Doubled Price and took forever- GO ELSEWHERE

I gave an itemized list also sent images but when the men showed up in was double my initial bidding. And that I felt like that I was actually up leading to what I had been sending. I even sent the an email once I added a few boxes. At the stage it had been too late to begin over although I must have. I had been having things sent from CA to Idaho and they milked it to the very end. They came at 4pm on the final day of their contract period before they had been in default. I waited months.

Many things were damaged (broken table that they had packaged ) and our bicycles were really scraped up. My terrace furniture needed tape on it (them again) so when I unpacked it the end has been pulled off.

And most importantly I wound up with someone else’s art. I sent them an email with images telling them so but obviously they never got me back. Guess they guess another person will simply submit a claim or some thing. Art photo attached (if it’s yours).

If I could give a zero I could. Definitely two thumbs down.

    They lie about everything

In the day I reserved this business to transfer my things out of California to Tennessee it has been nothing but important miscommunications. However thoroughly I moved over my contracts read my contracts and ask the ideal questions I had been intentionally lied to concerning the pick up date. I had been for a pickup date they then canceled did not bother calling me to inform me and came the next day. I had been advised that my 10 to 14 day window began on the day that they picked up my possessions. Now I am figuring out that that’s not true it begins the day which I told them I would arrive at TN. So now I am waiting even longer for my possessions. I am also figuring out today I will most likely need to pay another fee to get a shuttle service. Additionally A fee I had been told I wouldn’t incur. They explained that they have all of their own trucks. They do not they showed up in rental trucks. I had been told they employ most of their own in-house movers and drivers. They don’t they sent a lot of random people over who had no idea who was going to be driving my possessions. They explained that they do not pass my items on to another truck. Now I am figuring out that they are waiting to get a random trucking company to select up my stuff so it is getting shuffled around much more. And of course that is all my fault although I read my contract entirely and requested comprehensive questions whenever I did not know something. What these folks do not understand is that I am quite knowledgeable about the trucking market. So they can not continue to inform me I do not know what I am discussing. I was also informed that the rationale which they have only bad reviews it is the customers fault each single one of these. Since they are mad that they don’t get things their way. Incorrect that is an unprofessional business that informs people whatever they would like to hear simply to have the cash. If I could go back and hire somebody else that I could but I can not today my stuff is sitting in a warehouse using this dishonest company who is lied to me about each single logistic in the start simply to get paid and that I just have to expect my stuff gets here undamaged or gets here at all. Terrible customer support. The very first time that I called him to find out where my movers were. And incredibly snarky ugly woman refused to even look at my contract to help me determine where my movers were. She just kept saying over and over again and that I estimate the”movers are coming tomorrow nobody is likely to help you I am not letting you speak with a manager good day sir” I attempted to explain to her that there was a error left and that I wanted my belongings to be transferred that day. She did not care she just hung up on me. Again I am quite knowledgeable about the trucking business I had an uncle who’s a trucker. Along with a family that is employed in building and had to take care of truckers bringing things throughout the nation on a daily basis. This firm is totally unprofessional and do not let them lie to you and inform you that why they have a great deal of bad reviews is because all of their customers do not understand what they are discussing. It is as they’re entitled arrogant and I do not give a crap about their clients. Don’t use this organization.

    Save yourself the trouble

Please please please do not use these folks. The testimonials are completely right!! They bill you something entirely different than to the contract, so client support is crappy need to telephone 3 x to find somebody, broke my sofa legs so need to submit a claim, each of the boxes were broken. Moving is stressful enough without needing to be concerned about your things being ruined and every one of the issues this area attracts. When you first call to make a booking the folks are nice and useful but when they receive the deposit you are stuck and what completely switches. Please folks these testimonials aren’t lying, save yourself the trouble and locate a respectable business.

Hired them for $1000 to go furniture into my ex’s home. The fretting about shipping and then 4 months after no reply and then I receive an email stating that I must spend $3000 in cash the following day or they will auction off her stuff.

    Horrible movers do NOT use

My quotation was DOUBLED once I had been at their mercy -they’ve this hint they use – that they take all of your possessions outside and while it is all sitting out on the road they tell you it is TWICE AS MUCH to the tune of $4000. But that isn’t the worst of this. I had been guaranteed a delivery day of July 1. That did not occur…. When my items eventually came all of my boxes were CRUSHED. It was as when they threw them against a wall and then ran them over with a truck. They had been ruined! My lamps were brokenup. Dishes broken. When we eventually got thru the unpacking procedure we realized we did not even get all of our boxes. So many things did not make it into the home. Oh and did I forget to say that I had been guaranteed 4 employees to unload the truck and I got TWO. It took the whole day. Icing on the cake??? The motorist yelled and shouted at me over and over and said”why do I must speak to a girl” and he then slept in the truck all day and didn’t move 1 THING. Please folks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst experience of my entire life. And all for the exceedingly large cost of 4000. The proprietor said he owns five homes. So I am assuming that is where all of my cash went. Not even 1 star. Negative 100 celebrities.

    Super scammers

Same as everybody else, client support is fine and provides you with one cost then the encounter and package the belongings and it evolves. I had an issue with delivery in which they kept trying to deliver the truck sooner than our contractually agreed upon date. The date in the contract would be once I was formally the new owner of the home. How was I supposed to find access earlier? What is the purpose of a contract if they don’t stick to it and that is apart from them doubling the quoted cost!!

    Bait and switch

Got quoted $1269 together with all of my stock recorded. Turns out to be 2000 the afternoon of, and they’d continue to keep my deposit Of $300 when I cancelled as a result of major cost increase.

It took 3.5 weeks for my stuff to get there, and it arrived in an Enterprise truck. The movers were only random dudes. Most boxes have been squished. One was totally receptive.

Scam of a Provider. Certainly they’re just agents and then farm out the driveway and proceed.

    NIGHTMARE of a company

This really is a complete JOKE of a business. THIS HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

    1. They broke our elevator.

    2. They billed 2.5X the cost as soon as they moved all of our stuff.

    3. They took 3 hours more to proceed (6 hours total)

    4. They never gave us a statement

    5. They didn’t pick the phone up for 4 times.

    6. The supervisor, Carla, gave us the incorrect mover/dispatch

    7. The driver got “food poisoning”

    8. The truck”had mechanical issues”

    9. The move was 3 days late.

In addition to this, its own $ 3,000 over they offered us.

UNBELIEVABLE, how can a company such as this exist?

    Very professional and on time

First time with moving using a professional moving service (moving from CA to VA). We originally underestimated just how far we had, but they could adapt us no issue. On the afternoon of the movement they showed up right on time and got all of our stuff in under two hours. After we got to VA we could get hold of our driver and discover out our stuff will arrive just a couple of days later we did. Very professional team packed and unpacked everything and put up our furniture no hassle. Would absolutely recommend to a friend

Terrible _ DO NOT USE THEM

The sales rep negotiated a speed and then the man who arrived to pick up my items essentially triple the speed. The binding quote needed a 50 percent deposit. The man, Mario, that arrived to receive my furniture required 60%. Then, they broke a blossom until they even got downstairs and did not have the decency to clean up the broken glass. They were assumed to send to the 13th however, the driver (by a very different firm ) stated that he had been arriving a week early even though I wouldn’t be in my home yet. He said I needed to cover storage, despite the fact that the binding quote said 30days were contained and he needed to be paid IN CASH until I could even see that my things were intact and not damaged. When I balked, they ceased speaking to me personally and I don’t have any idea where my possessions are. The motorist said his supervisor said not to speak or text with me so I don’t have any idea if I could possibly receive my furniture and individual photographs etc. back.

    WORST MOVERS IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED

WORST move ever, when I ha compensated a minimal budget movement I might get it but this movement was over 8k, I packaged all of the boxes myself and made certain all things that delicate were indicated that way in large bold letters, day of transfer the contract quote doubled after being affluent, in concept my household merchandise size ought to have dropped then but it didn’t,the size rose but it sure as hell didnt dual, upon birth of my stuff at West Va the boxes indicated fragile was put on the floor with heavy stuff at the top, they seemed like they were pushed off and conducted over .Needles to mention a lot of things broken, many items didnt create it whatsoever, no clue where they went. E sent and left voice mails without replies. DO NOT USE THESE FolkS should you would like to get your stuff in almost any kind of being useable and undamaged. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WUOUD HAVE BETTER YER NEGATIVE STARS

    Extremely Rude Customer Service!!!

As soon as they receive your money and pick up your belongings, you’re at their mercy. Their customer service people are really rude and won’t provide to assist you whatsoever. Tatiana, Lupe and Ben will be the worse and will discuss over you and won’t hear whatever you’re attempting to inform them. Their sales rep will quote you a very low cost but the price tag is really not even a portion of what you may pay. Steer clear of this company! I’d have given them negative stars if it had been possible.

    PLEASE Don't Do It!!!

I talked and emailed with Tom Parker, Senior Moving Coordinator, on many occasions before signing the contract by State to State Logistics and that he was always pleasant and client focused. When the contract had been signed, I phoned and emailed him a couple times to test the status of my delivery plus he answered ZERO times. After I received my delivery, 8 days after , I understood that among my plastic containers had been lost (another person had glass dishes, which I advised the drivers in the time of pickup, however they piled stuff on top anyhow and broke several bowls (see attached pic). The containers were brand new). I have called many times to talk with ANYBODY, however nobody pics up, nor do they return my telephone calls. I have called the dispatch individual, Dianna, along with the driver and nobody would like to help find my clothing. I have all my coats at the container and it’s currently raining! Shops are closed and my only choice is to get ANOTHER ONE online. Regrettably, I had so much going on with this 1,100 mile movement which I missed checking previous reviews, however I wish I’d. These reviewers aren’t lying!!

    Worst ever

I contacted together to move home great from CA to FL. Two bits ended up lost. Are battling with them as March 2019. June 2019 they shipped me images of a single thing – ruined. I was told things travelled to NY, then I figure back to CA. Subsequently to Miami FL. In the bringing is January the motorist I were advised to call said that the things he had weren’t my things. He obtained another motorist to verify that. State to State won’t speak to me personally. They always hang me up. I’ve contacted a lawyer and they delivered a letter to this firm free of outcome. If anybody would like to perhaps get together to get a class action lawsuit from them, allow me to know. I wish to take all of them down.

    The WORST moving company ever

To begin with, I want to begin with stating that when I could speed a negative five stars, I’d. In fact, scratch that, I’d rate them a negative 10 celebrities.

I initially wrote essentially an whole article on how TERRIBLE this entire experience was, but determined that only saying STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY AT ALL price.

It’s absurd how unprofessional, untimely, honest, and reckless this moving business is.

The absence of care and communication that these folks had was undoubtedly the most absurd thing I’ve ever encountered. I’ve moved plenty of days, but I must mention that this was hands down the worst encounter I have ever had.

I also especially asked for weight loss tickets COUNTLESS times so that I might be reimbursed from the army, but obviously that they forgot that as well so now I have basically chucked $1700 from the window.

    CRIMINAL THIEVES

State to State Logistics has been conducting a scam. They supply estimates with the aim to double the quoted price. My things were professionally weighed and measured through an external firm at 2800 pounds and 400 cubic sq. ft., the information that my commission was founded on. Following the motorist picked up my things from a safe storage facility from LA, he phoned and said that the size and weigh was twice. I had been advised that I had to ship and extra $1500 to a 1300 binding quotation or that I could pick up my belongings in a Home Depot in which they’d drop it. Under the conditions, I surfaced, fearful of the danger. Several days after, I was amazed that the delivery happened. I needed to pay an additional $600 on delivery, without even visiting my things. Yes, the dimensions and the burden proved precisely as I’d bought them. The business is in the company of torture and thievery. Among the delivery men said,”You are not the first and you will not be the final”. I’m reporting on the CA Attorney General.

    All seemed great until...

Everything started off great. Very good price, simple structures, etc.. Business said that they delivery to my place frequently. Then things began to have a turn throughout the pickup. As soon as I ordered the pickup from my house in California, I had a 5×5 storage device which has been 60% utilized. Throughout the pickup, I included approximately 10 small / medium home depot boxes that need to have evened out my use and retained my cost. Low and behold, the motorist included $300 on my price saying that the was far over my allocated space and I wasn’t allowed to the truck to confirm. I gave a shipping window to get my things while I was driving across state and wouldn’t be home in Florida. The business attempted to send also soon while I wasn’t however, house. Though the contract said to not deliver before a particular date. Next, following this date, the business went silent. I phoned and no reply. I needed to return to CA for 4 times and once I was in CA, they finally called and stated we will be bringing”tomorrow”. I requested them to arrange delivery to the next Monday and they said alright, we predict you then. Monday arrived and no reply. Subsequently Tuesday, no reply. I then named the firm and no response. Left a message without a call back. After the motorist and he eventually responded with, phone the business at CA. Come to see that the motorist and driver to State aren’t the exact same business. Now, I phoned and got somebody on the telephone and they would like to charge me a $300 re-delivery charge! What started out as a 1200 shifting cost is currently 1800+. The individual on the telephone I talked with now looked just like she can care less. I don’t recommend this business. No matter who you go with, I strongly propose that a POD of any kind that’s storage without another shipping fee out of your quotation. This way, you understand just what’s at the POD and what isn’t and what your price is with no surprises. I would also want to say that if I reserved, I was advised that I could pay using a Charge or charge card. Throughout the pickup, I had been told Money / Money Order only.

I wanted to upgrade my review and allow you to know that this business achieved to me for my own bad review and then did nothing and didn’t follow through to correct any of the errors. I don’t expect this company.I transferred from CA to Washington DC, they came late, and they broke multiple objects, ruined my mattress frame. The customer service is rude, actually when they showed up late that they cried. It’s ridiculous. The worst part would be there ARE concealed FEES, they continue instant told us they coudlnt deliver the truck to DC we needed to lease a uhal and find all of our stuff from the truck around the side of the street in Maryland. I believed it had been a joke, however, it was not this provider is totally dreadful.

    THE WORST MOVERS EVER

I don’t leave testimonials, but when I could provide negative stars, I’d provide negative 5. Adam was the very uncommunicative, dreadful inspector I could envision. I just moved a bed, a nightstand, 1 bookshelf, and a dresser, along with him and another guy assisting him move my possessions were able to split 2 of the 5 items. The mirror on my mind had been totally crushed and my night stand has been busted. He scarcely acknowledged this incompetence, also was just like I will not bill you for the additional staircase (that is San Francisco, anyplace flat staircase ). He also was arguing and being very stern and bossy into another man helping him go, making me feel very uneasy. He offered to mend my nightstand and handed me $100 off to its shattered mirror (it is likely to require more $ than it to fix ), so that I did not create a fuss of items in the beginning. Then he proceeded to ignore my calls and texts also make me chase him for a few month. I sent a lot of texts to him and called him a lot of times, all I needed was for him to offer a time and provide me a date if it might be dropped off (such as he said he would). I proceeded November 4, and now that I just have my side desk back today (12/13/19). He left me without answers for per month. Eventually, among the innumerable times I phoned and texted him without a response, he explained ,”I abandoned the night along with your neighbor.” He did not even bother to call me to tell me he had achieved that (after specifically stating him or somebody else could drop off it ), and afterwards he had been to blame for breaking up my possessions, even when movers are sure to receive your belongings from 1 location to another without harm. My”fixed” night stand comes with a nasty crack today and numerous processors on the sides which weren’t there before, I’m furious. Again, I don’t leave testimonials, should you read the rest of this DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR ADAM, then he’s unprofessional, won’t text or call you back, and doesn’t understand how to do that task.

I stupidly did not browse the BBB testimonials, but do your homework unlike me. There are a great deal of complaints there which are so true and like my own experience.

Dealing with Them Made me Physically Ill from Anxiety

If I could give 0 stars, I really would. These people are criminal and unprofessional. They started out by establishing an hour late and operating over garden lighting. Then they loaded the truck and told me that it was 900 pounds within the initial quote. They advised us it’d be $1200 more. When my wife asked how they decided the difference in weight, they maintained the truck needed a built-in scale. I unfortunately was at work on the opposite side of the nation and couldn’t assist her with the circumstance.

Then they gave us a new contract, even though the first had stated it had been binding. The contract didn’t record the status of any of stock, nor was it true. They simply recorded it as 30 plastic bins (that, it had been mostly people and boxes). The driver advised me wife we can expect delivery in a few weeks.

A few weeks later and that I hadn’t heard from them, so I called and discovered the substance was still in their warehouse at Los Angeles. They stated it could be picked up over the week and then would be on its way. Another lie, since I predicted a week later and it still wasn’t on a truck. I again was told it would be picked up and then heading my way.

That pickup was also untrue. Eventually I got word that someone was in their way. I pointed out that I was planning to be out of town for a week to see my people over spring break. They stated it was nice and they might have delivery happen the day that I got back. Then I got a call that Wednesday that the motorist would be in my place on Thursday afternoon. I explained I had been from town and it’d be a 12 hours drive for me to arrive.

They told me that I would need to pay hundreds of dollars each day to postpone the delivery. I spoke with them and they agreed to send it directly to a storage device. They said I would need to wire the money to find the information concerning the storage device. I wired the money and asked for the information on the device. Three days after I heard from the motorist that he hadn’t left it in a storage device and may drop off it the day that I got back in town.

The driver was fine enough. Not entirely professional, however I did not feel like he had been a part of this scam. In reality, I discovered that he had been really contracted for the job and did not work right for State to State. There was a poster lost and a few plastic containers were ruined, but I didn’t pursue any harms. They’d given me the advice for their promises and all I could find about them online was that they had been also a scam.

The only real positive was when State to State took 200 off the $2400 total (that was a $1200 binding quote initially ) for carrying over 21 business days to provide.

    Business Info:
    State to State Logistics
    6912 Owensmouth Ave. Suite # 202
    Canoga Park, CA 91303
    DOT# 3168977
    MC # 116720

I talked with revenue agent, Tom Parker, in State to State Logistics over 5 months prior to our scheduled movement. While promoting the services of the firm, Mr. Parker calculated a quote for me according to cubic footage. He said that it would cost $4.76 a cubic foot to transfer our possessions to our final destination. He NEVER said that the last price would really be determined by fat loss, nor did the dilemma of weight even come up during our discussions. The written quote reveals both a cubit foot quote in addition to typical pounds, but because he highlighted cubit ft and that was the very first time I had used a moving agency, I did not grab the capacity for difficulty. Through the packaging process I had been paying careful attention to cubic footage and needed a precise measurement given the majority of or possessions were boxed. We measured our possessions to become 538 cubic feet.

On the afternoon of pickup, the movers hurried me through the paperwork (that was nearly unlegible). They had been in a hurry… toward the end that they had been quite competitive in the managing of boxes that led in certain falling into the floor. (Later in the day people also found out that they’d unintentionally loaded two seats in the flat lobby which belonged to the flat rather than us.) Subsequently AFTER all of our possessions were on the vehicle that they explained that the weight has been 7000lbs, almost twice of what the quote revealed (they compute moderate weight to be seven pounds per cubic feet ) so that their final bill was $4,740.57. If actually according to cubic feet, then the fee must have been $2,560.88 and a 9% gas cost of $230.01 to get a total of $2790.89. I immediately started calling Tom Parker, the sales rep however he wasn’t accessible, nor did he even phone me back.

Me being upset and also the movers being in a hurry, I with fantastic sorrow, signed the paperwork that they place before me. I did request to create a notation to their paperwork concerning the price/estimate discrepancy however, the guy accountable for David, might not let me. Rather he gave me a form to fill out using the business name on it that said,”Referral Letter,” and stated he’d donate it to his manager. I had not been revealed anything that demonstrated our freight was 7000 pounds, nor was it noticed on the”Summary of Charges” part of this”Bill of Lading.”

I named the organization a total of 17 days daily of pick-up. I was not linked with Tom Parker or anybody that might help me. All I could do was to leave a message. In 1 message I even asked them to turn the truck around and reunite my possessions. I emailed Tom Parker without a reply. In still another phone to the firm I asked for a supervisor and has been given the title of Robert Weiss. The secretary said he wasn’t in but may leave a message for him to phone me. He never called. Additionally, I emailed him and forwarded my prior email to Tom Parker regarding the dispute. There still has been no communication from State to State Logistics following a total of 19 telephone calls and 3 email addresses.
Our possessions still haven’t been sent. The business requests the last payment to be in money, which ought to raise eyebrows. But we’re at their mercy today that they are in ownership of our possessions.

BEWARE of the provider! The unethical business practices and inadequate customer support is ridiculous; I really feel cared for and helpless. I’ll Be submitting a complaint with FMCSA ( Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the DOT and the Better Business Bureau.
