If I could give this business negative five stars, it’d be too great for their horrible support when things do not go right.

They transferred me in northern CA to Southern CA approximately 5 weeks ago. I had been quite sick at the moment, so that I had them pack everything too. To begin with, they more than doubled the quote they gave me on the telephone on the afternoon of the transfer.

Juan consented to send me a discharge to signal sign and send back in which time he’d send me the test. This was more than a month ago and now neither Juan or my connections at global van lines will react back.

Be cautious if you use this particular company; when anything else goes wrong, they won’t take any responsibility.

I hired a firm Named Capital Moving and Shipping however all of the contracts, stock lists and payment bills were labelled Green Transferring so I Believe that this is Only a dishonest Method of devoting an already bad reputation by conducting a company under many names.Here is my own experience using Capital Moving and Storage:
I hired Capital Moving & Transport to transfer my 88 year-old mom from London, Ontario to Halifax, NS. Major mistake. Worst decision ever. They have been inconsiderate, unprofessional, incredibly sloppy and dismissive.
I started out nervous since I didn’t get confirmation of pickup until only hours before we were expected to be from her flat and also on a flight to Halifax. After the two employees arrived they worked really difficult to acquire the movement done before we needed to depart. Gohkan, the motorist was quite considerate and a quite difficult worker but it was mad to believe they’d send just two guys for a long distance movement like this. As our time to depart had passed and we were 30 minutes late in leaving, we had been made to transfer the remaining items to the hallway so that we can lock up the flat, turn into the keys and get into the airport on time for our flight. The movers were left to finish up on their own without oversight and we needed to trust that all things could make it on into the truck.
Their price was great and also their weigh-in was fairly accurate. I’ve heard of many firms’padding’ the burden to make more income so that I was happy to observe the last statement was even below the quote given. But that is where my praise ends.

Each and every time I called dispatch, I obtained another story as to if the truck was expected to arrive. Each time I called, they said they’d discover and call me back. I never once got a call back.
We had been left thinking and waiting by the phone day after day after day. Eventually, 12 days following pick-up, I phoned shipping AGAIN and had been advised that her items were expected to be sent the following day and that dispatch would call me later in the afternoon to tell me what time tomorrow. I emphasized that we’d need to reserve the elevator in her new apartment building so that I would require advance warning. I waited all night and day and never got a telephone. The morning after, the assumed day of delivery, I phoned yet again and talked with a woman who explained the dispatcher was not accessible and could phone me back. No telephone. I phoned the booking agent next instead of attempting to bargain with dispatch. She checked my contract and maintained that yes, in reality delivery was reserved for this day (despite never receiving a telephone call from the firm per day beforehand to verify delivery). She explained the truck will be in my mother’s flat at 7 pm. I advised her that I wasn’t completely confident that I must drive into meet them because each time I phoned I obtained different advice but she promised me that it had been at the scheduler for seven pm. When my husband got home from work, we packaged up my Mother and her couple things, grabbed a fast bite to eat and drove into Halifax. We sat in a vacant apartment with my 88 year-old mother sitting on the ground at the warmth from 6:30 pm to 8:20 pm with no telephone and no bath. We left there feeling very disappointed and very upset.
The following morning I tried calling Capital Transferring AGAIN. I had been told my reservation representative wasn’t accessible so I talked with the woman answering the telephone. I advised her that we’d been routed into Halifax about the guarantee of shipping simply to sit waiting with no telephone and no excuse. She promised to learn what was happening, why they did not appear and if the shipping was about to arrive and phone me back. Once More, NO CALL BACK.
I called dispatch and threatened legal actions which got me into the manager”Matthew” (if this really was his title ). He clarified that there was a hold-up last night with a different delivery and that the motorist’should have predicted’. Yes, right. I don’t think it since there had already been too many telephone calls that hadn’t been returned so that I do not believe that was just a one-time slip-up or error.
The manager said he’d”box his ears” if he talked to the driver but of course I do not feel that either. Matthew stated he’d get in touch with the driver straight away and call me back. I did get a call-back telling us that the truck could be in my mother’s flat between 2 and 4 pm so off we moved to Halifax again. We waited at the hot, vacant flat before 4:10 if the truck finally came. Once more there were only two guys to unload and these two were the slowest movers I’d ever seen. It required nearly 4 1/2 hours to complete a 1 bedroom flat. I’ve had our entire 4 bedroom home loaded and unloaded at a shorter time!
A number of the products weren’t put into the right rooms unless we captured them and especially asked them to place things someplace specifically. Boxes, even though they were clearly indicated which area they had been to move in, were thrown everywhere and anyplace. Some things were taken apart from the movers that loaded, like the legs were eliminated off the tables etc, but these rescue men didn’t reassemble anything so it had been abandoned to my 88 year-old mum to sleep on her bed on the ground for a few nights since they did not place her bed together.
We paid $200 additional (besides the burden charges) to transfer her little organ and it came in bits. . .it had actually been pulled aside, the cupboard in the bottom, the rear and front panels falling off and the noise cables were pulled apart from the sound board. The movers spent 20 minutes trying to match it all back together again and they did a very great job of salvaging it however they were not able to attach the organ cabinet body into the bottom so it needed to be discriminated against the wall before it might be repaired. What a nightmare. This had my mom in tears. Moving is hard and particularly for those who have not moved in over 22 decades!
I’m happy that this encounter is behind us but I dread that somebody else could make the exact same mistake I did and employ these individuals to maneuver them. This firm doesn’t have any respect or regard for those things they’re moving. . .they do not appear to see that those’things’ would be the amount of the majority of people’s lifestyles; you will find memories here and attachments that this business fails to show some respect for.
The”Relocation Specialist” that reserved the contract has been changed out and couldn’t be reached by telephone after the payment and pick-up.
All of the paperwork gets the Green Moving business logos so that I guess that Capital is merely a re-branding make an effort to defer all of the negative remarks linked to the Green Moving and Storage Company.
I know that this inspection is based on my own experience and understanding and that I usually give most people the benefit of the doubt but that business with no doubt is that the worst mover I’ve ever had the misfortune to manage. My husband and I proceeded across Canada twice in addition to have only recently moved out of Cape Breton Island to the South shore, therefore I believe that I have at least some experience with movers and moving. My advice for Anybody contemplating Capital/Green Movers: DON’T DO IT! Remain clean and run for your lives!

Green Moving is remarkable! They moved me to my one bedroom flat now. I ready myself to get a stressful, emotional afternoon, but it had been just the reverse: simple and so simple. They showed up right on time, wrapped and wrapped all of my furniture and transferred it to my new location. They were equally composed and methodical about the way they did all. I even have one piece of furniture, a massive bed with a custom created heavy foundation, and I was quite concerned about how they’d have the ability to proceed this. They did it without a difficulty whatsoever. They then put up my furniture in my new place. They offered me a terrific price and were really agreeable to use. I strongly suggest Green Moving for anybody. . .such a favorable encounter.

Following three months of this, I phoned my credit card company and disputed the cahrge for which I had been given a refund with my credit card business.

Incredible. Down three flights of stairs and into a brand-new apartment with brand-new hardwood flooring — done very nicely. He had been really helpful and communicative the entire time (it took half an hour and the 3 men had been working hard and quickly ). He clarified the rate in person and waked throughout the flat as we explained which things were moving and that were remaining etc.. From the new apartment that he knew to put blankets down to guard the ground. The disassembled a contemporary sofa – and then place it back together again. They came inside the window of coming time. Plus they were quite friendly through-out the movement. The person we talked to on the telephone was both meticulous and productive. Answering questions a couple of days ahead of the move, describing their solutions, etc.. I would strongly suggest them.

Excellent expertise with Green Moving, they have been professional, quick, and friendly. We had help with our movement, and so we achieved to Green Moving. I obtained a competitive quote maybe not long after asking about their moving solutions. The 3-man team showed up on time on our moving day, we moved over some paperwork and they have right to perform packaging all our electronics and furniture. We had all our little things in boxes already, but bigger items (furniture, TV, electronic equipment, photos, kitchen appliances, kitchen appliances ) needed to be boxed up nonetheless. They had all of the essential equipment in their own truck and economically packed all of our remaining possessions. We then met them in our new flat, and they unloaded everything flawlessly. Nothing was missing or damaged. As a result of Green Transferring, our stressful movement was made simpler and pain-free! Green Moving ordered our transfer from California to Florida. They provided a great, strong quote with no openings tacked on in the end–that which had been quoted, was exactly what I paid. Five of the funniest, most polite men showed up at my door on time and prepared to work. He was a superb leader who looked well-respected from the group, which made this move run smoothly. When we arrived in our new house, the group was having trouble getting a few of the bigger furniture to fit in the doorway. With determination and much chopping, this remarkable team made it all work! An additional bonus–a few managers came through the procedure, just to ensure things were going as planned! We’ve previously moved across state and made several regional moves. This movement was the most agreeable of all for the team. I strongly recommend this business and would certainly use them again!
