They fooled me by marketing the title”Hawaii Island Movers,” (I thought that was Island Movers, ” the respectable business in Hawaii) and in an unauthorized fee, which I’m currently pursuing a suit for. They lost private possessions of mine, were 2-months late in bringing my items, I’ve boxes which belong to somebody else, the sticks which are mine are ruined and in horrible shape, and I’ve lost private money in my company since I trusted this business by sending my company out of Seattle to Hawaii.

I moved out of Seattle back home to Hawaii and solicited bids from different moving companies. Hawaii Island Movers has been the very affordable, and they said they would help with door to door pickup and transportation. To get 100 cubic feet, they offered me $2,500. Come pickup afternoon – nobody told me another firm (Acclaimed Movers and Storage) will be selecting my possessions. Niky D. (the individual who lent me) needed a Hawaii Island Movers email and site. Regrettably, now, we’ve got our plane tickets to proceed to Hawaii, we’ve got a transfer out date, and now I can’t begin the process over again to locate a new delivery company. So, I had been stuck with those men.

At pickup, I had been quoted to recover my possessions in one single month. I now started exploring Acclaimed Movers and’ve discovered several similar complaints. This provider is under evaluation. I’m adding my name to the many complaints today to make sure others do not fall for the identical scam I dropped into. I have also contacted the true Island Movers to notify them of this branding hint. It is my hope that this review helps others critically prevent this corporation.

ENDED UP PAYING 120 percent MORE THAN ORIGINAL QUOTE & THEY LOST 1/4 OF OUR STUFF, AND WE HAD TO PAY IN FULL prior to another 3/4 material was eliminated off the vehicle. TOTALLY GOT SCREWED!! Initially I called to get a quote over the telephone. Breeana explained a three bedroom, 2 bathroom, 3 car garage could estimate at roughly 1264 Cubic Feet that was just $4436.00. That seems like to be authentic!!! So I supplied her with a thorough list of our family things and images of these products. Plus a count of those boxes I’d packed myself. By Way of Example, 36 extra-large Home Depot boxes, 14 Big HD boxes, 25 little HD boxes, 16 gray tubs (in Walmart)
Granted I know it may change 10%-20% when the movers got our things on the vehicle but they did not tell us it moved from 1264 to 3000+cf till they had our belongings within half way loaded onto the truck. Our prices went from $4436 to $10,323.00!!!! AND we’re currently missing 1/4 of the things!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!!

This is the worst experience of my entire life. My first move ended up breaking up my two as far since they lent me. The movers packed all in tape and blankets, I still am trying to peal cassette off offering item. They put my items in there storage before I was prepared to move from state. I paid an extremely significant amount for 3 months. I asked a copy of my stock for four weeks and still never obtained it. I couldn’t ever expect anyone to answer the telephone. Once I was moving date I phoned to arrange for shipping. They offered me a price and informed me it would not be an issue getting my furniture once I needed it, but not the circumstance. Once they shot my deposit I couldn’t get ahold of anybody, nobody explained how this procedure could work. They did not inquire about the location I was going into whether they’d have the ability to have the truck in. They explained it was likely to be a 55ft truck that it was a 75ft truck which wouldn’t fit in my complicated. I was not given a contract. I tried for months phoning and could not receive any replies on shipping or even making a payment.
The movers showed up the day following 4th of July and didn’t have a contract but wanted me to pay money for the rest of $3800 I wished to cover my credit card and also they needed to charge me an additional 3.5%
I wound up getting a credit account for $2200 plus they also made me go get money. And this is the topper that they made me let two 26 feet trucks to split my furniture to. Pay an extra $100 and then not unload it in to my residence. They wanted an additional $1000 to accomplish this. I am a 54 year old unmarried girl that conducts her own enterprise. I’d no help to get this done. I had been in tears! I needed to shut my company to cope with this.
The truck was packaged so badly, everything was crushed and destroyed. The movers were so unprofessional they essentially unwrapped each of the blankets covering my brand new furniture and via it at another truck. They left me cross off seven pages of stock. I discovered a man friend to assist and they essentially had us running for eight hours in the warm sunshine. The truck was packaged so badly the movement from the other client was falling along with ours. The movers were at flip flops and I truly believe had no motive to counter the furniture in my house and put it up as though they where paid for. That is a fraud business and a highly advocate not using these.

Had my possessions picked up on 12/21/16 had been advised delivery of these things would be about the 12/28/16 period frame. My paperwork even shows 12/28/16 anticipated delivery date. It’s currently 1/13/17 and my possessions are still in the Hollywood warehouse. Customer support does not answer their calls or return messages. You must bug the reservation / quotation lineup till they eventually get tired of you and catch a customer service worker for you. Only an entire Miserable experience.

I needed to change to NY with an extremely brief term’s note, hence the majority of the movers I spoke to didn’t figure out how to fulfill my needs. The team at Acclaimed Movers was friendly and they pitched me in to their program. They came just in the time they given and the entire price didn’t exceed the quote they gave me.
Overall an wonderful experience and I would suggest using them!

We proceeded to Chicago and have been really happy with the service. Mike and Jose prepared cared for us. I’d love to state that the period of delievery in December was somewhat longer than was anticipating but that was due to the snow storm. I’ll call you again should I choose to return. Took about 3 hours to load on the car and 9 times to send to Illinois.

I haven’t written one of them before. . but here goes.

In June 2015, I had to package and send my late mother’s furniture and family heirlooms in an LA storage facility to my sister in France. These items meant a great deal to us. The storage centre gave me a card out of Acclaimed Movers. . I suppose someone had handed it to them by a preceding move.

I called and talked to a British chap (Jamie) who had his”fine and inviting” down act. I thought wow, perhaps this will not be such a nightmare after all! The quote he gave me was less than another firm I had previously checked out. They appeared seasoned. . And Jamie stated that he was from London that is where I reside. So I moved with Acclaimed.

Everything started out nicely, BUT… it surely did not end like that unfortunately. :-LRB- Overall A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

All I desired to understand from my representative in Acclaimed was the reality. . Just how much this movement from LA to France was about to price, so that I could organize my life and find the $ to cover this. I understand you get what you pay for, therefore that I did not expect decent support to be economical. I simply didn’t want any surprises.

But looking back I could see that at each turn I had been told exactly what the owner thought I’d wished to hear. . Not the facts of this situation that is exactly what I had to understand.

As it was all said and done, it’d cost me triple what they’d stated it would, as I needed to cover much more charges to business in the east coast who had been managing getting it into France.

To begin with, I compensated Acclaimed a deposit, and then per month & 1/2 afterwards, without telling me or sending me an itemised invoice to test over, they billed my credit card again. . The amount had been nearly 9 grand in complete. I was totally shocked. . As I’d no idea they’d done this. . And had no itemised reception (and still don’t). Is this lawful?
(Caution: If they send you a credit card authorisation form to signal, do not sign it!)

What I also didn’t get out of them was”an expert stock” listed under. I still don’t understand how many boxes you will find. . .Not the ideal situation, since I want that advice for French Customs.

This is what I had been hoping to happen for the $$

BUT after the container was filled and picked up, I had been put in contact with the east shore shipping man who additionally charged me to the pickup at Port and shipping to home in France.
So I’ve paid for the exact same thing twice!

The one great thing is that both men who arrived to wrap and box my furniture (Joshua) were quite good and took great care in packaging and loading all of my items. . I believe that if I am able to pay all of the charges to really get my mommy’s furniture to France, then it’ll be in 1 piece. They did an expert job thankfully.

BUT, Ive already paid $15K involving those 2 firms along with the dispatch has not even left the port nonetheless. (No Im not kidding!)

And all that unnecessary strain because of absence of information about fees… Took years from my entire life! For an global move, a individual should understand what’s going to take place, just how long its going to shoot and how much its going to cost. When its all done and said and Acclaimed have obtained your money, and you get really mad… Jamie hands you over to Jen at Customer Support. She’s quite considerate and says she knows why your so angry. . But all of the email deals go nowhere and just waste your time. Acclaimed only counts on the fact that one day you’ll quit calling.

What I did at the end was supposed to start a’dispute’ using Visa, like I do not think its legal to bill somebody’s credit card without first sending them a true quote and bill first. And so far as that very first statement I received. . Re the door to door service comprised – They said is was a”error in their method”. Yeah, right!

Losing the task and needing to move is really hard but Acclaimed movers & storage has been there together and actually I could not have done it with them. Allen along with the customer support folks including Tina were so kind to me and always called me back when I abandoned them voice mails. Happily I had the money to go and I received a great job offer here in Portland, OR and today I’m all settled in and it is all because of these!
