My husband and I always utilized Move Central to get a cross-town go yesterday. After exploring a few moving companies, we chose to proceed with Proceed Central to our move that weekend. We’ve had some terrible experiences with movers before so that our expectations were fairly low. I now understand the reason why this firm has such terrific reviews. These men did a marvelous job. Cody, both Gerald and Jay showed up on time with favorable attitudes and prepared to do the job. They did not complain once about moving us by a third and second floor flat into a home with two sets of spiral staircase. They recalled what rooms boxes initially came out of us they had been unloading and coordinated our furniture when transferring it in. They were even able to acquire a treadmill up the spiral staircase to the next floor. These men are severe masters of proceeding.

1. Prompt to answer through booking

2. Straight ahead with costs

3. On time

4. Extremely efficient and fast – we had a whole lot of stuff.

5. Extremely polite. Never whined – all of our heavy boxes moved into the 3rd floor

It may be such a stressful moment. I was 7 weeks pregnant, including to the fatigue. Do not dare shop around to get a much better price. These men will make up any gap in hourly quantities. My movers were Anthony, Francisco and Juan. Because men!!

Proceed Central delivered three movers- every man was nicer than another. They were quite effective, but also very considerate and considerate. My moving staff that this time was Antonio (team lead), Donald, and Matt. They have been so fast and effective without sacrificing any due care with delicate products. My 1 bedroom (with many several boxes)transfer took them 2hr 15min.

They were aware of my cats and quite cautious that they not allow them out.

They reel you in having a false quote, then bill you twice as it’s all done and said. I told them what we’d up front, and they delivered a truck which was too little, which induced me to need to employ a different truck. They then hurt big pieces of furniture and extend pennies on the dollar after long waits. Oh yeah, they”lost” a gorgeous glass table also. Avoid this company in any way costs.

Cancelled in the last moment (less than 24 hours before proceed ) once I had a verified date and awarded that a deposit. Inadequate communication, I needed to follow up a few times if they were designed to contact me. Not trustworthy!

We predicted & clarified we had a townhome and had to transfer 4 furniture things and also the remainder has been heaps of boxes which were moving from upstairs into the garage. (No truck wanted ). This could have been a fantastic time for the sales representative to provide details on a three hour minimum. Yes, naturally, I’d anticipate a minimum and yes, I must have requested.

The movers came 3.5 hours late, tired and whining in their prior occupation, argued while carrying our things to the garage, then billed $440 for 40minutes of job. We were not advised of a three hour minimum. We’d never’d paid $440 for such minimum work. I Expressed frustration over their lack of discussing and breaking down the charges, their client service supervisor stated he listened to the telephone, and said you’re right we never clarified the three hour minimum, we did clarify it was $130/hour and, the $50 truck charge, (which I consented ), we’ll utilize this as a learning experience to better train our partners, but no refund will be supplied. This was after a number of telephone calls and mails. I take full responsibility for not studying the fine-print, lesson learned. But to operate with a business which requires zero responsibility, and doing what’s right was more than disappointing. In good faith, they might have given us a $50 reduction, only for coming 3.5 hours late and with two movers without a synergy, obviously frustrated and exhaused and still have made an wonderful profit.

Proceed Central assisted us with our move. The group showed up right on time to begin packing up us. Proceed Central is dreadful! Don’t use this organization. We picked them since they came highly recommended, but our experience has been beyond horrible. We moved from CA to ID. The estimator came into the home and did his job, looked like a pleasant enough young man. I talked with the major office later and put a deposit to secure the date. The day prior to the movement, the packers came out and did their job. Again, things appeared to be proceeding smoothly. But a few of the furniture wasn’t packed daily. This day, the movers came and finished packaging the furniture. With the majority of motions, a stock is finished. We didn’t get a list in the packers. The boxes did not have anything or stickers suggesting what had been at the boxes. Whenever the moving team came, the manager had to leave because of a family crisis. There was no one sent to replace him. Among the movers was chosen to be the manager, so in essence there was no oversight. The very first thing that was mentioned by direct was that the project has been underestimated and that we’d be billed for an extra truck, $3300 each truck, we’d two there. Incidentally, one was a leasing tuck since the Proceed Central truck had broken down, reassuring…. They were able to place our things to both left and trucks. After departing, they left a great sum of garbage, unused boxes and other packaging materials from the driveway. I ended up having to clean the mess up. It was also raining, so that made the task that much more entertaining. Unbeknownst to us, the movers had ruined the water valves that the washer was connected to. That damage was discovered a few days later when we had a review done on the home as a portion of their sale. Proceed Central refused to admit they caused the harm, although no additional people had transferred the washer ahead and it had been functioning rather than leaking. Additionally, among the movers had filled a towel round the valves to either hide the flow they’d induced or soak up the water. We paid for this fix later, and again, Proceed Central wouldn’t cover the damage due to their own worker (s). Two days after, the movers pulled into the driveway in our new residence. The refrigerator was about three-year-old and didn’t have one scratch on it. Now, three from those four doorways had dents and dings around them, as well as the sides too. Many calls were made into the corporate office daily. The afternoon finished with the team needing to gather the dining room table, which they had disassembled. Another call to the workplace and they had been advised to go purchase hardware whenever they had to. The lead’s explanation for not setting the table together? “We do not understand where the hardware is.” Bear in mind, no stock was completed. We discovered a couple pieces of furniture, which I created, was ruined. There was a cut in an oil painting, $3500, the list just went on. Easily, more than 100 things were ruined. A new new $1000 rolling tool box was all dented and scratched up. I trust nobody uses this business ever again and they go the way of the Dodo.
