    Long-distance move from Herndon, VA
    Caution

I transferred out of the Northern VA area to Kansas City, Kansas to get Work. I moved via Liberty Bell Transferring Group based out of Florida. I went via an itemized listing of my things. They informed me that they could do the transfer for about $ 2,000, which they ensured that the cost won’t rise and that’s the maximum I shall pay and also do monthly storage fee of $85 per month. After the movers showed up that they donned my merchandise and took my own things.

A couple of months after, I get a phone from Seal Van Lines and they informed me that the monthly storage fee was to be $150 per month. I attempted to figure out this matter using Liberty Bell, but they wouldn’t collaborate or help with this issue. After I had my stuff sent, Seal Van Lines said they had an extra $1,300. I simply agreed and paid the gap only to be done by this or else they weren’t likely to send my goods. When my belongings had been unpacked, many furniture pieces were seriously broken, the movers felt a hole in my walls, along with the missing a couch seat of mine. I contacted that the moving business that really day and delivered them pictures. They confessed getting the images and confessed of dropping my seat and they were planning to attempt and relocate it. This was just one month ago.

I’ve been attempting to find a hold of these today to observe the standing of what, but nobody will return my telephone calls or my mails.

    Moving Experience

Seal Van Lines did a marvelous job with our movement from Connecticut down to Florida. The foreman Michael on the project has been great and did an wonderful job whilst packaging and tagging all our things in detail. Our dispatch arrived perfectly on time and possessions were precisely how we abandoned them if the were picked up from our previous residence in CT.. I’d certainly encourage everyone to use this business because their mover for any local or long distance move due to the caliber of support along with the inexpensive pricing.

    PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE

The worst moving company ever. They gave me a quote through email. When motorist came they wanted to bill me 1,100 bucks more for half of their things from the stock list. They eventually agreed to take large part of the things on the record but when I noticed all of the things they left behind I automatically canceled all obligations today they’ve half of my things that they don’t wish to return. They explained that if I need my stuff I’ll need to go pick it up myself. So imagine what I will pick up my stuff but that I also contact the BBB and placing a claim during the civil court. Please people help me get this company out of business.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THIS IS A SCAM. It has been among the worst experiences I’ve EVER had in my entire life. They’ll be quite so fine in the start and assure you all, then once you sign that contract, then it is finished. It took 17 days to allow them to send our things, when they informed us it might take 3-5 days. In addition to that they won’t phone you straight back and you can’t get in contact with anybody. We had no idea where our material had been for two weeks, and nobody would give us some answers. We believed our things were stolen. Sam Pierce is your smallest life form, he’ll sweet talk you and then never talk to you again. I called, emailed and interrogate him over 50 occasions and he never replied. After they finally delivered our things, they introduced an 18 wheeler and stated they had us to provide them $300 to rent a bigger truck because the 18 wheeler was too big to fit within our drive. We convinced them to attempt along with the truck match but they still demanded $150 since it had been 12 additional measures to the door. We refused to cover them and had to call the cops since they wouldn’t leave our land. I will allow the photos talk for themselves. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    Great Movers

I utilized Seal Van Lines last year January, and so are so very happy with their service.I transferred out of New Jersey to Ohio. The young guys that did the transfer proved quite professional, coated the furniture so that it wouldn’t be broken in transit, also put the furniture in which we needed it at the new flat. They even helped place my furniture back together because of me. I would never be reluctant to recommend this company to our loved ones members and friends.
    Service price: $1200.00

The worst experience in my life and i've been stabbed before

As soon as they receive your company they might supply two f***s around you. I have been sleeping on the ground for two weeks and not 1 individual, particularly nicole is upsetting to assist us. She’s sent me to voicemail 4 times and hasn’t bothered calling me back. They were rude from the minute they came in my doorway (two hours late) and refused to carry half of my things since it was not with this guys record. I reapetedly asked ahead for somebody to come back and perform a visual review because we’ve got a whole lot of things and im not so sure what the total will be and they stated no theres no demand for this we do not have time. I needed to cover 600 additional for a single mattress and 6 moderate boxes to be inserted into the truck. I leave the drive over here only to learn that the truck has been broken up and has stayed broken down till only a week. I predict that the dispatcher once per week and he states it is along the way. I phone him 5 times back and he says it’ll likely be there in 5 times. Good eventually my suffering will soon end. I predict following the 5 times since I wish to understand where my stuff is and today he says that there were seven stops that they needed to create along the way and it is in Denver today, ought to be there anymore. This was two days ago and I am still waiting to be contacted. I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy. Terrible customer support, no one in the business communicates with every other and also the foreman for the movement made my mom cry because of how rude and unethical he had been. Are you aware they’ve another firm under a different title in order that they can conceal the terrible testimonials? Look up it

RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN - SHADY PRACTICES!

This business is unethical at best. I had a wonderful talk with the relocation expert, Nicole, to install service. We were just shifting three rooms of furniture just from Long Island into Philly (240 kilometers ). We spoke in length about how I’d coordinated to get people fulfill the delivery men on the opposite end and just how much of this furniture was likely to be instantly picked up by family and friends to be obtained everywhere. Furthermore, she inquired if I’d boxes to place the TV and floor lamps in. I told her no, those were long gone and she promised me it was not an issue because the men might wrap it carefully in blankets. I also assured that the whole price of this transfer can be compensated by credit card, as I didn’t wish to carry around money on the day of their transfer. She promised me that wasn’t a issue and even took my credit card the afternoon we implemented the contract to cover the deposit.

Fast forward 3 months after to going day. The motorist calls in 8:45 to inform me they’ve struck traffic and certainly will probably be present in 45 minutes. It had been one hour before they came (no big deal). IMMEDIATELY upon coming the direct inspector begins hitting me for charges. Demanding I cover for boxes to wrap around the TV and lamps, even due to their insurance took it. Telling me that I’d cause any parking violation charges (um, do not park illegally?) And telling me that I need to pay in money or money order. I showed him that the email communication where I had been told my charge card could be nice as payment on going day. So he calls his own boss and that I predict the relocation expert. Now she is singing a different song and telling me that I need to register a credit card authorization form. They had had 3 months to make that happen and here we are about shifting day with no access to your printer, computer, facsimile machine or any other thing. I needed to sign a form (together with the incorrect company’s emblem on it), have a pic of this and then ship through text (so maybe not shielding my advice!) The manager said repeatedly not to supply the credit card information into this motorist, but to ruin the paperwork once delivered, so that I did.

The drivers subsequently took 4 hours to pack and load 3 areas of furniture (at best, it must have obtained these 3 guys no longer than 90 minutes. Thank GOD that I was not paying by the hour). THEN the actual shenanigans began — the sacrifices that you see about in which they have your things onto the vehicle and they start hitting on you to get more charges. Therefore that the lead driver walked me out into the truck to reveal a few marks on the walls to the interior of the truck and also inform me that my possessions took up more cubic feet than anticipated — this was likely to double the quote! I had not been carried to the truck to determine where the point was where loading would begin, nor can I determine whether there were ft of available space between my possessions taking up unnecessary, less expensive space. Therefore the anticipation is that I simply think this man and pay him nearly double what was projected.

The direct driver moved to finalize the paperwork and said he would send the furniture the following moment. I informed him that was improper, as I was quite apparent from the beginning that the identical day delivery was a necessity. Further, he needed my charge card info and that I told him that the manager taught me to not supply it. He went ballistic and called his foreman while I called the boss. They apparently taught him to stand down, however immediately billed my credit card for the complete amount (nearly double what I had initially been lent ). I expressed how unhappy I had been with the workplace and tell them this was really shady. I had been advised to phone the manager since he”desired to talk with me personally”. Why am I calling him if I’m the client that has been treated badly and tricked?

At 2:15pm that they eventually roll out to create the driveway to PA.. It is a 2/12 hour push then of the day. I finished my job in NY and made two weeks after at 4:30. At 5:45, the direct driver phoned me SCREAMING at me since there was a street closure on the road he’d taken. How would I’ve been in a position to predict this? He never inquired nor advised me exactly what path he was carrying. And that I don’t do the job for NJDOT, just how would I’ve known the road had been shut? He works for a trucking firm using a dispatch team. How had they never informed him of the? After three phone calls (each of that he rudely hung up on me), in which he always said he was only going to flip around and have some send the furniture another day since he”could not find another means to get there”, I angrily told him to quit speaking and I’d give him a second path. He simply did not need to accept it as it was likely to take more and that he wished to go home (yes,” he also explained this!) . They eventually found another leadership, hung me up and proceeded to the last destination at PA..

Lately, I managed to fall off a lien in the home, push through the lender, fill up with gasoline and then arrive at the final destination in exactly the exact same time that they failed — 8:05pm — almost 6 hours when they abandoned!!!

Now, the motorist was so mad that he wouldn’t talk to me personally. They unloaded very fast, but didn’t bother to check for harm (There was a few ). And while among the movers was still putting furniture together from the garage, the direct driver shouted at him to quit doing it since they were not likely to be home until 1 am and needed to return up at 4am. They left without completing putting back the furniture together.

NO ONE from that business has bothered to reach out to me, apologize, or even fix any one of the. I think they’re dishonest in that they lie about you upfront, and get all of your possessions on their automobile and after that essentially hold you hostage during a few of their most vulnerable times in your lifetime. I’ve moved more than a couple times in my lifetime and I have not had a more dreadful experience.

The worst moving experience I've ever had

… And I have moved four times in the last calendar year.

I had been lied to over and over again. As soon as I consented to utilize this moving business they’d told me that they would send my items same day or following day.

Despite my attempts to remain in touch with the organization both before pickup and following pickup, there was absolute disregard for me to the component of the movers. My sales representative advised me daily. . It will get there everywhere… the movers must get hold of you. The movers never referred to as day after day after day. I needed to telephone and email incessantly merely to receive my things back four days after. Come to discover they’d already been in storage the whole moment. Not even in transit.

I had been told that using the quantity of stuff I’d be shifting the cost should not increase in any way, even when I inserted boxes into the dispatch. I eliminated a tv, two bags, a box of eyeglasses, and a few other personal possessions along with the cost still improved around $200.

I would not have felt that the coming date of my things if the provider just could have remained in touch or been truthful about if my things would have came, but that wasn’t the situation. I could not get a direct answer for days.

I just moved a bedroom filled with things (mainly boxes apart from a futon), however for some reason once the movers came they could not handle easy installation of furniture or communicating with one another. I have transferred my futon myself (like a girl ) and shot it away / put it back together with no issue. The movers shot chucks from their rear door until they determined it was proper to choose to futon aside so it’d fit in the apartment. They took two hours merely to receive my possessions into the flat. They abandoned two shelves without even placing them up. The inspector maintained calling me until they came asking me personal questions, even once he got here he kept requesting my number/if we might get to understand every other/if he can remain. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I’m a girl that lives alone and only moved into a new town where I do not know anybody… how could that ever be proper.

Up until the previous day the movers maintained attempting to expand the fall off date to my items. If I had not pushed them they wouldn’t have arrived before a week later pickup.

Due to no previous notice of the true shipping time before my possessions was already packed and sent at the van, so I spent days sleeping on a ground and wearing the exact clothes until my possessions came.

The worst move I have ever had. I should not need to maintain your a** to allow you to be fair and do your work correctly.

    These guys are awesome

I had a crisis transfer back home these men were so great they listened to what I had up to shifting back home on this short notice and made it happen. The men that came to load up the vehicle were quite professional. Once they chose to Louisiana what was great that they drifted and reassembled everything how I wanted it. I genuinely value Seal for assisting me how that they did I thought that this move was gont be hopeless however Seal Van Lines left it occur.

    Thank you

Excellent business, so fair and comprehensive. I recently moved from ny to Tennessee with my husband to his very first movement and they supplied such incredible support. The woman let me through all, to know everything and also to check in and make sure that everything was on stage. In addition, the pricing has been amazing. I suggested that this firm to my friends which are on the go. Simply wonderful. Everything a first-time mover can request. Thanks!!

    What a great experience!

This was all about great experience. First let me begin off by saying their customer support is fantastic that the people are fine and they’re so beneficial. They transferred me and my loved ones from NY to AZ the day the movers came into my home the men that arrived were so professional and nice they wrapped everything fast whilst performing a great job. When they must AZ they drifted and reassembled my furniture all that I had been so impressed by what a fantastic job they did.

    Thank you Seal Van Lines.
