a full size company), lease a Enormous storage device, or finish a”trailer grip” (in which they park your trailer at a centre and wait patiently until you are ready to get ).   I’d heard horror stories regarding the amount of harm that can Have the off-loading Procedure.   So that did not look attractive.   I had been worried about the trailer-hold due to my materials not being at a temperature controlled environment.   But that sounded the top of those choices avaialble.   The full size mover I enjoyed best also advocated the trailer-hold. We transferred from Virginia into North Carolina; approximately 200 milesper hour We packaged the trailers in late September and obtained them only before Thanksgiving. I actually did not understand just how much space I’d need. I was convinced it was less than one trailer but no longer than 2.   This wokred our flawlessly with Upack in which you only cover the part of the trailer which you utilize. I chased the pickup with Upack at mid-September to get a late night Septmber move-date.   We had two trailers however, did not have the distance on the road for both at once. So I wanted one to be lost, stuffed, and then substituted with the empty one.   I advised you to be dropped over a Thursday afternoon, along with another to be lost over Friday morning.   In our region Old Dominion managed the cargo to get Upack.   The Individual in shipment was useful with scheduling, however, they supply a four hour window (that was more than I’d have enjoyed ).   The very first trailer came at the Close of the window (noon; by a 8am-Noon slot).   The next trailer came at the Beginning of the window (8am).   Due to some Issues with my Regional movers that the fir trailer wasn’t filled.   The motorist was super concerted and discovered somehere else in the city to lose the trailer.   The man in shipment was rather grumpy though if I called back for them to pickup.   Nevertheless I’d cause them any annoyance.   They ended up not being able to pickup the trailer in the end of Friday so I had them shoot it on Monday.   I had the entire weekend to get the next trailer filled (that was just around 1/2 stuffed anyhow ).   If they pick up the trailers that they place a seal to your divider (or even the bunch of this truck if You’re utilizing the Complete device ).   The drivers did a Terrific job describing the Procedure.   Old Dominion did not possess as”complete” or”strong” a divider since the Upack site shows (but finally this did not make a gap for me personally ).  My trailers came in North Carolina immediately.   They supplied a tracking number so that I could stick to the procedure. However, like I mentioned previously I wanted them to be stored for 45 days (hence that I was in no rush ).   Before I talk about the overtraining I will discuss the fiscal side.   I paid $1,377 for its transportation, and $990/month for the two trailers (complete ).   I spent approximately $700 to cover local movers to load/unload the trailers.   My total was about $4,000 using the Upack alternative.   The most affordable full service quote I purchased was approximately $9,500. So I stored $5,500 moving this course.   It took more logistically for me personally (organizing a few particulars of this procedure ), but using a huge pay-off. The shipment for your off-load was Amazing.   The men in Greensboro using Old Dominion were superb.   Quite professional and accomodating.   Rather than a four hour window they advised me exactly when they’d be there, and came within seconds.   This was the Identical story on the pickup.   The driver was superb. My largest concern was if my possessions are in horrible shape after sitting out in a terminal to 60 days.   The weather probably helped my scenario because they had been in North Carolina through October/November.   But still there were a few hot days to begin (85 degrees) plus a few cold ones in the conclusion (20 levels ).   We haven’t opened all of our boxes but we’d no breakage or even damaage whatsoever around the furniture.   This was with using”ordinary” movers to perform the loading.   The men that I hired (separate local business ) had any expertise but were not as cautious as I’d have wanted.   But if we off-loaded my things the furniture has been in fantastic form. This was true both using the trailer which was complete, and also the one which has been partial (where other substances was sent ).   I found no true indication of road-dust. There was no Substantial shifiting of all boxes/furniture.   Everything was set and in Fantastic shape.   As we all continue to shut I might locate some harm but I will attribute this to our own packers and movers. . .not Upack/Old Dominion. So to sum-up. . .it was a good moving experience (thinking about all of the frustrations and hassles Which Are just a part of the procedure ).   Upack along with Old Dominion customer support were Great.   And that I saved a Great Deal of cash!   I strongly recommend this procedure for people in similar situation to mine. PS We might have stored on a number of the storage costs by offloading the semi automatic trailer.   However the price of this leasing wasn’t much greater than paying somebody to unload and also renting a storage unit.   And this is a much simpler solution.

    Best experience I ever had

We transferred 4 bedroom home OH into FL and from begin to finish that was the very best adventure we’d had. The container has been sent on-time and motorist clarified everything and we required loading assistance from several movers. We enjoyed the concept of paying just for the cubic feet we used from the trailer. Once packed ABF picked the trailer up and sent it in 5 days. After working with the assistance of movers, ABF picked up the trailer. This had been the best move we’d undergone. Offering you U-Pack.

Highly recommend! Easy move from AZ to OR.

I recently just moved from Phoenix, AZ to Portland, OR. I was very nervous at first since I have never used this sort of moving service earlier, however I did a little research and am very happy I utilized U-Pack. It had been such a stress reliever to not need to think about yet another thing when you are moving. I scheduled a pickup of my block to a Friday and got a phone which it already arrived on Monday. I was not even scheduled to be in Portland before that Wednesday so that I was really surprised by how quickly it moved out.
The approach is really easy for a quotation, fill out form, program relocube fall off/pick upward, they may call you if your block has came and you recieve your own relocube. I would also urge that everybody read the Proceed Plan that they supply for you once you purchase your relocube, all of the info that you will need is inside. I’ll certainly recommend U-Pack to anybody that’s thinking about a major move.

    Great service!

We did a cross country move from Brooklyn to Seattle and obtained lots of quotations and settled on ABF since it was the very economical and recommended by a friend. ABF was instant in both the pickup and drop-off along with the drivers at both areas were so kind and helpful. They left coordinating an otherwise trying move a snap. They quoted us for 12 ft but we just used 7 ft. It was a wonderful surprise for his final invoice to be lower than what was quoted! We would use them again in a minute.

    Flawless experience

Upack was easy, efficient, and economical in comparison to other moving services. I used 5 ft of a 28 foot trailer. I had been nominated for seven, but they took off money because of me with less space. I was worried with it turned into a cross-country movement, but everything went as expected. Customer support was fantastic, and the transfer has been quite quickly. I literally had to race my own dispatch throughout the nation. ;-RRB-

    Billing

Place items in storage on July 31st. $495.00 per month. ABF delivered things on October 1st All great. Picked up vacant trailor October 3rd. Charged my card $495.00 again! For 3 times. Finally obtained a charge for $395.00 – $100 for two partial days and a full days use? Afterward come November 3rd they billed my card $495.00 AGAIN!!!   Apparently the trailor was not logged in at the terminal as it had been returned or something like this. May take up to a week to process the charge. Do not take a week to find the money out of my account however. Oh and they did say that they were sorry.

Why would you ever use UHaul?

After considering another lengthy movement from Montana to Oklahoma, then I began looking for options.   After a couple of emails, I determined that U-Pack had been the ideal option.  After finishing the procedure, I am totally happy.   The entire experience was outstanding.   The cost was just marginally more than the usual U-Haul lease and may be roughly the same as you think about fuel expenses.   The entire process was timely and the shipping was really ahead of schedule.  Heck, I never contemplated getting this movement done in 1 week.   What began on Monday has become around as of Friday evening.   My dad is at his brand new retirement flat and I will settle back and revel in a beer.  Why?   Since I only finished one of their very stress free moves I have ever encounter.   Do not be afraid to utilize U-Pack as well as the associated services.

    Very Satisfied

I researched every choice for my interstate movement of over 1,000 milesper hour The entire service moving businesses were far costlier, but might offer the loading, packaging, and transport.  U Haul gave me more loading/unloading flexibility; nonetheless, I’d need to tow my vehicle and drive the truck.  U-Pack provided a 28 ft trailer, and charged exactly what was utilized.  I wound up using roughly 24 feet.
They sent the trailer to my home and let up to 3 times for loading.  They market a three to five business day shipping.  My shipment arrived in their destination terminal to the next working day.  It had been sent to my new home the next day.
Price-wise, U Haul is significantly less expensive; nonetheless, I managed to load more onto the 28 feet trailer, AND I didn’t cover gas or push the truck.  It had been worth the couple hundred bucks I’d have saved.
The business immediately responded to all email queries.  Both the Pick-up and Destination reps (Old Dominion Freight) were personable and helpful; and the motorists were also beneficial.
Strongly recommend this business, and that I will use them again is approx six months once I finish my move.

    You're the best!

When I move again I’ll use U-Pak.  The whole experience was specialist in the web site to the delivery and pickup.  Any person would be absurd to opt for any other mode of transport of the possessions from home to company moves.  Becoming responsible for the packaging and loading of my possessions into the containers I understood that what was done to my own specifications and could deliver nicely.  For the ones who don’t understand how to pack for a transfer, or do not have enough time, there’s professional help easily available.  Here is the best adventure I’ve ever had with a transfer.  Thank you U-Pak.

Moved 30 Times in My Life, This Was The Best!

I’ve moved 30 days up to now, largely self moves with leased trucks or trailers, a few (when somebody else has been paying the invoice ) with full size pack and continue by leading van lines. My expertise with U-Pack has become the best of all of them. It was easy to have estimates online and simple to make changes by telephone. Each of the U-Pack agents we spoke with were courteous, professional and accomodating. To get a cross-country transfer we guessed that U-Pack was more economical than renting a truck or trailer (such as fuel). In addition to the distance from the U-Pack trailer is elastic so we didn’t need to guess on dimensions of trucks or even car-towed trailers. On top of that, we could appreciate our cross-country driveway!

    ABF U-Pack

We utilized ABF to maneuver from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago into the St Pete/Clearwater region on the west shore of Florida. Can not say enough great things about the shipment. Individuals in the terminals included are considerate, understanding (the folks in the Chicago end even went out of the way to earn the drop-off and pick-up times work best for our program ).  The motorists accountable for drop off and pick up in both ends were entirely professional and clarified that our duties to us quite clearly. We’d have a few boxes slightly moist (there’d been some enormous rains in the region during this week. We had bought the insurance to insure us. Had we had to submit a claim, however, it had been so minimal that it was not any big thing!) . We had a quotation according to 13′. Used just 8′. We were just charged what we utilized. No fat involved. Yes, we packaged the bowling balls along with the novels. Good thing to do!

I had a Excellent experience with U-pack.   The container had been dropped off on time, picked up after I was done packaging it.   I enjoyed the Notion of not needing to push the stuff myself.   It got to its destination over time.   The container had been dropped off once guaranteed and picked up after I was completed unloading.   There was excellent communication as well as the motorists where really professional.   Would certainly recommend this corporation.

U-Pack created our relocation from NJ to FL a worry-free encounter.  They did what they promised to perform in a quick and effective way.  The sales team were quite concise and clear about what is done, as it could be achieved and the expenses involved.  Pick up and delivery were both punctual and the employees were extremely courtious and helpful.  Everybody was a joy to take care of.  The shipping man even suggested placing little pads beneath the bunny legs so that my driveway brick wouldn’t be scraped.  Very considerate!  I’d definitely recommend U-Pack.

Entire procedure went smoothly. Were shown courtesy by office personnel during phone inquiries and moving structures, to catalyst deliveries of containers and hired unloaders(Moving Staffers). Billing was just as promised. Paid less then half of what a complete service moving company billed, and has been even slightlly less than that which truck rental would have cost. Here is the thing to do if you do not obey the physical labour of packaging the containers.

    My Move

I recently moved from NY to NC and had the best move ever.   The folks I talked to beginning with all the office employees to Paul H a retired ABF worker was outstanding.   I’d gotten several quotes from all Kinds of leasing trucks and ABF U PACK was the finest.     There was no upfront costs.   The motorist that sent the truck was quite prosfessional and friendly as was the driver that delivered at my new home.   Only difficulty I had was getting the truck to my driveway.   After several tries we got it unloaded and that he had been on his way. If I were to move again I’d definetly use ABF back again.   I’ve told many people they’re the ideal.   Thank you again Mr Hall to your own tips.

Total – an ordinary experience or at otehr words fairly good up till the very end.

    An Absolute Nightmare

They didn’t furnish the identical kind moving trailer portrayed in their own video. It was filthy and did not have some area to tie principles (because their movie educated ). Even the”bulkhead” wall has been only a broken, splintered piece of particle board with no means of procuring it. Their trailer became broken in any point and had two major holes in the roof. From now our possessions were saved inside for a month, and we’d tens of thousands in damages (destroyed, molding things ). They agreed to pay just $160 to all of our destroyed, costly stuff. It has been nearly a month now and we still have not gotten their crappy small attention. What a nightmare! They are rude, unprofessional and they require no responsibility for his or her neglect. I would not expect them to proceed crap!  If you like your possessions in any respect, do not even look at this business, they are very dishonest.

    Best move ever

I was skeptical after reading a few of the testimonials of U-Haul, however, that is the simplest smoothest movement I’ve ever needed. The trailer came fresh and the drivers had been well trained professionals with no trouble setting the trailer just where I had it. I discovered I had 2 more toes than called but loved having the ability to correct than leave anything behind.   HINT If I’d had more straps and also a ladder that I think that additional footage could have never been needed, as my buddies packing didn’t fill all of the way into the very best (9 ft is large!)

    Would recommend to anyone moving!!

I can’t rave enough about ABF. From start to end they had been great to use. I needed to reschedule numerous occasions and they had been so effective in tackling everything. I would suggest talking with Erica Davis. She made me feel as though we had been long time friends. She explained everything in such amazing detail and made me feel so comfortable about the transfer. When the truck was delievered into Utah that I was not able to keep it there overnight so that they made a special trip to come back and pick this up only a couple of hours later. Tom delievered the truck to Ohio and that he had been so friendly and useful. He moved from his manner and transferred the truck several times until we got it at the ideal place. Then once I received my paperwork I discovered that the footage was a bit more than what it was likely to be so I phoned and talked to some gentlemen and he shifted the footage and then refunded my card straight away no questions asked. Moving across the Nation Isn’t a fun experience but with ABF they left it so much easier than I could have ever expected.   Thanks again!

    Wonderful Service All-around

We had previously used PODS to maneuver in OH to VA at 2013.  After we heard we’d be moving to the Williamsport, PA region in June of 2014, we again sought out PODS but discovered that PODS didn’t support our new place.  The PODS agent, however, recommended that I try phoning their rival, U-PACK.  My spouse and I was totally satifsfied using PODS therefore we were both a little disappointed to hear this news and scared of attempting a new business, U-PACK.  We haven’t been!  Our expertise from begin to finish with U-PACK couldn’t have been more agreeable or effective and the price was more economical.  We’d used one PODS device (2100 sq feet home ) where we needed to use every piece of distance in top to base.  This time, we chose to use a complete ABF 28′ preview (instead of many relo cubes) and by doing this, did not need to load”large” that we think helped to prevent things from shifting and becoming ruined.  (Of Note:  it is possible to book to utilize less of a AB trailer however if you need or will need to use more space throughout the loading procedure, the price per foot to perform this is extremely affordable.)  Obviously, an individual has to be cautious in correctly tying down things using ropes and bungee cords and we’ve learned to maintain and make use of older blankets, comforters, and mattress pads to protect furniture throughout our motions.  Every U-Pack customer support representative we came into contact with was exceptionally considerate, knowledgeable and useful to incorporate the ABF trailer drivers themselves. Our trailers were sent and picked up in time.  In actuality, our trailer has been picked up from the Williamsburg, VA place to a Thursday and had been already in PA on Friday (we really think we handed it en route)!  Since U-PACK doesn’t deliver within the weekend, we didn’t need to wait till Monday morning to your truck to be sent to our new place but it gave us sufficient time to wash and prepare the new house for our househould possessions.  I would highly recommend using U-PACK and We’ll use them over PODS when given the opportunity to our next Important transfer (and we all know There’ll be once again over the Upcoming few decades ).    I would also suggest taking the opportunity to browse all of the literature U-PACK sends concerning packaging both relo cubes or the ABF preview in addition to indicating one testimonials the way to uninstall and then set up the majority heads and loading drops if utilizing the preview (videos all easily found on YouTube).  Happy Moving!

    Terrible

I truly regret doing business with ABF. They pushed back our shipping 3 days, while they guaranteed ontime shipping. And so, I had to reschedule my movers and cover fine for it. It was the final week of June, that’s the longest period for transferring and most of movers are totally reserved. Subsequently their truck broke. Massive mindset problme whenever I predicted.  Please, Please cover just a little bit more and DO NOT hire them.

Booked my Relocube weeks ahead of time. Even got a letter confirming that the shipping was supposed to happen on Friday 4-8pm like I have asked. Working 12 hour shifts monday to saturday. I just have sunday to transfer my things into the block. Whent Friday arrived, the ReloCube hasn’t arrived and I needed to phone their support centre to find out that the ReloCube wasn’t coming! Their ONLY motorist was apparently hurt. Its a legitimate reason supposing its accurate, but I’d have enjoyed them calling me and telling me that it wasn’t coming instead of permitting to await nothing. There was no appology in their own staff. The sole appology I have was after I cancelled my order. I needed to invest more money as today I had to transfer ASAP. I wouldn’t recommend this firm to my worse enemy.

    Damages Items and Wrongly Bills

I would strongly recommend against using this business for moving in case you value precision in the volume you’re charged or if you appreciate your things not being ruined in the process of going at no fault of your own. It’s no joke that my entire family was in tears if we started the trailer and watched a number of the things we possessed ruined. I had multiple issues with Upack. To begin with , I had been billed for the incorrect amount for my own trailer use. This price has been significantly greater than was warranted given the distance I employed (an additional $792). Fortunately, I grabbed this massive mistake, but I had been out of cash on my charge card before they reversed that this excess charge. Customer support was really helpful in solving this and that I had been reimbursed this additional sum, but I should not need to devote a part of my time going trying to resolve billing discrepancies with U-pack. Second, my things have been substantially damaged during the movement solely on account of the neglect of U-pack. Oddly, a massive metal bar I didn’t own finished up supporting the bulkhead and in addition to my furniture. According to a single ABF worker, this was out of another dispatch in exactly the exact same trailer. This metallic bar led to a 500 desk being completely destroyed and several different things becoming seriously damaged. Again, the customer support was very helpful and I got an insurance policy reimbursement that was just 0.10 percent (I purchased significantly less than $30 to get a 500 desk). Naturally, that wasn’t enough to pay for my things price. It was quite distressful to get items you just paid to sent totally destroyed because of U-pack’s incompetence with no error of my own.Overall, I invested over $3038 to transfer my things throughout the nation and was left with pieces of furniture and hours on the telephone attempting to resolve stuff with U-pack.

    Rude customer service

I opted to employ Upack to get a long distance transfer.  When I called to set up the trailer shipping I had it only a couple of days later.  The salesman promised me they’d possess the trailer dropped in my place on the afternoon I had between 8am and 10am.  I supported the times and date with him TWICE prior to finishing our phone.  Well, day of the transfer and no shipping as promised.  When I called to investigate in which my trailer was the individual on the telephone stated that the booking I made was to get the next week!  I assured him it wasn’t as I had to be in my destination in that day already and that there was a mistake.  I even had the title of the individual I made the reservation with and was really talking to him again.  Obviously, he denied ever talking to me.  The thing that disturbs me the most was the simple fact that he kept repeating that it was MY mistake.  No apology. No”allow me to see what occurred”. Nothing.  Total rudeness.  No liability with this corporation.  Any chance of me using or recommending this company to anybody is currently gone.  Obviously , it cost me a great deal of money to modify my plans last minute.  I’m quite upset with the manner Upack managed up this mix.  Very unprofessional!!!

    Hire a real moving company!!!

We made a decision to utilize ABF/U-Pack to spare a couple of hundred bucks on our transfer. They were used by us along with the moving company they advocated (to load their truck to get us) believing we’re making a smart option. All of it looked like a wonderful concept, however it turned out to be a enormous HUGE mistake!
To start with, ABF is a freight business, NOT a moving firm. They could call themselves”U-Pack” or anything, but they showed around our home using a dirty truck trailer which seemed as though it was lately utilized to haul filthy engine cubes into the scrap yard. I was not impressed!
The following day the movers had been scheduled to emerge. After they got there, it had just two men in a pickup truck. My first question to them was,”Maybe you have worked together with ABF before?” I had been confident that they had and that they must work… without needing moving blankets, as well as cable to fasten our load. Again, I was not impressed!
I’ve resided in Arkansas, Indiana, Pennsylvania (many occasions ), North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama. I’ve owned four homes, and have dwelt in 3 apartment complexes. This is the very first time I have not only moved our loved ones myself. I’m getting old and did not have any assistance. I must have moved us one more time!
So to make a long story short, what we did not have awakened and exceptionally over-padded was ruined. 1 box was smashed nearly to half of its former dimensions. It had been so poor that my PC had the warmth sync knocked from the CPU, although it was sent in its original box! My buddy who assembles PCs for a living (and’d constructed this one himself) advised me he’d never even heard of a PC being internally damage in a move. Luckily, it’s a definite sealing instance and that I detected the harm before I burnt out my CPU.
Anyhow, the very first person I had been put in touch with assured me everything will be taken car of. I had been sent a claim out of, and started emailing a Ms. Graham over the entire procedure I needed to undergo to receive my greatly damaged possessions repaired. We emailed back and fourth a couple occasions and I began the procedure for obtaining the parts arranged for my sofa to be mended.
I had been told I needed to send in their own claim type. I had been told when the claim form has been filled out someone would almost certainly be outside and evaluate the damage for our possessions. I started to feel a booth.
So, I decided if I was really going to be made to obey a procedure merely to receive my sofa repaired, I would incorporate everything that has been ruined. I sent the form in and it had been shipped back to me using a notation which I needed to have a cost quote. More stall? I set $875 (that was really low) just so the ever elusive U-Pack adjuster will eventually appear and find a more exact adjustment of this harm.
After MONTHS of attempting to make them appear and evaluate the damage to the majority of the furniture, I eventually got an email telling me that their contract discharges them from any harm obligation because we stuffed the truck. As soon as I said that they did so the packing I had been advised that it was still not their fault and that I must contact their preferred”movers.”
This is obviously NOT what they introduced to my wife if she ordered for our possessions and valuables to be hauled by ABF. In addition, this is clearly not exactly what I had been lead to think for weeks while I had been moving back and forth together with ABF and their futile”claim type” procedure.
The moral to the story is… If you would like to employ movers, seek the services of a real moving company that can insure your house… and bypass believing you’re likely to save a couple of hundred bucks together with ABF and U-Pack.
Everything you might simply get is quite damaged possessions, eventual refusal of any error by ABF (regardless of the illness ), a few months of these pretending that they care and that they are likely to make matters right… just to get”Oh, there’s this small loophole on your contract… and you do nothing.”
I’ve registered a complaint with the BBB.

THEY STEAL YOUR BELONGINGS AVOID THEM

    AVOID ABF U-pack.
    AVOID ABF U-pack.
    AVOID ABF U-pack.
They steal your possessions, plus they don’t accept responsibility. We leased a U-Pack out of Ottawa, Canada to Milwaukee, WI. After we obtained our box, then our TV was lost. We contacted them they said you don’t have any evidence, so we don’t accept your criticism. It was evident , they themselves steal people’s possessions by opening up the lock that you set in your own U-Pack. That is the reason why they ask you to place your own lock, so that they do away with this liability.

Did NOT deliver to location as promised!!

We were moving to a house we hadn’t ever seen in person. On the afternoon of shipping they sat told us”sorry we can not make it into your residence.” How is that this problem? We have a trailer and the driver helped unload the block. You will find multiple things ruined. We carefully packaged the block; it occurred durning dispatch of course. This is the very first and last experience with business. They did not even attempt to make it directly with us. No partial refund or anything. They guaranteed a ceremony and it wasn’t delivered. Does not seem appropriate to me.

    Very happy

They provided me the best quotation, but I was reluctant because I thought”well there could possibly be a reason behind it being really inexpensive” but see reviews on the internet and I phoned them. From the first known as they explained everything, the procedure, the delivery choices, things to do on delivery, in amount everything. They gave me a quotation but did not push to create the earnings, which I had been amazed. I hung up and called again a couple of days later and chose to go together.
The block came they day we put up for it and when we were finished loading it, we telephone and instantly they picked this up. They say it’ll require up to 11 times to send it to PR out of Buffalo. In my situation it took them 10 days. I was not really expecting the block when they predicted that it was prepared for shipping. We request if it could be delivered yet another day and they also did.
On the shipping date, they informed us that they delivery truck will probably be in the public stroage centers from 9:30 to 10:00am. Howevery that they delivery man called us 9:55hope that he had been on his own way. He really came at 10:10. Not bad considering how awful traffic is from the San Juan region.
Everything interior was in great states, but quite dusty, really enjoy a dark dust. Initially we thought things we’ll be ruined because they attract the block into a Flat Bed truck. The block was downloaded into the floor within an angle. We believed that everything inside was likely to be changed towards the block’s doorway. But because of the truth that everything was really nicely manicured and quite tight, and nothing broke. You need to be certain you package the block tight, to ring and then bubble-wrap everything, as they don’t have insurance to get items that break indoors throughout the transfer. And things that can not find dirty, such as matresses, be certain that you have covers to get them.
What I enjoy the most how simple they made the entire procedure, essentially was. Phone, set the cubes up delivery date. Upload. They then call and set up the coming time, downloadand telephone back to pick up the block. That is it.

    Will not use again

I have done lots of study before I reserved ABF U-Pack and, for the large part, saw great reviews. I’d love to clear up some things for somebody who might wind up in exactly the exact same scenario I came out.
To begin with, I reside within a 1 bedroom flat. My main furniture would be my bed’s seat and also my sofa. As soon as I reserved the ReloCube, I counseled of this 1 bedroom apt, it advocated 1 block. Allow me to warn you, when you’re coming out of a 1 bedroom flat, with typical furniture, mention a few moderate bookcases, television stand, sofa, mattress and headboard, dining room dining room, many boxes, and you might choose to elect for two cubes. (Or move with another choice entirely.) Now, presuming my items will fit in 1 block might have been disillusional in my character, but I just had other testimonials and exactly what the firm advised me of. I needed to leave a few little parts of furniture and still take two car loads of stuff for my own move.
Secondly, they expected that a period of shipping involving 12-4 on Monday. They came at 5:30pm. A hour and a half late from the quoted shipping period. The most frustrating part is I needed to keep phoning the supply centre to discover when they would be there, as it should have been them calling me and I want to know. I can understand being overdue, just allow me to know. Another unfortunate part is that I had family and friends waiting to assist me move, so that they waited a few hours with me before it got there. The shipping driver did not appear to understand that he needed to send my block until last minute since I’d told him how I had called earlier to confirm and that he said he was a few hours out of the place at the point. Quite dishonest the way that they handled it. However, I was already in too deep.
On the site, it estimates you two business day transit occasions. I had them pick this up to a Tuesday (I predicted early that afternoon ), and that I guessed it’d arrive at my destination from Thursday, newest Friday. I predict the supply centre to Thursday at noon to affirm it is in transit into my town, and it is in a very different city. Lisa, the customer service representative was really pleasant and as helpful as she could be, but finally phoned me early Friday morning to allow me to know it would not arrive until over the weekend on them and I’d get it on Monday. No projected time.
Now it is possible to imagine my frustration since I arrived in town late night thursday night, along with family and friends in tow (from 3 countries above, mind you, who were departing Sunday night) to allow me to all of the ReloCube. Lisa advocated I phoned customer service as a result of matter but ultimately indicated that it is simply a estimated time of birth. I got it on Monday. I again, had to phone to find an ETA. The driver that fell off my ReloCube was so great! I can not recall his title, but he had been the very best thing in my encounter with the corporation. Finally, if you opt to experience the business, be certain that you book additional ReloCubes (I do not believe that they charge you in case you reserve an additional one but do not wind up using it. Surely may wish to actually check on this though!) And should you have friends, family or movers which are unloading the ReloCube on you, pay the excess for the warranty. Since they have been late, I needed to reserve local movers in the very last minute and be more expensive from pocket. Hope this review helps!!

    Horrible Experience with U-Pack

I highly recommend never with this business!!   They lie by ommission.   I’d not have contracted for this business if they had revealed their company procedures up front, and that’s no doubt the reason they purport to disclose.   For absolutely no reason that they forward-date the pickup date with one day.   They Don’t reveal up front that They Don’t rely buisness days in their own estimated 3-5 day delivery.   They don’t disclose up front that they will travel out of your pickup website to a heart where they load up commerical products to the rest of your trailer and await there as long as they need before providing the business goods and then getting into a delivery website. They don’t reveal up front that you’ll find incredibly hefty bulkhead doors that can’t be opened or closed by a single individual. The outcome for me was a 11 day delivery which was likely to be 3-5 plus they provided a $50 refund!! And, they billed me for the whole delivery until I received it.
Plus, they care absolutely nothing about the client who has flaws in delivery. There have Zero consumer devotion, no curiosity about behaving professionally in their poor performance and bad communications.   In my view they’re a deceptive company, just a fraud could return all that advice until the client is dedicated.

BEWARE: ROBBED AND 75% DAMAGED FURNITURE

IF I COULD GIVE A LOWER RATING THAN POOR, I CERTAINLY WOULD!   We’ve moved many times by professional movers and this was by far the WORST. Among the ABF PACKERS STOLE OUR CREDIT CARDS AND RAN UP OVER 2K IN TWO DAYS. We had been overcharged for the next trailer since it was packed out rather than up (they bill by linear ft ).  This additional about an additional $3K (within the initial quote ) to our final invoice. There was a person named Meredith (haughty, condescending, and rude) using ABF U-Pack/Movebuilders in the Arkansas Headquarters who wouldn’t hear us concerning the improper packing of the next preview, but also the men and women who unloaded the trailer. The drivers said it had been estimated and packaged wrongly.   Our furniture has been ruined since the trailers were filled incorrectly and were was tied up with twine rather than bulk-heads to guarantee the equilibrium of the load. A lamp color to a very pricey Stiffel lamp has been crammed into a box and completely ruined. This was packaged with ABF U-Pack. An Elk statute of considerable size and worth proved to be a 25th wedding anniversary present (again packaged with U-Pack) has been unrepairably ruined alongside other family heirlooms.  The list continues on and on. A conservative estimate was 75 percent of our household products were dented, scratched, or broken. When our possessions arrived in Wisconsin, the people unloading our possessions began to point out the damages to our furniture, etc., imagining the inadequate packaging and also the shifting of the load. We contacted Meredith with ABF U-Pack about each of the damages and she subsequently contacted the manager of this unloaders and advised him to relay to the people performing the unloading to quit POINTING OUT DAMAGES TO US. We finally settled our damage claims with U-Pack/Movebuilders. They shipped”Furniture Dr.” to fix the scratches, dents and chips from the furniture. You can certainly still see where he did the improper repairs. Another debacle was coping with all the claims. The claims adjuster couldn’t even include the claim amounts right, and completely missed claims that were reported. He had been non-responsive into our e-mails. We needed to email three times before he’d respond. Additionally, we needed to repeatedly contact him for corrections to the mistakes he had created. A word to the wise, BEWARE OF ABF-U Pack/Movebuilders or whoever they are! Ensure You’ve Got background checks to the packers/unpackers whomever you choose to maneuver your private possessions.

    Unfullfilled Promises!!!!

I’d reserved U-Pack to maneuver from Ga into Il. After talking with a few salespeople, I had been confident that we had been scheduled and set. It had been explained to us that the trailer could be sent to our place 3 times before the actual transfer, and when we needed a earlier pickup to only call them. And, following the trailer had been sent to the specified place, it may be unpacked and transferred by these again. NEVER once failed to imply that when the trailer has been shot to the secondary movement website, it needed to stay onsite for at least 24 hours before elimination. Obvilously, many storage places don’t need a trailer carrying space up and we needed to phone more than 50 loactions to locate one which would permit this to take place. It turned out to be a neighboring city with all the U-Pack supply centre and approximately 1 mile away from the initial storage place. When I called back I talked with Jory, explained our problem by locating a storage facility which was ready to work together and updated the speech. We’re nearly full and in the very last minute he states,”Oh, and I believe we have a issue. We don’t deliver to the town that you suggested your storage device was in.” Obviously , I had been so shocked, frustrated, and then he provided NO alternatives other than to take it in their distribution centre and employ another inspector to bring it into the storage facility which has been less than 5 kilometers off! He wouldn’t tell me why they couldn’t send to the neighboring city, and provided NO options! What a waste of a complete day phoning to discover a centre which would let their 28 feet trailer to remain overnight and he then had the guts to tell me we were not in their own place??? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It isn’t worth the frustrations of having their own sister company to the job of proceeding as well as also the runaround with the bad communication. You’re better off leasing a uhaul or performing exactly what we did and utilizing a real moving company such as Bekins!

    Broken furniture

ABF service was fine that the truck was on time but my contents were quite ruined.   They place heavy items in my marble vest top and broke it in half, boxes clearly indicated brittle were smashed and materials all broken.   Many things can’t be fixed or replaced. Though I do not necessarly blame ABF with this I attribute moving staffers.   So Should You use ABF DO NOT USE MOVING STAFFERS.   They aren’t PROFESSIONAL loaders. They market that they are trained practitioner loaders but believe me they’re a staffing firm with afternoon labors. Additionally when I called to tell them of the harm they blamed it on transit. Quite simply ABF RECOMMENDS THEM AND THEY DO HORRIBLE WORK AND THEN BLAME IT ON ABF.   ABF’S trucks are extremely large so in the event that you don’t believe that you can load it yourself then either hire day labors your self (such as Home Depot) or move with a pod of some kind so that you can take your time and load it yourself. kristine c

Communication was excellent, and this business was so very patient with me since I needed to maintain post-poning the date of my movement.  I truly liked the concept that I was able to padlock that the bulkhead between my possessions and whatever else they may ship in the distance behind it.  The truck turned into a newer one, so had no issues with leaks or dirt.  Everything arrived in good shape, and the cost was much lower than any competition. . .PLUS. . .it left me free to push my own pet-laden automobile!!!  I strongly recommend this firm.  A great deal of work to package each and every item you have and subsequently load and load the vehicle, but the savings has been really well worthwhile.

    Relo Cube perfect for move

My daughter transferred out of DC area to Minneapolis. In January. I didn’t need to be on the street in an ice storm so we chose on Relo Cube from U-pack. It was great. She did not have that much material so we could fit all of it in. It had been sent on time (actually sooner than intended ). .we could take our time loading it. They picked it up and it had been delivered in time. In Minneapolis in her aggressively there was no drive in which the Cube could be dropped off. You’ve got to have licenses to allow them to be abandoned on the road and the company managed this. Everything was in great shape once the Cube came, even a few glass-front bookshelves. I’d certainly suggest this to anybody who wants to move a little sum. The price was about the same as renting a truck. The business was very professional and helpful.

    U-Pack Move went great

We transferred my mother-in-law out of her home in Lakewood, CA near Los Angeles to Pittsburgh.   We looked into Various options including conventional moving business into some container support (PODS and competitions ), to do-it-ourselves one way truck rental.   U-Pack supplied a 28′ vacant trailer.   They dropped it off before the home.   We packaged it on a weekend, and they picked it up on Monday.   They then dropped it off in the new flat, we all unloaded it and then they picked it up once we were all done.   You pay with the linear foot of trailer (8′ wide, 9′ high), using a 5′ minimal.   This worked extremely well for us since fitting what she’d to the containers we discovered was hard or expensive.Setting upward the movement was simple.   Phone the toll free number, provide the information (or utilize the Web Site, and that’s exactly what I did), and get a quote.   I phoned them to Really envision matters, which had been likewise easy.In Lakewood, we had any trouble with all the trailer delivered when they said they would, but with a couple of telephone calls it got performed on the afternoon we needed it.   Because They Don’t operate on the weekend, then we had it delivered to a Friday, and they did.The preview has been sent vacant using a ramp (it is a real truck trailer having a 4′ off the ground floor).   It is empty when they send it.   We hired seasoned movers to assist us load it, since packaging a truck so materials survives a couple million mile trip is not Straightforward.   We have everything cushioned and booted down.   1 suggestion for anybody who does this can be that U-Haul lifts furniture pads just one way, which is exactly what we had.   U-Pack provides a 8′ high wall, essentially two sheets of plywood using a few pipes to grip the sheets together and hook to the slots which run down both sides of the preview.   This demises your material from whatever else that goes from the trailer after.   They warn you that it’s not meant to maintain your stuff set up.  U-Pack is a branch of ABF trucking.   They drag the trailer for their terminal, then load commercial cargo in and ship it into a terminal near you.   The walls protects your material with That cargo.   It generally takes 4-5 weeks, not like the evenings to boat upon the Nation.   It worked better for people to possess the trailer delivered the next Wednesday, Though we might have experienced it as soon as Monday. We had that the trailer delivered and picked up on the Identical day.   The centre she resides in wouldn’t let’s leave it immediately.   The Pittsburgh terminal Managed to adapt that on our favored Moment.   They sent it as promised, and decided it up as promised. When we started the trailer, so it seemed exactly as we’d left it from Lakewood.   We took the wall down , unloaded the trailer and also called the terminal to inform them it was willing to be chosen up.This worked out good for us.   It was cost effective, fairly painless, also gave us the maximum flexibility.

    Two trailers

I’d read some horrible reviews of each of the main van lines but didn’t need to push a truck 1,500 miles in my own.  ABF looked the smartest choice.  Depending on the Upack on line estimator I composed with 17 linear feet to the 3 bedroom home.  I should have left out a lot since we immediately stuffed all 26 ft of trailer.  I called to get another one and it was sent fast.  I hired neighborhood movers to assist load up the trailers and then we piled right into the very best on the very first trailer.  The second was not packed too and that there was wasted area on top.  It is hard to pack strange shaped products.  Standard moving boxes operate much better than liquor boxes as they’re consistent shapes and sizes.  Anyhow, ABF obtained both trailers into my destination on program and, despite a few settling during dispatch, there was hardly any harm.  The price I had been charged was true and there weren’t last-minute”extras”. I would highly suggest Upack and ABF, however over-estimate your footage and also receive fantastic crews for unloading and loading.

    So grateful

Over seven years have passed since our relocation, and also this belated review was motivated by viewing several ABF trucks through a journey two days past, reminding me how thankful we are still to the people at ABF for producing what might have been a nightmarish move to a true joy. Since we proceeded over Memorial Day weekend, we had five times to load the 1 1/4 containers we had for its contents of a 2200 sq. ft. home, stuff we had gathered over 25 decades ago . .including 4 canoes as well as the energy resources, etc., we’d have to construct our new property. Friends helped us load (what a celebration!) Along with the landlord of the temporary leasing in Virginia discovered us three nice children to help us unpack. The drivers for both delivery and pickup were so friendly and helpful, and we could monitor our stuff on the internet with no hitch. A little bit of damage to furniture has been strictly our fault. . .we ran from cushioning toward the conclusion and did not bother to discover more. When a buddy rented a sizable Uhaul truck to maneuver a similar space, the leasing was almost a million more than we paid, and U-pack not merely did the driving, but compensated for petrol and tolls too. I recommend their service to some friend who’s arranging a move. Our experience could not have been improved.

What a fantastic experience I’d going with Upack!  As one mother going from NC to KY, I was completely stressed out, however upack and its excellent team members left it the simplest and most inexpensive move I’ve ever produced.  Each one of the individuals –by your reservations staff to the workplace people to the motorists –were both knowedgable, agreeable, and fair.  In addition, the cost was precisely what has been quoted to me personally, zero add-ons or hidden taxes or fees.  Considerably less expensive and less stressful than renting a moving truck and driving it myself or having somebody drive it for me personally.  The block delivery and pickup times were as scheduled and incredibly prompt.  I moved my belongings into storage therefore the centre required that the cubes have been picked up from the close of the company day.  This was no problem for Upack–they arrived and picked up the cubes over 20 minutes of my phone!  My furniture and possessions came in precisely the exact same form I loaded them in and it literally seemed like nothing had changed in any way.  I tied off my boxes and furniture utilizing the tie-offs within the cubes, which really stabilized everything.  LOL at the last moment, I had chucked a wicker laundry basket at along with all and once I opened the block 500 miles later, the basket was at precisely the exact same place as when I snapped it in at the top.  Highly recommend this company and Several thanks to all of those Upack staff membrs who assisted me

The trucks were punctually. The folks worked together with me to Ascertain the amount of a distance required.   The quotation was exactly the same in the end and the start. My difficulty was with the movingstaffers who deal with them.   Was told one fee and then billed quite a different number 3 times before.   The packers came punctually but took several fractures. The first 28 feet truck I had folks there and it was packaged nicely to the very best and no harm.   Second truck that the packers needed to perform themselves. Fantastic damage.   Important gouges from the furniture. I was advised one fee for blankets.   Following the trucks were filled billed another and desired check or cash. The unpackers didn’t Appear for 2 hours.   Got billed for them although I dinight rely on them.   Moving staffers impolite called me a liar.   I moved into the visa firm got the overcharges back along with a number of the unpackers charges. Can use ABF however they ought to contract with another group or never urge any movers in Any Way.

    Nobody is responsible

Delivery of this trailer was punctually. The loading of the trailer another day was less than ideal. Loading and unloading has been performed by Moving Staffers, who were contracted with UPack. Loading took 9 1/2 hours to load a 28 feet trailer and has been done quite badly. The load has been loosely packed and changed during transit causing harm to almost everything in the trailer. I packaged the boxes with bubble wrap and cloth padding, as well as the furniture has been wrapped with blankets and shrink wrap plus they still managed to create a good deal of harm. The unloading crew couldn’t feel the state of the load, so showing us images that they take of the loading tasks for policy in the event of issues. The difference was stunning. Our load appeared just like it something from a lousy humor. The unloading team did an excellent job managing a load which kept attempting to change onto them. I called customer support about a promise. I had been advised by Janey that nothing has been covered during transit. I left a remark about Moving Staffers being those that did the loading up. She said this a damage claim has to be made prior to the team leaves the website. To put it differently, you need to know beforehand that they have done a bad job and set in a claim until they are completed. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody.

The driverof our truck that delivered our belongings to our new place was incredible. He’d useful strategies and was extremely beneficial. He made our movement so mch simpler, smoother and better. Packing and loading your possessions is the most economical and best thing to do if you’re able to do it. It’s pain-free, easy and as you packed your own items, you’ve got complete hands so there are not any difficulties with worrying about others handling your own stuff. These men are easy to use, professional and reasonably priced. I’ll always recommend them and use them for most of my future moves.

    First Move

As a school student, this is my very first move ever and I must say it went better than I thought it would! ABF did a fantastic job, from customer support to be on time for pickup and delivery. They could transfer my things accross the nation in 4 business days. While there were other businesses that provided similar services for less, I did not wish to wait for 10-14 business days for my own posseions once I transferred without a furniture. They were fine enough to provide me a student discount, that saved me $75. I would advise ABF to anybody, just make sure you confirm everything as soon as you have it setup! I ended up needing to alter my destination speech together once I had originally set up the transfer. I phoned U-Pack and allow them to know but they had not informed ABF of this shift until I phoned and made sure everything was right. It was a little mistake, which was easily fixed after communication was apparent between all parties. My stuff came at the Ideal address so really that is all that matters.

    AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

Here is actually the WORST moving business I might have ever picked. This whole experience was a complete nightmare and my cargo is delayed over FOUR days! The trailer has been dropped off at Massachusetts to a Friday at which it had been loaded filled with furniture and immediately picked up Tuesday afternoon (that was already late since we phoned them to pickup the trailer Monday). On Wednesday afternoon, I talked with the ABF representative who informed me that my furniture could be here at Kentucky Friday involving 8-12. I stated that could be ideal and organized for household to assist moving my furniture from this trailer. Thursday afternoon, I phoned to allow the ABF destination terminal understand who’d be there on Friday to register to the trailer just to learn that my cargo trailer sat in the Connecticut terminal at 90 degree heat and then thunderstorms and rain for TWO DAYS! The cargo didn’t even leave Connecticut before Thursday that made Friday delivery hopeless! Upon talking to two distinct ABF agents, I had been listened to by BOTH repetitions and advised my preview was somewhere between Connecticut and Dayton, Ohio. Come to learn, it flew at Connecticut before Thursday evening!!! On Friday, I had been told it’d be at Kentucky for a Monday (now ) delivery involving 8-noon that I already did not think because of my prior days adventures of being lied to and directed on regarding where my trailer had been. Upon calling the coming termnial this afternoon, I had been told my trailer could actually NOT be in now as it was STILL at Dayton, Ohio sitting there waiting for shipment! Did anybody call to let me understand this? NOPE! Can I need to call to discover my very own trailer wouldn’t be coming today and might not even arrive tomorrow? YES! I had been given an estimated transit time of 2 business days in Massachusetts into Kentucky. Now is currently day  tomorrow and 4 will probably be company day 5 and that I might not even have my furniture afterward! I’ve been required to take three days away from work owing to this”trailer coming today between 8-12″ and that is currently the next day that the trailer hasn’t arrived! I might need to miss work elsewhere to wait once more to my trailer to get there. This whole experience was extremley stressful rather than really worth the 1800 we compensated to transfer my furniture. ABF didn’t even offer to dismiss the fee even just a tiny piece for the moment, anxiety, and lack of work days they’ve caused me! This provider is actually the worst on the market and that I wish I’d have invested the excess cash to either buy new furniture or transfer the furniture at a UHaul myself. Don’t waste your time with this business as you’ll be quite frustrated and left out from the dust in relation to wherever your tens of thousands of dollars of furniture will be!

TERRIBLE COMPANY TO USE TO MOVE

ABF UPack utilized Moving Staffers because there business of choice for both unloading and loading of household products.  At Kansas City the workers of visiting Staffers or the business that Transferring Staffers contracted to have been overdue and then told me the way they had been individuals to visit for loading and moving.  Upon arrival at Florida, most harms to high end furniture has been ruined due to the way that it had been loaded.  A plentiful supply of transferring pads were supplied, and I still have them, and the furniture was still damaged, some beyond use or repair.  The business that Moving Staffers utilized for unloading in our house in florida came ill prepared and with no dolly to float with.  They weren’t advised that there was a secure from the trailer to float after we repeatedly told everybody involved that there was.  I am not locating my criticism using all the unloaders, I am finding fault with people who loaded with the trailer from Kansas City and that there were four guys to initiate the load.  In florida they employ two men to do exactly what 4 failed in Kansas City. In general, ABF and Moving Staffers deny any and all damages as if it isn’t any fault, even at the paperwork which you register to utilize them, it istill not there fault as they’re a freight company rather than even a furniture hauler. Should they treat a worker like that, I hate to find out what they do to the rest of you personally. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ABF UPACK that I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING STAFFERS OR ANYONE THEY HIRE TO MOVE, UNLOAD, OR LOAD YOUR HOUSEHOLD GOODS.

Don't Believe What U Pack tells you!

Delivery of this trailer was on time and went away without a hitch. The trouble began with the loading of the trailer the following moment. Loading and unloading has been performed by Moving Staffers that had been contracted by UPack. Loaders did an exact inadequate job of loading on the vehicle. They filled heavy boxes at the top of rather light boxes inducing the decreased ones to smash harmful items which were contained inside them. Despite the fact that I packaged the boxes with bubble wrap, shrink wrap and paper sheets that they still managed to create a great deal of harm. After the trailer is ready for pickup the pickup driver is designed to guarantee the bulkhead that separates your items in the remaining portion of the trailer. He must put a safety label on the bulkhead as you see this being performed that you confirm the label positioning and signal that this was completed. None of that has been done in our situation. The driver showed up, hooked up the trailer and then removed. I didn’t sign some paperwork, see the position of the bulkhead or some of the right procedure. When truck has been started on the conclusion the bulkhead was leaning against all of our items causing harm during transportation. The shipping driver affirmed that everything hadn’t been completed properly. He’d have me witness that the clipping of the safety tag that was the very first time that I had been visiting it. The unloading adventure was completely the contrary from the loading. The driver was fantastic and considerate. The playoff team did the best they can with the unloading because all of the damage was done through the loading. Today, comes the best part. I called customer support to question about a promise. I had been informed by Alana who NOTHING IS COVERED DURING TRANSIT. Damage has to be maintained while they’re loading the vehicle. I asked how can I tell what had been ruined prior to unpacking the boxes and that I replied that just damage really unloading and loading is coated and That’s at $1.00 a pound.    The point is, I wouldn’t recommend this firm to anybody and I’d be happy to share more details with anybody.

    Great Service Great Price

Wow – I need to echo everyone’s opinions – ABF UPack supplied quite professional, simple and very affordable support.  I HATE shifting and do it many many times. I have used everything from complete out moving solutions that package for one to buddies with trucks.  This is by far the simplest, many drama-free and decent expert support I’ve encountered.  I kept waiting for something to go wrong, however, it did not.  The specifics of my transfer shifted many times until it really occurred, but every time that I called, the customer support reps I talked to were considerate and responsive.  I thought, in contrast to other moving services, their prices are very fair.
I had been transferring the stuff of storage components from 1 country into the other and ended up taking and picking my stuff up in ABF terminals.  When there was one drawback, it’d be that for some purpose (accountability ( possibly ) the storage device centers I coped with in every locataion don’t permit these pods to take a seat on their own property.  I also checked in 1 town, and there’s a rule against leaving them around the road in the curb.  Therefore, check before making your plans. This system works great if you’ve got a driveway big enough to park you in your house as you package it.
However, I would certainly utilize ABF again.

    Could hardly have been better

Besides being the ideal alternative, fiscally, for our latest move, we could not have been more happy with our ABF U-pack encounter.
In a nutshell they had been punctually on both the ends, along with also the agents were professional and informative.   Together with all the truck driving in their hands, we could focus on getting ourselves (and our cars!) To our new residence.
    Ideal experience!

    ABF U-Pack Moving Service

My Mother’s material is currently in transit and at Chicago, Illinois since it gets it’s way out to Portland, Oregon. I was very happy with this ABF U-Pack Moving agency which we needed in packaging my Mother’s stuff. The trailer was sterile, the ramp has been sturd…y and fairly secure, the divider walls which you place in were fairly simple midsize, and also my Mother’s stuff (with the exception of a few things) managed to match within a ten feet wide by 5 ft extended distance. Besides the excellent support I had from family and friends to load up the vehicle, what impressed me the most about the experience of employing the organization and it is service was that the professionalism of the motorist. His name was Doug O’Connor plus also he was doing his job for 20 years (you can tell from how he easily maneuvered that enormous rig into parallel park near my Mother’ home ). He had been friendly, place the ramp down to us, and made arrangements with his managers to have the ability to return after a couple of hours so that we would not need to leave the trailer sitting there for a couple days (they generally leave them 3 days and then pick them up). What was even cooler is that once he picked up the trailer, he had been ready to wait around for me personally since I proceeded to visit Lowe’s two to have a correct lock which could fight the gap of this divider wall. Following my second failed attempt, he even drove the truck with me to Lowe’s and walked at the parking lot and well explained that this occurs frequently. He was also a pretty cool man. The folks I worked with on the telephone were also good to speak to and also the DVD video regarding the U-Pack support was superb! It’ll be intriguing to observe the way my Mother’s stuff is if it comes to it’s destination, however when there’s a harm to whatever, it is going to be attributed to our mistake in packaging the preview, that thanks in big part to Allan Smith along with also my Brother, we packaged the item fairly tight and high. If you’re having a ceremony and therefore are moving across state or a couple of nations a manner, I believe that this is a fantastic service and more affordable ($2,400) than forcing a U-Haul your self, that is exactly what my Mother and Brother initially were considering performing (from New York to Oregon could have cost approximately $6,000 roughly with gasoline, u-haul, lodging and food, etc.). 2 Thumbs UP! http://www.abfs.com/default.aspSee More

    Amazing customer service

I’ve only excellent things to say about abf upack. If you do not mind loading and packing your items (in the event you restrain security of your things ) here is the thing to do. Their customer support underpromised and overdelivered. They initially stated my possessions would be dropped off on a Friday after which CALLED ME back to inquire if it’d be okay to shed off a day before. Everybody, including motorists, was so polite, something that you do not see a lot of those days. And most significant not one thing of mine had been busted. Everything went as planned and that I couldn’t have been more happy.

WONDERFUL - MARVELOUS Move 5 STARS

I summoned all moving businesses to get per month. In the long run, seeing I didn’t understand just how much I was planning to proceed (because of the being us final an estate to get a household member that passed out )…I had been left with’needing to’ either cram things to”A” block or buy 2 cubes. I didn’t especially like”possibly” idea.  As soon as I went on site to maintain on the cubes…I happened to notice a thing I’d not seen previously, there’s a THIRD alternative. . .you can lease space within a 28 ft Trailer/truck. You may utilize as much distance of the truck since you feel you may need.  I (think ) that there is/was a minimal space/fee but I understood we were not likely to get any difficulty with the minimal requirement of 5 linear feet.  I called and spoke to a person before clicking to acquire the cubes as well as she had been therefore kind/curteous and explained everything in detail without hurrying through.  Ultimately, we ended up with 14 ft (For each 1 linear foot that you use they bill approx. $120)  and that I brought home items I am now able to type through in my own leisure rather than needing to create”on the spot” decisions concerning household items.  ABF gave me the exact quotation on the internet, the quote/terms didn’t change, there weren’t any surprises. They kept their word at each occasion. They sent the trailer in time, they chose it up to transfer it for transport throughout the nation, also. They said it’d be 3 days to get here, it was here in 3 times.  I, however wasn’t prepared in 3 times so that they let me a few of days in their own storage facility so that I could get prepared.  When they arrived to shipping at the final destination that this is really where they REAAALLLLY EXCEEDED all expectations.  I reside on a lean one-lane street and the truck driver required to be really careful/cautious AND WE needed to be there since the cables (tele) over the previous 4 homes are very low and we did not need our neighbors cables ripped off….They were WONDERFUL to manage. I phoned and talked to shipment, and I spoke to the Manger and the truck driver….all went really easily.  The same thing with picking up the trailer–getting it from our house area. . .they known as 20 minutes before hand, we helped get the vehicle from our region and the whole experience only couldn’t have gone ANY Better. I strongly suggest renting the space around the trailer in case you don’t understand just how much material that you need to carry, this permits you to handle it better and also the cost is more than fair and 14 ft is far more space than that which I will cover for two cubes–my closing price for 14 ft was significantly less than leasing the two cubes!  Thanks So Much to ALL — You created a gloomy experience of shutting my Mother’s estate….much simpler. Top Marks!! If I could provide you longer than five stars, I’ll!!  Thanks Thank you!  I Will Certainly recommend you and your organization to all of my friends/family

    Smooth Move

The cubes weren’t available in Beaumont, Texas, since they did not possess the forklift to support that part.  Instead I got a 27′ trailer with paychecks delivered by a super friendly guy.  Since I approved the trailer, the monthly storage in the destination conclusion was exactly the exact same cost as if I’d loaded cubes, $300. The benefit of this trailer is you aren’t restricted to many tiny spaces.  The whole load”melds” together.  With the ramp, my thighs have a great workout. When we were prepared for the trailer to be sent to our new home, they immediately delivered, again with a very friendly motorist.  He advised me to phone when it was vacant and there were no further fees. The transfer, $1715, and 2 weeks storage, $600, $2315 entirely was exceptionally affordable.  This can be”do-it-yourself” packaging, however full service moving businesses need that you wrap and package your belongings; they simply move it in their trailers.  They need more than double this sum, and will not let most anything on your garage.

    Adjusting fees

My quotation was 1944 following a 50 previous client reduction.   Upack, they send.   Well this really is accurate.   If you employ less than the distance that you were quoted that they subtract, if you utilize more room they include cost.   Well I used two feet less, which was 160 less.   On the bill of lading in which you put the Quantity of footage used, the driver place 15 feet, somehow from the time it must california my dispatch climbed to 17 1/2 ft.   They assert I composed the 17ft.   No the motorist composed 15ft in pickup, I initialed.   I asked to get a copy of the BOL, and what would we find, they crossed out 15 and place 17 concerning maintain the Identical delivery cost.   Lot of crooks.   Never again.   I rather pay extra to get a real moving business compared to these people.   All of the money I invested, I could’ve leased a truck and drove back it my self.   OH, and my cargo has been picked up on a Wednesday, they said it will be in the destination on Monday.   Well that Friday after pickup, the destination terminal called as stated Guess What, you have heard about the bad weather they are having, so that you dispatch wont arrive until Friday.   Well damn, I abandoned Wednesday forcing, got home Friday and conducted to NO BAD WEATHER.   They explanation was a lot of BS.

Abf u-pack trailers for cross country moves

ABF u-pack proved to be a pleasant moving encounter. My transfer was a little move from Long Island into Austin Texas and I’ve looked about for several possibities, possibly leasing a truck and forcing myself using the merchandise, employing a complete service moving company, geting a pod delivered, or even hiring distance to a van line. Due to drive using a truck towing my car might be a hassle and also cost a lot of money just on gasoline, I made a decision to let go this alternative early. The option between a complete service moving company will be obviously suspicious as there are plenty of crooks out there, so beware. The choice of getting a glider delivered consistently ended up becoming more expensive than acquiring space to a van line or even a cargo company as it typically entails utilizing the bunny for an whole month for storage functions, and so on, and that I really didnt want it. I was only needing a trailer in my previous apartment complex for a particular length of time to become wealthy, then delivered in my new flat complext for a specific length of time to be redeemed, therefore ABF was an ideal option. The trailer came on the installation date (tuesday)and I hired neighborhood assistance on hireahelper.com to load it in another morning (wednesday). Everything went smoothly, I’d all those things ready already, so that it was only a matter of wrap up, loading and cushioning. I then place the preview to be chosen afterwards on this afternoon such that I was able to finish cleaning the flat and loading myself the cleanup materials (vaccuum cleaner( etc). Be aware that parking may be a problem, and I’ve checked with my own apartment complex in case it’d be fine to have a large trailer parked there immediately – that they said it was okay, but bear in mind that the trailer is still rather large and since the truck mind leaves, it can’t function on the road. The driver arrived, helped me out installing the bulkhead, and I said farewell to my materials (wednesday evening). I kept minimum things with me to push down there – I would be leaving on the next day (thursday) and notice I have a spouse, a dog, and 2 cats to add a VW beetle. Especially, an aviation is an important matter because my things could just arrive a few days later mepersonally, but it actually depends upon you and  just how large is your vehicle. So I took four days before driving to get there (came on sunday) – a great drive through the center of the nation stopping to consume at super fine state restaurants. It was fine I had everything organized along with my apartment complex since it was only a matter of checking inside and posture an unfurnished flat for a few days. I began calling the neighborhood abf terminal to test in my own stuff. It came on tuesday. The terminal here is a little one, therefore they aren’t as elastic as up there at Long Island with time windows, so that I put up the delivery to another day (wednesday), they stated in between 8-5 but afterward arrived late in the afternoon. I’d put up another neighborhood hireahelper team to come back and unload it and then haul it into my new flat and I requested them to come sooner the moment the trailer came. They arrived and unloaded everything. The merchandise arrived in good shape: I’ve just a slight dent at a television stand, a corner of the vanity table, and yet another little dent at a personal table – without a big deal whatsoever. Be aware I was somewhat cautious packaging my items, many furniture pads to your furniture and sofa, bubble wrapping for delicate stuff, all was sort of sealed with vinyl wrap or interior boxes, and then I had a plastic cap on top of all and utilized my mattress to mat the rear side from the bulkhead. The men loading the trailer actually did a great job – in my estimation it’s important that you get seasoned professionals for it. Following the trailer was vacant (wednesday day ), I predict that the abf terminal to prepare its pickup, they arrived on another day (thursday) and since I was in the office, I didnt watch that the motorist. I abandoned my car obstructing the trailer mind and then after I left, I abandoned boxes onto these parking spaces requesting people to kindly not to park there.   In general, a wonderful experience. An extremely competitive cost only for the shipping, perhaps one can find a cheaper quote, however at least I got good vibes from abf costumer service promising me that everything goes as planned due to my tight schedule (especially delivery and pickup times of this trailer). Abf requested for approximately 1700, hireahelper was approx 400 complete (marginally more costly in long island, of course,”this really is new york” compared to texas). If it wasn’t such a pain, then I would certainly take action. Superior luck with your motions. Don’t hesitate to contact me should you would like. Best dreams

    Move by ABF

This movement was furniture delivered to a school student in Louisville, KY.. It cost $1953.00 just as mentioned and we supplied our own packaging materials. Pick up was just one day late (on Friday rather than Thursday) because of pickup and delivery trucks all being in use. Wasn’t billed for the excess day.  Generally the movement seemed to be uneventful and nothing has been ruined. The folks we spoke to were friendly and helpful. The only problem was that it moved considerably slower than anticipated. Nothing occurs to weekends (we had two weekends rather than 1), and halting at a significant hub for transport to some other truck may cause delays in getting the block at your house on the day it arrives. I’d use this service again, but might attempt to plan better and have more flexibility in the amount of times needed for birth.

    Very happy.

I moved from Pennsylvania to Alaska in July. I scoured the ground to get a inspector that I could hope, and 2 people I knew who’d already relocated up here advocated ABF. I utilized the cargo system, NOT that the U-Pack system, therefore that I can not vouch for this, however, the trailer came punctually in my storage center, had been loaded, and also revealed early in Alaska. The driver was exceptional and the moving business people were actually accommodating. I freaked out as it got here since the things changed and I was billed over I had been nominated, but that I had been imputed back the gap. My possessions arrived in great shape; just a desk has been ruined… little price to pay, actually. It was a really long excursion and ABF was amazing all of the way. Everybody involved over the way was superb. I prefer to use them again should I ever had to proceed (I really hope I do not!!!)

    No Issues

I transferred from Virginia to Texas in among the relo cubes.  Upon delivery that the driver was not able to manuver his truck to the area so that he needed to push a fork lift using the relocube into my property.  I packed all of my own stuff.  It had been largely pubs, a standard sized bed, two seats and a few other stuff which would not fit in containers.  I wrapped it up using all the strongest lock I could detect.  I ended up needing to save it for two months ($99/mo).  When I eventually moved into a brand new apartment I had been unable to possess the relo block delivered into the flat because there wasn’t any place to place it and couldn’t put it at the road.  So I needed to employ a person to visit the warehouse in which it had been saved (out ) and unload it and then send it into my flat.  Regardless of that 1 annoyance the procedure went easily.  I mention that so others will think about this when going, I sure did not.  The gentleman I talked to over the telephone was always respectful, friendly and answered all of my queries.  Upon launching everything seem in how I made it.  Some things had changed in transportation but nothing was damaged or wet.  I am really thinking about to work with them again but now with 2 relo cubes.  When I do I will tell you how it goes.

    So far, NOT so good..

We looked at lots of moving choices for our move into Washington state from Arizona. Basically, we went with U-Pack since the representative ensured us it had been the very convienient alternative and their customer support was”over all of the rest!” The telephone representative was really nice and useful so we reserved 2 boxes. We had been provided a window to get our boxes to be lost away from 8am-noon (just like the cable man, good ). My boyfriend and I always needed to take the whole morning off work to wait around for this man to appear and up moves, still no word. We get the firm stating our boxes have not shown up and the CSR softly tells us they are,”occupied this afternoon” and he will not be there till about 1 or 2. A telephone letting us understand this in the daytime could have been fine. We will later allowing them know I had a physician’s apointment in 1pm we rescheduled the shipping to get 2:30-3pm the identical moment. Now I have to fill out the boxes alone because my boyfriend needs to enter work for the next half of this day. *HoorayDecision I dashed home so that I did not miss the shipping, also needed to select the remainder of the day off work, and still NOTHING! It is 3:24pm as I write this and I’ve only called again to discover the man is in lunch. GREAT. The reply on the telephone was considerably less than useful and I’ve officially wasted a whole cherished day WAITING! So much for customer services. I intend to upgrade my review following the movement and will continue to keep my fingers crossed it gets far from here though it’s not looking great thus far. As of today that I reccomend you check out among the MANY MANY other businesses offering this service.

    ABF UPACK was great

We utilized a Relo-cube to transfer our stuff. We had it saved for a month while we looked for a location in our new site. We have exactly what we had been expecting, and that’s far more than I could say for different adventures with movers. They fell off the block as anticipated. It, and they picked this up. On coming our substance was in fantastic condition. The pick ups and drop offs were punctually and simple. It was a really economical solution, also since we packed it carefully ourselves, nothing has been broken.

    Misrepresented Services

No matter what you do, don’t cover this business any excess cash. I’d planned to perform just a terminal to terminal movement to be able to spend less. I could manage packaging my very own uhaul and then driving into their own truck and packaging their truck. I had been given the choice to alter it to some terminal to door shipping once I came in my new town and chose to take that path. Apparently, ABF considers my entrance door is outside in my parking lot. DOOR TO DOOR isn’t a complete shipping support, even if the cost does equal just like a complete shipping services. Don’t FALL FOR IT. This company Won’t DELIVER ANYTHING TO YOUR ACTUAL HOME OR APARTMENT. YOU WILL STILL NEED TO UNLOAD YOUR THINGS. I suppose if I had been moving someplace where I knew a great deal of people and might find some assistance with unloading (that I do not know a whole lot of folks here nonetheless ), it might have turned into a semi-okay encounter but rather they wanted to bill me $400 to push 12.5 miles out of their own terminal to my flat and depart their own 28 foot trailer at my apartment parking lot (that isn’t permitted ). Was this my fault? I really don’t think so, I think that it’s reasonable to presume that the $400 would insure more than simply driving a truck 25 milesper hour

In addition to this, there was no one in the terminal once I dropped off my things, so I needed to cope with waiting around for somebody to appear to sign paperwork. Finally someone did appear while we were packaging, did not let us know that he had been there, signed up the paperwork and abandoned them around the counter at the workplace, which had formerly been locked. Good customer services.

I still have not got any of my products, therefore I don’t have any clue what they are likely to seem like damage-wise. Now, I would not be shocked when they broke what I have.

    85% of our furniture damaged!

Think again before you use ABF U-Pack to proceed!

As an old couple, we’ve moved twice and have not ever had this horrible of an adventure before.
We compensated for ABF to package our furniture.
We packed everything else (boxes) for example all our delicate things, obviously indicated that the boxes as like listing of what exactly was inside.

85 percent of the furniture has been ruined!!!
The furniture wasn’t padded properly and also the 15% which was not ruined was properly loaded in the front part of the truck. The ruined furniture was in the back of the vehicle. Not correctly wealthy to say the very least.

Lots of the delicate marked boxes we packaged were 24 percent CRUSHED. Since we packaged them and have been through the drill, nothing which we packaged was ruined. Substantial boxes were packed along with clearly marked fragile boxes.

Allow me to set what over 85% harm is in to perspective.
43 parts of furniture ruined from 50.

To further aggrevate the problem we could not actually go in to over 90 days perform to extent of harm and period of time to”settle”.

We had a professional who produced furniture to get Ethan Allen for more than 20 decades and today fixes and sells high end hand made furniture. We inquired, since ABF needed us to get him give us a quote. Our instructions to him were straightforward. We just needed the furniture to appear like it did until they transferred it – mended or replaced as desired.

ABF U-pack sent out an expert. Interesting that he first introduced himself as representing us. We asked who was paying him to the time, etc.. He explained ABF. We said you definitely are not symbolize us.

Our specialist and their specialist where considerably different – well above $10,000. We whined with no gratification. I attempted to get in touch with the President of ABF,’d someone contact me that had been pleasant to manage but would not believe anything other than what they provided.

Potential we can arbitrate of in this scenario sue for gross neglect, but a lot of time, aggravation, etc. . could probably come down into our specialist vs theirs.

We’d strongly indicate that you think twice about using ABF U-Pack. Clearly we’ll never use them again and sorrow that we did at the first location.

Saving a couple bucks cost us dearly.

Must have driven like a madman because a lot of my stuff was broken

ABF was fine because they attracted a van that the afternoon I asked for this –the other agent said in the last minute which they did not possess the motorist’s to perform the task. My only difficulty was that I thought we did a very great job of packaging my furniture and nearly everything was ruined from the time it must texas. They were fairly fast in silent but they should have taken a number of those endings on two wheels or something as it was evident that our stuff had really been for a crazy ride. Didn’t bother to submit a damages claim together.

    ABF and U-Pack were Excellent

After getting awakened from Nationwide Moving Services located in Kaufman, TX, ABF stepped into and needed a U-Pack trailer for us that very day. I then hired a local team to load us another morning and ABF picked the trailer up to get our interstate movement to Texas. They did an exceptional job and the transfer was be quite economical this manner. Choosing a local crew to get a couple of hours on each conclusion while using ABF perform the cargo hauling is a really cost-effective way of an interstate movement. I strongly suggest them.
