    Long-distance move from Morristown, NJ
A terrible company - do NOT use!!

Don’t use this organization. I jumped from New Jersey to Arizona in in January-2019. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This business fraudulently over-charged me to the cubic feet of products sent. I was obligated to cover after they took ownership of my own property. They also needed a (fraudulent) $600 cash payment (to utilize a neighborhood shuttle truck which wasn’t required) before they’d un-load my property on delivery. This is a scam. The shipping has been made 2 weeks following the scheduled date. Communication through the movement was pitiful and unacceptable. And needless to say, there was noteworthy lost and ruined boxes along with other land. I invite you to Prevent this business,….Greg Moller 6/24/2019

    Moving

Under no conditions should you employ this business. I might go through and talk just how awful my movement was, however no matter what this company did was covered with the other reviews. I’ll be short and say that this isn’t a true business. As soon as I called the Better Business Bureau, the individual with whom I talked said that this can be really a”rogue plumber”. It doesn’t offer superior support or react to Better Business Bureau complaints. It puts up itself under a new name after a couple of decades. After going, always work to obtain a referral by a friend and talk to the Better Business Bureau.

    Long-distance move from Wilmington, NC
The most unprofessional, unorganized and costly cross country move

The list of problems that I had with this particular moving firm are amazingly broad, but suffice to mention that the quote I purchased in Presidential Van Lines wasn’t even near what I ended up payingfor. Presidential is a broker who advised me that they perform the majority of the transfers themselves. This was an outright lie. They offered me just over $5500, however, then when the men came to load up my things, obviously it had been way over the quote. So after visiting the weigh station, obviously the action was really translucent. The man went in to receive the burden and needless to say, didn’t show me anything. But did inform me that my present weight could bring the charge to nearly double the initial quotation. So they then scam me into moving with a flat rate. Obviously, I truly had no choice because my stuff has been already loaded to a BUDGET truck no longer! So I consented to their tear off and proceeded in my way. I signed up paperwork that stated my things would be sent between 6/10 along with 6/11. But when they abandoned NC, they shot my things into NY and god only knows where it had been for another month, since I did not get my things delivered before 6/28. Every telephone call to ask about my material has been met with lies and ignorance. And afterward, each and every thing that has been returned to me was ruined and ruined. They have had the guts to go empty bins, demonstrating and demonstrating that very clearly they’d stolen things – around $3k value of Coach bags and cologne! And the list continues. I set up a claim together on 8/14 and have yet to listen. So I finally have my lawyer working with it to me. Damage and lacking things comes into a total of nearly $20K to fix and replace. NEVER utilize Presidential Van Lines (Florida), State to State NY or even Direct Van Lines (New York) or Coast to Coast (Arizona).

    Scam

That is a SCAM firm please note & do not squander your time They are not even worth a star. . .Christian Overbi is a Whole Liar. My transfer date was scheduled for 7/26-7/27 they predicted a day before & stated my transfer date got pushed a day before they don’t have any respect for their clients. I had been quoted 1089 after both my mom & myself clarified what that was being transferred. The movers showed up 2 hours late assessed & quoted me $3300. Speaking to Manny (Manager) was a waste of time no assistance whatsoever & Christan that the (middle person ) the individual I signed up the contract with states”well you need to have more things” This organization is filled with lies, they’re Terrible & finish FRAUDS! Christian Overbi is a quick talker & makes it look like he’s”for the client” but he’s quite unprofessional. What a JOKE this provider is. I wish I read the reviews before. Save yourself the hassle & DO not cope with them!

    Long-distance move from Ohio
Took an accurate estimate and made it 2.5x too low

They had been my agent. The site I used to perform the innital stock created the ideal response 5,000 pounds. These men asked a lot of questions and created the quotation 2,400 pounds. Plus they didn’t mention if my things would be sent. I believed it had been a 270 mile guide move. The paperwork didn’t say anything.
The movers State to State chosen, Integrated Moving Solutions (New Jersey) revealed up 22 hours late, with a variety of tales and ETAs during those 22 hours. State to State stated that I could pay half having a personal check. The driver which showed up said they’d hold my things 7 business days if I didn’t possess the CASH (that was 2.5x that which had been anticipated )… If I’d have occurred to get 1440 money in my pocket, I might have my things in two days. They also desired the check made out to the motorists personal name, not the motorist that eventually showed up, but the driver who failed to appear. I denied. I hired a business, not an individual. I really don’t have my things yet.
I left them mails to get me early Monday, its Wednesday and they haven’t responded.

    Long-distance move from Brooklyn, NY
    AVOID! DISHONEST

This evaluation should be a minus 5. Please read whole post because it will save you, your things, & your cash. This business is a scam. I am uncertain how they have this kind of high ratings here. I can only believe real clients are not leaving testimonials. The testimonials on Yelp are dreadful. I recall the motorist prodding me to come here and give them a fantastic review. Start Looking for testimonials for State to State in Jersey on Yelp, they are just two titles. They’re SHADY! I didn’t hire State to State Movers/ Relocation, however they had been delegated to me by Assurance Van Line Services Inc, which will be just another firm to AVOID! (They beneath estimate you cubit ft and permit their individual moving builders to over charge clients ).

My alerts went off after State to State did not appear within a formal truck, however a leased Penske truck with just two men that looked like they only caught off the road. I wished to ship them away, but we were leaving in 2 days. My apt was a little 1 1/2 bedroom apt in Brooklyn. The motorist (point person) of this vehicle came in, took one look, & stated your stuff is not likely to fit into the cubic foot dimensions you paid for. I clarified Assurance Van Line Services Inc and I spent hours on the phone going over exactly what we had, our furniture & box dimensions, all in fantastic detail. The cubic feet on the contract is precisely what they said we had. We moved back & forth, then I realized he did not appear with my newest & bull contract but a classic one. If I was not at the top of it we’d have been duped even more. I needed to pull up an email with the most recent contract & telephone Assurance to repair the matter.

After all that I believed everything was treated. He moved into the truck, seemed & stated well it still doesn’t match with the additional cubic feet which you have. Give me an additional $400 & I will make sure everything matches. I told him do not attempt to defraud us, but my husband guaranteed to tip his men. Throughout all this confusion that the men were putting our things on the vehicle. I noticed that they were not tagging a few boxes & I requested them to, (later delivery we understood box #’s were missing, a few had two amounts, & some did not have any at all). The driver kept coming at us from several distinct angles with all these stories. Your boxes are too heavy, you’ve got a lot of material, my boss will not be happy etc.. We had been so exhausted/upset that we finally chose to leave a number of our furniture due to his tricks, always shifting his reasons/stories, and we still ended up paying extra $$$’s. It was undoubtedly the very upsetting and exhausting experience I have ever had with a business.

On delivery we’d broken furniture, the stock checklist was all wrong &’d no descriptions. It is a fantastic thing that combined using their numbering system, we left brilliant yellow title & place 6×9″ tags for most of our boxes, such as the one which went missing. A number of our boxes have been broken open, with broken objects indoors.

The worst aspect of the whole thing was that the theft? /missing things. We obtained our stuff & noticed that one of our boxes had been lost. This box was a recycled 60″ TV box. We employed the box to get our image frames since it was large. It’d frames from household, in addition to our wedding picture frame with pic & composed messages from our guests. We had our flat screen TV in an unmarked Home Depot box. I recalled back that the moment the men came to find out our things there was much discussion about which box comprised our TV. It seemed strange at the moment, but things were so chaotic that I fell it. The recycled TV box is lost, it had been the largest box in our dispatch & not difficult to spot with a bright yellow sticker with all our names on it. We’re believing someone believed it had been that our TV and took it.

When I named the state to say office the day following delivery. The workplace admin sounded quite unconcerned & instantly said you are going to have to submit a claim. I said I would really like to have back our box due to it’s contents. She said they would check the warehouse. Well, I have known for months & I get the exact same response no they did not find anything– all said without much esteem, like she’knows’. We looked in the claims procedure & it is ridiculous. You want pictures of things missing, receipts of if you purchased each thing (god forbid it might be a present ), and a complete collection of different items. We later found out that each individual whose items were sent on our truck missing things.

The delivery men were a group from the midwest & dropped & rolling out our boxes. People’s possessions are being moved from truck to truck. State to State is in New Jersey but the delivery men stated that our substance was shot to them and they then drove in the midwest to the West Coast. No wonder that they come ruined. State to State additionally costs $75 should they need to climb over 7 steps. A flight has 12 or 13 measures, thus you’re certain to pay that sum when you experience an upstairs degree. We paid the shipping driver and they’d us sign a reception. They conveniently forgot to leave the receipt, thus there’s not any record of payment.

Along with all of that, they also did not honor a couple of week storage expansion on the contract, and have not called us back after as they state they’d.

A 1700 quote to send our belongings turned to some $2700 Bill. Transferring states is trying, moving with this firm is likely to make your expertise HELLISH. AVOID!!

I’ve replicated the site above to guarantee accuracy of this firm I’m referencing.
State to state supplied a seemingly friendly and honest sales man that was able to safeguard us as customers. I had been pleased with decision and quotation up until about two weeks prior to the move when seeking to finalise stock for precision and also the stated sales man wasn’t return to me, and then I started getting anxious. When he did eventually return to me, he”promised me I’d no reason to be worried”
We had been provided a quote that I had been assured in writing wouldn’t spiral. We had been told over the telephone and in writing that the”cost per CF will be reduced to protect against the price spiralling”.
On the afternoon of the play, after all the possessions were badly wrapped and loaded on the vehicle, the quotation has been INCREASED BY ALMOST 50 percent! We had been quoted a”real cost of $4,800″ ended up paying $9,397!!
Obviously we never heard another word from the sales man.
The supervisor wouldn’t assist me on the afternoon, was emptied, and also the drivers would not leave until we had paid. We’d flights into our brand new state the following day thus had no option.
Our possessions took more than anticipated to arrive, and if they did arrive, we had several things missing and damaged things, including my husband new guitar.
The inventory composed from the shipment team on the afternoon was incorrect with things recorded incorrectly, by way of instance, a headboard was recorded as a”lamp”. A large rug has been recorded as”a Tiny soft item”
The director of this firm refused to speak to us and had his own team just keep brushing off us.
We mean to take this farther legally as we’re down a few thousand pounds without as much as an apology.
This firm ought to be avoided in any way costs. The drivers appeared to concur that the company are crooks and that”this happens all of the time”. I estimate”two bed apartments are constantly allocated 900CF and end up 1,500 / 1,600CF, they do it All of the time”
The worst company I have ever personally dealt with. We also were advised that they don’t outsource that is just another lie. The motorists that delivered our stuff weren’t utilized by State To State.
Really upsetting and fiscally damaging encounter.

Poor Service, Charged for Services Not Received, Over $8K in Damages

I cannot tell you to not use this organization. But, I will explain my mum’s go experience and encourage you to think about when this is the way you’d like your possessions possibly treated.

I must have advised them to depart the moment they began, however I had been desperate to return to CO after 2.5 weeks in Alabama along with my mum, who only had open heart operation. A lot of the fault lies with me to not quitting the procedure the moment I saw how badly things were being treated. But, I wish to record my expertise, so which you may steer clear of the telephone, the delay, and the distress related to needing to cancel a transfer.

The movement turned into a”full package” the contents of the whole home were shifting. We had been an immediate boat, the sole customer.

The second Rico stepped from the doorway this started. “you need this?” ,”this too”,”what about this”,”oh no”,”this too”,”you take this it is going to split”,”you do not require this”,”you need this overly” – all of day. In the conclusion of the day that it had been”no, truck complete,”you do not desire”,”can’t take”. We needed to argue to allow them to take matters in there. We had been forced to leave items behind. We asked for items to be packaged which have been left behind. We complained and requested the company to send them to us in their cost. We are waiting for all those things today.
The way my movement was managed

After the truck came at Colorado, they started to unload the vehicle in the new home we’re renting.

They started to float and we needed to stop them and ask them to put down the floor covering within the carpets. “We worked out”. We requested them to go purchase a few before moving. No protective covering has been put on door frames, walls, stairs, or railings. Front door had dents, the rail includes a gauge inside in which a treadmill has been dropped onto it, there’s a chunk of plaster lost from the wall at which the treadmill struck, and there’s a two foot long scrape on the wall at which the pedals has been hauled down the stairs by Rico. Damage we must cover our landlord. It is contained in the $8000.00 damage maintain we registered.

Two additional regional builders needed to be called to help with establishing the beds since the driver didn’t understand how to accomplish this, nor did he tag any of those 3 beds which were taken aside, so he didn’t have any clue which bits went where.

I also moved in this period as my husband and I moved in with my mom. Two additional movers were participated who were exceptionally professional. Both looked in how exactly State to State Movers LLC had boxed and managed items and stated that it had been”a scam”,”entirely unprofessional”,”the worst sort of discount for a person’s possessions”, and”and humiliation to specialist movers”.

I made a website with photographs and supporting documentation concerning this business at https://www.statetostatemoversllc.com/. I’ve got over 100 pictures of damaged and badly packed things, in addition to harm to my new house.

    DONT DO IT!

I’ve not dealt with this kind of unprofessionalism. Customer support is a joke. I talked to a girl who seemed like she had been tickled and cleansing the home at precisely the identical moment. Communication is quite scattered and nominal at best. Don’t count on paying whatever they quote you personally. As soon as they have your possessions you’re obligated to whatever cost they develop with. My motorists were perplexed on fees, each time that I called country to say, they increased the cost. I stopped calling when my final payment struck $750. (That is only the last payment). Some damage to possessions. The drivers are extremely fine, however they ought to boycott being contracted by such a shiesty company as state to say is. Furthermore, your final payment (at delivery) must maintain post office money order OR money. That is simply because so many folks stop payment on this previous payment when they receive their items back. Hmmmmmm that is a great indication your company stinks.

    Long-distance move from New Jersey
    Poor residential move

This movement was the worst of all 12 moves we’ve made within the previous twenty decades. The salesman Frank Cohen claimed things that never came into fruition, for example complete packaging, accurate and real price of the transfer, and also company owned trucks. All the time we spoke over a week that he worried that there honesty. With witnesses about on going day 11-21-14 he shifted his story 4 days. Part owner Leo doesn’t offer great customer support as he’s impolite and plays a match with the client thru his employees in the area who need to choose the warmth from the client after services and prices vary. Alfonso who had been at work as foreman was quite impolite and 1st thing at the doorway said the cost had to move from 6400 to 9000 along with Frank and I consented on 6400 to suit different businesses. However he always worried honesty. Ya right. Quite bad packaging as a $1500.00 patio fire pit ruined, compensated for garment boxes along with all boxes needed clothing thrown in from top to bottom with couple of hanging. They had been thrown inside and pushed down tight with harm. Truck discharged water whunch caused harm to containers and stains on furniture. Don’t recommend this business to transfer a junkyard not as personal possessions from a house. The previous driver Mike along with his team of unloaders were exceptional and really felt awful for us but harm was actually done.
